Everyone here was awesome very friendly, very attentive, and very accommodating. I have an extreme fear/anxiety when I go to the dentist. Since I had two bad experiences at other dentists when they did extractions, I have this problem now. I told the staff at Absolute Dental and they all were very helpful in making everything so much easier. I was relieved, because Ive been dreading going back to the dentist since that last nightmare at the other dentist. They are not pushy and explain everything to you and answer any questions and extremely gentle. What a relief! I am so thankful.

A couple of weeks ago one of my fillings broke so I called Medicaid to get it fixed because it hurt quite a bit. They told me to call this place.

I had to call every single day for over a week to set an appointment. First sign their customer service was awful.

I finally get an appointment, go in for x-rays, and was told, "You need an extraction, two crowns, a bridge and a deep cleaning. Medicaid only pays for the extraction" and then tried to get about $15,000 out of me.

A friend told me that cleanings were covered so I told them I couldn't afford that or the other stuff. When I got back home, I called Medicaid.

They said deep cleanings were not covered but basic cleanings are. I was never given that option when I said I didn't have the money for a deep cleaning.

Medicaid also said that crowns were covered. So, this place tried to rip me off and have me pay for something my insurance covered.

I then called the office again and was told someone would call me back in 48 hours. Of course, that never happened.

So, I'm going to report them for fraud to both Medicaid and the dental board.

Edit: Well, my opinion of them dropped even more. I went to another dentist, got x-rays and he said I needed 4 crowns.

He said he could do the extraction for the tooth that just lost the filling but said it would make my problem worse because that tooth does 80% of the chewing so I'd start to use the other side of my mouth more.

That side has two teeth with cracks in the fillings which means it would make them crumble. So, he said since I don't have an infection or bad pain, to wait.

How refreshing. Unlike Absolute, he put my health and wallet or his own greed.

I already reported Absolute to both Medicaid and the Dental Board for fraud.

Had a wonderful experience here as a first time patient! Highly recommend Dr. Tao.
I was taken in shortly after finishing the paperwork, found the space to be comfortable, the staff kind and the doctor very patient and informative. I thought I would only get an exam and action plan due to the time/day (Saturday afternoon) yet Dr. Tao was able to get some work done right away!! Very professional work, I am impressed. Absolutely will be returning to this location as needed!

The absolute worst clinic I have ever been to. Nobody knows what their job is. Each time I’ve had to wait 30+ minutes when I had an appointment. I’ve had to fill out the same paperwork 3 times because of “a system glitch.” They billed my insurance company incorrectly and tried to force me to pay for services. I pushed back and refused to pay and they then filed properly with my insurance. They were trying to get money out of me to then turn around and double bill my insurance. Scam of a company and the incompetent staff. I would NEVER use them again.

Trash. Employee do not do their work; had to reschedule my appointment from last week be ause they didnt confirm a single thing telling me after I had verified 2weeks ago..that I had a commercial plan, they put down as medicaid. Then today I call to vfd because they didnt call me back like promised. Little I find out they did NOTHING for another week asking me the same questions as before..then telling me they have to reach out to my insurance..WHICH IS WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING FOR THE WHOLE 7 DAYS I reschedule. The OFFICE MANAGERS excuse was that the whole staff left and got replaced. In a week. Everyone left and got rehired? Bullshit lie after bullshit excuse..after poor action. Wish zero was an options because thats soooo much wasted time.
To tell me I had an x-ray last year.. having been to a dentist in years. Then say 'on it another person with you name' so we share the same insurance information that I gave your TRICE?!

This is not a troll review. I rarely review places. But this place is unprofessional, unattentive, and make weak excuses to ignore the negligence of other.
If they do this with an appointment.. I dont wanna find out whay they do with me teeth.

Note: just got a call back to tell me my insurance e had my birthday wrong, I corrected her telling her.. I work for the insurance company im covered by, I get medication, monthly doctor appointment. And opened my account to vfd my birthday is correct. Then she corrected herself..saying the system had my birthday as 10/2
I called these peiple three times in 2 weeks this being the fourth..even in this CURRENT CALL I vfd my birthday as the correct one. But they in every single moment didnt bother to uodate any info.

Call me back to throw the blame at my insurance. Only to be corrected. If they do this on appointment. I hate hate hate to see what they will do to my teeth.

O/10 will not recommend.

Zero Stars! My appointment today is 11:30am and got to the clinic 10 minutes early. Ive waited for 30 mins and ask how long is the wait because my appointment is 11:30 and i was told i need to wait for another 30 minutes. Total of 1 hour?? You giving me a valid for a short staff?? You should have told me the time i checked in and ask me if that was ok for me. This is the only day off that i have. That’s why i made an appointment. Never ever going back again!

I was just notified on 4/9/26 by a collection agency I owe these people $400 when I paid in office for all of my service back in June of 2025. I was told just now today in this call my insurance denied the teeth cleaning charges. No one bothered to notify me of this billing error until after they sent me to collections. Don’t waste your energy, go to a smaller family practice, it will save you the headache. They quoted me multiple thousands for cavities and a tooth removal so I went down the road got the same care for half the price and 80% covered by my insurance THAT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME AT THE TIME OF SERVICE and I don’t have to expect a strange $400 bill almost a year later.

I went to this dental clinic for my first X-ray using my Humana insurance, and they charged me $165 for a consultation. After the X-ray, the dentist gave me a 90 out of 100 for the root canal treatment and said I was out in a few minutes. This clinic is too expensive; I've never 1 encountered a dental clinic like this before. It's not worth it. They shouldn't be making money off patients like this.

This place is horrible!! I can’t believe the wait time is bad like what do you mean my appointment is at 3pm and I have to wait into 4pm to get seen. That’s crazy I never I mean never I have to wait to get seen over an hour. Don’t even get me started in the staff on this place. I took my daughter to get her crown fix and she was telling the dentist that it still hurts and they basically told her that she crazy and it doesn’t “hurt”. I love going here! Everyone is so nice and they communicate! They have financing and are very proactive. I am enjoying my new front teeth and I cant wait until everything is complete. I go to the location at Meadows Mall and they provide awesome service and do great work!! Thank you su much for listening to me as well. I feel heard hear which has been an issue for me in the past. Most dentists make a plan and just start charging, you get confused because you don't know what your plan is paying. And they always want to do the most expensive stuff first. Not here, they educate you before and provide payment options, that's how it should be everywhere. I get to choose which service and when, no rush!

Scheduled an appointment weeks in advance and showed up just to have them tell me they don't take my insurance - something they could have said when I provided that info. Previous visit they tried to BS me into paying for a bunch of things I didn't need based on nothing other than their own greed. Don't trust these people with you teeth - you only get one set.
Update: I just learned from my new dentist that they were lying about my insurance - so this place is just a bunch of crooks.

The oral surgeon only comes once a week. I waited about a month for this appointment just for me to sit in the lobby while it’s full and there’s not even a seat for about an hour and then trying to reschedule my appointment for about a month out again while I’m in pain for any emergency wisdom tooth removal not sure what’s going on up there in the front but something needs to be taken care of so that things can run a little bit more diligently.

I scheduled an appointment because I hadn’t been in there for 5+ years and I really needed a deep cleaning I had insurance which they knew what insurance and they obviously knew what could be done with the insurance and they did everything that they can get away with and then was like oh we can’t clean your teeth it’s not covered, but that’s the whole reason why I was there so why did you waste my time just so you can get paid for doing what you wanted to do because you wanted to get paid by screwing me out of my time wasting my time knowing very well that I wasn’t gonna be able to get what I came for yes, the people were kind, but that was what seems to be only because they were trying to get money out of me and keep me patient. Yes, they updated me every 15 minutes on what was going on what the holdup was overall highly disappointed they wasted my time and they can claim they didn’t know but they obviously do because they took me in and were doing things. I didn’t agree for paying out of pocket so they must’ve known what they could have gotten away with insurance wise.

Worst dentist ever started my nephews braces and never finished them refused to see him after seeing him for 3 plus years over guardian paper work. These people are rude and dis functional I provided proof of guardianship years ago the dentist told me they needed something different which was weird because they’ve seen my nephew numerous of times and everything was fine. Not to mention he got his bottom braces almost a year ago and has been seen three times after and still havent got his top braces put on, I switched his dentist and wouldn’t recommend!!

Everyone in the office was very professional and thorough. I went in with the expectation that I would have a long wait and this was not the case. I was greeted right away and before I knew it pulled back into an exam room for X-rays. My chief complaint was addressed immediately and we were able to come up with a Tx plan for me. I give big kudos to the attending Dentist for the day I didn’t catch his name, but man did it start to get busy and he handled all us patients with the same attitude from what I noticed and was just as thorough. Thank you for the great care, I was very hesitant due to past visits at other locations but this was just top knotch start to finish

If I could give them a zero star review I would. In this office they are not organized or sympathetic.
I had to reschedule 5 times because of them!
Those 5 times they knew something was missing and they didn’t communicate about it until 2-3 hours later of me waiting to be seen.
In one occasion the orthodontist didn’t even showed up to his shift no one knew. They had 9 people scheduled at the same time including me and they couldn’t communicate with us that the orthodontist wasn’t there. So of course I had to reschedule after 3 hours of waiste time.
They don’t care that each appointment someone has to ask for permission from work. I’m currently pregnant and for the appointment they didn’t inform me that my medical history was needed and I was already there in the office, like what did they expect me to do once I was there? They failed to tell me what documents were needed. The communication IS TERRIBLE

Absolute Dental has been, hands down, one of the most unprofessional and unorganized dental offices I’ve ever dealt with. The entire experience—from the rude and lazy front desk staff to the completely disrespectful way patients are spoken to—has been nothing short of awful.

The receptionists sit around at the desk eating and chatting instead of helping patients, and when you do finally get their attention, you’re met with attitude, eye rolls, and zero effort to actually assist you. It’s as if patients are a burden instead of the reason they have jobs in the first place.

My most recent encounter was with a staff member named VALERIE from the billing department who sent me an incredibly rude text accusing me of “rudely hanging up” instead of simply addressing a billing issue professionally. That type of personal, catty comment is beyond unacceptable in healthcare and shows a complete lack of customer service skills.

Every visit here has been marked by poor communication, long wait times, and staff who seem more interested in their phones and snacks than the people sitting in the waiting room. This place needs serious retraining—or a complete overhaul of their staff—if they want to even begin to provide respectful, quality patient care.

If you value your time, money, and dignity, I strongly recommend finding another dental office. Spare yourself the frustration and go somewhere where professionalism and patient care actually matter.

Greatest experience with Absolute Dental! They went over and beyond to accommodate my daughter and I for her braces. Unfortunately, Medicaid doesn’t cover braces unless your teeth are really bad. Absolute Dental was able to help out with financing and still get everything done the same day. I had a root canal by Dr Chen. I'm 68 years old and this was the best dental experience I've ever encountered. The worse part was getting the numbing shots. (His assistant held my hand.) Once that was completed I never experienced any pain. He had the whole procedure done in around an hour. During the whole time he worked on me I felt relaxed. I would seek out this doctor if I ever have to have a root canal again, he's the best. And his assistant was wonderful too.

The dental hygienist didn’t even take my blood pressure didn’t even ask me what I came in for they assumed it was for a general check up and she wasn’t even done doing my screening when the dentist comes in doesn’t even look inside my mouth and says … well your wisdom teeth need to be pulled out …. As obvious as that was I told him I was there for another one of my molars and he look for 2 seconds and said yeah “I mean I can do a root canal but I rather just pull the entire tooth out your insurance covers partials anyways” and I was in shock I walked out of there immediately…. Went to another dentist and they told me my molar just needed filling that after further testing I did not need to even get a root canal…. So be carful if you go there and don’t just listen to unprofessional people who just want to perform a service as fast as possible to move on to the next customer!

I had a terrible experience at Absolute Dental. From the moment I walked in, I felt rushed and unwelcome. The front desk staff was on her phone while I was asking questions, which felt careless and disrespectful. It only got worse from there. Jonathan Tao was extremely rude and unprofessional—he looked at my mouth and said “ew,” followed by “damn” in a judgmental tone. I was shocked and humiliated. I’ve never experienced anything like that in a healthcare setting. They clearly wanted to rush me out, and the overall environment was careless and dismissive. The call center needs some help finding locations near the patients home. Also they sent a txt without the full address and I couldn’t find the office. Hello there my name is Mary Woodard, as you can see from my last review I had a procedure done at an absolute dental office March 1st 2024 for a bone graft at the price of $450. They had told me my insurance does NOT cover it. After speaking with my insurance members of liberty dental, I do qualify for the $450 to be paid for under my insurance and not out of pocket. I had complained about this situation, the office at meadows mall absolute dental office had sent me a letter and check of $450 last year early spring May 2024, during this time my mail had been lost while having other health issues and was NOT contacted via phone about the refund of $450. This in turn made the check unable to cash after 180 days of the check being expired. I requested for my check to be resent last month and still have not received it or a call from anyone concerning this matter. I’m deeply disappointed by the way the situation has been handled. If I had been contacted via phone call this would never have happened. Also the absolute dental office is WRONG enough to send an apology letter knowing how unprofessional it was to never run my insurance to BEGIN with. Please get back to me asap along with liberty dental to get this matter once and for all HANDLED

I had a horrible experience & I will never be back. I got probably 50 texts and a phone call leading up to the appointment to confirm I was coming just for the office staff to be unprepared for my visit. Keep in mind I came 30 minutes early just to make sure all of the necessary paperwork was completed with time to spare. Apparently the staff had issues confirming my insurance. I advised them that the insurance company told me that it may be a bit more difficult to confirm my insurance. I offered to call the insurance company myself to get guidance on how to confirm it since they were having trouble. The front desk staff told me not to so I figured maybe they had things under control. They were never able to do so , so against the staffs request I called the insurance company and within 5 minutes had answers. All they had to do was call the number on my card rather than try to search it on any site but the staff on the dental side refused to do so and advised me to come back another day. I took off of work and had to Uber there so all in all I wasted over $100 just to NOT get my routine cleaning because the staff refused to do their job. I will not be back and I will be sure to leave a negative review on any website that will allow it and anytime teeth come up in conversation and I’m in ear shot (strangers included). I’m pissed and highly unsatisfied.

I paid full cash for my daughter braces and was discharge because the front desk lady got offended by someone else assuming relationship with us. My daughter have pain they couldn't even see her and cause damages to my daughter health. Now she has other problems. I only received X-rays no other dental care and this was my first time going to the dentist in almost five years no cleaning nothing no flossing nothing and then I ask them about putting a Temporarily tooth in my mouth front tooth at that , In all my 62 yrs from my first dental visit I have never went to a dentist and they don’t clean polish or anything and I know I need dental care . I am a retired LVN OF OVER FORTY YEARS BUT IVE BEEN IN THE MEDICAL FIELD SINCE I WAS 14 yrs old. I took ROP IN SCHOOL IN POMONA CALIFORNIA IN 1978 I took dental hygienist. And they were to busy trying to get into my pocket wanting me to pay $950 for a Temporarily flip tooth talking about 300 down and then 500 she made That up. They approved me for a $5,000.00 loan with payments at $210.00 a month payment plan, my daughter paid $6,000.00 for six veneers and I told the dentist I wanted my two front teeth replaced he said no because my other tooth is perfectly healthy. So I called my husband and talk with him about it. I felt like that assistant looked at me like I’m a illiterate black woman with no education when I have a very good education and was taught By the best, my father and mother were great Parents and education was number one no C’s , D’s and of course no F’s was never aloud or we paid dearly with extra math , reading , book reports etc.. Probably one of the BEST dental experiences I’ve ever had! I want to start off with how amazing the front office is. I wish I got everyone name so they can be appreciated appropriately. But the lady at the front desk (glasses and had pink scrubs that day) was dealing with a man who was so loud and angry at the wrong people. She handled it so gracefully and still managed to point him at the right direction. Second, the dental assistant who called me back (she had a pink scrunchie on that day lol) was so cheery and so sweet, she was just so enthusiastic to call me back and help me. She made my most anxious time so relaxing and filled with laughter! The insurance biller, Liz, was so patient with me and very descriptive. I had another dental office (Absolute Dental as well!!) quote me for $6000 for what I got done yesterday and Liz explained everything to me and told me my insurance covered everything!! She was so honest and took her time even when she was slammed with other patients! Both doctors (I think one might’ve been named Jenny) and Dr. Tao were so excellent! The woman doctor was able to help me out fast while Dr. Tao was busy with other patients and Dr. Tao waited on me to finish my root canal (AND AFTER HOURS) to put my temporary crown on!!! Just absolutely amazing! Dr. Chen who did my root canal was so sweet and very fast! He made it so painless that I was so at peace when he fixed my tooth. Lastly, Brandon who helped with my temp crown was so sweet and soooo funny! I could tell he loves what he does and has the biggest heart! I hate going to dentist and I haven’t been in years but now I found a place where I feel comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you!!! And you’ll be seeing me there soon!!

The experience was good until Dr Tao said "Fighting with insurance companies is hard l do the same all the time". Hence then he added Erica's job coordination with insurance is a different part and has nothing to do with me." That comment increased my blood pressure hence l made a baseball team analogy and maybe a little rudely. I said the following; You know how the insurance works your the Specialist Dentist therefore your coordination with Erica is to work together. That is important. l made a comparison to a baseball team again like all players work together. He asked local anesthesia or sleep. l said it doesnt matter . He knows local is less than full sleep as covered by insurance. Tao still pushed and he then said l will pull the teeth. But after rethinking it Dr Tao changed his mind because Absolute Dental has oral surgeons on staff and he talked with Erica. . Dr Tao overall has good customer skills but when you mention insurance he "doesn't want to be bothered by his attitude and after talking with me that was obvious. Please recommend the office works as a team not dental care separate from insurance and insurance doesn't run the office. Also Absolute Dental may l suggest have an Insurance Corporate Coordinator. l probably am not the only person with this recommendation. Sorry for such a long text. Also this experience going public may help Absolute Dental improve customer service instead blaming it on rude customers. Over the past year of being at this office, I have felt very welcomed because of the atmosphere. Every time I walk in I am greeted with warm smiles for the front girls. It makes me wanna come back every time. The TC Aileen makes me feel very comfortable the way she explains my treatments. Very professional and polite. The manger there’s is always very nice and is always on top of her customer service. And the girls in the back are amazing at their job. They do such a great job with the doctors that work there. They have such great teamwork, that’s makes the office feel like home. I hope they keep up with the great work and that this office keeps accomplishing amazing things!!

This is the most unorganized dental place I've ever been to. Nice and professional at first to get you in the door. They messed up 3 times, and I ended up stuck with temporary dentals after they showed me my permanent dental. Told me to come back in few weeks when gums are more healed which I did, only to be told I'm stuck with the temporary dental. Apparently the dentist working on me moved to Florida. I still can't eat solid food to this day and in tremendous pain because the dentures are too big and dont fit properly, it's been over a year now. I can't even speak properly and close my mouth fully. They maxed out my benefits for work that was not done properly and went the route I did not agree to. Make sure to get everything in writing to what you want done in this place, they will lie to protect themselves. Find a dentist that will not throw you under the bus when they make a mistake, there are others you can place your trust in. This is not that place. For those of you who decide to ignore this review and end up in same position as me, i strongly advise you to place one of your own experience to warn others to stay away from here. This place should be shut down and sued for malpractice. Luckily I've been saving up to get the work done properly, but nonetheless an experience none of us should have to go through.

This was my first time bringing my child to absolute dental and starting at the front desk I had the most wonderful welcome. Both ladies at the front desk acknowledged me and while one did my paperwork the other kindly explained some great financial pointers. My daughter was seen in no time. If I could leave 0 stars I would, I saw Dr Tao on Saturday 2/15/25 & 2/17/25 I presented with severe mouth pain, 2/15/25 he pulled a wisdom tooth saying he thought that was the problem, Monday I went back still in pain, they gave me a prescription for amoxicillin and did dental x-rays saying they couldn’t see anything wrong besides me needing a deep cleaning, I went for a different opinion at a different clinic and within 45 minutes they could see that I needed a root canal and had a small crack in my tooth which was completely missed at absolute dental. I recommend going elsewhere and saving your time. After 5 days of trying to figure out what’s wrong I finally have answers and relief that I couldn’t get from absolute dental. Horrible dentists and should be called absolute worst dental.

My first experience was decent. I was going through a lot with two top back molars and needed one out before it caused more infection and swelling to my face. They gave a few options to me and chose the route best taken which would be $450 out of pocket since my insurance didn’t cover the bone graft, only the extraction could be covered they said. I obliged by that and paid out of pocket for procedure and it was done. I got a letter in the mail later on stating I had paid $0 member copay for my bone graft. I called liberty dental insurance and they confirmed saying if they had ran a prior authorization for this bone graft you had a high chance that we could have paid for it. No record was even shown I paid for it. My trust with dentists were already weary since I had not been in for a long time. I started to build trust with my dentist and the office, wanting to do another extraction and another bone graft. My trust has been completely broken knowing these people sat here lying to my face. What was the reason you didn’t wanna run a prior authorization? Too lazy or just wanted some money out of me? My health from my teeth have completely scarred me for life and then the office I started to trust broke my trust in so little time too. Here’s some photos of what my teeth have done to me and hospital trips etc. You would think absolute dental would try and accommodate someone who’s going through a lot. Not try and take advantage of someone who wanted their procedure done asap to save my life.

I went into office Feb 1st I couldn’t get service (my blood pressure was high) I called the office no answer I had to go into the office to ask for a refund I asked for a receipt for the refund I was told “I can’t print one out for you” so I said okay I asked how long would it take they started 2-3weeks for a refund. Long story short I’ve been calling and emailing trying to get a refund I still haven’t gotten my refund , not an email starting that my refund was issued. This company is stealing from me . I didn’t want it to get this bad where I have to go the routes to pursue legal aid to just get my refund but it’s looking like I have to. It’s been over a month over 7 emails 20 plus calls and I still have nothing. It is now March 11th and no refund. I went to Absolute Dental at 4300 Meadows Ln #1350, Las Vegas, NV 89107 on 3 separate occasions. I saw Johnathan Tao DDS. I went there because i was in severe pain .They did X-Rays and such. They quoted me almost $9,000. Dr. Tao did absolutely nothing to address my immediate pain I had a previous 20 year old filling that had fallen out. He didn't even fix that. They only gave me the $9,000 quote. I made an appointment to get fillings. At this next appointment he did fillings and a "cleaning." On my way home within 2 hours every single filling fell out and my teeth were not cleaned either. In fact he avoided most of my mouth because i was in pain. They billed my insurance for all this work and services that have not been rendered. I scheduled an appointment to get the fillings fixed and replaced I was in excruciating pain. He attempted to replace the fillings and the resin would not stick i was in severe pain and felt everything despite his attempts to numb me i would flinch in pain and he would yell at me to stay still as he's drilling very sensitive exposed teeth. He finally got it to semi adhere to my teeth. When I got home again every single filling came out for the second time. He drilled my teeth every time I went in. Now my front teeth are down to the pulp and nerve and the work he neglected like replacing the fillings is going to cost me a fortune and severe pain. He ruined what teeth i had left. Instead of addressing the issues he neglectd it so they can charge my insurance for a more expensive treatment for example a filling replacement now needs a root canal. The work he did has gotten so bad. I saw a different dentist who informed me that I had a severe infection that's why he wasn't able to numb me, my teeth were not cleaned. He has billed my insurance for services not rendered and now my insurance will max out. So i cannot get the work i need to get done. I want you to refund all insurance claims you have processed so I can get the oral surgery i now need. I am in severe pain. The photos are my fillings.

Back to 2021. Received a bill with mistakes (someone put wrong code and the dental insurance declined it). Came to this clinic with questions. The lady who was in charge stated they were correct and then said "I don't know what I can talk to you". I sat in the lobby and called my insurance for details. Then, the lady called security to get me out of the clinic and the mall. Luckily, I found their bill office, and the staff there re-billed me with correct amount. Unfortunately, walk-in accommodations at this company have been consistently disappointing. I strongly recommend making an appointment, as the wait time for walk-ins can be excessive. I was given an estimated wait time, only to end up waiting nearly an hour to be seen.

Do not come here and get traumatized. You’d expect a doctor to have compassion and integrity but that’s far from what you’ll receive at this place. Let’s start off with having an appt time at 2PM and not getting called until 3PM. Then not giving me a radiation cover during the X-rays. I insist to take full exam x rays. They say no and only do one tooth then decide to take the full mouth x rays with no radiation protection. Then them telling me I have a dental abscess over my front tooth and that I need a root canal and a crown and that I have 6 cavities. Then when I’m in tears finding out this information they rush me with a credit card application and forcibly makes me do it when I insisted I did not want too. THEN as I’m asking questions Dr. Johnathan Tao decided to get up after every question I had and tried to leave the room when I was not finished talking to him. He showed ZERO COMPASSION. The whole office showed ZERO COMPASSION. Then as I’m leaving they are pressing me to pay them before the 21st because their specialist only comes twice a month. Turns out I DONT have a dental abscess, I DONT need a root canal and I DONT have 6 cavities. They are liars and tried to rob a single mother and failed miserably. I got a second opinion the very next day with new x rays and the dentist was so confused as to why Dr. Johnathan Tao diagnosed me with an abscess. Dr Johnathan Tao pointed to a white cloud saying that’s an abscess. Apparently, an abscess on an X-ray is dark/black. He completely lied and has zero integrity. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO AND ROBBED. They were going to ruin my front tooth for no reason besides their own financial gain. I wish I would’ve read the previous reviews before coming here. It’s a whole scam and the place should be sued and shut down for being money hungry frauds. Also, the technology was old and the whole place was filthy. Do better Absolute Dental and Dr. Johnathan Tao, do the world a favor and find a new career; Greed over compassion and honest care is disgusting. I don’t even write reviews but wanted to give a warning to future patients. I was completely traumatized from my experience.

A bracket falls off every time he gets a tightening. We have to wait for every 2 months to even get an appointment! When I hade braces, it was a monthly thing...

I have had the worst time dealing with an extraction. I have to go back and forth between 2 offices... and one time, the other office didn't even have my appointment in the system (that was because the other office didn't tell them I had an appointment...)

I am extremely impressed with the customer service at this location. They have such an awesome team working for them. Not only is Dr. Vann a great dentist, but the girls at the front desk are super sweet no matter how busy the office is. They make it a point to remember you and always take the time to make small talk while you're waiting to be seen. Just went yesterday and it started off great the staff was very nice to me then once I went back out to the front desk I was told I had to pay OUT OF POCKET! Im like why? First off I have Liberty dental which is through medicaid there should not be a OUT OF POCKET PAY unless someone talked to me about it and I agreed and signed so I was told that they did not do the basic cleaning like they were suppose to do THEY MADE THE MISTAKE NOT ME However I was told I still had to pay for the service or be billed and then they offerred me a "discount" I will absolutely be contacting corporate FYI people have medicaid for a reason so charging $190 is totally out of line because of a mistake on yall behalf

From when you first enter Tila at the reception desk helps you feel at home. Mariana and Erica we're helpful , professional and very kind . Kindness can go along way. When you are in pain,kindness is important.
Dr Van is amazing. He went above and beyond for me with my special condition. He fabricated a special dental tray with his drill. A complete customized tray for my impression. Other dentist had told me it just couldn't be done. I am amazed at his exceptional work and his genuine caring for me. He is a good person and a good Dentist. You can tell he enjoys dentistry .
Even the woman from billing treated me with the utmost respect for my situation and my finances.

Let me start by saying... I get severe anxiety going to the dentist. Dr. Sha was Beyond Amazing. She explained everything has a calming demeanor. Takes her time & was very gentle during my deep cleaning. Also the dental assistant was very friendly & made me feel at ease. Lastly Jossy the front office Manager went above & beyond to take care of the financial aspect of my treatment. I highly recommend this office.

The staff is friendly, in the back are helpful, im giving this rate due to the lack of Timely service, i have to wait over an hour and a half for a phone answer! Its unacceptable! Its always this long. The wait time is ridiculous, i get to my appointments early and i still need to wait 30-45 min even when there is no one in the lobby. Even to get one of the clerks in the front to help me, i wait a good 5-8 min, me just waiting and clearly they see me there, but no one wants to attend me until the ortho clerk tells them hey she needs one if you ladies.

I went in with tooth pain from losing some filings. They did xrays and told me I had multiple infections. They have me a referral to another office to call for another slingshot and sent me home with no antibiotics! I called the next day. No call back. I called the main line to make an appointment a few days later and told the lady making the appointment about not receiving any antibiotics. She said she would handle it herself. Next thing I know the receptionist at the meadows mall with a heavy accent calls me to yell at me and tell me I'm a liar! And said if I had infections they would have given me a prescription for antibiotics. She said that! I told her check my file and she'll see I'm right. Finally, 9 days after my appointment at meadows mall they called me yesterday, 2 hours before they close at 2pm on Fridays, and left a voice mail to come pick up my prescription even though I filled out paper work giving them my pharmacy information. Who uses paper prescriptions anymore! Now, they are closed on Saturday even though Google said they are open today and Monday is a holiday! 2 weeks of non stop infection and pain! Thanks allot meadows mall absolute dental. You suck so darn bad! 😒 you are pathetic and I hope you get shut down! Horrible place to go if you need help ASAP. Also They lie, they do not take walk ins even though that's what the wall behind reception says. What a joke of a place. They don't give a cap about you. They sure don't care about me.... people literally die from infections from tooth absess. They would have done nothing to prevent it or stop the pain or infection. Great job guys! You accomplished nothing and wasted my time and money! Worst place ever! Don't go here, trust me, they don't care about their patients! What really sucks is that the doctors were really great during the appointment but not getting a prescription I desperately needed ruined the experience for me.

This is the absolutely best place of business I have visited several times yes a dental office and every time I've left I've left in a good mood even when I had 9 teeth pulled in one day for my bridges yes! the staff is friendly the dentist is tentative and answers all questions and inquires without rush the office manager is a lovely person lovely she covers all procedures thoroughly so u know exactly what each procedure and process is its a good atmosphere for quality work and professional service and ps the dental assistants rock!

Front staff is great, BUT Over 5 appointments at this place for my kids. Not one time did my scheduled appointment start on time. 2pm appt, didn't get seen until a bit past 3. Out of the door over 2 and a half hours later. And yes, this happens on each appointment. For those who think I'm exaggerating on waiting time, I'm not, I wish I was. And on 2 appointments; staff calls my wife that we need to retake my kids teeth xrays again, because they lost their file. I think 6 months of patience is enough.

Charged $165 for an exam they did not authorize first and that they repeatedly lied to me saying I wouldn't be charged for it. I wrote only authorized services and explained my $ 2,000 dollars in dental benefits would expire by the end of March. They never supplied a dental plan or did any work even after I called and went in person for a plan for teeth pulled and a partial. The benefits expired so I lost that which covered a partial 100 %. They refuse to even use my correct name. I should sue them for lying to me and causing the loss of $2,000.

Made a 10am appointment, arrived at 945 to complete paperwork. They didn’t get to my paperwork until 1030 and had to make a quick call to my insurance. Another 30 minutes later and I’m still sitting there in a practically empty waiting room. They need work scheduling appointments or handling patient in take. Could have seemed slightly apologetic too instead of acting like it’s my fault since it was my first appointment, they must not want new business!

This place was awful! First time there I waited an hour and 20 minutes! And I felt like they didnt really care for me at all. I gave then a second chance because I figured they were just busy. NOPE. Second time I waited 45 minutes! And whenever I asked the dentist guy questions he seemed to be somewhere else because he would just look away or look at the T.V. and then after what seemed like a long minute, would finally look me in the eye and answer me. I called to make a 3rd appointment for I finally had the money and they couldn't find my file! Was told they would call me back after they located it. TWO HOURS LATER still no call. I called and was put on hold forever and when someone did answer was told they were all on lunch! That was the final straw and called my insurance to place me somewhere else. This place was ABSOLUTEly disgusting.

The office and staff are friendly and efficient. HOWEVER, Dr. R is a complete joke. He was with me for 3-5 minutes, didn't even sit down, didn't talk to me other than to say "does this hurt?" one time(rhetorically). And then says I need 2-3 root canals and completely misdiagnosed another issue I had come in for, and wouldn't even come back to talk to me so I could talk to him. I advise you to look elsewhere for dental care.

i was attempting to make an appointment online . I was called by one of the associates in the office . I had one of my kids medical cards on me and the other at the house . These people wouldnt allow me to make both of my kids appointments because of the cards was not in my possession . I was a customer of this office for quit some time and you have now lost my business and everyone I knows business to your facility . I am a single mother and that was made hell for me, when She could have taken one card and set my other childs appointment and allowed me to call tomorrow with the numbers . Terrible experience. New manager, Jossy Rodriguez, is very unprofessional. She clearly does not take accountability for her position and lacks customer service skills. She abused her authority and tried to intimidate me as a customer. She also made very derogatory remarks towards me. When I addressed her about her unprofessionalism, poor communication skills, and hostility, she called security on me. Though security did not find me at fault, she had me dismissed from Absolute Dental completely. Sad that she is in a position of authority. People like this should not represent a dental or medical facility.

First off the wait was horrific. The receptionist at the front desk was the only kind person there. She went out of her way to retrieve my referral that my main dentist failed to send. I was grateful for that. Assuming that things will go smoothly after she went out of my way to get my referral, it went anything far from smooth. I have been waiting over 6 months to get my right side wisdom teeth pulled. Because another dentist just left me with one side out.. i have been in pain for a long time and after waiting for 3 hours on my only off day, the dentist decided to tell me that my wisdom teeth arent causing pain and that he doesnt feel comfortable doing the procedure.. i personally feel as though the dentist is truly unqualified to do it.. yes i know it is a difficult procedure but at the same time, who are you to tell someone who has a tooth that grew in lying down, that it isnt painful.. the dentist was very rude and wouldnt even look at me directly when i spoke to him.. very uprofessional..

I will never forget how compassionate Tela was on the phone regarding my wife's abscessed tooth. Tela has the most warm, and comforting manner, a customer service PRO! She got us in same day, Dr. Vann gave antibiotics, and my wife could finally relax/sleep. It's been almost 2 years now, and my wife is pain free, and smiling. Don't believe their promotions! They'll tell you you're getting a promotion where the only amount you pay is $19 if you follow them on social media, and you'll pay that at the office. A few weeks later you will receive a bill in the mail for services rendered because they never applied the promotion or tried to bill your insurance company for which you gave them the information on three separate occasions. When you try to resolve the situation by calling 5 times and leaving voicemail each time, they will not return any of your calls and just continue to send you bills and threaten to send you to collections via letter until you pay. They will never allow you to speak to an actual human to resolve the situation that was THEIR error to begin with. WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER HAD THE UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES OF WORKING WITH.
