My experience began with my late husband, Jim who was treated by Dr. Matthew Schwartz for prostate cancer in the early 2000's. Dr. Schwartz and his lovely English speaking nurse (who I believe was named Ruth) could not have been more wonderful! My husband and I found Dr. Schwartz to be capable and caring the entire time Jim was under his care. My husband felt he was in very good hands at CCC and ultimately, his prostate cancer went into remission!

At the end of 2013, I was diagnosed with colon cancer and met Dr. Rupesh Parikh. Who is wonderful!!! Although I was in stage 2 of cancer, I ultimately did not need to undergo chemotherapy! However, because I trust Dr. Parikh so strongly and attribute his care to my existence, I have decided to stay with CCC eventhough my insurance has changed not only once but again currently. As a result. I will change my coverage once again so that I may continue my care with Dr. Parikh.

Dr. Parikh works diligently at making sure I have all the necessary tests, scans and bloodwork required to insure my freedom from cancer and other related illnesses. I too, feel I am in very good hands with Dr. Parikh and the staff at Comprehensive Cancer at the Siena facility.

There are not enough words to express how much I appreciate Dr. Parikh and his team of doctors and nursing staff. I trust them 1000%. Even though there were hard days during my recovery, I felt safe in their hands. Everyone made me feel like I mattered and they were gonna take care of me. I had connections and conversations with the nurses that made my days there feel less heavy. They understood it was hard what I was going through and found their own ways to lighten my days in the Chemo room. He told me he was going to put my cancer in remission and he did! Dr Parikh is truly an extraordinary doctor and an even more incredible human being. From day one when I went into his office scared and confused in 2018, he and his team treated me with so much kindness, patience and respect. He’s not only an amazing, life-saving oncologist, but he has also become a lifelong friend.

Throughout my treatment I always felt heard, supported, and cared for as a whole person, not just as a patient. I came in with a lot of strong opinions about my care, and never once did he make me feel judged or dismissed. Instead, he listened with compassion and guided me with his expertise to make the best decisions for my health.

I have been waiting until now in order to see if there was any changes in the way this office operates. First of all Dr Parikh is really good. I was impressed with the way he handles his patients. The problem is with the front desk and answering service. I have called three times in order to get a referral for a CT scan I needed before seeing Dr Parikh. Called 4 times to set an appointment and also to get the referral, waited for over and hour and half each time. I sent an email, and nothing. I had to drive all the way to the office to see if they could help me out. Once I got there this staff is extremely rude. They ignore you. After two months I am looking to change and see another doctor because of this

Dr Parikh is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor. He cares for his patient. I was diagnosed with lung cancer and he sent me to do all kinds of tests, PET scan, CAT scan and brain MRI to be sure where my cancer was what kind of cancer I had. He also recommended the pulmonary Doctor. Dr Aftab did my biopsy so Dr Parikh could move forward with my treatment. He looked at all my medication and put my arthritis meds on hold so it does not counteract the treatment. He also gave tears my anemia. After my cancer treatment, I do not have any nausea because he gives me daily anti nausea pills. I’m so lucky Dr Parikh for my cancer treatment. I think I will beat my cancer because he cares!!!

Was refused treatment by the office due to their own fault. Their scheduler cursed me out over the phone and refused to get me a stat appointment. This was 1.5 month ago. My tumor markers have increased without any treatment.

The person who cursed me out illegally stated that I had a “bad interaction with the provider.” I never saw a provider because of refusal and neglect. Delayed my care due to falsified information notated. Unprofessional would never recommended this establishment.

I have reported to the state board for review and possible fines of this provider office.

This is my 10th year with Dr Rupesh Parikh. He still folllows my secondary Desmoid sarcoma closely as they can become very aggressive and grow quickly. It is a great comfort to know he listens to my concerns and keeps my followup closely monitored. I use the Patient Portal messaging as needed and the staff follow up appropriately. He was able to find a chemotherapy to shrink my secondary tumor to half and we watch that it stays there. He is very knowledgeable and keep on top of my labs and blood conditions issues. I would recommend him for any cancers or blood conditions. He knows his stuff.
He helped me get my daughter, an AF Major stationed at Ellis while I did six months of Adryamycin. It is very comfoting to have a back up person with an xtra set of ears at follow up Dr visits and chemo sessions. Sharon Stingley

When I first came to CCC I was welcomed from the front desk to the office of Dr. Rupesh Parikh who could not have been more welcoming and thorough in getting information to address my needs and condition. I cannot lavish enough praise on Dr. Parikh. If you are looking for an oncologist I HIGHLY recommend him. He is detailed & communicates information in a way you can understand. No judgements. No rushing. He listens and you have a say so in your care and options. It is a busy office and SOMETIMES your wait time is a bit long but he is well worth the wait. Everyone there obviously has cancer and some patients may just need extra attention not accounted for by a scheduler. The office and other supporting staff are simply WONDERFUL and professional- even when you're having a bad day- and you will. I had some horrible experiences before landing with Dr. Parikh. When ya find a good one stick with him! The Chemo room at CCS St. Rose is the best. The Radiation side is also equally professional and efficient.

I was referred to Dr Parikh by my pulmonary doctor who went out of the way since my cancer is throat and had nothing to do with my pulmonary issues. After seeing Dr Parikh yesterday for my first consultation, my wife and I were extremely impressed with his compassion and his communication. While cancer is frightening he helped put us at ease. He is putting together my treatment team and we feel this is the right place for us. The entire staff from front office to back were extremely helpful and caring. We have many specialist here in the valley but Dr Parikh and Dr Changawala are my favorites. They were on time and no hour and half waiting to seeing the doctor.
