Been seeing Dr. Mariafe for years and she has been great to me. Haven’t had the desire to see anyone else because I feel seen here. I accidentally showed up a week earlier for my appointment and they accommodated me! I really appreciate that they changed my appointment for me on the spot

I've been seeing Dr Ferrimond for over a year and finally feel almost like myself. The only complaint that I have is getting my prescription for my Ambien and it's the pharmacy, the prescription goes out later than I need them. I've had to wait days before I get a refill. I usually email Melody and she takes care of it for me. She makes me feel comfortable and is a positive for this practice.

Very nice and friendly staff, not busy at all. However wait times to be seen are out of this world 🌎. With no patients and an empty waiting room there is waitimes of 30 to 50 minutes

I’ve been with First Med for almost two years now, and my experience has been extremely frustrating. Dr. Fairmmond seems competent, but the office has made the process of getting and staying properly medicated unnecessarily difficult.

All of my appointments are telehealth, yet the assistant nurses, or whoever is responsible for relaying messages to the doctor, consistently fail to do so. They also struggle to set up appointments reliably, even though the process should be automated. On several occasions, I’ve gone months without seeing my doctor. Their availability is very limited, and if you miss an appointment, you can expect to wait over a month before seeing the doctor again.

Multiple times they have failed to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. Nor do them responding to the pharmacy with any messages. eg:Refill

I’ve encountered several issues with this office, but one situation stands out. Recently, I went four months without an appointment because I missed one, and they hadn’t set up the next one in advance. During this time, I was having problems getting the proper dosage of an extended-release medication. Despite calling multiple times and asking the assistant nurses to inform my doctor that I was only receiving 300 mg instead of the prescribed 450 mg, nothing was done. I resorted to cutting the pills to meet the required dosage, only to discover later during an appointment that you cannot do that with extended-release medication. This means I was on the wrong dosage for over four months, despite my efforts to get it corrected.

I feel like I’ve been continuously sabotaged in my efforts to receive proper care. I already struggle with maintaining responsibility and following up on issues like medication adjustments, and this office has not made it any easier. I’ve always asked them to check the notes because I’ve suspected that my messages were not being delivered properly.

When I find a better option, I will be leaving this practice, and I absolutely cannot recommend it. You will end up wasting a lot of time, even if you’re doing everything right on your end.

I enjoy coming to this clinic. Everyone is so friendly and nice. The wait times are never long and they always address my needs. Each provider takes their time with me and listens to what’s actually going on for a proper assessment and diagnosis. Thank you, FirstMed!

If it weren't for this medical center, i do not know where I'd be. They have saved my life in more ways than one. Excellent service. They will help you in so many ways, it's a miracle.
If you're someone that is looking for an organization to donate to, First Med is it.
I just want to say thank you to them for all they have done for me. ❤
Update: Although I am still very grateful for First Med and their services, they MUST fix the issue with the phone system. Every time I call now, current date is 3/26/24, it hangs up. I can no longer get someone on the phone.

if you dont mind begging for your meds and kissing a ** its a great place to go. They love tonfeel in control of your life though and you pay dearly for missed appointments, they love if you miss and they can be in charge of weather you feel sick as a dog or normal, its kinda like playing god i guess:)

Well I can easily say I loved this place! Best doctor ever she really cares! It's a one stop shop for a doctor, blood work and exam for females lol. She will take good care of you. Dr. mea guerra! Sorry I spelled it wrong but ask for her and say Alesha sent u. They take Medicaid and she will do what ever it is u need. Need a referral no problem need a counselor they too have it. I'm moving to Utah. I'll miss her. My daughter goes here plz take good care of her. Bye

I want to let everyone know that Dr. Brieland is a great man and doctor. But his assistant Melody does not do her job. This is the second time I have had a problem with her. Yesterday morning she was supposed to send in my prescription,yet she still has not done it. The first time she was supposed to send a letter from Dr. Brieland, and I had to wait 2 and a half weeks for it. If she doesn't want her job the maybe she shouldn't have it. Since she can't do it right. The other staff is great expt for the social services office. They lie to your face.

My families experience with FirstMed is good so far. My dad is a widower and has not had care since he came to the United States so he does not take good care of himself. He just hit 50 and after losing my mom I became extremely concerned for his health. Getting an appointment for the sliding scale was a ways out, along with first Dr. visit, but each time I called everyone was extremely great over the phone. Once my dad and I arrived to the sliding fee appointment, everyone in the office was friendly and professional. His visit with the Nurse Practitioner went amazing too. She did ALL of the checks my doctor does for me. She spent time with my dad and I and did not seem to rush. Made me feel like this was a place I could trust for his health and like he was not shrugged off. Thank you guys for the experience so far and also, for being conscious of the struggles of the uninsured. This place and the front office, along with the call center has been great. And it’s SUPER clean!

Monique Cox was the worst therapist I could ever ask for ! She didn’t help with my eating disorder at all ! She was rude and mainly wanted money . She also was terrible at marriage counseling as well . Basically cost me my marriage as well . I will regret this for the rest of my life going to this place . It did nothing but harm to me.

I have never had a worse experience with a medical establishment in my life. STAY away from them! You don't need to deal with what I've went through. Everyone there, including the higher ups, are incompetent. Even after raising several complaints to the Director of Human resources and the VP of Compliance, the issues were never resolved. Every time I had a visit it was necessary to follow up with a complaint. They either didn't send in my medication, claimed the new medication I'd just been prescribed wasn't on the list, made appointments for me that they never scheduled, left me hanging in a huge mess when I was withdrawing from medications they were taking me off of and weren't returning my messages, so I had to go to urgent care for help instead. All their mistakes with my medication resulted in me being dangerously unmedicated for almost a month, they don't send in the correct blood tests, they don't send new prescriptions into your pharmacy at all... the list goes on and on. Please stay away from them and save yourself unnecessary risk and conflict! It's a shame they are a non-profit, and I think they should lose their non-profit status immediately.

I don't think any of the doctors truly care about the patients or have the ability to help. I I wasted over a year trying to get help from multiple doctors who all had the same nonchalant attitude. Every one works for a paycheck but I think they ONLY work for a paycheck. My insurance covers everything but I'm looking for doctors who do the job because they love to help people not because they love the numbers on a check. One doctor actually said she'd rather be home watching Netflix. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

I went to get my blood work done at this place twice, because the guy the first time wiggled the needle in my vein & I literally about passed out. Then I obviously learned this time about coming again & here he goes & obviously doesn't know how to draw blood. Super aggravated especially after I took out all this time having to fast both times for this & some more things.
