I came in initially worried about getting a Pap smear and pelvic exam done. I’ve heard painful things about these exams and was terrified and I communicated this to Tara. I came to them after I had an emergency appendicitis removal and they found a 12cm ovarian cyst that’s been the ROOT cause of all my pain. I was horribly released from the hospital in pain and was told “goodluck, find an OBGYN” .
My mother came across this office online and I called immediately. I was initially told I could get in as a new patient but the surgeon OBGYN (Dr. Staci McHale) wouldn’t be available until April. I was CRUSHED and in fear. but I took the appointment anyways.

Tara Harris IMMEDIATELY validated my immense pain, took it upon herself to text/call Dr. Staci while I was there and explained the urgency. Due to both their extreme compassion, they scheduled me for an emergency surgery the very next day!
Thanks to them, I finally had answers and results. I’m finally healing and feeling like myself again after months of misdiagnosing. I will forever be grateful for them giving my life back to me.

When they made the switch to WHASN I already knew it would go downhill based on my previous experience. I loved new beginnings before the change.

I schedule my yearly a year in advance at the end of each appointment. They called me nonstop before my appointment a year ago saying they need to cancel because they already scheduled someone else. Then, day of they call me asking where I am because I had an appointment which was really frustrating because I was available not them.

Fast forward to 2026, I call to make a new appointment and was denied because my insurance wasn’t accepted there. I asked to just pay out of pocket and they told me it’s considered fraud and they would not take me. I’ve never heard that before and am extremely disappointed.

I came to WHASN after a frustrating experience elsewhere for perimenopause concerns, where I felt treated like just another patient and was prescribed hormonal pills without much discussion. After researching potential side effects, I knew I wanted a more thoughtful approach.
From my very first visit, Dr Tara [even though her title is Nurse Practitioner, I call her Dr] made a difference. She truly listened. I never felt rushed or dismissed.
Rather than immediately attributing everything to perimenopause; she ordered bloodwork and noticed I was extremely low in iron and anemic, something that had not been emphasized before not even my primary doctor had addressed this issue. We focused on treating that first, including a GI referral for a colonoscopy/endoscopy and iron infusion. Over time many symptoms I assumed were perimenopause improved.
Dr Tara truly 'peeled the onion' to understand what was really going on, instead of offering a one-size-fits-all solution. She saw me first as a human being, then through the eyes of a woman and finally with the clinical judgement of a medical professional. That kind of care has no price, no tangible value.
My husband and I are incredibly grateful. I highly recommend Dr Tara and WHASN to anyone looking for thoughtful, attentive and genuinely care.

It doesn't matter when you appointment is or what it is for, you will be waiting for at least 2 hours until you can see a doctor. I have been coming to this office for a few of years and every appointment I have waited at least an hour after going to the exam room, before being seen by the doctor. That's if the doctor doesn't cancel you appointment after you have waited for a while, due to an emergency. Dr. Mchale is a good dr. But she merged with whasn & they are horrible. Years back they tried to double bill a bill of mine. They charged my health insurance and then sent me a bill for the same. I paid my copay upfront. I told them years back if it was an issue send it to collections so I can show collections how you double billed. they never did cuz they are running a scam. Well now I won't be seeing dr. Mchale anymore because she decided to merge with them and they wanted payment for said bill from like 7 years ago.

I have heard from other patients that it has been a nightmare of billing since their merger about 30 days ago. They can't explain what is being billed just you owe X amount and if you don't pay you can't see dr. I used Dr. Mchale for my last pregnancy and she and her office were amazing. Now it's sad to say I won't be seeing her or referring to her anymore.

I have been with Dr. Staci Mchale since 2020 and she has delivered both of my beautiful and precious children. She delivered my son back in July 2020 and just recently she delivered my daughter in May 2024. Dr. Mchale is the best OB I have ever had! She is very thorough and detail oriented, which I love because I am very much the same way and she puts the best interest of her patients first. I also just had a procedure done to get my tubes removed and the procedure went smoothly and I have very minimal pain. I know that sometimes the waits can be very long and frustrating when going to the office for your appointment as you guys can all see within the other reviews. However, she is most definitely a Doctor that is worth the wait. I think people forget that she is only one person and she is not only seeing her patients in the office, but she's also sometimes delivering babies at the hospital as well. Her work ethic is phenomenal and she really takes the time to listen to you and your needs.

The staff are also wonderful, Tim, Carrie, Ashley, and Celeste to name a few are beyond amazing, and have great personalities! I can't remember the lady's name who takes the ultrasounds, but she is a blast to be around also as her personality is very lively, and she makes you feel at ease each time you come in for an ultrasound especially if you're a nervous wreck like me lol.

Overall, I would highly recommend this practice because the pros most definitely outweigh the cons and when coming here I always know that I'm in good hands!

McHale was running an hour and a half late and given me the option to reschedule this would be different but unfortunately this is the second time this has happened. Unless you have your entire life to wait in a doctor’s office CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!!

You said this is due to the transition to new beginnings being bought out by women’s health association of southern Nevada. That is not what I was told when I had asked why I waited an hour past my appointment time and then was told I would have to wait another half an hour to be called back to see Dr. McHale. You also stated patients where notified of the change which is a lie because I was not notified and if I was I would have canceled my appointment due to the fact your office was bought out by WHASN due to the fact that the last several doctors I saw that were associated with WHASN where completely negligent with the care of my pregnancy and that lead to my child dying and having to be put into emergency surgery to bring him back. I will NEVER recommend your office to anyone ever again as even your response to my review was negligent and a bold face lie.

The front desk lady is so rude, not professional at all. The wait see a doctor is about 2 hrs and sometimes even move. Never this place again.

Beautiful location but very poor customer from receptionist Yesenia. Due to the fact the receptionist is the first one at the door makes the whole experience poor. Wouldn’t recommend visiting if you’re a new patient complete disrespectful of your time.

After being dissatisfied with my experience with WHASN for my first pregnancy, I am so grateful to have found Dr McHale for my second pregnancy. From all of my checkups to my delivery, it has been a great experience. During my deliver, I was so grateful she arrived at the hospital very fast once she got a call to come to the hospital. Dr. McHale has great bedside manner and is very gentle. She always takes the time to answer all of your questions and genuinely cares for you.
The ultra sound tech (I believe her name was Bree) and NP Janice are amazing as well.

I have been seeing Dr. McHale for 8 years, She has been an angel to me. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to doctors but she makes me feel safe.

She has always been patient, understanding, and kind. She has advocated for me when I couldn't. Her and everyone I have delt with in the practice has always made sure my concerns are always addressed and that I am taken cared off. She has always made sure that patient care was never compromised. They can have a bit of a wait sometimes but I never minded it because I know that I am seeing a provider who truly cared for the safety and well being of me and my baby.

She is amazing.

As someone who has had a hard time finding good care in the valley, I can't recommend Dr. McHale enough. She's attentive and listens to all of my concerns. She delivered my first baby and made sure everything I wanted happened. I feel valued as a person from her, not just a means to an end. I can't recommend their office enough

Wonderful doctor and staff! Also VERY clean . I had the opportunity of having Dr. McHale deliver my first child and now second child . She’s kind and gentle. She provides information in a way that’s understandable which I really appreciate. Yes sometimes the wait can be long on some days (not all the time I’m usually in and out) but it’s worth it especially to know that everyone gets the same level of care thoroughness. From the receptionist/nurse and doctor this was the most professional and nicest doctors office. Every appointment i was greeted and checked in. Having conversation with each employee there who knew my name and always asked how i was doing. Then the actual delivery of baby, was the most calming and reassuring experience. I will recommend this office every time.

I highly recommend Dr. McHale. I have not been in better care. She has helped me diagnose my issues, and take the steps to treat them well. She is attentive to issues and does not rush you out. For reference, I started seeing Dr. McHale when I was pregnant with my son in 2020. It’s been almost 4 years and I just had my annual.
