Both my daughter and I got appointments the very next day after I made them and had a very pleasant experience. The doctor knows his shit and is very knowledgeable. For over 8 years I have been a proud patient of Dr. Rhett Dadej. Being in the northwest part of the valley seeking out may medical professional can be daunting or even intimidating at times.

However, if anyone is looking for a Doctor of Optometry, and a very friendly staff. And a seamless eye exam process please look no further than “Eye Care Services” Centennial.

When I picked up my 1st pair of lenses, they lacked the photochromic/transition effect, which I requested on my initial visit. I had to wait yet another two weeks for the 2nd pair to arrive. The 2nd pair arrived, and they had the photochromic/transition effect, which was great. I was given the 1st pair of lenses as well, and I was on my way.

After wearing them for a couple of days, I started to notice some issues. So, I went back to address them and was met with a defensive and dismissive Dr. Rhett Dadej.

The first thing I noticed was that the 2nd pair of lenses were poorly cut, as I could see a chromatic abrasion effect on the edges of the lenses, and the glasses would make a rattling noise when shaken something that the glasses did not do with the 1st pair of lenses. This was dismissed by Dr. Rhett Dadej as an issue with the frames, even though the issue was not there with the 1st pair of lenses, so it could not have been the frames.

The 2nd pair of lenses did not appear to have any blue light filtering; this was dismissed as false because, according to Dr. Rhett Dadej, the rainbow reflection of the AR coating is a sign of the blue light filtering. But the 1st pair of lenses has that same rainbow reflection and a slight yellow tint to them, which I was under the impression was the blue light filtering, as every single one of my previous pairs of blue light filtering glasses has that same yellow tint to them, which the 2nd pair of lenses did not have.

The 2nd pair of lenses also did not have the same prescription that was requested and was provided to the 1st pair of lenses I received. I had a traumatic eye injury in my childhood that severely damaged my left eye, making my vision almost nonexistent so I requested to have the left lens prescription be the same as the right to prevent further distortion to my face.

Once again, this was dismissed by Dr. Rhett Dadej, and in fact, Dr. Rhett Dadej insisted that the mistake was on my part for not making it clear that I wanted both lenses to be the same, even though ONCE AGAIN I had specified on my initial appointment that I wanted both lenses to have the same prescriptions, and I know he heard me because his response was, " That shouldn't be a problem ", and it wasn't a problem because ONCE AGAIN my 1st pair of lenses both had the same prescription, just simply lacked the photochromic/transition effect.

But according to Dr. Rhett Dadej, that did not happen, and so either Dr. Rhett Dadej is not attentive to his customers, or Dr. Rhett Dadej had the 2nd set of lenses slap dashed and hoped I would not notice the lack of quality and just focus on the fact that the transition was added.

Unfortunately for Dr. Rhett Dadej I am not fully blind from my left eye, and I can in fact see and tell that there is a difference. I paid for two lenses, not a monocle. A mistake on the opticians' part is not my mistake.

There seems to be a lack of consistency with the service at Dr. Rhett Dadej Eye Care Services, so I do hope your experience is better than mine. If I could give only the rest of the staff 5 stars, I would. They were all very lovely, each and every visit I had to make.

How often do you get the chance to walk in as a new patient and find not only value-added services you weren't aware of but find a doctor you like, immediately trust and will happily rave about to all who will listen?! I hadn't been to an eye doctor since 1988...I know, no need to tell me. I had an issue and feared the worst. Not only did the staff treat me with the utmost respect and care, Dr. Dadej did as well...in spades. After an efficient but thorough exam by both staff and Doctor Dadej, I was told my issue was not only correctable but easily so. I was in and out with a referral in no time. I have had a devil of a time finding what I believe to be even competent medical staffs in Las Vegas since moving here seven years ago. This was by FAR my best experience and I can't say enough about Eye Care Services.

Oh, and the value-add service I mentioned earlier? They do eyeglass repair as well. They didn't have the specialty part I needed, but I knew it was a long shot. The staff did their best and provided other options for repair since they weren't able to assist. Who does that anymore?!

My entire family has been patients of Dr. D for 13 years. We've always had nothing but positive experiences everytime we've visited this office, up until they hired Karen. She is very unprofessional and doesn't have much knowledge of pricing and insurance. I took my daughter (who is covered under my insurance) for contact lenses and Karen attempted to help us. She told my daughter (while I was present) that she could do a year supply of color contacts with the insurance and then if she would like she could chose to order clear with the remainder of the benefit and just pay the additional. My daughter chose not to do the clear and stick with the year supply of colors. When my daughter realized that it was only a 6 month supply of colors that she was given, she asked me to call and find out why that was. I called and asked for Delisha, as she is more experienced and knowledgeable than most in their office. I was transferred to Karen, I started to explain the situation to Karen and she seemed to recall but then backtracked on her comments saying that each box of colors were $91 each and that our out of pocket would have been 164 dollars, to which I responded with I really don't understand when that's not at all what we were told when we were there, I said I'm sorry this is why I prefer to deal with Delisha because you also tried to charge me more for my other family members glasses with the insurance until Delisha gave you clarification. She then got upset and proceeded to say that she was the owners girlfriend so speaking with Delisha was not going to help in this matter. I told her throwing out there that she was the owners girlfriend was irrelevant to why I was calling. She then told me I was rude for saying that. I then told her it seems clear that she's not too familiar with pricing due to her contact supply being ordered incorrectly. I said I'd rather just speak with Dr. D, she said with a very irritated tone, he's busy and the Dr isn't going to talk with you about pricing like I said I'm the owners girlfriend. Then proceeded to tell me I was no longer welcome at this office. Interesting to know though, she spoke with my daughter after and told her if she were interested in ordering the extra 2 boxes of color contacts she would do so for 50 something dollars per box they only charge 91 per box to insurance companies. To anyone considering visiting this office good luck dealing with Karen. If you inquire about anything she tries to charge you she'll just let you know that "she's the owners girlfriend ". Bad business move hiring someone you date especially if they're under qualified.

In response to the response from the owner, it's obvious since Karen did state that she IS your girlfriend that the rudeness I dealt with is "alleged ". My family and I will NOT be returning to your establishment and FYI Karen does not know how to much of anything and will only bring your business down. You should have a conversation with her and let her know how unprofessional it is to bring up her relationship and how it pertains to her position.

I sent this email to Dr. Rhett Dadej, but never received a response regarding how my mother was treated at their facility.

My mother had an appointment with your office a couple of weeks ago, and she had asked me to pick her up, as she couldn't drive herself at the time. She was done early and called me to tell me she was done. She had an 11:30am appointment and showed up on time.

My mother is elderly and has had surgery on her ankle. She, at the time, could barely walk let alone stand for a long period of time without severe pain. I was surprised when I drove up to find her standing outside the building. I asked her why she was waiting in the heat and standing up, and she informed me that your office staff kicked her out of the office, so they could go to lunch. I was appalled that she was asked to leave and escorted out the building without regard to the heat outside, her age, her physical health, nor to provide a chair or something to sit down on until someone came to pick her up. I'm thankful that I was able to leave my house right away and pick her up, but what if I hadn't? Would they have let her stand outside for 30-45 minutes? I find this very thoughtless and unsympathetic by your staff to lock someone out of the office for their convenience. If they want uninterrupted lunch time, I would ask that they not schedule clients when it runs into their lunch break.

I hope they do not treat other people that way. I do not know if you were aware or not, but this is not a way to treat a customer.

They never let you know when your glasses are in. I have to call periodically and hope they are there. Not once, not twice, but several times. Usually a front office notifies you when A.) Your insurance is approved and B.) When your glasses are ready for pick up. I get neither of following updates. I have to take it into my own hands to call and ask if my glasses are there and usually get an," Oh yeah, they're here." like it's no big deal. Smh.

It wasn't my one and only time. Notice I spoke of the numerous times I've gone.
Edit: not sure why you're debating something that happened 3 years ago. Back then, the office staff called and informed patients. Please own up to mistakes and stop trying to put down the customers who give you business... Listen and learn. Best regards.

Reeeeally wish they had the hour they are closed listed within their Google hours of operation. I would much rather sit at home than in the parking lot 😕

EDIT: your office hours have updated on Google since I informed the staff of the wrong hours posted on Google maps AND your website this morning, the hours on the website are still wrong, here's a Screenshot to prove it. Don't try to shame your customers for coming early and being upset about it when you clearly had a clerical error on your end.

The whole process was quick and easy. No issues.

Update: Went back this weekend and was in and out in 45 minutes with my checkup done, frames picked, and glasses ordered. What more can you ask for?

Also, if anyone is concerned about quality, I've had the same pair of Spy glasses for 2 years and Oakley prescription sunglasses for 1 year and have had no issues with the quality of either.

3 years now and I've never had an issue. Look forward to bringing my daughter soon.

The staff was nice. I was in & out in about 30 minutes. I was notified asap when my glasses were ready. I've been going to this Eyecare doctor for 6 years+ and never had a problem. 👍👍

I have been here a few times, called made appt for Sat 07/01 and then they call me today saying they need to cancel cause of the holiday, which is the following Tuesday. I guess that's the way they want to run a business. Don't care who they put out as long as they get there extra days off. Also on website only puts good reviews.

Everything was great until I ordered contacts through my pharmacy. They denied my order verification because it wasn't the brand the doctor SUGGESTED. While in office they offered me 2 brands to choose from. I asked their opinion and he suggested the more expensive out of the 2 (of course lol). I found a better deal through my pharmacy and bought through them instead. The require that my order be approved by my optometrist. Why? I have no idea, but whatever no biggie. I find out the next day it's been denied. They explain why and I call my Drs office. They give me their reason why and I'm annoyed. I'm trying to avoid my money getting tied up AND I really want this deal they have going. I explain my plight and I'm told they will talk to the doctor and get it handled. They call back and I'm told it's all handled. They spoke to the dr and my pharmacy and my order is ok. YAY!
Except...I called the pharmacy today to check the status. It was never fixed. Its still cancelled. I can reorder sure. But I shouldn't have to. I was never prescribed that particular brand. Even still why does it matter what brand I choose to buy...if I selected out of the 2 I was presented by them? I now get to wait 3 days for the money to clear with my bank. And if I do reorder I get to wait 7-10business days to receive them. Safe to say I'll be returning back to Insight EyeCare off of 215 and russel. I've had no complaints with them before. I'll just have to commute.

I'm glad you are aware of the law. However. I ordered from the 2 brands your office suggested. Not whatever I wanted. Or I would've picked a completely different brand with a better deal. But yes I'm happy your office was able to fix it. Hopefully when I attempt to order again there will be no confusion.

I was running out of contacts and I got a next-day appointment with Dr. Dadej. I was seen quickly and everyone in the office was friendly and knowledgeable. As I was running out of contacts, I didn't have boxes to bring in to show my old measurements. They took new ones and we did the vision screening. Dr. Dadej is very good at what he does--he was able to explain and account for an issue with getting the proper prescription which has plagued me for years. No other eye doctor has done this! Also, I noticed when I went to fill my contact prescription that he had given me the smaller size. When they came, they fit even better than ever! I'd been wearing the wrong contact size for 10+ years. I'm so grateful I found this practice.

Great experience! I called on a Wednesday and was able to get in on the next Saturday.The lady at the front desk was very friendly. After filling out the paperwork we were called back shortly after that with no wait which I really appreciate. Dr. Dadej was amazing with my son and doing his eye exam, and he explained everything in detail. The assistant said the glasses would be ready in 7-10 days and his glasses ended up arriving 6 days after his appointment. Everything was great from the beginning and we will definitely be back!

Got 6 months worth of contacts and they are not even the right prescription. I can't even see very far when I have them in and they hurt and burn my eyes causing a massive migraine. I tried to return them to either get my money back (I only use two pairs, so I have 4 left) or get a better prescription but it cost me more money.

I'm under Elizabeth Chandler. I just got off the phone with you guys today.

I agree with the last review COMPLETELY!!!...only came here through my insurance. My frame broke after 4 months. Got the same exact run around. Even worse is the snobby attitude I recieved....Thank god my wifes attitude rubbed off me..cause i was ready to rip them a new A-hole. STAY AWAY!!! I am also contacting my insurance company to let them the poor people they choose to indorse.

RIP OFF!!! Avoid if possible. Bought a pair of glasses for my 17 year old daughter and within on week the first time she cleaned them they broke. They are very thick black plastic sturdy frames and should not have broken while cleaning. I felt like the lenses were to tight and that is what caused the break. After getting the run around from the receptionist for two weeks telling me that Dr. Dadaj was too busy to talk to me, I finally just went down to the office. I asked him if he would replace the frames. I was told that I would have to pay for new frames. I told him that the frames were defective and that I didn't think it was right. He said there was nothing he could do for me.
