Do not come here. They did not want to fix and issue with my contacts and I just dished out $400 for them. They said I have to pay an additional $200 for a completely new prescription even though I got the prescription from them during the same year I bought them. They didnt tell me this beforehand so now im out $400 and without contacts. I just wanted them to check the weight of them or something to make sure they looked good. Smh

I've always had good experiences here but most recently we've had two appts here for my daughter and both times the wait has been ridiculous. (These were two weeks apart) You are clearly scheduling too many appts too close together. Our first appt for my daughter to get a contact lens prescription went so long I was late for work. The next appt. took so long I eventually had to leave before she even saw the Dr or I would have been late to work again. This is scheduling appts 2.5-3 hours before I have to be to work. There is nothing happening here that should be taking this long. Get your act together Pearle Vision!
The staff is always friendly, but the waits are just ridiculous.

This place is horrible! My mom has a cognitive disorder where she doesn’t quite understand the values of money and she gets confused when it comes to the cost of things. She’s had a massive stroke where she had to learn to walk, talk, read , and learn everything over again.

While She has recovered tremendously and has gained full independence of daily activities she still hasn’t quite mastered some of her cognitive abilities.

My mom went to this place and was SOLD an extra exam that she did not need. Her glasses were covered under her insurances but because she said yes to a $45 exam she was unable to get her glasses until she paid the $45.

I went to the office to get her glasses and tried to explain to the manager LOUIS that my mom didn’t understand that the extra exam was $45 she has a cognitive delay and didn’t know it would be extra.

I told him I should have gone with her but I didn’t know she had the appointment.

His response to me was, “if I had a parent or family member that didn’t understand the cost, I wouldn’t let them go by themselves. I would go with them so they won’t cost me money out of my pocket.”

He the. Proceeded to say, “we pay billions of dollars for the equipment so the doctors can examine the patients I can’t do anything about the fee.”

For me it’s not about the fee. It’s more about the way they sold someone who didnt understand that it would cost extra and WITHHELD their glasses until the money was paid!! Made smart comments about how she shouldn’t come alone then.

In addition to this there were notes in the system of this happening with my mom last year and her not having the money for the extra exam but someone (me) paid it later.

Maybe ask people to pay for the exam before you do it? Then you will see they don’t have the money. Or let ppl know we are more about selling you something than you getting your glasses.

My mom goes here because it’s the closest to her home. Unfortunately she won’t be back…simply because they rather sell sell sell than actually care about the people that come in there.

It’s unfortunate because it’s in a democratic where some just done have the extra money but you push it anyway? And hold the glasses? Read the room!! Try to meet the patients where they at!! Actually care about people!!!

‼️Long wait‼️ appt was on 02/09/26. My kids and I were waiting in the lobby for almost an hour. My son's appointment was at 11. They called him back at 11:55 and thats just to do the pre eye exam tests. Then he was called back at 12:25 for the eye exam. So we ended up leaving at almost 1pm. 2 hours for an eye exam. And no, we are not going to wait another hour for someone to help us with glasses. Got my son's prescription and left.

110% Worth the wait! The place was packed when I got there and I waited a LONG time to see the optometrist. I was a little grumpy but the staff there is super nice and unflappable. Once I got in the back I realize why the wait was so long because everyone there took their time and made you feel like a person not just a number. I will be back and I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

I ordered glasses about a month ago. Still haven’t finished them. They said January 3rd they were gonna be ready. So I called January 3rd to ask if they were ready. They said “yeah they’re ready for pick up” I get there and they say ooops it’s not ready they failed 2 times so they got sent to another lab” they told me to come back Monday (Jan 5) so today I CALLED AGAIN before I drove 25 min again for no reason to make sure they’re ready. ONCE again they said “yeah they’re ready for pick up” so I drive AGAIN to that side of town and when I get in there they said the same thing “ ooops it’s not ready yet” so why in the world did you guys make me drive out here twice just for me to get there and they’re still not ready. Very unprofessional . It takes 2 minutes to stand up and go make sure they’re actually physically there before answering me. On top of you guys taking the longest to make a pair of glasses it’s highly unprofessional to make someone waste time and gas to drive to go get them. I hope to talk to manager and hopefully I get something more than a “oops sorry” also it says all calls are recorded when I call so I’m sure my phone calls should be there

I had a full service eye exam at Pearle Vision located at the 1820 E Lake Mead location today. It was an amazing visit, marked by excellent customer service from Cynthia, Dr. Motola and Maddie.
Cynthia completed the diagnostic testing and was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. I enjoyed how thoughtful Cynthia was as we completed testing. She is a true asset to Pearle Vision.
Dr. Motola was extremely thorough, thoughtful and explained the results of all my tests. He patiently worked with me to ensure I completed the eye testing to determine the glasses that would best help me regain vision and training of my left eye due to my failure of upkeep and maintenance of my annual exams. If given the opportunity to work with him, I highly suggest you do. Dr. Motola has a kind, respectful demeanor and is passionate about what he does. It was a blessing to meet him and become his patient.
Finally, I met with Maddie who assisted me with choosing my glasses. She thoroughly explained what my insurance covered, suggested the best options to maximize my dollars by advising me of coupons and specials available. Her first recommendation for my frames were my favorite.
I chose this location because I researched there reviews. Many of them spoke of the kindness and expertise of the staff! The reviews were absolutely right!

Only reason why I’m giving a one star is because it’s already been 2 weeks since I went in, and my prescriptions were supposed to be ready. They keep giving me the run around “not ready yet” they were supposed to be ready today and it’s not it’s been 2 weeks. So my advice is if you want your prescriptions at a sooner time/date get them else where because this is not an office of convenience. This the longest I’ve EVER waited for my prescriptions!

What a wonderful experience I had with coming to them for the first time with my kids . Yazmin was beyond great (heck the whole staff was wonderful ) . Dr. Motola very informative and shows that he actually cares about the well being of his patient eyes , I wish I would have come to them first when we first moved out here instead of the other eye place we went to that was absolutely no help . But so thankful for this location of Pearle Vision because they all were beyond helpful . It’s also a plus to be able to have a visit on Sundays , my only complaint was the wait for your appointment time , I think they had too many people booked around the same time . Great job to the staff at Pearle Vision .

I'm done with Pearle Vision and their hard upsell tactics. This is the only glasses chain I've gone to for FREE glasses on medicaid and walk out paying an additional $300 EVERY TIME. The fact that you have to pay $150 for "anti scratch" and to "thin out the lenses " is ridiculous. They're nice but they are there to get your money. Why are you showing me ugly frames that cost more than the included no cost ones?BTW the "anti scratch" is b.s my lenses were EXTREMELY scratched so I paid for nothing twice. Will not be back. Walked in at 2:15 didn't leave until 5:15 . Very long process. I went to eye glass places in NYC was in and out with zero extra cost. If you are on medicaid DO NOT COME HERE. Why are you upselling people on state benefits when we're obviously not financially well off? Last time you will get $300 out of me.

Highly recommend!!!!! I came in for a check up and new glasses. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Dr. Motola really cares about his patients and it shows. For $44 (optional) you can get eye scans that replace those awful eye dilation drops. Totally worth it. I came early and looked at glasses with Madeline before my appointment. She helped me find the perfect glasses to replace my ray bans that recently broke and took my measurements. After my appointment, she was assisting another customer and Adrian helped me. Definitely great team energy here. Recommending this place to all my friends! Thank you!

Went to this location today with my husband. Cynthia did our intake and she was great! She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Dr. Suk was very honest and explained his answers. Ashley helped us with our glasses and she was so sweet and helpful. They made this experience seamless and fast! The only awkard part was when another employee came in during my intake. She had pink hair, tattoos, and did not introduce herself nor explain why she was there. She was hovering and reading all my information. I first assumed she was doing an assessment, but still would have been nice and professional to know what she was doing.

Don’t think I’ll ever come back to this location. I came in to receive a valid contact lens prescription and that was it. The doctor and the ladies up front were nice and respectful. As soon as I get finished with my exam I head over to a guy who is trying to sell me contacts. He was very pushy on trying to sell me a year supply of contacts but I kindly declined because it was out of my budget right now. When I declined his whole demeanor changed and he was very short and dramatically sighing. As if he was upset I couldn’t afford a year supply of contacts right now. I’ve never felt guilty or shamed before at any vision place for declining or just not being able to pay for something I didn’t intentionally plan on getting in the first place.
