Let me save you some reading time by starting with this: this office is EXCEPTIONAL!! I was referred here by a good friend, and I’m so happy I trusted their recommendation.

Truthfully, I’m very wary of dentists and dental work because I’ve had some terrible experiences in the past. I’ve always felt like some offices want to do the most work possible instead of first figuring out what can actually be saved. I have a few older fillings that need attention, and two other offices told me I needed crowns that would have cost thousands of dollars. I just refused to believe that was my only option.

From the moment I met Dr. Torres and his team, the experience felt completely different. You can tell they actually care about preserving your natural teeth and improving what can be saved before jumping into more invasive treatments. Even the equipment and technology they use feels so much more advanced and state-of-the-art.

Dr. Torres was able to repair one of my fillings that same day, along with my cleaning, and I seriously cannot say enough about how great the experience was. Even their numbing technique was elite. I’m extremely sensitive and normally still feel some of the work being done, but I genuinely didn’t feel a thing and could still go to work an hour later without losing half my motor skills.

And the filling was done SO well. Days later, I have zero sensitivity, discomfort, or weird bite issues, which I’ve definitely experienced after dental work in the past.

I really can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Torres and his staff. Finding a dentist I actually feel like I can trust is HUGE for me, and I’m so happy I found this office. Super, super happy with my experience!!

DO NOT COME TO RADIANT SMILES ON BLUE DIAMOND!! This has been one of the worst customer service and billing experiences I have ever dealt with.

After reviewing my itemized bill, I noticed charges that appeared to show two crown-related charges for ONE tooth. I have an uncle who works in the dental industry, so I sent the itemized bill to him to review. He told me that the crown should be billed using code D2740.

We called Radiant Smiles Blue Diamond and spoke with the office manager, Charisma. Charisma repeatedly told us that my insurance did NOT accept D2740 and said that was the reason they could not bill it that way.

I contacted Delta Dental directly**, and they confirmed to me that D2740 is an accepted/covered code under my plan.

I called Radiant Smiles again and explained what Delta Dental told me. Instead of professionally addressing my concern, the staff continued refusing to correct or reconsider the billing. During the call, someone even mocked the dental professional helping me by saying something along the lines of, “Oh, your quote-unquote dentist "When I asked the employee's name, I was told “Evelyn,” which I later had reason to believe was not the employee's actual name.

I then called other Radiant Smiles locations, and I was told that their offices do bill D2740, which made the Blue Diamond location's refusal even more concerning to me.

I eventually went into the Blue Diamond office with a Delta Dental representative on the phone. The insurance representative personally explained to Charisma that D2740 was accepted. Even after hearing this directly from my insurance company, Charisma still refused to correct the billing.

I asked for contact information for upper management so I could escalate my billing complaint. Charisma refused to provide it and told me, “There is nothing Tina can do anyways. ”I was informed that the director is Tina Ruiz, but I was also told that she does not come into the office and that they could not provide me with contact information for her.

A few hours later, Sandra, the coordinator, finally provided me with an email address where I could submit my complaint. I sent a detailed email regarding everything that happened and, as of writing this review, **I have not received a response.

What bothers me most is that I gave this office multiple opportunities to review and correct the billing. I contacted my insurance, had my insurance speak directly with the office manager, contacted other Radiant Smiles locations, and asked for management involvement. Instead of simply addressing the concern, I was met with repeated refusal, dismissive behavior, and difficulty obtaining management contact information.

Please review your itemized treatment plans and billing carefully before paying this office. Call your insurance company yourself and confirm the procedure codes and coverage before agreeing to charges.

I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled.

UPDATE 10/5:

**UPDATE:** Today, Karina, the assistant to Director Tina Ruiz, contacted me regarding my Google and Yelp reviews. Despite requesting to speak directly with the director about this situation, I still have not spoken with Tina Ruiz.

I was informed that they will not process my **partial refund unless I remove my honest Google and Yelp reviews about my experience**. I find this extremely concerning. My reviews describe my personal experience with this office and the billing issues I encountered.

To make matters even more serious, I discovered that the office also **submitted a claim to my dental insurance for a crown that I did not receive**.

I will be filing a formal complaint with the appropriate dental board and requesting that these issues be reviewed and investigated. I strongly encourage patients to carefully review their treatment plans, itemized receipts, billing codes, and insurance claims when dealing with this office.

I was seen by Dr. Torres, very king young guy, he was attentive to my questions, gave me a clear explanation about my dental needs, he speaks Spanish, and the 3 young assistants are very nice and king, they have options y you don’t have dental insurance, and I just paid $20 for the X-rays and the evaluation + I didn’t spend the whole day at office it was a quick, thanks to all of you at Radiant Smile.

The staff was amazing and extremely professional. I brought both of my daughters (ages 3 and 5) here, and the team treated them like family. Everyone was incredibly patient and kind. They were able to work on both girls at the same time in rooms right next to each other, which made managing the visit so much easier for me and got us out the door quickly. I wish I could name everyone, but I want to give a special thank you to Karisma and the wonderful lady working next to her at the front desk. I also greatly appreciate the gentleman who made sure my daughter's school oral health form was filled out completely, and who even proactively asked if my other daughter needed one too. Finally, a huge thank you to the incredibly nice lady who did my youngest daughter's teeth cleaning, I didn't catch her name, but we joked around so much that the girls started calling her Auntie and she accepted the name 😂 lol.

Also, for anyone wondering, I made the appointment on the 10th and was able to be seen on the 12th , so everything happened extremely quickly.

I’ve waited long enough to post this review. This place gave me a bad feeling the moment they started talking about money. They were very nice, very friendly yet they came off very eager to get anybody into the chair. I noticed as soon as I mentioned insurance, they no longer cared to have me in the chair. So they continued working on my girlfriend who doesn’t have dental insurance & was having to pay out-of-pocket. Anyway, this place ended up saying that it would cost $750 to do one tooth extraction. I immediately wanted to leave and I told my girlfriend that that was way too much money for a single extraction. However, they began to say things like “the monthly payments will be very small” but in my opinion, it’s the total that matters. At the end of the day, it would still amount to $750 FOR A SINGLE EXTRACTION. Also, the guy that handles the financial matters in the dental office said they could only use a bank card. I found that to be questionable because typically you can pay any bill with any card that has a Visa or Mastercard logo. But I happen to have a bank card that was brand new. So I activated the card & transferred the exact amount of money into the account linked to the brand new card that they were going to deduct for the visit.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PAYMENT WAS PROCESSED & MY CARD WAS GIVEN BACK TO ME I LOCKED THE CARD THROUGH THE MOBILE BANK APP.

SO, later on when myself & my girlfriend were watching a movie together, I got back to back notifications that a debit card payment for some cell phone company was not able to be processed because the card that was being charged was locked - I immediately knew it was somebody from that office. They tried over four times within five minutes to pay their cell phone bill with my debit card but because it was locked AND I purposely did not transfer any other funds into that account other than the exact amount that was charged earlier for the initial visit to the dentist & because I have overdraft protection-ALL 3 of these things is what saved me from being a victim of theft/fraud.

All that being said, this place is a no go for me. It reminds me of a bad car dealership. They are very nice to your face, but in the end you get ripped off.

I was not rushed or pushed into any decisions without a proper explanation. Dr. Torres and his assistant, as well as the HR staff member (apologies, I am horrible with names 🥲) worked with me completely and understood my game plan on how to address my tooth pain (I travel to Colombia to see my mom often and have a dentist there as well). In the end, I paid exactly what was shown to me prior to any procedures being performed. We were able to start on some relief and proper cleaning. I know exactly what is going on and what to do next about it, and I will definitely be back for my next visit. This team settled this dentist anxiety I had the day before going in (cost and having an honest/understanding Dr were my main concerns).Thank you to your whole team for being thorough and professional. I loved the transparency and would run a clinic the same way you guys did today (as a veterinarian in the animal world, of course 🐶🐱🐰). Have a smooth Tuesday.

Stay clear of this place. " Shady Smiles"
After my very visit which included an exam and xrays I started to fill the shift from we are here for you to get your dental needs met, to how much money can we actually extract from your insurance company and bank account. Initially after reading my xrays that were taken there , I was told that I had a very large cavity that could not be treated conventionally and would require a dental crown to be placed. Additionally no clear plan was outlined but certain procedures were recommended outside the covererage of my insurance. They consistently pushed for treatment options for the more advanced items that I had no intention of getting. It's like going into a car dealership to buy a toyota and getting information on a Mercedes. Sebastian is their finance manager, what a piece of work, like a closer on that car lot. What a con game....simply said. Following this dental disaster i secured an appointment at another dental practice,fully transparent and very professional. After my initial exam and xrays I was informed that indeed I had a large cavity , but was assured that it could be treated conventionally in the office and no crown was necessary, saving me a large amount of money. Moving forward my dental work has been completed beautifully ahead of the initial projected time frame and under initial budget. But unfortunately my girlfriend went to this office during my initial and short happy time. During her initial exam and xrays she was given a form to sign while in the dental chair after having injections in her gum line. How strange, shouldn't this form have been given to her in the outer office so she could have reviewed it before treatment begun. Absolutely no clear communication between Sebastian and the dentist. No proper communication with the Insurance company to get treatment authorization, she was told it was the patients responsibility to get insurance authorization. Sebastian submitted authorization on treatment that were not started or stated to insurance that treatments were completed. Concluding, she was given a substantial bill for treatment that was never completed, and since placed her confidence in another dental practice. How shameful, knowing that she is a senior on a fixed income and not only charging for services that were not completed then falsification of documents to the Insurance company and her financial institution. I hope you enjoy the money that you fleeced from her.....and spend it wisely perhaps on a course in Business Practice and Ethics. Stuart Barton

I had an appointment yesterday, and it was handled by Sebastián. He was very attentive and helped me fill out all the paperwork. They didn’t take long at all to call me in and start with the X-rays, which were done by Gezzel. She was very kind, explained everything to me, and was very patient throughout the process.

My treatment was performed by Dr. Torres. He carefully reviewed what I needed and carried out the treatment exactly as required. He was very efficient and quick. I especially appreciated Gezzel, who stayed with me during the procedure and held my hand while they administered the anesthesia. That meant a lot to me since I tend to get very nervous.

At the end, Sebastián came back to explain everything that had been done and helped me finish the paperwork. Overall, it was an excellent experience at the clinic. The environment is very calm, and the staff is attentive and patient with me. Even the music they played helped me relax and stay distracted, which I really needed since I struggle with tension.

I truly appreciate Gezzel, Sebastián, and Dr. Torres for their excellent service.

We had such a wonderful experience at Radiant Smiles (Blue Diamond location). I brought my 5-year-old daughter in, and from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel completely comfortable and welcome.

They were incredibly warm and patient not just with me, but with my daughter and all of her little “imaginary girl” questions. They answered every single one with kindness and never made her feel rushed or silly. As a parent, that meant so much to me.

I went in for a routine dental check up. I came out with a $2500 bill.

I had x-rays done and was told of all the different services that I required. The dentist kept pushing for me to purchase extra services and I thought they were necessary. They even had their “closer” come and try to push me into getting everything.

When I brought my x-rays to another dentist, they told me that they upped charge me about $1700 an extra services that weren’t actually required.

The first time this happened with them, I thought this was just a new way that dentists are trained to service their clients. However, after getting my wisdom teeth, pulled out by radiant, smiles, and later, having my teeth have gaps in them. Due to the removal of the wisdom teeth, I started questioning their methods.

It turns out I didn’t actually have to have my wisdom teeth removed. They just “recommended it“ because they said they may cause problems later. When I initially declined the service, they had someone else come and talk to me about it to push it more on me. So I got it.

Now, after getting a second opinion, I regret it. they messed up my teeth, and when I went back to them, I knew I had to trust my instinct that I was going to get ripped off again.

Also if you take your x-rays and upload them to chat, GPT, and you upload the recommendation of services sheet that they give you it’ll give you more of a realistic view on what work you need.

That’s what made me seek out a second opinion and it turns out I was ripped off and now my teeth have gaps in them.

I had a very disappointing experience at this office. I came in for a routine preventive cleaning, but was unexpectedly presented with a $1,200 treatment plan and told I would owe $200 out of pocket, even though my insurance typically covers preventive care at 100%. After questioning the charges, the bill was eventually corrected and I paid $32 instead.

I was also advised to get a cavity filled that I do not believe was necessary. The pricing felt excessive, and the explanations were not transparent. On top of that, my 2:00 PM appointment did not finish until around 4:30 PM, which shows a lack of respect for patients’ time.

For anyone considering this office, I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about every proposed treatment and cost before agreeing to anything. If you’re not familiar with dental billing or don’t feel comfortable pushing back, it’s easy to end up paying far more than you should.

Taylor did my cleaning and she was so nice and very professional. The dentist Dr. Torres assisted her as well and both were very gentle with my teeth. Honestly this was my first time being at the blue diamond location and I’ll forever be at that location. The staff is just amazing, Sebastian helped me so much when it comes to finances. Be aware that the reviews from prior to summer 2025 are for Bleu Dental, which Radiant Smiles took over from at this location.

As a preexisting patient of the previous practice, I was comped my exam when my normal semiannual appt came up after they took over. Doctors were nice, it was a busy office the first few weeks, there was a wait between talking to the dentist and the office manager to figure out treatment plan and I agreed to a deep cleaning a couple weeks later when I had more time. Service went well, cash price was average for LV area.

3 mth follow up scheduled for today at 9am. I arrived 3 mins before to sign in, was called back at 9:08, and then left alone until I walked up to the front desk at 9:30 to reschedule and leave because my time was being wasted. Only one person came into the patient bay during that time and it was to grab supplies for another patient. 2 receptionists, one seemed to be working on computer and the other texting on phone: They rescheduled me for another week and offered 9am; I asked if I would be seen at 9am if I had that appt, to which they replied 'it's not a guarantee and depends on when the doctor shows up, like today she had a family emergency and was running late.' No one conveyed the doctor was running late at any time since I had arrived and probably would have continued to let me sit in the back alone until they eventually, maybe, did show up. -2 stars for lack of punctuality and poor service.

I do not recommend paying up front at this office because then they will have your money and can continue to treat you poorly. Pay after (or if) services rendered. I liked the doctors and hygienists enough to try them again, but beware this may not be a good location if you are taking time off work to visit; probably better for people who take the whole day off or stay at home parents.

Very clean clinic. Dr. Kim, Esley and Tavia were friendly. It was my first visit with them and they were having computer issues but I was still able to complete my visit. They are located in the same plaza as Wingstop and have plenty of parking. Although the website may seem like Dr. Kim only does cosmetic procedures, he also does general dentistry.
