I’ll start off by saying my daughter has been seen by Dr Herman at Las Vegas Skin and Cancer for approximately 6 years. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and very good at what he does. The nurses are also very good!!
On the flip side, his office staff is HORRENDOUS to say the least!! In my 6 years of dealing with Las Vegas Skin and Cancer, appointments have been cancelled without notification, practice location has changed without notification, billing and insurance documents have been incorrect, which took months to iron out. Getting someone on the phone to help with scheduling or medication refills is nearly impossible! In my opinion, my daughter has suffered many avoidable sinus infections due to lack of communication/care by this practice! I have been hung up on multiple occasion after waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes. I have been left on hold in excess of 30 minutes on multiple occasions. I have been accused of lying about an appointment that was scheduled because staff didn’t see it on their end, even with an appointment card written out by their staff in hand. I have also asked to speak to a supervisor on Jan 27, 2026 because the person I was dealing with was condescending and raising her voice at me. After being placed on hold for over 15 minutes, I was told that the supervisor wasn’t available but I as assured I would receive a call back. I’m still waiting for a call back and it’s been 2 weeks today. Needless to say, I will be transferring to a new practice. I will also be recommending that my husband and his legal assistant, who are both patients of Dr. Herman, transfer their care as well.

I love Dr.Herman, but every single time I go to my appointment I’m waiting OVER an hour!!! The staff at the front desk could have given a heads up but didn’t. I get a text saying he’s running late, after I’ve been here for an hour! Not sure if this is an overbooking issue or what. But I shouldn’t have to spend HOURS waiting without a heads up.

This is review is solely reflects the front desk of Dr Herman. It's usually average of 40 minutes wait which I do not understand if an appointment was made. I hope the office manager can check what is going on, with my last 2 visits I have waited for 40 minutes and when I ask how much time and was told another 30-35 minutes longer..

I had a terrible experience with him and his staff. They were unorganized and unresponsive to me and my insurance company. They basically lied to me for 6 months. I switched to another doctor and the new doctor got it done asap.

Dr Herman seems pretty good but his staff never follows up on anything. Every time he prescribed a course of action, his staff would not submit to the insurance for approval and nothing ever happened. We left 19 messages for return calls and received only 1 call back through the years my wife has been with him. His staff makes him nearly unusable as a Doctor.

I'm beyond disappointed in the "care" I've received so far for my daughter. She had simple lab work done over a month ago. I was told they'd let me know the results and prescribe medication if warranted. I was told to schedule a follow-up about a month out so they could see if there was improvement from the possible medication if it was prescribed. No one ever called me to give me any results or plan of care after her visit.

I called and called (it's ridiculous trying to get ahold of the actual office) and was able to reach the medical assistant finally. He told me no results had been posted yet, THREE weeks after her test. He told ME to call the lab, as if I had any idea where I was supposed to call?? Then he said he could also call and would then call me back that day with what they said. He never called. I gave the guy over a week to reach out. I just called today and was told that he can't give out results over the phone, they never give results over the phone, I'll have to come in, etc. I said that I had just spoken to him last week and that he never mentioned that and that in fact, he himself told me he would call me and let me know what was going on. He was completely uninterested, told me he'd let Dr. Herman know I called, but it was up to him IF he FELT like calling me back. I did unfortunately get frustrated, but he just didn't care one bit. He said he can't make Dr. Herman do anything. I didn't want him to "make" him do anything! I just want my daughter's lab results so that we can get a prescription if we need it! I was specifically told to schedule my follow-up at least a month out so that it COULD be treated and that we could see if her treatment was HELPING! I told him that if Dr. Herman doesn't bother to call, then I won't be waiting around three more weeks for my follow-up that isn't even a follow-up, just a "here's what the test said six weeks ago that could've been a phone call." I said I'd cancel the appointment and find another allergist if I needed to because of them withholding information for no reason. He just said okay and HUNG UP ON ME. Absolute trash.

Dr. Herman is AMAZING!!!! He really took the time to explain to me what he thought was going on with the potential allergies I am experiencing. I had a bad experience at another office with a different doctor so I am very thankful Dr. Herman made up for that. He really is fantastic, has a great personality and knows what he is talking about.

I usually see Dr. Herman at the Stephanie location. My allergy shot was supposed to be done this week. However the Stephanie location was not available for some reason this week so they scheduled me at the Rancho location. I should have just made my appointment for the following week at the Stephanie location. However, I have severe allergies and when I don't get my shot on time I end up with a sinus infection. Every time I go to the Rancho location there is a problem. They are severely mismanaged. I went for my appointment and they came out to tell me they didn't have my zolair it wasn't sent over. You would think they would check on that a day or two ahead, but no. I drove from my home which is close to Sam's town to their office on Rancho just to be told they couldn't give me my shot. I asked if they could use a sample on me. She said they don't get samples of zolair. I know that is not true as they have done that for me before at the other location when my medicine wasn't sent on time. Every time I visit this location there is a problem. When I was going there every week for immunosuppressant shots they often said I didn't have an appointment when I did. Always something there. Not to mention, they are extremely rude. I love Dr. Herman but his staff at this location should be revamped! So I am sorry to say I give 1 star only because I can't give A 0.

I waited 3 months to be see Dr Herman with a visible condition on my hands only to wait 1 hour after my appointment time to see the Dr. The Dr spent max 5 minutes with me without even really looking at my hands and ran out before I could have my questions answered. His nurse was actually the one that asked a list of questions that the dr could “review” before he came in and it seemed that the doctor disregarded anything I told the nurse. He then sent me for blood tests and and when the results came in, he responded shortly to my email about the red flags of my blood panel only then having to wait 2 months to see him again. He then CANCELLED my appointment! Then I had to wait another month to get another appointment. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this horrible place to a doctor that could care less about his patients. Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

The staff at the Rancho location are very friendly. I love Dr. Herman, he is very professional, takes his time to listen and knows all about my care and what needs to be taken care of as soon as he comes into the room. I never feel rushed and he always answers my questions and concerns.

I have several specialists that I have to see and Dr. Herman is one of the best.

Very unprofessional. My daughter got blood work first week January 2025 for allergy food. We asked for the results and finally sent an email just with the copy of lab test results april 11 but we dont understand the results. Obviosly this office dont care patients

I can walk to my car, and I can shop in a store without having my body attack itself-and Dr. Herman read me like a book, gave me a plan, and in just 2 weeks I’ve made more progress- I’m sobbing as I write this.

I have been seeing Dr. Herman for several years now. I see him once a month & receive allergy shots every week.
Dr. Herman is always very interested in how I am doing, not only in a medical sense but personal as well, making sure that when I go on vacation, especially out of country, that I am covered.

After waiting 3 months for an appointment, went in for my first appointment today. Got there early. Waited FORTY minutes PAST my appointment time. Went up to the receptionist and asked how behind the doctor is. She says at least 20 more minutes. I say I'm leaving. She says "have a nice day" NO attempt to reschedule, no I'm sorry, nothing. Rude. I then call to reschedule and am told I cannot get in for 3 months.
I have no idea how the doctor is, but based on the scheduling and front desk, I'm disgusted. People have jobs and responsibilities and schedules of their own. . 1 hour past appt time not even being in a room yet is not okay. Don't make bad scheduling the patients problem.

Everyone from check in, throughout my test, Dr Herman and my checkout was efficient, friendly & thorough. The MA who performed the scratch test gets an extra star for her taking extra time to explain all the results as well as her taking concern for my comfort. (I have a huge back tattoo so she had to be creative in placement of needles).

Dr. Hermann is the 7th Dr. I have seen about my skin condition and has basically helped cure me since April. I have had skin condition since February 2015 and no one could help me. During my entire adult life I've suffered from adult acne and occasional rashes when it's too hot (I never had acne when I was teenager) needless to say it wasn't fun but I thought that was life. I went to see Dr Herman when I got the worse rash of my life in my underarms and he made it go away in a few weeks (it was really really bad).
For 1.5 years the doctor has told my chin acne is due to a food allergy (I wasn't convinced at all this was the case) and we had blood work done but nothing came up, he finally got my skin to a less angry state where he could do a scratch test and SURPRISE I was allergic to things I eat everyday and have eaten for almost all my adult life (ie. coffee)

If you need a good doctor, knowledgeable, kind and that cares about you and your problems, Dr Herman is your guy .. I have nothing but great things to say about him, he literally has saved my skin. He's the only doctor who pointed this out, not even the dermatologists that I've gone to (who only made things worse) thought about this... I am forever thankful to Dr Herman.

My chronic hives flared up during a recent trip to Las Vegas. Luckily, the universe sent me to Dr. Herman. He listened to the past year of issues with this very irritating condition and prescribed the needed medication. I am healing now, and will take his advice to my Allergist here in Louisiana. Dr. Kabins is an amazing doctor, it is rare to find such an experienced and skilled doctor that has not become jaded. Dr. Kabins truly listens and cares about each patient. I sent my son to see him on Monday who has Asperger's and has been in pain for several years and he is only 24, he has seen many doctors and none would listen believing it was all in his head. My son now struggles trusting doctors, but he came home and raved about Dr. Kabins. He was so happy to realize someone listened and was going to help him. He told me how Dr. Kabins told Britton about symptoms he would have as a result of his back issues. These were problems he kept to himself because so many doctors had made him feel like it was all in his head. Dr. Kabins made my son feel validated and hopeful.....and even helped with his depression that we have been struggling with for years. Thank you so much Dr. Kabins!!

Hes the first allergist thats actually trying to find the root of the problem and not just put me on steroids or xolair. Highly recommend
He believes in MCAS for anyone that suffers with this.
I have chronic urticaria and he's been super understanding.
The insurance didn't approve xolair update now 2024 now that I want to try it after years of trying to get answers.
Anyhow yhe company has some assistance program however, it's been weeks and nothing..I don't think this has to do with Frederick just cash grab companies xolair

The doctors are great. The only thing that makes you want to go to other providers is the phone system. You often have to wait 20-30 minutes just to speak to someone. Once you choose an option it will go into a loop and you can’t reach anyone. This needs to get fixed.
