They will try to charge you a $45 co-pay for new equipment. That's not my responsibility. Ive never had a co-pay ever and l've been going there for five years. The gaslight me saying that they informed me of this new copay I called my insurance they told me that there should not be a co-pay at all. Dr. Mirjares is an excellent eye doctor. She is very thorough. She takes time with her patients and does not rush; and she listens to you. She is very understanding and compassionate. The staff at this specific office is also very efficient and nice. I switched to this office a year ago from the Pahrump office. I don’t mind the drive or the time it takes to get to this office. I would never switch to another office if another eye doctor unless Dr. Mirjares stopped practicing. On March 25, 2025, I attended a vision appointment at the Clear Vision Eye Care Center, located at 4485 S. Pecos Rd., Las Vegas, Nevada. The appointment was scheduled between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with Dr. Mijares-Landen serving as my attending eye doctor.

Upon my arrival at the clinic, I was greeted courteously by a female front desk/administrative clerk and subsequently waited for 20 minutes in the waiting area. I was then called by a female optical technician who conducted my eye screening. Regrettably, I found her demeanor to be unprofessional, as she provided instructions in an authoritative tone that I perceived as disrespectful to patients, irrespective of their medical insurance coverage. Furthermore, she did not properly sanitize the equipment and failed to introduce herself or explain the procedure in detail prior to my consultation with the eye doctor.

The overall atmosphere of the clinic appeared unwelcoming, as several doctors passed by without acknowledging the patients, offering only minimal greetings or superficial smiles.

In contrast, Dr. Mijares-Landen excelled in communicating the results of my examination. She thoroughly explained my diagnosis and offered various options regarding contact lenses, which greatly assisted me in making an informed decision.

As of April 10, 2025, I have yet to receive any notification concerning the status of my eyeglasses, despite assurances that I would be contacted by phone or text. Upon initiating contact myself, I discovered that my contact lenses had arrived for fitting without any prior notification. I find it disappointing that the clinic has not effectively communicated updates regarding the status of orders or potential delays, thereby necessitating that patients reach out for information.

I got him to see the doctor instead of having to wait for hours. I got to see him early because I was a little early
I think I was out of there by the time of my appointment!

I drive an hour and a half to get to that location so I leave a lot of extra time because you never know what could happen in traffic and that long of a drive!
I’m actually snowed over Mountain and I have to drive over on my way there so I was happy. I had extra time, but I made it in plenty of time as soon as I said I was early!

After I got my prescription from him, I went to their optical department and picked out some glasses with a young Lady (Frances). She was very helpful and took as much time as I needed. She was great also!

Now, when I get the glasses, we’ll see if I Made the right choice! That’s always the scariest thing for me. I think I like something and then when I get it, I’m like what was I thinking lol.

Anyway, I highly recommend Clear Vision of East Las Vegas, I believe the address is 4485 Pecos, There is more than one optician there. I see 👀 Dr. Mendez 👀 and I highly recommend him.
I can’t tell you about the others. I’m guessing that they Provide the same standard of care.

In fact, initially, I saw a different optician there and he was wonderful also but he ended up Not being there the following year?

But I’m kind of thinking that Dr. Mendo Sets the mood or agenda there , And our adventure to guess that each of the opticians at that location do excellent work

Can not believe its been 5 years , but as of yesterday thats exactly what it was. Dont let the gals at the front desk scare you off! They can be less than friendly ...but where it matters the staffis absolutely amazing. Caring, kind , compassionate and highly skilled . And the young lady who was fitting me for glasses who sadly i didnt get her name but i did get her hire date january of 2024was Amazing my appointment was at 3:40pm which means i got out minutes before they closed! Im a big guy and have bad hand eye coordination to boot but i went with flexi frames because im tired of the nose marks/indentations I get from my current frames/ lenses. Girl i dont know your name but I know your kindness, your caring and your compassion and i for one want you to know how deeply I appreciate it. And YOU specifically and my amazing Doctor too i suck with names but hes tall hispanic and freaking a rock star he has nailed my script for the last 4 years and i look forward to another 20 before he retires God willing.

Highly recommend this team of service professionals. Only wish the girls at the desk took note of how the rest of the staff treats the patients.

Patience is a virtue and one that I certainly can afford to work on myself . And the rest of the staff are an absolute delight ! So run dont walk especially if you have a particularly difficult time getting glasses that actually correct your vision like I did before i lucked out and found this office

Everyone at this location, from reception, OD, to optician is extremely professional, competent and gracious. Dr. Mendez is very thorough and kind. I won't go anywhere else for my vision care. Great Eyewear selection, too.

I have been going to clear vision eye center for some time now I have had complete confidence in the doctor he actually cares about my vision and all the girls that help ya get the pair of glasses that fit your needs are very helpful and you can feel the vibes that they want you to have the best and not just trying to pass you through and get you out like a number they get you the best quality and discounts possible a very enjoyable time and when i get my new glasses they assist me in making them fit and look my best just a very enjoyable and feel cared for when I leave.
