To keep it quick and simple: Dr. Wolfson and his entire team are absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend them enough! They were so incredibly caring, endearing, and knowledgeable. It was a breath or fresh air and they truly showed compassion every step of the way.

If you're someone like me, someone deathly afraid of doctors, afraid of pain, had not so great to downright traumatic experiences with other doctors in Vegas, does not go to doctors basically at all, and never had a primary care doctor before even at my old age and you're reading this; chances are youre looking for a great, kind, and understanding doctor like myself.

Well look no further than Dr. Wolfson and their team. My manager recommended Dr. Wolfson to me as she and her mother were treated the absolute best by them. She was never made out to seem crazy about what she felt and he really showed understanding and fixed her ailments!

I was really scared, but every single team member was compassionate and sweet! They were not condescending in the slightest and never made me feel stupid or ashamed. They wholeheartedly listen to you and really make you feel at ease and offer great advice. As someone who has very little knowledge on paperwork, processes, and insurance they were just incredibly helpful and understanding. I'm sorry for rambling, but everyone here deserves their flowers because they are excellent. I hope my review can help someone that doesn't know where to go, but needs help!

I’ve been a patient at Wolfson Medical Center for over 15 years. I went to the Box Canyon location for the first time the other day and it was a great experience. The office is very nice, and the staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The office manager, Mariam has been an employee for Wolfson since I started going there and she has always been kind and helpful. Wait was a bit long when I first came in. Appointment was at 2:30, arrived at 2:20, I asked at 3:15 if it is normally a long wait - receptionist said no today was unusual. Got called back around 3:35 and was out before 4pm. There was a time that I contemplated leaving him because the people that worked for him were horrible. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wolfson for over a year, and whenever I’ve needed an appointment, his office staff has been consistently accommodating. Recently, just before Christmas, I had an urgent need to see Dr. Wolfson, and they were able to schedule me for the very next day.

My appointment was the last one of the day, but I arrived about 15 minutes late due to unexpectedly heavy Las Vegas traffic. Normally, I would have needed to reschedule. However, after I explained the situation, I was asked to wait while a very kind staff member spoke with Dr. Wolfson. He graciously agreed to stay late and see me.

I don't understand the negativity of some reviewers. I'm guessing that some people need to place the blame of their own lifestyle choices, or unfortunate medical outcomes on a doctor. Or maybe sometimes, upon arrival, the wait to be treated is longer than they had expected. For more than ten years, I've had nothing but positive experiences at Dr. Wolfson's practice. It's easy to schedule an appointment. Even next day appointments if available. There were a few visits where I have had a long wait in the lobby. But nine out of ten times I'm in and out in about thirty minutes. The staff is friendly, efficient, and competent. I'd name names, but don't want to leave anyone out. I've got ongoing medical issues that often require referrals or lab work, and most times that stuff gets done within a few days. The clinic, from lobby to exam rooms, and bathroom are impeccably clean. Which is another testament to a competent staff. As for the Doctor himself, I'd say he's an above average physician. I like the fact that his suggestions are just that. He'll tell you what course of action, or meds, that he recommends but won't argue if I do not feel that it would work for me. I really like that he actually hears what I'm telling him, before making up his mind. This is rare for doctors that I've seen in the past. You know, "The my way or the highway" people. If you're looking for new friendly, caring knowledgeable, quality doctor, give Wolfson Medical a try.

They dont verify your insurance until you get there which is a waste of time. Change your policies, verify insurance before people wait and come all the way to your office. They're not even apologetic or can answer why they don't verify until you get there. I even had secondary PPO insurance and they wouldn't accept it.

Dr. Wolfson is good but the office staff at both locations is absolutely awful. I was really sick during my follow up appointment time and couldn't come. No problem, I paid the no show fee without question. Now I call to get my annual schedule and discover they blacklisted me without any exception, so I could only do walkins and have massive wait times. It kills me to see on these negative reviews on here. Doctor Wolfson has been my doc since 2014, and I’ve never had any problems or issues with anything. Keep in mind I almost go to his office once a month for my medicine refills. I never have to wait on hold when I call for a new appointment (since I’ve been a patient, I’ve always get in within 24 hrs of me calling), the wait time is between 10-15 minutes. Even the times I’ve been hospitalized Wolfson took it upon himself after business hours or the weekend to come see me in the hospital to make sure I was ok. His office staff feels like family and has always treated with the the utmost respect and compassion since I first came to the office. If you want a doctor that cares about you and you are always greeted with a smiling face then this is the place for you. Don’t listen to these other reviews with people that haven’t been his patient or just come in when they are sick, as a patient for many years I trust all my care to Dr. Wolfson and his staff. ❤️

Don’t ever go here!! This place has zero care for patients. The girl at the front desk couldn’t get past not having the back of the insurance card even though I had the app and email with the information. The emergency room found it. She was not knowledgeable and unprofessional in helping me while I was in pain. I even agreed to pay cash and she had a horrible attitude. They made it harder and harder for me to get care and I have insurance (wether in network or out, I was in need of care). No one in pain or coming into a medical office should have this experience. Doctor Woolfson Almost killed me with a mis diagnosis.
Fresh from a minor surgery I went to Dr Woolfson Complaining of Fever, Chills,Cough and was prescribed a common low grade antibiotic, and returned a month later with the same symptom's. a total of 4 times over a 4-5 month period and woolfson did not get it right. And assistant doctor refused my request for additional testing as I told him something was seriously wrong, and he refused.Eight days later, I went to see another doctor in California and after meeting him for the first time and describing my illness he knew what it was after 30 minute exam without bloodwork. 3days later I was hospitalized for the first of 2 times with a severe staff infection. $250000 in hospital bills later,I am okay but doctors have told me I have permanent heart damage, and a un successful attempt to sue Dr Woolfson as he dug in and was willing to fight hard in court and my lawyer got cold feet and woolfson ran out the clock on my case.
This doctor was also my sisters, and brother in laws Dr, and they too moved on from him, due to serious problems with his care, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY from this doctor. You have been warned

I was Dr.Wolfson's pt since 2017. He is ok , but front clerks are so rude. my job changed and got new medical insurance . I notified them over the phone and scheduled an appoinment. Over the phone the clerk said that it's fine. Just bring your new insurance card so we can make a copy of that and ... . I hate writing anything about anyone but I feel that I need to share this with any new patient wanting to see Dr Wolfson,I’m a New patient and I really liked Dr Wolfson but when it comes down to getting a prescription filled you might as well forget about it because I have COPD and I’m on Heart Medication and also Sleep problems along with Heartburn problems and I have had to call several times along with my pharmacy and I did finally get my inhaler and my heart medication but this was after I had run out of everything, and I’m still waiting to get a refill on my sleeping pills and my heartburn pills but the way I feel about this is if you can’t get your meds filled then what use is it going to a doctor, and by the way I was told on 3 different occasions when I called that my scripts were sent over to the pharmacy and this was not true at all,too be honest with you I just don’t understand it,if the doctor doesn’t want me on my medication then he should of said something to me so that I wasn’t waisting his time or mine and then I could of made other arrangements.

Multiple calls to the office and they kept dragging their feet until it was so late they required me to come in for another appointment. It's my own fault. I wouldn’t even give them a one star. I spoke with 4 of the employees, none of them being Dr. Wolfson. I never got any respect. When scheduling my appointment the lady on the phone was disrespectful. I went in to get a test and injection. They told me to come back after picking up my prescription to get injection. When I went to go pick up my prescription, the pharmacy told me it wasn’t in the system and to come back in an hour. So, I did. No prescription was ready and I called Dr. Wolfson Medical Center, it was sent straight to voicemail. I called multiple times and a lady answered and put me on hold. After being on hold for 6 minutes she picks up the phone and I said “Hello” and she hung up on me. I tried again to call back multiple times and they sent me to voicemail after it rang multiple times. Apparently they sent it to the wrong pharmacy and it was “automatically” entered in as a pharmacy but I confirmed my pharmacy at my appointment. A different lady called me back after I had been waiting for 5 hours to pick up my prescription. And they said “they never would say to come back the day of and I needed to schedule a new appointment.” That same day they said they wouldn’t know how long it would be and it took 7 hours for the prescription to be filled and I still had to go to the wrong pharmacy. I went back to get the injection and test took an hour. What a waste of a whole day and a half. HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND.

I absolutely hate this doctor and their staff. I went in as a new patient and ended up waiting 2 hours before I would see the doctor, he saw me for 5 min with bare minimal concern for my medical issues. A couple weeks later, I came back to do blood work and was told they did not have the equipment to perform a blood draw so they gave me a sticky note with some directions on it and sent me on a scavenger hunt to an outpatient center a few miles away. I had to wait and additional 1-2 hours before seeing the person who would draw my blood. I then drove back to the Wolfson’s office to be told that I could not go back in to see the doctor. I strongly urge you do not go to this office and find a different doctor.

The 2 times I saw him was in the afternoon and he looked exhausted and was ready to walk out the second he walked in. His staff requested 2 heart specialist referrals for me and the 1st one didn't take my ins. and the second never answered the phone after about 12 automated transfers. On the last transfer you can leave a message but they never call back. I ended up finding a specialist on my own. When I called to get a script called in he refused to call it in as the dose was to high. He said I would need to have a psych evaluation for 20mg day of Lexapro. 10mg day is the minimum which stopped being effective after over 10 years of taking. Dr's. prescribe up to 50mg day for severe anxiety. My new Dr had no issue prescribing that dose. I think he had an agreement with a psychologist to send mental cases his way for a nice payoff. Wolfson is the one who needs a psych eval.

When I first walked in the door I saw their horrible fish tank in knew I was in trouble the lady in front of me didn't have a mask on the receptionist didn't say one word so I took my mask off when I got to the receptionist she told me oh so you have to wear a mask meanwhile the young man working right behind her didn't have a mask on so I asked her what about these two people oh I didn't see them she said really well can I look at all of the furniture in the office it's all tore up rattycatty ripped up can I look at all the people that they're trying to push in there at the 8 appointment which was up to at least 10 and it wasn't even 8:10 yet so I walked out of that place if you want to go in there go right ahead but the office staff in there is absolutely worthless and if you read on I'm not the only one to say this what a joke of a doctor's office reception area and staff

The staff at this office are completely useless and they act like they hate there jobs, when they qork in CUSTOMER SERVICE! The Dr. wrote me a paper prescription for a controlled substance, which the pharmacy won't take cause it has to be faxed in. Then they have the nerve to get mad at you for bringing up their mistakes. I'm still waiting for my medication for my insomnia, and having horrible sleep while I wait. Don't waste your time here. I've contacted the proper authorities that deals with businesses such as these. They've been doing this to their patients for years now, and it's time for action to be taken. This doctor & this office staff is an absolute joke. The doctor refuses to listen to my fiancée about her issues & won’t try to help her at all. He won’t get her the proper dosage of medication and actually REDUCED it without her knowledge when she asked for a raise in dosage. The staff is rude & unprofessional. I always have a good experience with this Office(Box Canyon) I love when I come in and is greeted by name. Staff is polite, Creed is the best...very helpful and always so pleasant .Mary is straight forward and professional I love her attitude. And I can't leave out Katie in the lab . Dr Wolfson has been my primary care physician for about 17 years! He’s a great Dr! I’ve seen him at all his offices at some point and the staff at all the offices are actually really nice! I’ve read through these reviews and it seems to me that people don’t understand that (1) they’re not the only patient the office staff is trying to help (2) I’ve seen grown adults act like toddlers with the fits they throw with the staff, acting completely entitled as if there the only person Dr Wolfson sees! As far as some people saying Dr Wolfson didn’t spend enough time with them, (3) there’s been days he’s seen me for 15 minutes and days he’s very busy and only sees me for 5 minutes, and I understand this bcus I know I’m not his only patient, I know he has another office with people he needs to see, people in the hospital he needs to see, when I was in the hospital he seen me every morning before the sun even came up! Dr Wolfson really cares about his patients, I recommend him every chance I get!

Horrible place barely gives you 1 min of his time at best. At worst I contacted covid and wasn't able to go in the office for a separate issue. It took me 9 calls and 5 days of suffering before I finally heard anything back and was an assistant telling me he wrote a prescription and it was the wrong one. Also there's a guy by the name of Kelly there that was treating me like I was lucky to even get a call.

The blood draw lady was the worst ever. I have an extreme fear of needles and even though I explained it to her she refused to let me calm down and actually popped the needle cover in my face. Causing me to panic more. She is very condescending. And doesn’t care what you are going through.

I had to leave the room. Then the staff became more rude and wouldn’t let me talk to the Dr afterward to tell him why I will never come back.

a few years back i needed a root canal but the dentist wouldnt do the work because my blood pressure was a bit high...came to DR wolfson and got blood pressure medicine...after a few weeks my blood pressure was under control and DR wolfsons staff was supposed to send paperwork to the dentist saying i was fine...that never happened....my tooth was cracked and i was in pain...i went to a different dentist who just pulled the tooth since i couldnt afford a root canal....the first dentist was at UNLV's dental school so a root canal was way cheaper but that didnt happen....fast forward to today...i was going to make an appointment but read the current reviews here and i decided to go to a different DR instead...not sure whats going on in his office but people do read reviews and they can make a big difference on who people choose as their DR's

First off, the doctors are great and super helpful and the only reason I want to go there. The other staff are not so much. When I arrived for my first appointment, the person at the front desk was on their lunch break and arrived ten minutes late in which I had to wait outside because the door was locked. Often times attempts to call them will go unanswered and the few times it has been answered, the receptionist sounded very annoyed and gave very short answers. Sad to see a place with some of the most helpful doctors you'll find in Vegas run by staff that are annoyed or indifferent.

My bill there is outrageously expensive and I have good insurance! Worst doctor office I've ever dealt with. I struggled for months to get them to fill my medication every month and they failed to communicate with my pharmacy every single month. I called the staff so much there, they probably memorized my number. I would go back and forth with them and my pharmacy over the same issue with their fax, every month. The staff there was always unhelpful and often felt very unprofessional and rushed. Whatever you do, don't come to this office. Save yourself the time and agony that I suffered from and go anywhere else.

I ordered my meds through my insurance, this dr STATES that I "authorized" my own pills! Therefore, he won't keep me as a patient! There is no way for me to do this, even the insurance (on recording) agrees with me! I have 7 autoimmune diseases!! When I did see him, he barely spoke to me, nd was out the door under 2 minutes!!

My fiance and myself are both new patients at the Box Canyon office and we couldn't be happier. The front desk staff and nurses are kind, courteous, and really do their job well, and the doctor as well. He listens and helps us to understand what is going on and takes the time to answer any questions we may have. We just moved to Las Vegas and I tried a few doctors as primary care before I found Dr.Wolfson and all I can say is thank God we found him. The Dr. is actually great but the office staff are not smart people and just don't seem to give a damn. I don’t have a problem with a dr being busy. His staff needs a mandatory drug test that’s for sure! We were supposed to get a referral from him 3 weeks ago- still nothing -I called when I was asked to, n still nothing. Been trying to get refills for diabetic meds for over a week now. Yep, you guessed it, my husband is out of his meds as of last night. The pharmacist called several times, I’ve called n still no results. Here’s a fun party fact for these college grads -The doctor is only as good as the staff he CHOOSES to hire. We have no choice, we have to find a new doctor. ASAP! Dr Wolfson is busy but attentive. Las Vegas is not a good place to be sick. Doctors are few in Las Vegas. Las Vegas is littered with drug addicts. The doctor’s staff is adequate. If you have to go to the hospital while in Las Vegas do yourself a favor and head for the airport is the advice I have been given.

INSANE WAIT TIMES AND SHADY BILLING. Not once in the year I was going did I have a wait time under an hour, usually it was closer to 2 hours, and that's just to get a refill. My original doctor left the practice and I wasn't given any kind of notice until I called to make an appointment. Staff was constantly messing up, loosing important paperwork and never faxing it, to the point I almost lost my job, but they were definitely sure to get the exorbitant fees for that paperwork before hand. Billing was shady, I would pay my copay then the next visit they would say I still owed $80, AFTER INSURANCE. Which is absolutely ridiculous when I was having to go every month my prescription refills. After my insurance changee I wasn't paying out of pocket then out of the blue I called to make an appointment and was told they couldn't see me because I was in collections, despite NOTHING having been mentioned the previous 10+ tines I had been in the office since changing coverage. Neither the girls who answered phones or the people who they sent me to that were supposed to be the billing department could tell me what the charge was for or even how much or where to go to find out. Absolutely asinine and useless staff.

Since I have begun seeing Dr. Wolfson and his amazing staff, just a short 4 years ago for migraines, I have been treated with the ut-most respect and care. The nurses take the time to talk to me, and are always pleasant. Yes the wait time can become a little much but so does every doctor. He has helped me get better healing wise. PA. Heide Baker is the most wonderful physician I've come across in many years! She is kind, caring, & genuinely interested in her patients health & we'll being. My little boy totally loved her, which is very unusual for him. He has ADHD & not very receptive to doctors or people in general. But her? He LOVED her & fully trusted her! Now the reason I'm talking in the past tense is because of their incompetent, rude, ghetto-ass, staff, we are no longer patients there, unfortunately! Its been a few years since we were there so I don't know if they've finally gotten rid of them or not, but I would hope so! I was seeing Dr. Diana Kirby at this location and although she's AMAZING.. sweet; genuine an very Caring.. the STAFF is unbelievably RUDE!!! they all need to be FIRED! Dr. Wolfson is too busy to consider a complaint from a patient.. He's almost as Rude as the staff! I wish Dr. Kirby was somewhere else because I ended my services at this location and found another Dr 😕... Also they double book the appointments which mean you and 4 other ppl will have a 10am appt. with an 9:30 arrival only to be sitting 3 hours! If I could've pushed ZERO stars... First off I'm a new client I had an appointment at 10:00 am with the arrival time 930 . I arrived at 9:20 and wasn't seen until 10:53 . Plus the ma run in like she's on drugs or something super late and trying to upsell me service like the dr is wonderful I see if we can help you . I'm going to need y'all to be sure . Than I seen the doctor Dr. Diana amazing she's sweet and kind and she shows compassion but that dang staff . Dr. D told me I can pick up my paper work I arrive and know knows where it is and or has it filled out . Definitely having issues with the staff in the office... I've been talking to the box canyon office. I would try to avoid this place. I had to get some help since I am out of work right now and cannot walk and rokeia in the office was called by my social worker lady and she said I was fine to be looking for jobs and working even though I still can't put any pressure on my left foot to walk. Called her back and she is full of attitude. Customer service here is lacking! I need a referral for another dr for my foot and every dr they gave me to call can't get me in until after October. Aren't they supposed to help at all in the front get me set up with a specialist if they refer me? I decided to ask to see the dr this time since last time I got the PA in hopes that maybe he can help me better and might help me walk again. They kept me on hold for 8 min and answered asking what I needed help with... Did they forget about me? They can't get me in until August so all I asked Rokea was if she could let me know if anything opened sooner and she responded super quickly and rudely that it wasn't her responsibility and I would have to call back! Terrible customer service here.

Ms Heidi Baker is a wonderful, caring doctor that makes me feel genuinely cared about. I appreciate her as it is hard to find doctors these days that will spend the time listening to, and addressing each issue that you have. However, Wolfson Medical Center as a whole is despicable. The place is dirty and the front staff is horrible. I am constantly on hold and there has been more then one occasion that I was just completely forgotten about while on hold. It takes me days(3-4) to get a rx refilled by them. My pharmacy will fax them back with a refill request and as far as I can tell through my experiences, they just ignore them. I have to call each month to get them to respond to my pharmacy's request.
