I had an ablation yesterday at Nevada Heart and Vascular Optum Surgery Center
First off, beautiful facility
Very personal care in comparison to a hospital
Now let’s talk about staff
Laura,Kayla, Alex, Jennifer and Bree are extraordinary
Friendly, gentle, caring and extremely good at their job
And Dr Gururaj was engaging, informative and I felt very comfortable although we had just met
There’s one person I didn’t get to meet and that’s Lisa
She eased my nerves during our phone calls as I was unfamiliar with Dr Gururaj, telling me a bit about his credentials and experience with this procedure
She answered all my questions and made me feel he’s the right Dr for me
One day maybe we’ll meet Lisa, in the mean time all of you at this facility please continue being the kindness people need in these circumstances

Dr. Gururaj is very personable and listened to what is going on with my son. Dr Gururaj is wonderful! He has been my and my husband's cardiologist for many years and is very kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional! Cannot recommend him enough! The Buffalo office is conveniently located for us, tho the parking is challenging at times. Worth the parking inconvenience to see Dr Gururaj!

I’ve been with Dr. Gururaj for 5 years now. He is by far the best heart doc I’ve met thus far, and I’ve seen a few different ones. He listens and is very proactive about the way he addresses his patient’s concerns. I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Great bedside manner, you never feel rushed and he isn’t afraid to take on anything you bring to his attention. My mom sees him as well after being told by another cardiologist that she can’t have a procedure due to her COPD. A procedure quite necessary to ensure she won’t have a heart attack based on her imaging results. My mom carried around the weight of all the unknown outcomes on her horizon due to that cardiologists fear of working with my mom’s COPD. Dr. Gururaj not only had ample confidence about safely doing the necessary procedure, but he took the time to help my mom feel reassured and comfortable with the tests and procedure. Thank goodness all her news was good news. He’s just such an exceptional heart hero. I’m so grateful to have found him for myself and my mother.

Different now, doctor doesn't take time. Was admitted at the hospital last month due to shortness of breath and on and off palpitations, no one visited or came to explain what is happening with me. Got discharge from mountain view hospital hanging with no explanations on what my condition is.

I highly recommend Dr. Gururaj . He is an extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and caring physician. From the beginning, I have felt confident that I am in very good hands. He takes the time to answer my questions, explains things clearly, and is always pleasant and attentive during my visits.
Communication between appointments has also been very good, and questions or concerns sent through the patient portal are addressed promptly. I have referred several friends to Dr. Gururaj, and they have also had very positive experiences with him.
I’m very grateful for the care I have received and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate EP cardiologist.
