I’ve been bringing my daughter to Advanced Pediatrics for the past four years, and more recently my newborn son as well. In the beginning, I loved this practice and never had any issues. Unfortunately, since my son’s birth, I’ve noticed a significant decline in the quality of care and communication.

My son’s circumcision was supposed to be performed in the office. However, they canceled the appointment just 30 minutes before it while I was already driving there. When I asked if it could be rescheduled later that same week, I was told Dr. Nauman was unavailable and that I would have to go elsewhere. The office they referred me to couldn’t see my son for a consultation for another month. I called Advanced Pediatrics back to explain the situation and asked if there was anything they could do to reschedule my appointment for a different day, but I was simply told there was nothing they could do and the Dr can’t do it. It left me feeling like my concern and my son’s care weren’t a priority.

Then, less than two weeks later, I had another appointment for my son’s one-month checkup. On my way there, I called to let them know I was running just three minutes late because of a car accident. That’s when I was told my appointment had supposedly been canceled the day before and that they had left me a voicemail. I never received a call or voicemail, and this wasn’t communicated until I reached out myself.

The repeated last-minute cancellations, poor communication, and lack of concern have been extremely frustrating and disappointing. After four years as patients, I expected much better. Because of these experiences, I will be transferring both of my children to a different pediatrician.

Only giving 2 stars because we've had good experiences here. Unfortunately, they've really gone downhill in the last year and half since we've been coming. ALWAYS a 40 minute wait minimum. I guess I should've listened in the beginning when another mother told me in the waiting room that this is always happening. Not sure if its due to overbooking or what. The front desk rarely answers the phone and is rude when they do. Which sucks because I used to really like the girls at the front desk. Twice now we haven't been able to get vaccines during our appointment which seems crazy to me. We used to like coming here but we definitely won't be coming back.

Absolutely love this office. Going on almost 10 years. When we were desperate for answers with our previous pediatrician we were brushed off and felt defeated in regards to our sons odd and agressive behavior. We searched for top pediatricians and came across Dr. Nauman. First appointment she took her time to evaluate him. We had a feeling he was on the spectrum. Dr. Nauman confirmed it, set him up with speech and behavioral therapy. Game changer!!! Our son was later diagnosed with a heart condition thanks to the her fast acting decision to get him to see a cardiologist. The office staff, PA's and nurse practitioners are amazing. Dr. Nauman and her staff are phenomenal. My daughter is on the spectrum and has been going to her since our move here. During each visit, our daughter is a bit nervous and the staff is always patient with her and kind. Most recently she finally shook off those nerves and I think it’s because of her interactions here. All of the referrals that you made were at your own discretion. I have specifically requested for stool cultures and testing for systemic infections not referrals, for my son‘s systemic infections that have now been clinically documented . I ended up having to get testing outsourced. You failed to acknowledge my concerns and order the appropriate tests and prescriptions as you advised he is Autistic and does not have systemic issues so you prescribed a behavior sedative and an anti-itch cream instead. All Documented. You based your Treatment off your opinion of Autism without having any clinical test Done. Furthermore you terminated them as patients confirming your lack of providing duty of care.

Worse service ever at urgent care, Doctor Jones is the worse ever, I came today at 2pm to get my daughter cough medicine and she was so mean and didn’t even get her nothing lost 1 hr and 20 minutes for nothing, but of course they did make me pay $15 and there going to take the rest from my insurance. Was great but since the pandemic they never have appointments and the office staff are short... we often have to find an alternative pediatrician because they have no availability. They still require masks even on the well child side, but not for sick kids under 6. they told us they would call us back about a medication issue 19 days later I had to call them back and because Dr. Nauman is the only one that can change meds and she now only works 3 days a week in the mornings, which does not fit into my schedule they refuse to let another provider change the meds so we are at a stalemate. I am ready to find a new pediatrician we have been with Advanced since my child was a new born but it is just not the same place.

The reason for 2 stars instead of one is they they did have a quick availability for an appointment. Everything else at about advanced pediatrics was 1 star. We did not see Dr. Nauman who I've heard is a good doctor but the staff we did encounter was short, rushed, and unfriendly. The front desk person was not personable or welcoming. The office was run down. All the walls were scratched up and dirty. The waiting room had some ancient toys and dirty chairs. The staff in the back who took vitals and performed my child's physical were impatient and didn't even care to review the medical records I brought in.
They also filled out my form incorrectly because they were so rushed. They marked "no" on the "can this child hear and do they have good vision" when that is not issue with my child. I will not be back to visit this office. Awful experience.

My baby was sick and was prescribed (amoxicillin) for her ear infection next day she had some issues that were very unusual to me so a mother I called them immediately & was informed to “walk in” I get there and they tell me that she cannot be seen AFTER I DROVE 30 minutes to have them look at my baby supposedly they hit the “max walk in” but I was not informed that via the phone call. I established my son as a new patient in May & we've had an ok experience thus far. I'm not sure if it's the front staff that dropped the ball but we saw Dr. Nauman the week before Thanksgiving to get my son tested for ADD. We got our blood work done on 11/22 & I sent the paperwork back on 11/25. I have had to call 3 times to confirm if they received the blood work & to schedule the follow up to discuss the results. I call today 12/29 & the 1st available appt is 1/4 which he goes back to school on 1/3 so that won't work & after that, not until 1/25. Had I not called again, I would still be waiting to hear back to schedule my follow-up. This is poor management in front & whomever gets forms, paperwork, etc. I will now be finding another provider because it's clear you have to do their jobs for them at this office & I'm not ok with that.

Both my children have been patients since birth I am furious that I was turned away by staff to come back at 3 o’clock in the afternoon since called in the morning And the staff said to come in I live 20 miles away and don’t have gas money nor gas to come back luckily summerlin hospital was just minutes away .My children will now have a different pediatrician

My son was exposed to black mold, has a terrible cough and his lungs sound horrible. We are not new patients so I don’t understand why we couldn’t get an appt scheduled for several weeks. We finally make our appt, running a few mins late & now we have to be rescheduled! These people don’t care about the health of the children all they care about is there paycheck! HORRIBLE!!! Not to mention we’ve NEVER even seen his pediatrician, we always see the nurse practitioner. she’s nice but what kind of pediatricians office never has the pediatrician around? I’d give 0 stars if I could 👎🏽

You can’t depend on this clinic to do anything. They don’t answer the phone during business hours and don’t respond to messages for days. I waited 2 weeks for them to send a referral to a specialist and ended up taking our baby to the ER. They still haven’t put the referral in. Fin ding a new pediatrician for my baby.

I apologize for the long review. I'm very sad to say I won't be going here anymore. Notes to say about this place. 1. Dr. Nauman isn't even there anymore except during the mornings according to the staff. 2. The other doctors that used to be there aren't there anymore. I remember Dr. Dee she was really nice. When one doctor refused to give my kids medicine and told me to just take them home she came in and helped me out. I'm sad that she is gone now. 3. The office seems to be run by physicians now and they seem to have no sympathy towards sick children. They told me to just have my older kid keep taking cough medicine even though she had been taking it for a while, was still sick and wasn't working. I had to call the next day to get medicine when my kids came down with a fever. Then I emailed them because I found out all the physician gave them was a z-pack in a bottle. My kids got sick again right away after taking the medicine. I also called they seem to know my number so they just ignore my phone calls now. Anyways I'm just very frustrated about the whole situation. I know they won't miss me because they get plenty of people but please reconsider before taking your children here. Thanks

I called to make an appointment for my friend Kid she cannot speak English she’s very helpless she’s crying every day for her kid and she needs a big help so I called and receptionist take the call and I said I’m making appointment for my friend kid and she asked what is the date of birth go the kid so I said just give me a second because she cannot speak English I asked her and she said no we cannot make it appointment because she’s not there I said but she needs help she’s crying she’s helpless she wants to make appointment for her kid she’s a helpless mom because my friend couldn’t speak English and I was the translator the receptionist didn’t give her appointment. I never will recommend place like this specially when it comes to our kids if they can speak and help me as a mother or my friend how they want to help our kids.!???

Was running late to a follow up for my 6 wk old daughter, due to traffic. I called ahead to notify the office but phone went to the voice messaging system. Checked in 10 mins with one person ahead of us, who was called bank not long after we were seated. We waited for 50 mins while everyone in waiting room had been called back, at which point I asked the receptionist how much longer of a wait to expect. She eventually notified me we were next. Atter 10 more mins, now an hr after appt time, we hadn't been called. I requested a reschedule and a comment card. I was rescheduled immediately with no further interest in possible resolution, and told there were no comment cards when asked for one. Sitting in waiting room for an hr, after driving 30 mins, with an infant who suffers from colic, in the middle of COVID with toddlers running all over the place touching everything is less than ideal.

Love Dr. Nauman!! I came in at 3pm as a walk in but was unaware they stopped taking walk ins after 2:30pm. Dr. Nauman still took my son in and she is always on point with her diagnosis. She last saw my son when he was a baby, he's now 15yrs old, and I refuse to take him anywhere else. Love her!

I had a scary experience last week regarding my health. Dr. Nauman is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my kids health since they were born, 15 years to date! but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for her patients as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient! We moved to Dr. Nauman after more than 2 years of difficulty getting our son evaluated for autism elsewhere. She listened to me with a critical, empathetic ear and made immediate referrals for therapy and an evaluation. Within 2 months of being seen by Dr. Nauman, we have emerged with an ASD diagnosis from the developmental pediatrician and are already in therapy. We are incredibly grateful beyond words for her help and are looking forward to our children being a part of her practice from here on out.

Rude diva attitude from reception staff. They talk over you and never listen. Never answer phone, never call back. They have trouble sending medication to pharmacies. You have to call several times, be on never ending hold, then listen to their attitudes. Double charge your insurance, then back to listening to their mouthing off and doing nothing.. Mediocre Dr. Always late. Dime a dozen... 1 star is too much. There are way better practices out there. Don't waste your time

Took my son here for the first time today and needless to say I’m so so happy I did. I felt like I was finally heard for the first time in 9 months! The nurse practitioner took her time listening to my concerns and checking on my son. So relieved that I have finally found a terrific pediatricians office for my 9 month old.

Update: as you can see 7 months ago I really enjoyed this pediatricians office. However after recent concerns I’m hesitant on continuing care here. One of my biggest concerns was another child’s referral being emailed to me with all of their information, and when I emailed back they never contacted me again to tell me how to destroy that information. I’m definitely concerned about my own family’s personal information being shared.

Dont have an option to give 0 stars! Booked an appointment a month ago, received messages and emails for confirmation and i confirmed them all! Went there, did the check in, and the staff told me that doctor messed up the schedule and couldn’t see me! We love Dr Nauman and her staff! Dr Nauman has always taken the time to listen to our concerns. She has always let us advocate for our son and gives her professional judgement on the matters presented to her. She is very friendly and shows genuine care and concern for our child. Her staff is fantastic. They have always been great with us when it comes to sending out referrals and checking up on lab work sent out. Often times I feel like a pest calling in so frequently but they are always happy to help and get the job done! We love Advanced Pediatrics and the care we receive. Any bad reviews left is honestly from someone quick to anger. Misunderstandings happen with clinics, no need to jump ahead and try and give a facility a bad review.

I do not know how this place has such good comments, I came to this office on the recommendation of a relative. I had to change insurance and my baby lost his pediatrician so I decided to come to this one! It was the worst decision, in the first consultation it was for his 6-month vaccines, they hardly even reviewed it. The vaccines and goodbye were 2 minutes! I did not know how much weight or measured! They do not tell you where to follow the medical record of your baby! nothing. But I said well, let's continue here because this place has a good comments and it was recommended to me by a close relative.

The second time was a month ago my baby had a very strong rash in the diaper area and we went. upon arrival they inform me that they do not accept my insurance (it is the second time I go and they did not tell me anything in the previous appointment) they inform me that they did not check well the first time because the person in charge was not there and that for today it would only be a co -payment of $ 40 ok, the doctor doesn't see the baby a nurse came in gave me a cream and that's it! They didn't weigh it or measure it and goodbye. I now have a Bill of $ 280 for the first visit and $ 189 for the second visit plus the $ 40 copayment I paid at both appointments and I don't even know what vaccinations they gave me the baby. Personally if the insurance would cover this Pediatrician would not return! very unprofessional, lousy attention.

I am so disappointed in my experience here today. Since moving to Las Vegas nearly two years ago, I have had a terrible time finding a pediatrician I can trust. My son is on medication and has been for years. However nothing that we would have to go more than twice or three times a year to check on. I was informed at this office he would need to be seen monthly! What? Then when I said that would be impossible I was told I could pay $30 "convenience fee" to have his prescription filled without being seen. Well that just makes you all regular drug dealers! Lastly, the referrals I was told I would receive, I never did. I am so so disappointed.
Edit: according to the response below charging a convenience fee is standard. Ha! This is 100 % false. My son takes (2) 6 month prescription filled every 90 days. So big discrepancy there with the response. The third medication is filled monthly and I've always been given 3 months at a time to be held at the pharmacy until the appropriate day per month. It has been done this way because visiting the doctor every 25 days is practically impossible for full time working parents. Here's the thing. All of this medication has been prescribed by a different DOCTOR initially. It helps him and that's what I care about. This office only cares about money. Period. If this was the policy why wasn't I informed when I made the appointment and explained my child's needs. Having a child with special needs is hard enough and it's like there is no one who is actually interested in helping, only lining pockets.

This place is a joke. I made a well check appointment online, like they ask you to do if you call them!!!! They rescheduled it to 12/23 and 4pm. That was fine, I made the necessary adjustments to my work schedule. The days leading up and even DAY OF, I received voicemail, email, and text message confirmations. I show up to my appointment to a sign posted on their door saying they close at 1pm on the day of my 4pm appointment THEY SCHEDULED!!!!

Dr. Nauman was recommended by another Pediatrician my boyfriend works for. So far I love the service. My newborn has been coming to this office since his first appointment after birth. I am very satisfied with the knowledge of the Medical Assistant's and the Nurse Practitioner. We also never have a wait time. The only downside is I haven't gotten the chance to meet the actual doctor yet which is important (which is why I did not give 5 stars). She has different availability and it doesn't coincide with my availability very well. Would love to meet Dr. Nauman atleast once. Thank you for the great care and service.
