Disappointed with my online/receptionist experience. I arrived 15 minutes before my AM appointment and checked in through the text system. I received confirmation that I was checked in and that all paperwork had been submitted successfully.

After waiting outside for over 30 minutes with no communication or instruction to come inside, I finally walked in myself, only to be told that the system had not notified the staff that I had arrived and checked in.

The situation became even more frustrating when the receptionist spent several minutes searching for my information under the first name “Edna” instead of my last name beginning with “Edm…”. Once my appointment was finally located, I again asked about the check-in system issue. Unfortunately, there was never an apology for the inconvenience of being left waiting outside unnecessarily. I was simply told that I needed to come inside anyway.

If patients are still expected to physically come inside to announce their arrival regardless of the text check-in process, then the purpose and reliability of the system should be reevaluated to avoid wasting patients’ time and creating confusion.

However, once I got into my appointment at 10:15pm, everything was great. I actually received an apology from the Dentist and the young man who took my images. They did a great job explaining things, the Dentist was warm and friendly and they were able to also get me in for a cleaning as well.

I do need to have an extraction and the scheduler came in quickly noting that there were cancelations for tomorrow so I was booked quickly

I had originally planned for a one star review when I was sitting in the lobby, but behind the doors deserves a 4 star.

Thank you for the team behind the doors. Well done!! Work on your messaging and check-in process, train your receptionist about empathy and this will be a 5 star place.

Dr . Lou is absolutely amazing He Is so great at what he does . He explains everything on how & what’s going to happen even on surgery day. The staff was outstanding very friendly outgoing & med sure you were comfortable during everything. I Had 6 teeth pulled on 2/25/26 Dr Lou was absolutely amazing truly I’d recommend this location and staff anytime. THANK YOU Absolute Dental

My daughter was afraid to get her teeth pulled but the provider was more than EXCEPTIONAL with comforting her and explaining to her what’s going to happen. The provider has her limits when it comes to children being uncomfortable with procedures and listens to the child. I WILL ALWAYS GIVE HER & STAFF A 100/10 on the kids provider scale !!! WILL ALWAYS RETURN 🫡🥳👏🏾🙌🏾

This visit was better than the last but I was still very disappointed not being able to receive service due to a legitimate health issue, but I was not really given any other option aside from a Doctor's referral, and felt like I was just rushed out the door. I also felt an overall disorganization of Appointment scheduling and confusion between Phone text and in office visit check-ins, and months in between appointments. I had to book this appointment 3 months after my last cleaning service to complete it, but I am unable to now. At least I was able to get a refund.

Mackenzie was amazing! So professional and caring!! Very grateful for her hygienic expertise at Absolute Dental. Jennifer was also great. My husband and I have been receiving dental care and treatment from Absolute Dental for over 10 years and this was one of the best experiences we have had. Thank you!
