Dr. Minuskin Has been seeing two of our children since we moved here in 2014. And then our twins wheb after they were born in 2019. When he started his own practice we of course followed him. He sees all 4 of our children ranging from 4-16 and is incredible! We love his down to earth attitude and how I like to say “being real”. He has helped our kids with their ADD along with regular check ups, and when sick. I love that he will try every avenue before prescribing medications. Tara has Jenn with him since we first started seeing him and we love her!! It is like going to see our family. We could not ask for a better pediatrics office.

I’ve been going here since I was 7 I am 17 now and every time we are here they bill us for some fee they make up but that fine I understand it was always check ups. Today I actually needed to go to the doctor because I was having trouble breathing and have a really bad cough. I went in today and the front lady was talking about how I have a $650 bill to pay for vaccinations I took and wouldn’t let me go see the doctor. I couldn’t breathe so I just went to the er and they are telling me I have Pneumonia and if I couldn’t breathe it’s a bad sign that oxygen isn’t getting to my body. I just couldn’t believe that this happened to me while I was at my doctors office, which I’ve been going to for 10 years and they couldn’t treat me.

As many of the other negative reviews have stated there are issues here with Dr. Minuskins bedside manner.
Don't bother asking questions about vaccines unless you want to be sneered at in front of a room full of students. I asked which vaccines did he feel were priority since I wasn't sure about any of then to begin with but was open to maybe spacing them out instead of doing 4 of them at once for my 2 month old. He pressured me into getting all of them at both her 2 month and 4 month appointment. I'm taking her elsewhere from now on.
He also dismissed any concerns I had about how often she was able to go #2. I wanted recommendations on what formula may be best and he wouldn't give me any, saying I was lucky she was going as often as she was since she was on formula. Each visit he made a remark about me not being able to breastfeed, which by 2 and 4 months I can do nothing about so I'm not sure what the point of that was other than to guilt me or shut down whatever I had to say. Unprofessional and yeah, you feel like just a number here because you are.

The front desk staff can have the one star I have to give because they were always very cordial and even remembered us very quickly.

Maybe you'll have better luck, maybe not.

Please don’t take your children here. Our first (and last) appointment was beyond horrible. The Dr treated our 1 week old like a rag doll being extremely rough with her. She’s not one to really cry, maybe fuss and for a second, but he made her fully cry and scream the whole time by his roughness. I also felt judged and dismissed the whole time. He commented on her weight not being back to her birth weight and told us to force feed her by any means. I’m not trying to make her throw up or have an upset stomach by doing that but he didn’t care and almost laughed by it. He had his medical student in the room and didn’t bother to introduce him or anything, it seemed like an ego show for him. The only person we liked was the nurse that did her weight, height, head size, and blood sample. She was very friendly and seemed to be the only one like that in the whole place. Super disappointed and upset by the treatment he gave my newborn.

Bedside manner SUCKED! Students were in the room and no one asked if my husband and I were comfortable with it. Dr Minuskin was very aggressive in examining my daughter’s genitals, said we were not cleaning her properly and proceeded to not tell us how to do so. Interrogated us as to why we did not go to him for her one month baby wellness. Front desk was also extremely loud about other people’s information, not discreet at all. Also has felt like pulling teeth to obtain my daughter’s medical records from them. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic or doctor to a friend or family member.

I’ve had a positive experience with Dr. Minuskin. He is efficient, direct, and takes the time to answer all of my questions. The medical assistants have also been great.

My only concern is with the front desk staff. At times, their responses have come across as unfriendly and not as professional as expected. I hope this feedback can help improve the overall patient experience.

Four years ago, I searched extensively through the pediatric provider list in the Summerlin area, and it was extremely difficult to find a good doctor. Even though there are many pediatricians nationwide, it’s not always easy to determine which doctor is truly suitable for your child’s care. After reading many reviews, I knew I wanted to share my own experience and express my gratitude toward Dr. Miniskun.
Dr. Miniskun is an amazing doctor. He has many patients and a very busy schedule, and it’s important to understand that all relevant information is documented in the medical records and scanned into the system. It’s unrealistic to expect any physician to remember every detail of a patient’s background without reviewing the chart. When the file is open, he is thorough and attentive to the patient’s medical history, illnesses, and conditions.
Dr. Tal is also excellent. He focuses on current vitals and addresses whether your child is sick, ill, or coming in for a wellness check or physical. When he asks how your child is doing, he genuinely wants to hear the parents’ observations so that any concerns can be discussed and appropriate treatment can be provided if necessary.
I would like to commend the entire staff for doing a great job keeping appointments on track and providing parents with the necessary information. Like anyone else, I may have had a bad day in the past and been rude once to a receptionist, but what truly matters is making things right. Professionalism goes both ways. If someone ever feels differently about the office, it may be best for them to look elsewhere—but as for me, I am truly grateful.
Dr. Miniskun is a great doctor, and I thank him for everything. His advice and care for my son are invaluable.

Are favorite pediatrician very hands on listens to your concerns and speaks the truth no sugar coating. He will sit down with you and go over the best care . He also twice now has corrected a mistake the ER made . He really takes the time to check your child not just the minimum but above and beyond to me. He is very patient funny and kind and makes the visits very comfortable for kids .His staff remembers you by name that's just amazing . First I would like to say how immensely disappointed I am with this place. I read such great reviews and things about it but was let down. We were treated pretty poorly by this specific doctor. And when i say poorly i mean that he seems to judge people right away and then talks down to them as soon as hes decided youre not worth his time. today after trying to reach an optometrist on my own I had to finally call this doctor's office back and let them know I needed a referral for a specific optometrist (by the way I had asked for in the first place to which the doctor replied with a condescending chuckle "You can call any one" ) making me feel like I was an idiot for asking for a referral in the first place. When it turns out the multiple eye doctors I had called close to my home didnt take children under 5 years old and some were only general check up optometrists.
This doctor made me feel honestly just dumb the entire appointment, I dont feel like he really took any time at all with us which is the whole reason I chose this place because i felt by all the great reviews etc. that they would not force upon us vaccines or make us feel silly for our choices with our own child. Anyways, the nurse was wonderful and very patient with our son and the front desk staff were also very informative and helpful. Like I said the only bone I had to pick was with the doctor himself. Terrible service.

Both of my children are patients of Dr. Minuskin, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly about our children’s health and addresses any concerns we may have.

His staff is also very friendly and attentive. Most children don’t usually enjoy going to the doctor, but ours have no problem at all Dr. Minuskin is warm, patient, and great with kids!

This was the worst experience I have had with a pediatrician. We are new to the area and came in for wellness exams for my two children 10 and 8. The nurse was great and did vision and hearing checks but when the doctor entered the room things changed. He was rough with my daughter during a spinal check and when he did an exam on my son he commented on the fact that he is uncircumcised… asked if my husband was and rolled his eyes and said “so he doesn’t know how to take care of it.” He then went on to say we had to clean it and pull it back even though every pediatrician I’ve seen prior has said that happens during puberty and not to force it. I felt belittled and my son walked away in tears. This Dr didn’t seem to have the time to explain anything or the bedside manner to do so appropriately.

It's not the same office it was 5 years ago when I started coming. There seems to be issues with referrals, scheduling, and overall communication. The doctor himself has been good. I can't keep overlooking the mistakes happening that are outside of the doctor's role. It's resulted in delay treatment of my kids. Tara was amazing and I never had hiccups with referrals or appointments until I noticed she wasn't there. I'm not sure if it a coincidence or it's a result of her not there anymore. Stacey in the front is also gone. None of the front or back employees are the same f I'm when I started. The turn around of staff is also a red flag I ignored.

Came in yesterday with the two littles who were excited and didn’t want to sit quietly in the waiting room. Luckily we got called back quickly and had our own room. Eye and hearing exams done quickly, height and weight too. When the dr came he was friendly happy and the kids loved to see him. Med students did the milestone questions which they both met and then we were off. Also my son left his Spider-Man hat there ages ago and i saw it at check in and they gave us ! Very nice of them to hold it for so long. Great kids office, very good pediatrician with a lot of experience.

When my daughter had her 18 month check up the receptionist was saying that I wasn’t scheduled but I schedule it up front 3 months ago. So the lady forgot to schedule us! I really gave this office multiple chances to prove me wrong. It feels more like an ego platform for the Pediatrician, than a safe place to go with your concerns.

1. Serious concerns that I voiced have been dismissed on multiple occasions. He treats me as if I am being paranoid. Big NO. I took my son to a specialist because he said he would not refer me based on my description of issues. I took him to someone anyway because I am not on am HMO or Medicaid. The specialist caught a serious super infection that required anti biotics and other meds.

2. Assumptions have been made multiple times on why I ask questions about a variety of things from which side of town I live on (A very Vegas race driven assumption) , to the type of insurance I have, and whether or not I am an anti vaxxer. (I AM NOT). I just prefer to be INFORMED on what is happening. Additionally, I feel as if I am in am interrogation room being accused of something when things happen with my kids health.

3. The pediatrician (based on 3 years of going ) consistently ignores my concerns and is more concerned with looking intelligent in front of his students, treating my kids like they arent just very young children but rag dolls.

4. I don't get appointment reminders, but I will get collection-style phone calls over very small amounts of money. I am talking less than $50.

5. Circling back to the assumption of where I live, referrals to specialists are always very far from my home in Summerlin (Normal Vegas assumption when you aren't palm colored) . Usually, the referrals are based in North Vegas or East. There are so many specialists that are only 10 mins or less from me here in Summerlin, but they are never suggested. I have a PPO plan, so I simply ignore his referrals and go to who accepts my private insurance.

6. The office manager is terrible at communication that isn't inflammatory.

7. I am moving my kids care to another provider asap. I am not going to keep paying for the above treatment and experience. Being dismissed is a major no-no and I cannot keep this up.

Been coming here for about 3 yrs now till today. These annual fee that they’re now collecting is insane since I just heard about it. Also the Manager for these facility is rude and clueless had to always go out my way to contact insurance to clear all the copayments my kids had with three insurances and my other ones with two insurances. When they gave me the so call bills and I provided them to my insurance they had different dates. Made no sense always finding a way to try to charge me something. We love Dr. Minuskin and his staff at Kiddies’ Pal Pediatrics. When we found out we were pregnant with our first child, we met with Dr. Minuskin and instantly felt comfortable with him. He genuinely cares about you and your children. He isn’t owned by one of the big corporations, so you always see him and not some random doctor or nurse. We can usually get a same day appointment, and worse case, next day. He is extremely knowledgeable and we trust him completely. He will meet you in the hospital after delivery for a newborn so you can start off with care right from the beginning. We can’t imagine seeing another doctor for our three kids. We have twins, and they also always allow us to bring them in together for every appointment no matter what. They truly are a family friendly practice. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad I found Dr. Minuskin. He checked & cleared my daughter at Centennial Hospital when she was born. Then, he was just as informative & straight forward as he is every visit.
He respects our choices for our daughter, never pushy.
He’s associated with APP, which is another green flag on why I chose to stay with him as her pediatrician. The office is nice, easily accessible and easy to get an appt with.

He answers all my questions throughly, even when I come in with a list lol
Always a good vibe and pays close attention to the children’s health and well being.

If I could honestly give this place 0 stars I would…we came in for a check up visit for overall health/wellness. We had never seen this doctor prior. If you want to be treated as just another name and number under another white coat who could care less about forming real connections with their patients then you’ve found the one!
The building in which this is located in is very beautiful, once you open the doors to the actual office though..it’s a very cold, stale, stagnant, and just plain lifeless waiting room. The energy was just strange in comparison to even my own experiences as a child going to the doctor. You’d think with all of the money this man must make he would invest some of that into a beautiful office space for his staff & patients, especially regarding the fact that he specializes in care for children.

The Dr. was extremely rude, dismissive, belittling, and condescending from the moment he walked in. It was as if we were a burden unto his day and he couldn’t wait to get outta there. Matter of fact he couldn’t have exited the door quicker after our experience. He had no intention on genuinely getting to know us and making us feel comfortable in his presence!
We asked about vaccinations and he overloaded us with information on vaccines that he wanted to inject my 2 yr old with right then & there. As new/young parents, my eyes welled up in tears at the thought of this Dr. being willing to stick 6 different needles into his arm with 0 empathy or any thorough explanation as to what side effects may be. Just no warmth, no compassion, incredibly disrespectful as well once I shared that my son still has milk here and there throughout the days. He made my husband and I feel guilty as parents as if we’re inadequate or not doing enough for our child, almost insinuating that we are bad parents because we allow this still??? The sad part is, I could honestly keep writing more about my first & LAST time here but I think as a parent, if you’ve made it this far…I would only hope you maybe choose to do some more research on finding a doctor that will actually leave you feeling welcomed and comforted by your time in their office.

I am not the one to complain but a situation with this office has made me extremely upset. My 2 year old baby saw the doctor yesterday afternoon on a Thursday. He’s been pretty sick with high fevers, low appetite and low energy. He told us for an ear infection and will prescribe us antibiotics and should be feeling better. That evening never did my pharmacy receive a prescription or anything so baby stayed in pai. Next morning dad called and said they will send the doctor a message, 12 pm is here and no prescription. Called the office and stated the doctor has not seen the message all they can do is send him another message, it’s Friday afternoon now after 3 calls, text messages no prescription, no after hours phone number baby is still sick, doctor at 5pm still hasn’t seen the message. Seriously thinking of moving my kids to a different place that sick kids matter

We’ve been seeing him since my little guy was young. I love that he seems to generally care about your children well being. Dr. Minuskin is so awesome, well educated, very attentive and works quickly and effectively. Without having to search his years of experience, by the way he’s compassionate about his work and explains things to us it is obvious that he has several years of experience in pediatrics. He is very direct and friendly which makes you feel more like family, definitely gives us a peace of mind and facilitates our trust in him with our baby.

I love how not only does he focus on the baby but he also brings up postpartum and makes sure that my mental health is well to be able to care for my child.

He also gives the opportunity for students in the medical industry do their internship at his office where he’s teaching them about patient care and helping them understand milestones for infants and children, I learn a thing or two myself while listening lol Thank you Dr. Minuskin for being you and doing what you do because you do it very well!

I do not recommend this pediatrician. Especially, if you’re a colored person. I took my newborn baby to his office 2 times, both times he was in a rush and didn’t answer my questions or listen to my concerns. He was extremely dismissive and kept trying to leave the room. He suggested that I put my baby on formula without him doing any tests on her, he was supposed to check my babies bottom but he said he will not check her because she “pooped” and he just suggested I stop breastfeeding my baby. The next day I went to another pediatrician and she checked my babies bottom and told me exactly what was wrong with her and what I should do. It’s really sad that he gave me the wrong advice without doing his job knowing it can cause more complications for my child. We have been seeing Kiddies Pal Peds for our kiddos for 3+ years and I cannot be more happy. Dr. Tal is kind, knowledgeable, and very discerning about not over medicating, which I so appreciate. We are able to get same day appointments for sick kiddos, and sometimes he’s able to see us via telemedicine too. Best there ever is! No regrets or anything they are absolutely 💯. I love how professional and proficient they are with our children. When I had my twins and brought them to their first appointment, they ensure I had all the tools to becoming a good mom and made sure they BROUGHT UP POSTPARTUM! I took my kids to this doctor because my kid's old doctor can not accept our insurance anymore. However, I got a bill for $502 for each of my kids from Kiddies Pal Pediatrics just for a new patient visit. The only thing that was done was the kid's vitals, height, and weight, and the doctor asked me all these questions about my kids because they are new patients. Today I Spoke with the billing department and requested a copy of my kid's medical records you not going to believe what was on there. Lie number 1. They said that my kids were treated for asthma. Lie # 2 they said that my kids went in because they were sick. I will never take my kids to this place again.

Dr. Minuskin has been our son's pediatrician from birth to nearly 4 years old. He also performed his circumcision in the office and we had zero issues. The doctor has always treated our son with the highest level of care and expertise. Yes, he can be quick, direct, and to the point, but it's accurate medical advice and I appreciate the facts. He answers his own emergency calls on the weekend. He is always willing to answer my questions and didn't judge me when I took my son in for what I thought was strep throat and it turned out to be....his taste buds!! (1st time mom 🤦🏼‍♀️). It's easy to get an appointment and his nurse is extremely kind and efficient. Finding the best medical care for your child can be difficult, especially in this town, but Dr. Minuskin is the best. We just had our last well-check visit before we move out of state and we are sad to say goodbye. Thanks for everything!

We are so happy with Dr. Minuskin and his staff. We were just there today for our son’s 2 year check up and eczema concerns. We always feel that Dr. Minuskin listens to any concerns and gives us great insight. He’s also great with the kids and talks to them and not just us. We love the nurse Tara as well she’s wonderful! Our older two kids like him as well (16 yr old & 11 yr old). Finding a doctor who is okay with doing a delayed vaccine schedule is hard to find nowadays. I’m following the same schedule I did with my older two and he’s allowed that which was a huge deal for me. Personally, we like that he has students with him during the appointment, we think it’s great! Every student who has been in there with him have been extremely kind and professional. Also, the office is always clean!

Don’t EVER go here. The front office is extremely rude & doesn’t know how to do their job correctly. I saw this office ONCE in September and never went back because i didn’t like how they talked to patients. I got a bill in the mail from them today from SEPTEMBER. I called the office & she stated it was my deductible & i “ need to call the insurance to deal with that”, i told her i understand but i provided you guys with TWO insurances so why wasn’t the other one billed ? What wasn’t covered by my primary should be covered by the secondary. She said they only had one , i gave her the member Id for both my sons. The insurance only provided one card for me and my sons so it’s the same member Id. I gave her this information and she goes “ it’s the same number ? It can’t be. I said yes it can this is how we’ve always been billed, i work in insurance. She gets snotty and says “ok”. She gave me issue after issue and attitude after attitude. I asked her why wasn’t I informed of this amount due on the day of my visit not 5 months later. She says it’s because it was your deductible not a copay. AGAIN understandable but if you do your job RIGHT you would have known that and collected properly the day of my visit. Save you sanity & go to another pediatric office.

Front office and Tara were great, no complaints. However, the doctor’s bedside manner was almost laughably terrible. He treated my 4 year old like some doll he was demonstrating on for the medical students in the room. As first impressions go, it was one of the worst. The worst! Never again will my daughter be seen here. Took my daughter for a visit yesterday. He symptoms were deep cough, fever, nausea etc. The Dr. tells me he’s not sure what it is could be rsv, or the flu. Tells me to let the bug run it’s course. I ask him should I take her to the ER? He says do not take her what ever I do. Today we wake up she literally cannot breath, I take her to the emergency room and she was diagnosed with Pneumonia. She is now being admitted and is currently being treated. What a waste of time I wasted a whole day by listening to him and not taking her to the emergency room. Time to find a new pediatrician.

Nightmare!!!! I have no idea what happened to this pediatrics office but I AM DONE!!!!! The staff is completely rude and incompetent. The physician likes to give the excuse “it’s hard to find good staff”. Not acceptable!! The office manager and physician still need to hold their staff accountable. The last straw was that they cancelled my son’s appointment when they were supposed to cancel another child named “Owen”. Too many issues with billing, lack of customer service, competence, etc. I really liked Dr. M at first but I don’t have time for it.

I also didn’t appreciate being told “no formula is ever going to be as good as breast milk” when he found out I was unable to breast feed. I have no tolerance for mom shaming.

I’ve also had a friend recently terminate their children’s care with him due to his approach. He can be very harsh although not meaning to, perhaps.

I referred a friend (new mom) and he told her that she has PPD & to get help so “he doesn’t read in the newspaper that she jumped off a bridge”. While her needing help may have been accurate, his response was not right. My God. A first time mom and you say that to her based off of a survey you have new moms fill out at the baby’s first visit??? I was mind blown when she told me. She got help from her OB as well as a new pediatric referral.

I left because this office was simply too inconsistent for me to tolerate.

Don’t bother to respond to this, Kiddie Pals because your template excuses are not needed. I’m simply done and wanted to share my review with others.

Hi everyone, Dr. Tal A Minuskin deserves zero stars. I brought my son to see him. He wrongfully diagnosed my son. He told me my son was fine and that he just had a stomach bug. He was so wrong the next day I had to take my son to another doctor. My son had a temperature of 104.3 and he became lethargic. My son ended up having an ear infection and we are still waiting for his covid test to come back. Not to mention my son has developmental problems and Dr. Minuskin acted like my son was going to attack him. My son is the biggest sweetheart just
because he has developmental problems doesn't make him crazy. He just needed antibiotics so he could feel better. This Doctor doesn't believe in antibiotics to begin with or that children can catch streph. So, Please do right by your children find a better doctor. If we had waited any longer we would be sitting in a hospital room right now. Thank you to the new doctor that treated my son's ear infection🙏

Not the best pediatrician for a child under 1yr. I expressed that my child had thrush he refused to give us medication. The thrush then became a yeast diaper rash. Then he asked me again after another appointment of she had white stuff in her mouth. Then provided medicine.

If I could give this man 0 stars I would! We decided to choose Dr. Minuskin to be our newborn pediatrician! When we first met him everything seemed to be ok! We thought that he was knowlegable and sincere, but just lacked a few people skills that we could overlook! We decided to get our son’s Circumcision done by him because his office offered it and here in Las Vegas it has to be done outside of the hospital after the baby is born. Again, he stated that he has been doing this for over 20 years, etc... We trusted him! After the baby’s Circumcision was done, he gave us the instructions on how to care for it. We followed up with him within that next week to two weeks and he said that everything looked perfect. For our baby’s 2 month check up, he took a look at it and tried to accuse us of doing something wrong when it came to the way it healed! Then he proceeds to tear it apart with his bare hands (without our permission) with blood everywhere, then looks to me and ask do I have any Vaseline and to put it on when I get home! Wow! We rescheduled to come back within that next week to see him so that he could check to see how it healed! Again, the same thing occurred! He tried to tear it apart again, then says “he will have to see a urologist”! So fast forward to today.. my four month old just had to undergo surgery for a Circumcision redo because the urologist said that he took off too much skin and botched the entire Circumcision! So now my baby is crying out in pain because of an error on this doctor’s end! Maybe the service is ok for normal check ups, but please avoid all this and go to the urologist in the beginning if a Circumcision is needed! Just want to help out other parents!

I’ve been taking my son to Kiddies Pal Pediatrics since he was born and I couldn’t be happier! Tara is amazing and we come back for her just as much as Dr. Minuskin. I had really bad postpartum anxiety which made me a bit of a mess the first few visits but Tara really went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. We had our first visit for an injury today and both she and Dr Minuskin were so kind and comforting about it, which I really appreciated. Very pleased with my first visit to Dr. Minuskin. His front office staff (I was unknowingly 30 mins late for my appt and they still managed to fit us in after the patients already waiting had been seen) and nurse were very happy and kind. The doctor was excellent, always looked me in the eye, explained things thoroughly, made sure I was comfortable with everything he was doing to and checking my 9-month-old son for. I’m a transplant from Southern California and was trepidatious about finding a new pediatrician for my infant. I actually tried a doctor previous to Dr. Minuskin and was very unimpressed with her & her office. Crazy to see all the negative reviews. My 4 children have been seeing Dr. Minuskin for over 7 years. He is completely vested in his gift. He has always put the well being of my children before anything including my own personal preferences, and or emotions. He has never steered my family wrong. We as parents do have parental instincts, however we are not the professionals. As a parent I know we are not privy to having someone tell us about our children, but guess what.... that’s his job! There had been many instances where I as the parent was acting out of emotions, and disagreed with professionals especially when it comes to my children. But this man has always went above and beyond for the well being of my children. I can call at 2AM, or 5PM and he is available to my children. Being he is the only doctor in the office, a wait may be required. But I would rather wait and have someone that cares instead of going to a cattle call clinic with 20 doctors, and not 1 had a genuine interest in my child. We love you Doc, keep up the good work!

Went and seen him on Monday and sent home with no antibiotics because it was a viral infection. Called on Thursday because my daughter was still sick and called to see if he would call in a antibiotic for my daughter because she's not getting better. Wouldn't call in a antibiotic and wanted to see her again. I understand your the doctor and can tell me an antibiotic weakens the immune system fine but I'm her mother and know the antibiotics help her and you refuse to give them to her. I love this office!! My daughter was almost 3 months when I decided to switch pediatricians office, the one I was taking my daughter to never had same day appointments, no walk ins, she would never see the same doctor and the staff was not that great, I did some research on line and found Dr. Tal. From the moment I called, they were able to schedule my appointment for the next day on my off day, even being a new patient. Awesome experience and up to now almost a year later they are still great, no waiting more than the norm unless of course insurance needs to be verified or paperwork filled out. The doctor always listens and at the end of the day, like he says you are the parent therefore you decide what's best for your child. We recently adopted in Nevada. We are from out of state and we were recommended to this pediatrician. The staff and dr were so lovely with us during this time. They got us in twice before we were able to go home with our new bundle of joy. The dr even went over our sons hospital paperwork from where he was born. The practice was very clean and had wonderful nurses. The front office was very efficient with our paperwork and calling to get us scheduled. We would definitely be registered patients here if this was our home state.

Horrible experience. Will never go back and would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Mr. Minuskin discriminated against my 12 year old daughter and I. He repeatedly questioned personal information that was not his concern, while mocking and questioning my religious beliefs. He brought in a student, never introduced him or asked if I was comfortable with him in the room. I questioned the student of his name and why he was there, Mr Minuskin seemed very irritated and snapped that he was a student and mumbled his name. I expressed that his mannerism where very offensive and unprofessional, that I would never come back to this establishment and did not want to continue with the visit (we came for a child check up and physical) He was unapologetic, shredded my daughter’s paperwork and went on with his day.

I’d rate “Dr. Minuskin” 0 stars if given the option. I took my 11 yr old son in to see him today because he had been running a fever, sniffling and a minor cough. We told the Dr. about my sons history with croup and how severe he gets when it hits him and told him that was a concern as this is how it always starts. His response was not only demeaning but it felt as he was making a mockery out of what we told him going as far as saying “Take a video next time it happens, I’d really like to see that” as if we were stating the impossible and doubting us. After swabbing my sons throat he diagnosed him with Mono! A saliva spread sickness!!!! Now at this point I feel judged I’m confused as my kid isn’t going around kissing nor eating and drinking off other people’s plates or drinks. What were you really trying to say Doc? My son was born on the 5th of December. I called on either the 5th (wed) or the 6th (thur) to schedule a circumcision, and at that time asked if there were any requirements prior to having the procedure done. I was told no, and scheduled it for the 12th. I called back on the 7th (fri) to see about adding a wellness exam to the circumcision as well, to get both done at the same time. I was told that it would have to be a week after the procedure, so I scheduled it for the 19th. We get there on wed. expecting to have the procedure done, and we were told that we had to have a wellness exam first, and then a week later we could do the circumcision. This is not what I had been told the prior 2 times I called about scheduling this; and having to take time off work for the second visit was going to be irritating (I took time off for when I thought the procedure was going to be performed to help my wife, and was going to let her do the follow up without me). So we agreed to this scheduling swap. I go to pay, and the receptionist wanted both my wife's and my D.L.
I told her no, she doesn't need our I.D.s, and she got a slight attitude and handed my card back to me. (she had explained that it is so they know the same people are bringing the child in each time, 1. it is not their business who I decided to let bring my child to the doctor, 2. I do not have control over, nor know their data handling procedures/ safety measures to ensure that my information is not at risk for being stolen).

"The identification of parents is necessary..." No it is not. Please provide the state or federal statute/law that requires ID to be shown for cash paying patients; you cannot, because there is not a legal requirement. That is your wish. I will not provide I.D. to you because it is none of your business; until you change that policy I will not be procuring your services for anything.

I interviewed 4 pediatricians before selecting Dr. Minuskin with Kiddie Pal Pediatrics. When I delivered my baby Dr. Minuskin came to the hospital examine baby. He was there with-in hours of baby’s arrival.
He came back the following day that I was in the hospital to examine baby again.
On our 1st appointment with baby at his office I was able to breastfeed in a special private room and they were very accommodating while we tried to figure out the insurance hiccup we had.
The exam looked throughal and my baby remained calm throughout the visit. He had excellent bedside manner and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted; we never felt rushed. He re-assured me that I was doing a good job which seems so simple but it was something I really needed to hear. I am very happy with my pediatrician choice.

All 4 of my children have been going to Dr. Muniskin for years now and I absolutely think in my opinion he is the best pediatrician in town. Dr. Muniskin actually will take the time to go over your questions and concerns and help you as the parent to understand the care of your child/children. He responds to concerns and lab-work results and etc in a very prompt and efficient time. The availability if needed for an appointment is very satisfying and the staff and Dr are always willing to wait and work with my scheduling needs. I drive from Henderson just to take my children to see Dr. Muniskin and I will continue to take my children there for the best quality patient care.

Dr. Minuskin is one of the best pediatricians I have ever taken my children to! Unfortunetly with lots of pediatricians I have come accross, my children just seemed like another job, but Dr. Minuskin actually cares about the kids he treats. He is very on top of things! My kids are never affraid to go to the doctor, they are comfortable with their ped, and for a child that is important! So Thank you Dr. Minuskin!!!.The office staff is top notch. We couldn't have asked for a better Pediatrician for our sons.
