Please read this before you choose this dental place for services
I took my son there for a routine checkup. They performed x-rays, and then, without telling me proceeded to clean his teeth mind you they did not let me in the room. I have Texas that they started texting me a couple of days before my appointment and notified me that child that was over. I believe the age of seven could go in the room by themselves due to their rooms being small so the parents had to wait outside That was weird in itself. Anyhow, we went to the appointment. They did the x-rays and they did the cleaning they didn’t tell me they were gonna clean my son‘s teeth. They just proceeded to do that again. I had to wait in the waiting room because they didn’t allow me in there. Then when my son comes out which his comprehension skills are a little bit beneath, so he didn’t quite understand everything that the dentist was saying and the dentist was explaining it to him as if he was an adult and he’s not he’s a child so when I went up to the reception, I asked if I could speak to them in regards to the procedure that took place as well as a result of my son’s x-rays, the dental assistant, that was there which was a female she told me that they did cleaning and that my son had three cavities that needed to be filled, and that the co-pay would be a very high co-pay on top of them, charging my insurance mind you I don’t have free government insurance. I don’t have Medicaid. I’m not on adding government assistance. this is hard earned money. I have work insurance and my insurance is actually pretty good and I’m pretty sure they figured that out really fast. I told them he has three cavities they said yes I just found that very weird and odd because my son doesn’t eat junk doesn’t drink soda doesn’t eat candy flosses and brushes his teeth regularly so it just didn’t seem Right I did schedule the appointment though. I canceled it twice. The third time I scheduled it’s for scheduled for June, I called them and I told them if there was anyway that I can see the x-rays before I let them perform the cavity fillings on my son the girl that answered the phone said well you can ask them and see if they will allow it per HIPAA I have the right to obtain and hold any information whether it’s medical dental even psychiatric information for myself and my children. That’s another thing that was just weird.

So me being concerned and feeling kind of fishy about everything that was going on from the procedures to the cavities I scheduled an appointment at another dentist who had very good reviews and I actually took my son in there today. They completed x-rays as well on my son, the dentist came in and looked at my son‘s teeth. Did a thorough exam and said your son‘s teeth are pretty good. He doesn’t need a cleaning or anything. We can schedule for a cleaning in six months if you would like And I looked at him I said does he have any cavities? They said no he has no cavities, which is very odd because here at tooth fairy dental they said my son had three cavities in the front of his teeth. We’re going to charge my insurance and charge me a high co-pay to inflict pain that was unnecessary to my son to fill these cavities that are nonexistent to charge my insurance and to make all this extra money, not considering that this is gonna be painful to a child, but they are doing this for money. This place is fraudulent and it’s going to be reported to the BBB and any other source that I can report them to in regard to how they are illegally pulling money from insurance and charging insurance illegally. God knows how many other children and parents they’ve done this to before you go to this dentist. Please make sure that they are thorough that they explain it to you and that they show you The x-rays because they literally just almost failed something that was not necessary for my son charge my insurance charge me co-pays and my son didn’t even need this procedure because there was nothing wrong with my son‘s teeth

Worse dental office I have experienced. Overcharge me after they get approved from my insurance, still ask me to pay for whole amount after my copay. Very unprofessional. I refuse to pay since it’s totally wrong and they said my son can’t see dentist today if I don’t pay. Very disappointing dealing with them.

I don't recommend this place for anyone. First they tromatized my son. He gets such bad anxiety going to the dentist all because they told me he was to old for an adult to go in the room with him. I told them that he get gets anxiety instead im in the waiting room hearing my son scream. Second my mother-in-law decided that she was going to be petty and tell the office I was not allowed to take my daughter out of the building. My daughter lives with myself and my husband we are both on her birth certificate...... so why is the dentist office holding my daughter captive over what someone else says....that has no say in my daughters life. Very unprofessional and would recommend almost anywhere else. I just hope no one has to deal with anything like this.

I've never left a bad review, but this place must be told to others. The most unprofessional establishment I have ever been in, starting with the front desk and goes all the way to the lead dentist. Their receptionist are on their personal phones while working, so they don't answer the company phone much, the waiting room has no A/C and they over schedule patients and make them wait hours in a heated room. My 3 yr old daughter had a surgery done, and a follow thru appointment was never set, when we called to get her work checked on they told us we must wait 6 months ir pay out of pocket, they are very un informal, have given us wrong information on many occasions, and they respect no one's time. Very careless with patients aswell, my daughter looked like she had been beaten by a grown man when we left the surgery. I wouldn't recommend my worse enemy to go here, find any other dentist, horrible company at all locations!

Edit: in response to the owner, we were not provided any options. We were told it is the work that needed to be done. Nor did you refer them to a specialist. Clearly you are giving responses without even knowing who you are talking about. And my child has been in pain since you did the work. Which is why we switched. Also, just to note, this is in reference to the location on Eastern.

Worst dental place ever! They performed work on my kids that wasn't needed. We were not presented with other options. My child was in pain, so went with their recommendation, but turns out they were just trying to get money out of us by performing unnecessary treatment. And they still were trying to get us to come back for more unnecessary treatment. Save yourself and your kids the pain of going here. Office staff was also VERY rude. One time we went there, we waited 2 hours before rescheduling. If I could give negative stars, I would!

Very bad customer service, they always make you wait hours for your appointment and only one doctor, the receptionists are always in a bad mood with the patients, they only talk and the doctor does not interact with the children's parents, she arrives and does something and leaves and leaves the The nurses with you aside, my son almost got the anesthesia from the other side where it wasn't and if I don't tell him that it wasn't from that side he gets upset and just doesn't get upset and not even an apology. They have canceled appointments without notifying me or when I make them for 3 or 4 months later they don't put them in the system and I arrive and they don't have me there even though I have the card with the appointment written on it.

They had attitude with me because I wasn't understanding, the Manger decides to get aggressive with me and tell me to calm down when I have had this appt for over a month and nothing was told to me about needing x-rays from their previous dentist... THE MANAGEMENT ALSO SHOULDNT BE POINTING THEIR FINGERS IN ANYONES FACE AND TALKING TO THEM LIKE THEY CAN HAVE SOME TYPE OF AUTHORITY WHEN AT THE END OF THE DAY THE DISCUSSION OF NEEDING XRAYS SHOULD OF BEEN DISCUSSED OVER THE PHONE PERIOD. Absolutely horrible going to the dentist is already very hard for kids and this doctor does not make it any easier. My daughter is autistic and they do not allow a parent in if they are not under 7 this lady was rude to my daughter when my daughter asked if I could go in with her when she started getting a panic attack. she has a cyst in her mouth that really hurts when pressured and she was trying to tell this women that she was hurting her but she wouldn't even stop to listen. I don't appreciate this kind of treatment towards my daughter and we will definitely not be back. If I could give her 0 stars I would. You work with children and should know how to have a little compassion for children who have a hard time.

My kid has been coming here for over two years. Staffs are nice and friendly. Everything is easy and quick. Unfortunately my 4 year old Had two cavities. First and last time I go to this site, I thought they knew how to treat children with autism but I see they don't! Warning if you come here with a child over the age of 7 and a little one like a toddler or baby and you are alone, you cannot enter to speak with the dentist and she will not come out to talk to you!
You cannot go in with them! So you can tell them your concerns personally about their teeth. The child has to say! My daughter needed 2 teeth pulled and they only pulled 1! Luckily I asked and I told them I gave them the paperwork of the orthodontist that specifically says 2 teeth and which ones! This is why we need to be in there with them. It’s horrific. And if they recommend you somewhere and that place needs paperwork, this office will not reply unless you call them to do their job! Do not bring your kids here. On yelp they have horrible reviews! Ok Google it’s 4.5 I don’t understand that! They delete their reviews here for sure. I’m changing dentist after all this happen. I suggest you do the same or don’t come here at all!

They are mean and rough my daughters filling came out took them a month to fix it and they will only use stainless steel not porcelain they try to force braces on 7/8 year olds and permanent retainers when their teeth will fall out and fill in just fine. I actually want to complain about this place I took my two year old daughter there the other day to go get her teeth worked on and we were there on time and because I wasn't informed that I had to change my insurance over they gave me really hard time the lady was actually very rude to me treating me like I was invading her space or something like it wasn't important that I had to be there for my daughter so she could have her teeth fixed and so instead of getting to complete her appointment then they're going to reschedule it when my daughter really really needed work on her teeth and because of that now she didn't get to have her teeth worked on I don't think that's right I would never go there again and I wouldn't recommend anybody go there because their whole dis manner towards people is very rude and polite

On the 17 of December. I took my son to get some work done on his teeth. The dentist fillings on my sons tooth’s and that evening that he got his work done those fillings fell. My son started crying because of the pain he felt. I wanted to take him back the next day but they were closed. I waited until Monday when they open their doors and I took my son to the dentist and I was shock that it was closed for two weeks until January 5. I called the number they gave me for emergencies and they said that they don’t have any doctors that can see my son. The fetal place didn’t even care that one of their patients had pain. I told them that the doctor did a really bad job and I told them that they had to fix it. They reply that they don’t have a dentist right now and we are more then welcome to them him to the ER. I told them are you guys going to pay for the bill for that and they said no it’s our responsibility. I told them that I paid you guys todo a job that they failed to do cause insurers of helping my son out they ruined his teeth. I don’t recommend this place at all for your kids dental they do bad service and instead of helping your kids teeth they will ruined them. I took my son to another doctor and now I have proof with the X-RAYS that they did a bad job. They ruined two teeth for their bad professionalism that they have there. I’m not sure how they are in business. Don’t take your kids there at all and stay away from that place your children don’t need to go through what my son went to.

Expect to wait in your car for 40 minutes after you call them or go inside to check in so my daughter's appointment was at 10am and they called her in at 10:40am this has happened the last 3 times I've been here. This is the second time bringing my kids here and I regret both visits. The first time coming was close to their closing time s(which they scheduled) i felt like they rushed through my kids and now I'm here today and have been waiting for more than 45 mins in the heat inside the car, my appointment was SCHEDULED for 11am. I called to check in and they said it would be 15-30 min wait time. Went in to check when my kids were going to be seen and it was another 20-30 mins. This is ridiculous I get the whole pandemic but maybe you guys need to schedule better to not have these kids waiting in the heat. I'm really upset. Do not believe a word they say, if your child needs surgery they say you have to get a 50 dollar deposit that you get back! They refuse to submit a referral to the insurance company, want to know why because they have one contract with an anesthesiologist and oral surgery center. Thats incorrect they can not do that!!

I didn’t even get to step foot in this place before deciding I absolutely do NOT want to go here. The reception is awful. I called Tuesday morning to schedule 2 appointments and they wouldn’t answer my call, and their voicemail was full. I called about 5 times before going to their website. You can request an appointment online and it literally states on their website that they will call you back same day to schedule. They never called. I called later that afternoon and finally someone answers just to tell me the Sahara location is closed on random days so I have to call tomorrow??? I call the next day 10 am and she tells me her system is down call back later. LOL what a JOKE this place is. Needless to say they will not be getting business from me and my 2 children, SORRY!

This place is horrible! I called on a Monday to set an appointment for my 3week old to have a consultation for lip tie. When I called they made it seem like they were available right away to see us the following day at 10am. We get there , there’s 8 other people in the waiting room who have been waiting for god knows how long. 10:30 comes around & NO ONE has been called. I finally said something because I wasn’t even there for work to be done JUST for someone to take pictures of my daughter lip tie. 10:45 & I finally get called ONLY because I bugged them to be seen. When we got to the back (which is the only reason why they’re getting 2 stars) a young Asian lady , very pretty was the only person who knew how to PROFESSIONALLY speak to upset clients. She answered all of my questions that I had & even explained things I had already known that she didn’t know I knew.
Truthfully debating on even going back to get the procedure done with them or finding somewhere else .

Id give it 0 stars if possible. One of the Male staff members spent 10 mins arguing with me saying that it was my daughter's fault that one of the cavities they filled cracked the tooth. My daughter is 5 i told them after they filed it it was bothering her and 2 weeks later it cracked in half. The guy had the nerve to tell me that because i wasn't there when it cracked i can't say it wasn't her fault. A 5 year old can't with one finger crack her own tooth. She hadnt complained about it before the filing and we came here to get it fixed not get a lecture on how it's her own fault. He is terrible and i am shocked at the service i recieved here.

No, I did not say I was happy after the manager apologized for what happened. And I’m not removing my review. My experience was terrible and being apologized to after I let others know what happened in a review does not change that fact.

Yo tuve una mala experiencia , la doctora no tenía nada de paciencia ella quería que se haga lo q ella quiere y cuando le dije que buscaría una segunda opinión que gracias ella me miro como si me odiara , horrible experiencia yo creo q si un doctor te dice q va a sacar muchos dientes a tu hijo obvio vas a buscar una segunda opinión porque no. No siempre puedes aceptar lo q los doctores quieren , al menos yo soy así , y siempre me quedo con el doctor que me da mas confianza , ahora llevo a otro dentista en Henderson, muy bueno tienen paciencias y el lugar muy amplio

Yikes. Every time there is a complaint review about this place whoever is responding has every excuse in the book along with poor examples and fake “I’m sorry’s”. Doesn’t sound like the place I would want to take my child.

This place rips you off. We scheduled a appointment to have our son go to surgery and had to put $50 dollar deposit down in case of no show. We arrived at 8:30 for a 9:00 appointment and as 10:00 comes around we're told that there is 4 people ahead of us and it would be at least 2hrs to be called back and the procedure would take 2hrs as well, so we would be there for 4hrs. We had to pick our daughter up by 1 to go to another doc appointment later so we had to leave and when we called TOOTHFAIRY DENTAL to explain this we were told that we lost our deposit and had to pay another $50 if we wanted to reschedule. This is soo wrong

My son is not even 2 years old yet, so it was his very first time seeing the dentist. The dentist that saw my son was an Asian woman, she was not very kid friendly at all. Didn't talk to him or ask anything. When they came in they just said they will start with a cleaning. She told me to hold my son's arms down. The cleaning device makes noise, so it being my son's first time getting his teeth cleaned, he freaked out and starting crying and screaming. NO one made any effort to make my son COMFORTABLE at all. He is terified. Horrible experience. I think that's unprofessional. I assumed they would be good with kids... they are not. The front office was kind of nice but that's it.

Took my daughter last week and it was super hot in the waiting area when I complained about the heat and crowding in the front they moved us back to the rooms and it was even worse it was extremely hot and humid. I don’t understand why they had so many people there at once maybe bad a scheduling or bad time management by the office but it is horrible conditions for everyone in there. It was truly unbelievable.

Great customer care...Seriously i had been SOOOO ANXIOUS & NERVOUS about getting my toddlers in for their VERY FIRST DENTAL APPT EVER, but Toothfairy children's dental made it a phenomenal experience... seriously, neither of kids (2yrs old & 4yrs old) did not panic AT ALL....not one single tear was shed... i was BEYOND proud & impressed!!!! Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a children's dentist....!!!

Had the worst experience here which is weird because I’ve been with them for years and it seems like the past two years they have been slacking on their customer service. The girls from the front seat are lazy and unknowledgeble. I had an issue with my insurance so the girl asked me if i has a letter stating the issue i told her i did but i didn’t have it with me and I’ve been to several doctors where they help u fix it With just a call The girl refused to call the insurance to confirm instead she told me to get it fixed and make another appointment. I asked her if i would bring the Letter if they can take my daughter she then looked confused and told me no because the system needed to be updated. Then i told her then why would u ask me if i have it. She then looked at the second girl and she said u have to call this number and have them updated so i asked her wouldn’t it be the same thing if u call to confirm then they looked at the doctor and she explained that they were both wrong even if i call or bring the letter i need to fax over some papers to my insurance before they can update it. My issue is if they knew that there was an issue and how to fix it why didn’t they say that when they called to confirm the appointment or why didn’t they call me to let me know before driving there that my daughter would not be able to be seen. Until the issue was solved it only took the girl 2 seconds to tell me there was an issue why didn’t she check before confirming my appointment and let me know in that call. It’s extremely frustrating and a waist of my time and my daughters school time as well. They have lost a costumer that has been with them for years.
