Went to Dr. Williams in early Oct of 2020 and he did a fantastic job. I had actually been in contact with his office for a few years prior to that and they were always very courteous, professional and kept in touch. His staff is great. When we finally met on the day of the procedure, he was very professional, knowledgeable and prepare for the procedure. Has a great sense of humor as well. The whole process was very comfortable from start to finish, I was more than well accommodated and the center of attention. I had gone through a procedure in California prior by another doctor that was far less satisfying. Dr. Williams was a whole new level of service. My results over time have been very satisfying, absolutely received the coverage he promised. I’m sharing my personal experience with Advanced Medical Hair Institute / Dr. Williams to help others make informed decisions. In January 2023, I paid for a hair transplant procedure for $17,500. Attached are photos taken nearly two years later, in January 2025, which reflect my individual results. While results may vary, these outcomes did not meet my personal expectations.

During three follow-up visits in February 2024, September 2024, and December 2024, I expressed concerns about my progress. The practice advised me to allow more time for growth during the first two visits, which aligned with the information I received in the consent form I signed. At my third visit, I was offered a second procedure for $21,500 with a $1,750 discount. This was higher than my original cost, which I understand reflected increased operational expenses since 2023.

Later, I consulted other medical professionals who offered perspectives on my outcome, and I chose to undergo a second procedure elsewhere in late January 2025. The consent form I signed acknowledged that results can vary based on factors like hair quality and individual healing, and I recognize no guarantees were made. I also acknowledge that the practice addressed my concerns during follow-ups and offered a second procedure.

I’m not seeking a refund or further services from this practice, I’ve resolved my situation independently. My goal is to provide this factual account and photos from January 2025 so others can make informed decisions. I encourage thorough research to find a provider that aligns with your goals. Based on my experience and outcome, this practice wasn’t the right match for me.

Dr. Williams is a really good doctor. He has led a very impressive career and when it comes to skill from that career the proof is in the pudding.... Ive got hair where there was no hair and it looks great AND its only been 6 months!!! You go into this hair journey thinking man i hope it works!! You know you won't see results for months, you can't tell if it worked for months. All you can control is picking the right doctor. I looked at Bosly they just seamed so commercial and cut and paste. No thanks. Pluss I've seen some really crappy work from them on guys. I looked at multiple other doctors here in town. I looked at 1Dr in Beverly Hills. Of all of them I could just tell that Dr. Williams was a practiced professional. I knew he could do the job, I had no question. The staff were all great, the procedure was easy, no pain, about 6 hours. Healing was easy, no infections and all scabs were gone in about 2 weeks. I did the one where he cut my scalp out because he said that's the best results. It was numb for about 3 mo but no big deal. Totally worth it. This is not cheep, but its worth it if its the best and Dr said this was the best option (results) so I went with the best option. He was correct. Screw the scar I've got hair in front now. If your digging around the net trying to find a safe place to invest your money into new hair, trust me you found it. DR. Williams is the truth. If I could give 10 stars I would. I had a FUT procedure in 1998 by one of the "top" hair restoration doctors. My scar hurt for years and I can not get a short haircut because it shows just above the neck's hairline. Dr. Williams is an award winning SURGEON and you can't even see his higher scalp scar after a short time, and no pain at the scar site. He did 100% of the implant incisions and locations himself, provided 4 times the hairs at the hairline and overall more hair than his competition, and does not rely on painful and scarring FUE plugs installed by technicians, like most of the Dr's I talked to before him. His results are phenomenal, the entire experience is light years better than my prior experience, and experiences of my close friends. NO SHAVED HEAD. If they want to shave your head for the procedure, RUN!!! I just warned a friend against FUE and he did not want to fly from Seattle to Nevada to see Dr. Williams. He is so upset now that he did not. His results for the same price, are nowhere near mine, and he is suffering with much more pain and scarring for less hair and a shaved puss-covered head. Dr. Williams provides excellent value for the price, loves what he does, and does it well. Meet with him, and you will see an immediate difference from all the others out there pushing procedures that are good for the Dr., but not good for you, the client.

Dr. Williams and the team are incredible. I did my research before seeing Dr. Williams and decided to come in for a consultation. Dr. Williams went through his background, passions, but more importantly, he truly wanted to know why I wanted to have hair restoration done. I find comfort in that question. I was really impressed with Dr. Williams, from start to finish. He’s personable. Relatable. Human During the initial consultation, he explains, in great detail, the procedure itself and what to expect (the before, during, and after). There’s no surprises on the day of procedure; you know exactly what’s happening. His follow up was fantastic. I couldn't be more pleased with the work of Dr. Williams and his team. This is a 10 star company. From my consult to my follow-up visits everything has been first class service. I scheduled a consult on the advice of one of my friends, who went to Dr. Williams a few years earlier for his hair transplant and has a full head of hair. At the consult Dr. Williams was very nice and very direct at what he could do for me. I liked what I heard and I liked Dr. Williams so I did it. He got me right in the following week. The procedure took around 12 hours for 3600 graphs but I was very comfortable the entire time in a recliner chair, listening to music, watching tv, and working on my phone. I took my wife for a consultation. Having previously had hair implants done myself, I understood everything that Dr. Williams said and was able to better explain it to my wife later. It turns out that Dr. Williams knew and is friends with the doctor that did my implants over 15 years ago. After my wife gets hers done, I'll probably have to have a tune-up on myself. I can say it’s easy to tell that he is genuinely a real good guy. I’d had 2 procedures with Bosley over 15 years ago and although I’d never considered it a ‘bad job’, I could tell my hairline was transplanted. He is very knowledgeable and very skilled at his position,and truly likes what he does. He will discuss all of your options to help you decide what is right for you. He also has a very professional team at his office. Everyone there,from the receptionist,the office manager,the nurse,and all of the well trained assistants,will make your procedure go as smooth as possible,and they will make you feel as comfortable as possible. My husband and I are so impressed with Dr. Williams. He won our hearts with his honesty, kind heart and cheeerful disposition.
I have a thin frontal hearline and an alopecia scar from a product I used to thicken my hair which caused a trauma induced scalp burn. I have been so self conscious of my hairline. We had consulted with other doctors in Henderson who were eager and willing to take our money, yet Dr. Williams required I have a scalp biopsy, (as with all his patients to determine if if he can proceed with his treatments). My biopsy results revealed I was not a candidate at this time for treatment, so Dr. Williams and I will meet again in a 1 1 /2 to 2 years time, and we are hopeful my biopsy results will allow us to proceed with what we had discussed in consultation, when my results have reached a "burn out". I was so disappointed, actually in tears with with the biopsy results as we could not proceed at this time, however we are so grateful for Dr. Williams's honesty. We have no doubt we will continue with Dr. Williams in 2 years time. The other doctors we had consulted with made no mention of a scalp biopsy. They were just willing to take our money and perform the procedure without knowledge of any underlying factors which could be revealed in a biopsy.
In the meantime we discussed many options to ease my self conscious and low self esteem and I was so happy when Dr. Williams suggested "Scalp Micropigmentation - SMP, a technique I had never heard of. This best suited me as weaves, hair extensions and hair fillers such as Toppik are of no interest to me. I did my thorough research and found a company specializing in SMP. I had the procedure and I'm thrilled with the results. I am so happy, I even popped in to see Dr. Williams last week to show him. He too was impressed, and to see the light in my eyes again. I now have the appearance of density and have so much confidence and my self esteem has returned. When I return to Dr. Williams within the next 2 years with the results of my biopsy I look forward to having then fullness and thickness that he will provide for me.
I can honestly say Dr. Williams is a true and caring professional. He truly cares for his patients. He proved to Matt and I, his honesty and integrity.

After some research on the part of both my wife and I, we felt encouraged to make an appointment with Dr. Joseph Williams to determine the validity of the Advanced Medical Hair Restoration Institute and to what extent Dr Williams was having success with such an endeavor.
