Was recommended to see Dr. Utley from my primary care physician for tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. Was charged a 50$ copay for him to tell me to stretch more. Another co pay to pull out inserts and put them back in the bag. Would not recommend going unless you need a major procedure done.

Came in with plantar fascia pain I did everything under the sun to cure after 8 months of conservative care i decided to go see Dr. Utley, I walked out feeling amazing and 10 days later the pain is almost 100% gone

Dr Utley is good people. I've been having ankle pain from standing and walking around too much from work. I wasn't sure what was wrong other than over stressing it. I was worried it was a larger issue but the good doc just recommended better shoes and insoles that were made for my flat feet. I didn't know I had flat feet and that it was a problem that most shoes and insoles were for people with an arch. Didn't know I was abnormal.

This along with some exercises alleviated all the pain. 10 star experience easy.

I am a Type II diabetic, and a while back, I stubbed my toe and received a large bruise from it. Dr. Utley took care of that right away, and I didn't feel a thing! Was fearing the worst. Will return every few months for maintenance. Thank you, Desert foot and ankle!

Dr Utley is very knowledgeable. I had no idea why I was having so much foot pain all of a sudden. He knew right away it was planter fasciitis. He got me started right away with exercises and very easy solutions. I highly recommend him he’s was very kind and efficient as was the whole office.

I've seen Dr. Utley 2 times within the last 2 years to address ingrown toenails. The staff at Desert Foot and Ankle have been friendly and helpful each time I visited the office. Last time, I had an ingrown toenail and Dr. Utley removed the portion causing me problems. Since then, I haven't had a single problem with it! Unfortunately, the nail on my other big toe also became ingrown! I called to schedule an emergency appointment due to pain and difficulty walking and they were able to fit me in a tight schedule the very next day! After arriving, I explained to Dr. Utley that I'm somewhat resistant to anesthesia, and he made sure I was numbed up completely as he began to work. I'm very hesitant to visit doctors in the first place, but Dr. Utley's bedside manner and expertise in podiatry have been nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend paying him a visit if you have issues with your ankle, foot, or toes (especially those pesky ingrown toenails!). Thank you Dr. Utley and the rest of the team! I truly appreciate your help

If you plan on visiting this office expect to have higher out of pocket cost than what you are told. Prior visiting this the doctor I contacted the office and discussed the would-be cost of the office visit including X-ray. After I provided my insurance information I was told that the total cost of my visit would be one amount, however after my visit I received a bill for additional cost which was more than double the amount of the amount that I was provided. When I called the office to discuss the additional billed amount I was simply told that what they provide over the phone is a “guess”, which does not make sense since they have clear schedule of cost for office visits for new vs existing patients. This office does not care if their simple mistakes cost the patients additional out of pocket cost.

Dr. Utley and his staff are wonderful. He explained my diagnosis clearly and answered all my questions fully. Best of all, my treatment was simple and very cost efficient (new pads and inserts for my shoes). He didn't recommend any needless procedures that would have cost more money. He also offered to put inserts in all of my shoes if I brought them in! Definitely recommend him and his staff for any foot pain problems.

This is one of the best doctors I’ve been to, he had a great personality and explained everything as he did it. I took my son in for a problem he had with his foot and the doctor made us both feel safe and secure. I would definitely come here for any foot problems.

I'm on my feet all day at my job and over the last few months developed callouses and they were hurting. I had tried all sorts of remedies, over the counter products, foot baths ect yet still was feeling pain. Dr. Utley examined and was able to quickly remove them, immediately noticed a difference. It was as if my feet were healed by angels, no pain and it's so much better can now tap dance if I want. An excellent podiatrist, words cannot fully express my gratitude, thank you.

I had a horrible experience. Communication when it comes to billing and the health of my child we’re not on point. I would not recommend this place to hard working families. Life is hard enough, you shouldn’t have to deal with medical professionals that tell you one thing and do another. I shouldn’t have to question how and why I’m being billed. It should be explained to me at the time of service, not after I call and and to talk to an office manager. I’m so upset. You find a great doctor and he has a horrible staff. Ugghhh.
