Came for a 2pm appointment as a new patient. When I was scheduled for 2 they never said they were closed from 1-2. Saw multiple other patients try to enter the office with the door locked I exited the vehicle I sat in for 15 minutes prior (early) and then exited at 201 pm exactly door was still locked got back in to leave and call their office and was told at around 203 pm they would be unlocking the door now. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I am shocked any manager of a Drs office of all places would be so careless

TLDR: Poor customer service

The 0 star rating is regarding the office staff. I have been going to this office for 3 years. Some time within the last couple of years the office staff was changed wholesale. It is like the office positions have been outsourced. Prior to this change the staff had been friendly, helpful, good at what they did, and generally customer focused.

I went to an appointment today that had been scheduled by the office staff 6-months ago. I had noted on my calendar a time of 8:30 for the appointment. This appointment was to have blood drawn. After I complained about waiting for 45-minutes I was told my appointment was for 9:20. That would have been nice to have been told when I checked in at 8:15 - I could have found something better to do with the extra time than sit in a doctor's waiting room. This is the 1st example of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Since I have a follow up appointment already scheduled for a week later, I thought I should check what time they had for that appointment. It was also a different time than what I had on my calendar.

When I got home I checked the appointment card I had received 6-months ago (which had been filled out the staff person setting up the appointment) and sure enough the times I had on my calendar were the exact times that were written on the appointment card. I called the office to explain what the appointment card said and to clarify the time my next appointment. I understand that everyone makes mistakes from time to time. However, this is where the 2nd example of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE comes in. The person I spoke to was the same person that had set up the appointment is question. They did not express even a token sense of ownership, or a token apology for their mistake or wasting a client's time.

Unfortunately, from some of the other recent reviews I have read, the office staff are really casting a bad image of what is otherwise a good option for medical treatment.

I think Dr. Badar is an amazing doctor BUT i simply can not get a hold of the office. I probably called about 10 times this month and even left 2 messages and no one calls me back. I have to change my PCP because I cannot make an appt. which is super sad that a great doctor has such careless staff that do not support him.

This office is pathetic. They are always behind and blame someone else. To make someone wait 30 plus minutes for a simple appointment is unacceptable. The fact that you are understaffed is unacceptable. So is walking away from a customer at the counter when I asked a question. The attitudes are horrible here. I have to literally take a whole PTO day off work just for a simple appointment. I’m done with this office. Dr Anwar please hire people who care at the front desk and understand that most of your patients have jobs they have to get back to. Maybe stop double booking your appointments?

This doctor who is associated with Humana was assigned to me as my primary care provider. However, he is not willing to accept HMO insurance even though he is on the HMO Network, yet he refused to accept it. I had to wait for several months to be able to make an appointment with him. Unfortunately, I was rudely and unceremoniously dumped by his assistant, Jasmine, before I could see him. Now, I have to find another primary care provider and wait for several more months to get an appointment for an urgent medical condition. If I could give zero stars, I would.

It’s really sad when you call the office to ask for a prescription. When changing a new health insurance company. The receptionist was rude and did not answer the question. Wanted to say that I would be no longer a patient because of the insurance change. When my question was if they could do a prescription to the new insurance. She wanted to be confrontational with me and would not listen to what I had to say. Very sad customer service.

SO GLAD IT IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!! That old out dated Doctor needs to quit or retire. He has old info, he does not keep up with the science or the field he is in. He never listens to your issues or want to address them or do test for confirmation. He always insist he knows what he is doing. I ended up treating all my illnesses that he could not help with a BETTER and NEWLY EDUCATED DOCTOR. Also they never answer the phone! No matter what day or time! Don't Believe the FAKE positive reviews. Look at some of them, the people ( probably his friends or family creating accounts to make a review) these people leave these amazing reviews have doen like 2 or 4 reviews, yea not Valid or credible.

Excellent MD. Tells it like it is. Not necessarily what you want to hear, but definitely what you need to hear. I honestly believe he treats patients from a WHATS BEST FOR THEM perspective time. Very thorough & saved my life when having a significant cardiac event. Thank you to him & his team.

Dr Anwar has been my doctor for years, I don’t always make an appointment but even when I don't they accommodate my walk in. He’s always been great at taking care of my health issues or referring me to a specialist. If you need a local primary doctor, I’d recommend Dr Anwar.

Dr. Anwar is very practical and professional. His office staff are always friendly and helpful. If I ever have an issue with insurance or prescription, Jasmine, Sheila, and the other girls are always helpful and nice.

This office also allows walk-in patients without appointments, so it's convenient if you don't have a family doctor in town, visit this office, and get a new Dr.

My family has been under Dr Badar's care for over a year now.
Pros: professionalism and competence.
The clinic staff are helpful. Getting appointments to see Dr Badar in emergencies is a breeze. Last week, my husband was put on treatment that would cost over 2k/month. The clinic gave us 1 month's worth of free meds without qualms.
Some days though, a smile from over the counter would greatly uplift a patient's day but well, we all have bad days....

Dr. Badar's staff is extremely incompetent and difficult to work with. Trying to contact dr. Badar is really frustrating. When I did get a appointment, I waited about an hour and an a half after the time I arrived. He was unsympathetic to my condition and referred me to a terrible specialist who had a 2 star Yelp review.

I absolutely adore Dr Anwar, infact my husband and daughter love him too! The Staff is also an Awesome group of gals that always takes good care of you as family too. I have been a patient of Dr Anwar's since 2005, and he has always been a wonderful Physician. The clinic squeezed me into the doctor's schedule yesterday as I was having this excruciating gout pain on my right knee and could barely walk. Doctor prescribed an anti-swelling/anti-pain med and after just 3 doses yesterday and this morning, the problem has all but disappeared. Thank you, Dr. Anwar - you are a miracle worker!

Dr. Badar is a great doctor, very friendly and always seems to generally care. He takes time to listen to your concerns, asks a lot of questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. He also seems to know what he's doing, has always been very helpful to me. His office staff are all very friendly and in fact have remembered me by name even though I hadn't been in the office for over a year. The office is clean and you can always get a same day appointment (though you may wait a bit longer). I hope they keep all this up because it is very hard to find great doctors and staff here in Vegas/ Henderson!

Dr. Anwar's is very caring and thorough. I have been a patient for over ten years. His staff is very friendly and always accommodate me when I have migraines by fitting me in early in the morning for injections that ease the pain and nausea. first off, there is NEVER anyone at the front desk..which is absolutely absurd...second the office personal leaves a lot to be desired. They loose things, forget to send specimens away, and who knows what else !! The doctor should know what is going on. They would be fired...I would hope..
