Dr Jarom Nyguyen Luu is a great surgeon. He explained everything in detail regarding my procedure that it made me more comfortable since I have bad anxiety. He extracted 4 in stead of 5 of my teeth which was advised. Then as soon as I recover I'll set an appointment with him to get fillings. I'm very happy with what hes done. It was pretty quick! Less than 10 minutes ! Thank you Dr Luu!

Its been years since I went to the dentist.
I had a very bad experience in 2003 , 8 months pregnant with my last daughter. I jsve a small mouth and the dr was uasing a dam that was too big and it was hurting. My eisdom teeth on the top finally decided to make an apperance where there was no room. I moved and the roof of my mouth got cut open. Thst was a long lssting experience. Needless to say Im loosing my front teeth . After loosing 3 on the bottom.I finally went to the dentist. Absolute was really great and patient and after talking with a really great dentis Im going to have 6 teeth pulled on the bottem and 5 on the top. Im a bit scared but im going to make this happem. I cant waite to eat a pieve of vorn on the cob

I did a walk in this morning and the front desk is awesome she got me situated in a timely manner and was very friendly and helpful, the assistant that took my x-rays was also awesome she was very patient and paid close attention to detail. Sat here in pain for 3 hours hoping to see a dentist the girls in front made it seem chill it was empty when i arrived they said we will try squeezing you in with the 2pm appointment all non chalant then i sat in pain for 3 hours to get re scheduled when in reality they could have been real and upfront maybe said look we have a busy schedule and we cant see you here today maybe try another location or something but no they over book themselves get so busy they cant continuously help 1 person they get so lost in whats going on i stood there for 15 mins after i was told to reschedule the ladies started helping other people.. if i could leave a negative rating i would.

People are okay however when I make an appointment at 11 I expect to be seen at the latest 11:10. It’s not until almost 12 that I am seen. They take 10 minutes looking at my teeth and I spend another 20 minutes waiting. If I had a job or another appointment or work it would be impossible to schedule around this office. Pure bullshit.

Oral surgeon was about two hours late. They didn’t do a very good job explaining what the process was going to be. To be honest, I’m not sure if my son got stitches or where exactly they cut him in his mouth. They handed me gauze and a paper. they didn’t call me when my son was awake from Anastasia. They just rolled him out door since they seen what car I was in, which was right by the front door. When I first checked them in, they asked me what pharmacy would I like to get to go to? I looked up the address and name of pharmacy and I wrote it down on the paper they gave me, but they still ended up sending it to the old one on file. To be honest, the only reason I knew that they actually sent over prescriptions was because the pharmacist contacted me. They never went over what prescriptions they were giving my child. When I asked about making a follow up appointment, they told me I should call in about two weeks when his mouth is healed Which didn’t make sense because the way their appointments are set up that will push them out 6 weeks of I waited to make an appointment. Honestly, just to get this appointment has been a whole process of months waiting. I will say the ladies at the front desk were very nice. But I would like to give a special thank you to who I believe might be the office manager, a young African-American girl. She is the one that made sure to communicate with me about this appointment with my son because I was not getting any of that from any other staff member. Always a “ we will call you back”. And she was also very helpful and made sure I got an appointment before I left. The one star I did give was for her help. Why do I stay at this dentist office you ask? Because the other locations that are way close to my house are either not accepting new clients or suggest that I stay with the same location because of his treatment & dentist.

They don't like to fill your cavities with resin. they train themselves to talk themselves out of putting cavities in. cavities only make them $300 crowns make them $1,500 so they let your teeth fall apart until you decide you need a crown big money crown instead of making money on cavities filling cavities. Bought some resin filling cavity filler on Alibaba. Filled two of my own cavities. So far working good no complaints on my work.

I had a horrible experience at this place. I’ve been dealing with an infection, a cavity, and an exposed nerve. The first time I went, everything seemed fine—they were very thorough. However, my surgery has now been pushed back three times because this office made it unnecessarily difficult to get a referral to the surgeon.

During my visit, Dr. Robbie told me that if I needed stronger pain medication than what was prescribed, I could simply call them. Now that I’ve run out of antibiotics and pain medication, I’ve called multiple times to request a refill or stronger medication since my tooth has gotten worse. Instead, I was told that Dr. Robbie never prescribed me pain medication because it was outside of his license to do so—which is a lie. I have the prescription bottle with his name on it.

When I called again, I was told that Dr. Robbie personally said he did not feel comfortable prescribing or refilling pain medication. This makes it seem as though I am abusing the medication, which is absolutely not true. I am in severe pain, with a knot on the side of my face where the infection is, and I’m still not being treated.

I have even gone to other offices within the same company to show that I am in a significant amount of pain, yet I am still not being taken care of. There is no way I will return to an office that lies to patients and falsely accuses them of substance abuse.

Let's start with the fact that they never answer the phones and you are always transferred to the call center. Had booked an appointment through the call center 3 months in advance, took the day off of work, I came in and they said they didn't have me on the schedule. I even got a reminder text along with new patient forms when I booked it. Poor communication service. The only reason they have good reviews are because they ask their patients to leave a five star.

I had an appointment at 10am I waited damn near two hours just for them to tell me my surgery was going to be about $700 total. I wouldn’t have even come to the appointment if the person who I spoke to over the phone gave me the info but they said they couldn’t since the oral surgeon wasn’t there even though the oral surgeon wasn’t the one who gave me this price. I’m not one to complain typically but I know if I would’ve been two hours or even a hour late for my appointment they wouldn’t even have seen me at that point. I’m never coming back here.

I just recently had dentures made December 2nd will be 6 months my denturesare fading you can see through them it took me forever to get an appointment and then I came in yesterday and got nothing but excuses did absolutely nothing to fix adventures other than saying you could put filling in there and if you do filling my dentures will not even fit I was told the reason why it is fading it's because the top part in the bottoms are so thin why are they so thin I knew better than to come to you because it already had a bad experience but I didn't have an option and now I'm stuck with dentures that are obviously the cheapest made dentures that can be made and my dentures that I had for 11 years are in better shape than my 6 month old dentures so yes I'm unhappy and I only seen you once through the whole process so how you tell me you love being my dentist if you would quit having your interns do all the work and start being the dentist that people with dentures deserve maybe just maybe I would have got a halfway decent pair of dentures and now I am stuck with these dentures for 5 years because Medicaid will not cover a new pair anyone reading this go to smiles they're great I wish I would have sorry not sorry for my review I usually give very good reviews and I'm sorry I can't even give you a one but I have no choice I will give you a minus five

As always our visit with absolute dental was one that we left knowing how our dental journey is going, the staff at this office was friendly, helpful and supportive. Our dentist is awesome, my child felt relaxed during her visit, as she struggles with most social interactions, but she allowed the dentist to look inside her mouth, was able to check all around and had his tools in her mouth without issue. They did notice her back molars have light stains on her teeth, and we will make sure we are addressing that issue, and they always seal her teeth to ensure that her teeth are protected. I am extremely happy with this dentist and plan on staying with them long term because it’s not easy to find such a nice dentist who’s top priority is your health care needs.

The staff at absolute dental on east lake meade are awesome. They are very friendly and caring towards us there, my sister Toni J.( who referred AD to me) and i both go there, we often talk about our visits. They laugh and joke , while making you feel comfortable sitting in that seat. Explaining ways of better taking care of your teeth, they work with gentleness , and showing concern of our, “over all healthy teeth makes us happier”. And I like that. This office is very simple, not oriented for a little ones, so If your child is not comfortable with a dentist, dont bring your child here. I did not enjoy the visit. As a matter of fact, all of the steps leading up to and including the procedure were more painful that the broken teeth that were extracted.
On Wednesy 3/19, after having the appointment made at the Ann Street location, I drove over to the Lake Mead Blvd location and in person verified and confirmed the appointment for 3/25 at 10:00.
On Friday, 3/21, I received a text reminder of the appointment, a text saying I had not confirmed the appointment and a text with a link to paperwork to fill out prior to the appointment.
On Sunday 3/23, I received another text confirming the appointment.
On Monday, 3/24, I received a phone call asking me to confirm the appointment. When I asked how many times do I have to do this, I was told "we need a verbal confirmation"
At 9:15 on 3/25, while driving to the appointment, I received a text to "click this link k when you are in the parking lot to check you in".
At 9:30 on 3/25 as I arrived in the parking lot for the 10:00 appointment , I clicked the link and checked in.
When I approached the front desk, I was asked for a name so they could check me in. I was handed a clipboard with a physical copy of the online forms I previously filled out and was told to fill these out. I did and turned them back in.
At 10:45, I approached the desk and pointed out I arrived at 9:30 for a 10:00 appointment and asked "where are we?". I was told "Your chart is up next. Three more people were called before I was finally directed into the back at 11:10.
After waiting another 35 minutes, a woman came i with finance papers showing how much my insurance would cover and what I would have to pay out of pocket. Only after I acknowledged that I would pay what was due did Dr Luu show up and start the sedation at 12:00
The entire prosess of removing 2 broken teeth under sedation took 20 minutes. I left the office at 12:30.
I don't care if every tooth remaining in my head breaks or falls out, I will not be darkening the doorway of any Absolute Dental in North Las Vegas again.
My advise to anyone considering Absolute Dental is to look for other options, even if they are outside of your insurance group. The extra financial cost is more than worth putting up with the bs they put you through.
2.5 hours of waiting to do a 20 minute procedure only after they knew they were going to get paid!

On Friday, I called to make an appointment. They told me they didn't need to make an appointment to fix my daughter's braces. She arrived and they couldn't see her because her doctor wasn't there. I have a contract with Absolute Dental, not with a specific doctor. Plus, every payment that comes out of my account costs me every dollar I work. I didn't use any insurance. What will pay for this service? They have very poor customer service and waste their clients' time. But if you miss a scheduled appointment, if you don't show up, they charge you extra.

Dental office was very clean.The Dentists had on proper protective equipment gloves and mask. Instrument Dentists and Dental Asst. answered all questions explained everything well. My gums and teeth were checked the periodontal exam went well. I was reminded that my deep cleaning was a little over due. Quality of care 100 💯

Everytime its been Worst at that place took more than one hour to come inside a room when my sons appointment was at 11 we arrived early like 10 minutes and he came into a room at past 12 at 12:15 they just removed the wires and rubber bands and said it will take more time we had another pediatricians appointment at 1 and they just gave another appointment for more then a month then he will be without the wires and treatment all that time…. All the time it’s the same I that place they take way tooo long and it doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or no….. that place and attitude of the personal sucks

0 stars, had to give them one star just to write this review. Scam scam beware do not use this dentist. Read the reviews many of the same experiences they start off nice to get your business then the next visit they flip it all around. They try to get hundreds of dollars out of you for co-pay amounts that are not true. They try to get $400 for my co pay of only $50 and if I would just get the normal cleaning like I wanted there wouldn’t be a co-pay at all. What part of your life was bumping up with I had to get done so they could try and charge me more. This place is a fraud a scammer beware do not use pay attention to all the other people who say the same thing. This is the truth go someplace else avoid being lied to.

PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!! Terrible terrible experience. I went to get my teeth pulled and they left me black and blue from my chest up. They left shards of teeth in my mouth that I had to pick out with my fingernails. They were rude. My appointment was at 11:00am and they didn’t take me in until 7:00pm. After the pulling, they took me out the back door along the street all they are interested in is charging the state Medicaid for as many procedures as possible!!!

Unfortunately due to health issues in the family I am very familiar with the usual treatment from medical office staff. Does not matter if you go to a private specialist in Summerlin, Henderson, Boulder City or small practice in a smaller neighborhood. Usually is the same story everywhere! Most staff are short, inpatient and will not allow you to talk without "Please sign in and have a seat and we will call you" many times accompanied by shaking of the finger in your face or pointing at the sign that reads "DO NOT DISTURB ME" while they carry on conversations with their co workers about dinner last night, or what the new boyfriend did or did not do....all while you patiently wait for your turn to speak. I get it, most people are rude, but if you are too tired of dealing with people (which is part of being in a front-facing customer service job) then quit! Look for something else and stop being rude to paying customers/patients. YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE THAT HERE!
I had many questions about insurance coverage (2 different insurances) and was greeted warmly and professionally over the phone. I wanted to be fully informed before I made an appointment, the person on the other line was not only patient with all of my questions, but explained everything in full detail. I had additional questions that could not be addressed at the time of my call, therefore the person on the other line (bad of me not to remember her name) offered to call me back and did so with the additional information I needed....whaaaat? Unheard of!!! So I have secured my appointment and I am looking forward to my visit. If this is they way they present themselves over the phone when you are not even a patient yet, I cant imagine what the rest of my visit will be like. I will be updating my review post first visit!

Dr. Nwaugbala is very awesome! Compassionate and takes his time with my daughter. He has THEE BEST bedside manners ANY dentist I have ever experienced. He made sure my daughter felt very comfortable and reassuring. He moves at her pace. Unfortunately she wasnt able to complete her treatment due to her own fears but there was no pushing or judgment by the Dr to get it done right then and there. He did explain the risks and follow up process but no judgment. Very calm demeanor and explained everything thoroughly. Highly recommended Dr at Lake Mead and Civic Center location.

I love these guys! I was in excruciating pain and suffering. I couldn’t sleep for days. I was seriously in need of an extraction. Although, I showed up at another location and was referred..I’m just so so happy that they got me in the same day. This place is very unorganized. The only thing great about this office is the dental Assistant. I believe his name is Eric. I was suppose to have a root canal, after I confirmed that it would happen that day because I was going to be missing work several times I confirmed,to only get there and be told that it needs to be removed. That would have been nice if I didn't waste an hour waiting and also missed work. I truly hope they get it together fast because that office is very sad. No one knows what they are doing at all. Also I had a credit of $60 that I had to discover and I was told back in December that I would receive a check in the mail. At my appt today once again I had to mention the credit and Only then was I told it would be applied to my extraction. I do not even feel that they are competent enough to do that.

Worst experience ever do not go there. First of all they have, one dentist. Don't remember his name, but he is the worst. He doesn't even say hi to you. Or by as you walk in and out of the door he stabbed me and Then had his assistant.
Stop the bleeding, He proceeded to tell me that I need to go see an oral surgeon because he knew he was making me feel uncomfortable after I had told him I don't like going to an oral surgeon.Cause I have trouble waking up but they may be go anyways. Prior to the stabbing, the gentlewas.
Taken out my teeth in the top and left to teeth. And went down to the bone, causing Me major discomfort. I have been trying to get my dentures. Sent January 3rd was my very first appointment was supposed to be March 12th but They said they Dentist will be out so now I have to wait till March 20th. Mind you, they have stabbed me. Had to fit me twice for the dentist. Because the guy made a Mistake. They didn't get the impressions correctly so they're just prolonging this. Meanwhile, I can't even get an interview because I've had No teeth 2 and a half months. I do not recommend this place at all.Worst service ever. If I could give him negative stars I would do that.

I've gone here for 2 years and I never had any issues until now, I scheduled my wisdom teeth on 10.13.2020 to be pulled out she gave me instructions, once I called to confirm my appointment she mentioned it was only a consultation. The previous lady didn't say it was going to be a consultation, so I have called off of work for an entire week, just to find out I have to reschedule for the actual treatment. BEWARE of Unethical Billing Practices. SCAM.

My visit to Absolute Dental for a routine cleaning and fillings went smoothly until I received an invoice in the mail for $1200.

The charges seemed exorbitant and didn't align with the services I had received. I paid $400 out of pocket and my insurance should of covered the rest, this was agreed upon when I sat down with the billing specialist prior to my procedures.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed several questionable items, including charges for services I hadn't requested or received. This immediately raised red flags.

When I contacted their billing department to inquire about these discrepancies, I was met with resistance and a lack of transparency. The staff seemed unwilling to address my concerns or provide a clear breakdown of the charges. This further deepened my suspicions.

DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. Stick to small family owned practices.

I started going to the Lake Mead location in North LV a month ago. I have severe anxiety related to dentistry n this office is AMAZING!
