I went in with an infected painful tooth and the dentist Jenna and her assistant Carlos were amazing! Jenna made sure I knew my dental options and when I decided to get my tooth pulled she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. By the time the novicane numbed my tooth and she went to pull it I felt NOTHING!!! For 50 yrs I have had a fear of dentists..... these 2 💯 changed this! I was in happy taers when she said she was done. So, needless to say this is my new dentist office! Thank you again Jenna & Carlos 🙏☺️

From the very beginning, I was given inaccurate and inconsistent information. I called ahead to confirm pricing, insurance coverage. I was reassured multiple times that everything was straightforward and covered (I was transferring from a different dental office)

However, once I arrived for my appointment, the story completely changed. Suddenly there were “additional requirements,” unexpected costs, and vague explanations that directly contradicted what I had been told prior.

It felt incredibly deceptive—like the goal was to get me in the office before revealing the truth.

No one took accountability for the misinformation, and instead I was met with oblivious attitudes and unclear answers when I tried to address the discrepancies. For a medical office, where trust and transparency are critical, this was unacceptable.

Patients should not have to play guessing games about costs or procedures, especially after doing their due diligence ahead of time.

Clear, honest communication should be the BARE MINIMUM standard, and this office failed at that completely.

What a waste of time.

Called to make an appointment and the first time I called I got hung up on by a female who kept interrupting me anytime I tried to talk. When I called again, a male answered the phone who had me on hold for 15+ minutes. I called from another line and they answer and the same girl answered, she gave me her name and as soon as I advised her about the experience she knew what was going on she gave me her name it starts either an E or something other than LAURA. During the call I told her I’ll be leaving a Google review and she changed her name to Laura. Honestly, I understand people have bad days but you guys need to treat people how you’d like to be treated insane for a dentist place to be acting this way. THREE calls to get an appointment. You can easily know who it was if they worked on Tuesday anywhere from 8AM-10:45AM. I forgot to add as soon as I confronted the lady about the guy hanging up on me literally AS SOON he answered the line I had on hold. He also hung up left a voicemail apologizing saying “the system is down” if the system was down how is the girl on the phone setting up my appointment. Literally got caught in a lie 2 TIMES

Dr.Kim has done a great job with my treatment I am satisfied with the progress this far, Joselynne services me for my routine visit and she is very welcoming and professional a pleasure to have her . However outside of those two specific people my experience with Risas Dental in general has been horrendous! I am treated differently from other patients and have proof of unfair treatment I have been receiving. I am aware I am not liked at this location, simply by how I am treated in office. I have been threatened to have my service cancelled amongst other things that other patients do not have to experience. I come back because of Joselynne and Dr.Kim once my treatment is done I will no longer support this biased business. I am only giving 5 starts to reflect Joselynne and Dr Kim outside of those two I don’t recommend Risas at all. There are other affordable places with much more welcoming environment. I now go to Queensridge Modern Dentistry for my dental services not pertaining to my braces. They are great over at Queensridge! Much more friendly and still affordable!

The front desk people were nice when taking me in and the assistants Jesica, and Marisol were very kind and attentive. I was seen by Doctor Stankosky and Doctor Kim who were also very nice to me as well. Doctor Stankosky did my extraction and made sure I was comfortable and in no pain while he did it. The doctors and assistants answered all questions and any concerns I had without any judgement which I appreciated. 5/5 would come back again :)

Josselyn is my favorite…I literally have her down on my notes to be the lucky lady to switch my bands out and I’ve NEVER had a problem with wires poking out! We have great conversations and it’s always a great vibe! I’m sure she’s highly requested because of her knowledge in the dental field. I also love my dentist! Horrible, brutal, incompetent Place run don't walk run from this place When in for my crowns three months ago Head temporaries Put in fell out twice Was never called back For my Permanente teeth the dentist left was not notified Got an infection asked for a refill on antibiotics was denied till I came in again and had to be scanned again for my teeth could not find my crowns So I have to go in again Very incompetent office work on my teeth was very brutal Nobody knew anything of what was going on with my lost crowns and said it was my fault for not asking when I went in for my temporary to be replaced again about my crowns still do not know who my dentist is since the other one left now I have to go back in and they're making me start all over again brutal.
