Dr. Micev always makes you feel that he’s there when you need him. “I’m here if you need me,” is what he tells his patients. He performed my carpal tunnel release surgery two weeks ago which turned out really great! A tiny cut that you can’t tell it’s there! I saw him for a 2-week follow up and what amazes me about this doctor is that he doesn’t push things on you. He explains things to you clearly and make you decide. As a patient it is a must to be make and give an informed consent/decision. Dr. Micev is a professional, has a kind heart and very nice. I am grateful to have you as my surgeon Dr. Micev! Dr. Micev M.D. has a wonderful and calming bedside manner! I really appreciated his thorough explanations of the surgical procedure that was about to happen and what I could expect. When I drove up to the building, I wasn’t impressed. But when I walked inside, I was greeted so nicely and Jackie his assistant is patient and kind. My surgery went well. Dr is amazing. It’s been four days on my hand surgery and I am pain-free. 👍🏼

Dr. Mice is great. A very caring and thoughtful person. My hand surgery went fast and he kept talking to me during the procedure letting me know what he was doing. I had no pain after he was finished. I would recommend him to anyone needing hand surgery.

I love love love this place! So, I fell while taking photos on a slippery mountain with gravel. I went to the emergency room and they stabilized it. I called The Hand Center of Nevada the next morning and they got me in the following day. Dr. Micev was outstanding. There are no words to describe this man. He makes you feel like he has nothing else to do but listen to you. After seeing the Xrays, he said it wanted to cast it and watch it instead of rushing to surgery. After four weeks of weekly Xrays, he showed me the scans and explained my choices. He showed me how the bones were shifted and rotated. I had a distal radius fracture. He said if we just left it cast for a while, it could heal ok - crooked, but ok. He also said in his experience many patients with a similar break complain of pain down the road. Finally, I asked him what he would do if he were in my shoes and he said - get it fixed. It was a simple surgery - a plate and screws. He showed me what it would look like.

So, surgery day came and as I was walking in, I heard Dr. Micev saying hi to the nurses. When the nurse came into my little room, she said that Dr. Micev is one of the nicest doctors around. That he says hello to EVERYONE! The surgery went perfectly.

A couple of days after the surgery, I was in a lot of pain and paged him. He got on the phone and assured me that it was normal and to ride it out. He didn't want me to take any more pain meds. He was right - the following day was a lot better.

Then came therapy. Again, there are no words to describe how much I enjoyed coming for therapy (strange, I know). I did my intake with Jesse Nava and he was professional and kind. Also, I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be called back for therapy.

I came three times a week for a while and then two. I would be assigned to Jesse or Lupe Ortega. I loved Lupe as well. He made you feel like you were the only patient in the room. He and Jesse love what they do - even after 20 years. They are funny and the room buzzes with positivity. Last week was my last week of therapy. They took another Xray and Dr. Micev came over to my therapy table to say that everything looks really good. They said I don't need to come anymore. WHAT??? I wasn't ready to leave this office :). But this is good news.

The summary is that this office - the front desk group (Josh) and every single person there is kind, friendly and likes their job. I recommend this place - for the quality of physicians, their bedside manner and the quality of therapy/treatment.
