Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by a smiling person at the desk, verified my appointment. Today I received the WORST TREATMENT I have ever had in a dentist's office. RUN, don't walk, AWAY from this business! The dentist has a terrible bedside manner, I told him my mouth was not numb yet, but he still proceeded with surgery, causing me utmost pain!! When I screamed from the pain he was causing me, the tall skinny brunette assistant said "Geez!" as if she was surprised my un - numbed gums were in pain when SHE didn't properly numb my gums!! Dr. Peterson is sloppy and left surgical cotton in my mouth which should have been removed. Dr. Peterson and his assistant were careless, unprofessional, and after surgery, Dr. Peterson failed to prescribe ANY PAIN MEDICATION!!! WORST DENTIST and Staff EVER!!!!!

Wouldn’t give me a quote over the phone. I showed up the day of my wisdom teeth extraction and was told I needed to pay almost $3,000 out of pocket. After going back and forth with one of the staff members, the bill suddenly dropped to $1,300. That didn’t sit right with me, so I got a second opinion from another dentist, and they quoted me only $160 for all 4 wisdom teeth!

Be careful and always get a second opinion. They’ll charge you whatever they think they can get away with if you let them.

It been a struggle finding a good dentist and staff that I could trust. I think I've found one. Dr Peterson is very nice and professional. He is about his business. Charged me a $1000 for a bridge that was paid by my insurance.Supposedly I had an upgrade. Which I did not Okay.Reported him to the dental board, received my check for a $1000. The bridge was put over teeth that needed root canal. He admitted it. Had to go to Endontist to drill through the bridge 3 times. Cost me more money. They would never answer the phone always went to a service Call center. Kept calling and leaving messages for a cleaning I never scheduled. I Left multiple messages with call service to take me off the list, took 6 months. Worst experience ever and still having pain with my bridge.

Though this was a far drive for us, we were very pleased with our experience. We had an urgent visit and luckily an oral surgeon was available immediately. Everything went very smoothly from the moment I walked in. I was greeted warmly, and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and efficient with the paperwork process.

After completing the paperwork, I was seated and only waited about five minutes before being called back. The nurse thoroughly explained everything and carefully confirmed what needed to be done, which made me feel very comfortable.

The doctor was exceptionally friendly and checked in with me throughout the entire procedure to make sure I was doing okay. The entire process was seamless, and I truly appreciated the follow-up phone call to ensure I was properly caring for my teeth afterward.

Grear work and cost. We only had one issue. We left your shop about 4/5 years ago because one of your front desk girls sold my daughter a bottle of $16 mouth assuring her she could take it on her plane home. Turns out that my daughter couldn't take it, so I brought. It back for a efund. Not sure why this dentist office has so many positive reviews to be honest. Went off of great reviews on Zoc Doc and was very disappointed. I’ve been to this office twice and both times they’ve not once touched my teeth. The first time they had issues with my insurance on their end and told me to reschedule. The second time they quoted myself and my husband grossly high and claimed we needed additional services we didn’t need. When we tried to just have a cleaning initially they continued to push. Each time I waited over an hour past my original appointment time. Super unprofessional and not helpful at all. Now they keep scheduling random upcoming appointments for myself and my husband despite the fact we never actually received a cleaning or work from them. They don’t answer their phone to correct/remove the appointments. I’d try somewhere else and save the headache.

My husband and I have been patients at Gental Dental (an Interdent Corp) for over 20 years. The office always ran like a well oiled machine and the employees were so kind and helpful. They were always on the ball when it came to coordinating benefits, scheduling, appt reminders, etc. Until 8 months ago when most of the staff resigned including Megan, the office manager/treatment coordinator. Since then its been a complete nightmare! They operated with no office manager or benefit coordinator. No one knew what they were doing and their performance was subpar, to say the least. Since then, I needed a bridge and the new girl Heidi (the receptionist I'm assuming) needed to coordinate benefits since we have double coverage. After waiting 2 weeks for her to figure it out, I actually had to call my insurance companies and do it for her! Not only that but her and the new office manager Selena DEMANDED I pay for the bridge even before I got it delivered! That was never the policy when the original staff was there. It got to a point where I dreaded talking to the office staff more than the dental work itself!
When I went in today to get my bridge delivered and to my DELIGHT I ran into Megan (the former office manager and treatment coordinator)! Megan was the most efficient and dedicated manager that they ever had, and she's a sweetheart. She knows everything there is to know about running a dental practice and does it WELL. I am so so glad to see her back! I can now rest easy knowing that will be treated with respect when we walk in the office and that our appointments will be scheduled in a timely manner and our treatments will be coordinated by the staff and not myself! P.S. Doctor Bradley Peterson has literally been the best dentist we've ever had!!! THANK YOU GENTAL DENTAL!

Here it is 1 1/2 yrs. later. I get a call letting me know that I have an outstanding balance. I was told that my partial was 100% covered because I have 2 dental insurances by the person whose job it is to handle insurance claims. I initially refused to get the partial because I didn't not have the money for it. I trusted what I was told and now I'm expected to pay for their mistake. The dentist is good but the staff is horrible. By the way, the employee ask patients to give good reviews and will stand beside the dental chair wanting you to do the review right then. They try to tell you what to write in the review and even offer to write it for you!!!!

Do not recommend!!! If the price on a procedure seems too expensive get a second opinion, it saved me over $20,000.00 on 1 procedure.

I’ve since been reexamined by another Periodontist and found that the procedure Gentle Dental wanted to do is not needed and my teeth and gums were not in as bad of shape as I was told.

Although I am scheduled for LANAP surgery, the cost is a lot less and this procedure will help all my teeth and gums not just a select few teeth.

I’ve only been here twice, maybe three times. Each time I waited 45 min before being taken to the back from my appointment time. Each time I was being upsold for things that were out of insurance coverage. The last two times I brought up concerns for tooth ache and was completely ignored and told to purchase other treatments that had nothing to do with my tooth ache. Ended up switching dentists and am a lot happier and was also told I didn’t need the recommended treatments gentle dental offered.

I used to dread going to the dentist, but Gentle Dental (Rancho) has completely changed my perspective. I now trust them not only with my oral health—but with my life. The entire staff genuinely cares about their patients, and it shows in every interaction. I truly appreciate the exceptional care I received and how thoroughly everything was explained to me. A special thank you to Dr. Lane for skillfully removing my complex 32A wisdom tooth—it was no easy task, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care and expertise. Shoutout to Iceland as well, who treated me with such warmth and compassion. I also want to commend the Office Manager for being both professional and incredibly kind. Always have a good experience with Gental Dental. Dr. Peterson is my favorite dentist. He's friendly and straight forward and lets you know what's going on and what you need done. He did my bridge about 5 years and it’s still going strong. I always get compliments on how nice my smile is, thanks to you guys!

After contacting me several times to come in for my cleaning when I get there, they try and sell me something that’s not included with my insurance and declined to give me a regular cleaning. That’s free with my insurance.

Got a plate made... ran out of insurance and then they stopped calling me.... would send a review to me instead of calling. Was busy with end of life care for my sister so no time to respond. So disappointed in this office. Will share my experience with everyone I know... btw... still don't have the plate I paid for.

I don’t usually write reviews for dentists. Mostly because, well… it’s the dentist. Not exactly a place I associate with glowing praise. But Gentle Dental Rancho deserves it.

First off—the front desk staff? Absolute rockstars. No attitude. No weird energy. Just super helpful people who got my insurance verified without turning it into a headache. (You know how rare that is?)

They got me back quickly for my exam, and this is where things really clicked. I wasn’t just handed a list of procedures with scary dollar signs next to them. They actually walked me through what I really needed—what was urgent, what could wait, and what was just… unnecessary. That second opinion gave me clarity I didn’t even know I was looking for.

The vibe in the chair? Chill. Informative. Zero pressure. And get this—I didn’t feel any pain. Not during the cleaning, not during the consult, not even in my wallet (shocking, I know). They really live up to the “Gentle” in Gentle Dental.

I left feeling taken care of—not sold to.
And honestly? That’s rare. Especially in healthcare.

If you're anxious about going to the dentist, give this place a shot. I’m glad I did.

Dr.Peterson And his staff are the greatest. I have been coming here for over 25 years and it has allways been the best service and so so Gental !!! Some times there is a little hiccup. Doctor peterson and his staff straightens out the situation immediately.
And he provides the utmost Gentle service . I really don't feel that I could find a better place. Since i've been going there for twenty five years.

Due to a long illness, I was unable to get back to the Dentist's office; but when I made my appointment date, I was greeted with smiles and a comfortable atmosphere (I really don't like going to the Dentist). I was relaxed and glad to be here.
The technician and the Dentist were friendly and very professional about explaining to me about what was happening and what I needed to get done with my teeth.
If you don't have a regular Dentist, I highly suggest "GENTLE DENTAL RANCHO".
