Went in for an eye exam. Had one concern that I had to pay for an additional test in cash for and did receive that test but nothing else. Was not given a new prescription nor an itemized receipt of the full exam that was called comprehensive but included no actual exam. I saw the doctor for less than 2 min and was told I was just getting old with no suggestions or help. I requested the statement and new perscription so that I can purchase new glasses but am just being billed for full amount for 'comprehensive ' exam because they say my insurance paid nothing for it.

I had my eyes checked by Dr. Steed about 6 months ago. I took my prescription to a different place to be filled. For awhile now, though, I've been having trouble seeing clearly from my left eye (my right eye has problems caused by bleeding and clots, and my vision in that eye cannot be fixed much).Since I had already used my insurance coverage for the year, I was told by the office that I could get an "abbreviated" check up for $60. Well, I ended up with a full check up of my left eye, including pictures, and Dr. Steed explained what's going on with that eye (retina problems). He gave me a new prescription which will help a bit, answered all my questions, and I was on my way. I was very impressed that the doctor took so much time and effort with me. I've gone to Dr. Steed for many years and have never been disappointed.

Insight eye care was thorough, professional and everyone working was very kind. I’ve had very good vision my entire life up until the last few years. Dr. Steed was knowledgeable and gave me a prescription for exactly what I am needing. It’s great to see so many high reviews, wish I could do the same. For a couple years I was going here and every time I had issues with not being able to see clearly with my glasses. He would retest and request new be made. Last year when the glasses weren’t clear again he informed me I had a misshapen eye so vision would change. The answer I got after spending $700. I went to a new place and everyone is amazing with various testing….she said no clue where the misshapen eye came from. When she gave me those metal frames with what she is prescribing for lenses I was amazed! I could see so clearly for the first time in years!! She said the prescription is quite different to what I have now. Also the person who fit my frames showed me how far off the line is on my existing glasses for near vs far sighting. I was not happy to have to spend another $350 when social security is my only income, thank goodness they are using my existing frames, but it was worth it to be able to see clearly! Good luck!
Regarding response from Dr. 1. I haven't received copies of scans and I'm sure my dr would like to see them. 2. After many attempts to express how I could not see clearly from the glasses and getting the response that my eye was the issue why bother continuing to try with you. 3. Thank you for the offer to refund my money if I return the frames and lenses, however the frames are being used for new lenses so my new cost is for eye exam and correct lenses.

With all the new equipment they had, the technician who did the eye tests on several pieces of equipment knew exactly how to operate it and gave simple, easy instructions. We started going to Dr. Steed for our 12 year old who needed myopia management. We have been super impressed. Dr. Steed takes his time with you and will patiently answer any questions. He is honest and genuinely cares about his patients. The office is clean and modern, with plenty of comfortable seating. I like that there are 2 seats in each exam room + the exam chair. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The office staff has worked with us when we needed to be seen on the same day for a possible eye infection. The moment I walked in your door I was greeted with such a warm welcome by your office staff. Then I was taken back for my eye exam by Shayla and she was such a sweetheart. Very professional and knew exactly what she was doing. The process went so smooth.
Then Dr. Steed came in do to the final exam and reviewed the results very detailed and to my understanding. We come all the way in from Pahrump just for Dr. Steed because he knows his stuff. Absolutely love Dr. Steed.
The final stage, finding glasses... I had the pleasure to work with Alex. She never rushed me in making a decision. In fact, she offered appropriate suggestions. Very knowledgeable in what styles are in and very experienced in knowing what looks good.

I will give 5 stars to this clinic. The staff was so nice and polite and I was attended early since I went one hour early for my appointment time. Dr Steed was so polite and professional and my appointment went so fast and he was very detailed and direct to the point consultation and procedures. I can recommend this clinic to my friends.

Dr. Steed’s practice is hands down the best in Las Vegas. He and his staff are always extremely efficient and very personable. I’ve never had one issue in over 10 years. Dr. Steed was very gentle & patient with my 2 year old toddler this morning during a sick visit. She was not happy to let him take a look at her eyes but he explained everything he was doing, showed her all of the gadgets, sought her permission, and when things needed to escalate, walked us through how to hold her and what to expect. As a parent, I feel confident in entrusting our daughters eye care to Dr. Steed.

Ive been going to Dr Steed for my annual eye exams at least for a decade or so now. I like that his clinic is neat and at a very good location. I like that Dr Steed is very professional , and thoughtful of his clients. He is very thorough in his exams and knowledgeable about his craft. He has this subtle sense of humor to make sure his patients are comfortable and that they understand what’s going on with their respective visions. The ladies at the front desk seems friendly and welcoming. Over all, I am very satisfied with the quality and care that I received. Therefore, I recommend his clinic to anyone who is looking for long term eye care.

What a fantastic office! The receptionists are so nice, and the office is absolutely beautiful. Dr. Steed was so patient with me, and very attentive. He answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed at all. I called day of to get an appointment for what I thought was an emergency, and they were able to fit me right in.
