⭐ (1/5) Warning to New Patients

I temporarily removed this review out of good faith after Dr. Morgan made himself available to see us promptly. However, after his response dismissing my concerns and defending his staff, I felt it was necessary to reinstate it.

I have been a loyal patient for years and have referred numerous people to this practice. That loyalty is exactly why this review is so difficult to write, and why I feel obligated to write it.

Unfortunately, the experience surrounding this practice has become unacceptable, and new patients deserve to know what they are walking into.

Receptionist Alexa was dismissive and unprofessional during our phone interaction. She repeatedly interrupted me and showed no regard for the fact that I was a returning patient who had sent referrals. Basic customer service, active listening, courtesy, and acknowledging repeat business were entirely absent.

Once transferred, medical assistant Lidia compounded the problem. She interrupted me multiple times while I was describing symptoms, to the point where I had to explicitly ask her to stop. When I mentioned my history as a returning patient and someone who had sent referrals, she appeared not to care. Dismissing a patient about symptoms reflects poorly on the overall care experience.

This office has no manager on-site, and it shows. These staff members operate without accountability or feedback, and it is negatively impacting the patient experience.

When I brought this to Dr. Morgan’s attention, rather than addressing the concern, he defended his staff and suggested the issue was mine. By enabling this behavior instead of holding his team accountable, he is allowing it to continue.

I also want to note that I was never informed the call was being recorded, nor did I give my consent. Patients should be aware of this.

Dr. Morgan did schedule us quickly and I respect that. But standing behind unprofessional staff is not acceptable. A practice can only improve when there is accountability, and unfortunately that did not happen here.

If you can tolerate being dismissed and interrupted before seeing your doctor, this may work for you. If not, I would recommend finding a practice where the entire team reflects the same standard of care the physician provides. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Dr. Morgan is a kind, very intelligent doctor. He resolved an issue that I went to over 4 specialists for. He also has an office staff that is the best ive seen in the city. At other specialists, it can be hard to even get people to answer the phones to help, but with Dr. Morgan's office I have always had calls answered and help when I needed it. This is how a doctor's office should be run.

Doctor Morgan and his entire hard working staff are quite accommodating, friendly and get the job done!!
I am quite impressed. 😃
He is highly educated with it comes to allergies, causes and such....as he should. Plus he went out of his way to write me a detailed, work related doctor's note. 🙏
The office building is clean and modern.
FYI.... They only hold your appointment time for an extra 15 minutes. Otherwise you will have to reschedule because he is a very busy & popular doctor. So try not to be late!!
His office staff is just as
Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with.
I left a weekend message.... And the next working day, they call me back to schedule.
If you have severe allergies/asthma like I do....
I highly recommend Dr. Morgan and his professional expertise.
May God Bless you all!! 🙏

This place has always been so welcoming, informative and understanding in so many ways. I’ve learned so many things about allergies, how they work, what I’m allergic to, and how you can treat them. They’ve made every appointment a pleasure rather than just another inconvenience. I absolutely love and enjoy taking to the ladies and incredible doctor there!! Thank you for everything you do, for the lives you change and for your everlasting kindness!

The receptionist of the clinic does not have professional etiquette, or personal etiquette, I felt discriminated and mistreated, I think the Dr is great and that he or the other staff or faculty is not at fault for the bad review due to the incompetence and bad attitude of a simple receptionist, that makes the clinic look bad. The receptionist is the reason she makes this clinic look bad it's mainly in her attitude. Recommendations for the owner of the clinic he should have receptionist better qualified with a positive work ethic and attitude and kindness with their patients, something the receptionist clearly lacked on a personal level.

I cannot say enough good things about this allergy clinic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness. The nurses here are truly something special — they are not only professional and knowledgeable, but also some of the sweetest, most caring people I’ve ever met.

They take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and always make sure I’m comfortable. You can tell they genuinely care about each patient. Their gentle approach and friendly smiles make every visit so much easier.

If you're looking for top-notch care with a personal touch, this is the place. Thank you to the amazing nursing staff for making such a difference!

Dr. Morgan and his team are awesome! Dr. Morgan listens and incorporates what patients want in their treatment. He’s really knowledgeable and all around just a cool dude. The nurses and admin staff are friendly and professional, and answer all your questions. Everything’s very transparent. The biggest compliment I can give them is that I went to Hawaii (where I’m from) 2 weeks ago, for the first time after having started allergy shots (about 3 months of shots), and my mom noticed a significant improvement in my allergy symptoms! Usually when I go from Vegas to Hawaii, my allergies are a mess and it takes me weeks to adjust when I’ve returned to Vegas. Not this time. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Morgan if you’re struggling with allergies. It’ll change your life.

I strongly DO NOT recommend this allergy clinic. The level of unprofessionalism from the front desk staff, especially Jenny, is absolutely unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, she had a rude attitude, acted like she was doing me a favor just by acknowledging me, and was completely dismissive of my concerns.

A front desk staff should be welcoming, helpful, and professional, Jenny (if that's her name) was the complete opposite. She was short with her responses, rolled her eyes when I asked a simple question, and made the entire experience uncomfortable. If this is the kind of staff they allow to represent their practice, I have serious concerns about how they handle patient care overall.

Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place

I have seasonal allergies that tend to hinder my daily life. I visited Dr. Morgan who gave me several options on treating my allergies. He gave me all the pros and cons of each treatment and allowed me to choose which plan of action suited me the best. I opted for allergy shots with hopes of one day gaining control over my allergies. I have now been receiving shots for a few months and Dr. Morgan’s office has been amazing. They are communicative and accommodating. They are able to work with my schedule to set up my allergy shots. They even return voice messages when they are unable to answer the phone right away. It has been a positive experience overall and I highly recommend Dr. Morgan and his office.

I recently started at this office after a bad experience with another office. First, the negative reviews must be outdated, or fabricated. Dr Morgan and just staff have been fantastic. Accommodating, patient, and explanative. Dr Morgan takes his time with each patient, and does not rush you out the door. This is rare nowadays, and much appreciated by those who want good care. The staff have been friendly and schedule availability is good.

We had an amazing first visit at Dr. Morgan’s office! I was desperate to get my 3 month old in because he’s been battling numerous food allergy and eczema issues. The ladies at the front desk were so incredibly kind and helpful! They were empathetic and helpful and got my son in for a consultation that afternoon due to a previous cancellation- which is a huge deal to a worried mom looking for someone to help her baby.
When we got there we were greeted by a very friendly staff, only waited a few minutes so I could fill out paperwork, and were taken to a room. Again, the nurse who took us back and took notes on my son was so kind and seemed like she truly cared.
Dr. Morgan was very nice, patient, thorough in his questioning, and knowledgeable. He listened and took notes on everything I told him. He gave thoughtful feedback and advice and didn’t mind when I asked him follow up questions. We will be back soon for official testing but I couldn’t have been happier with my entire experience at Dr. Morgan’s office!

So I was referred to him by my son pediatrician. Went to the first appointment and he said he would test him at the next appointment. They set that appointment a month out I called the day before and let them know that we would be cutting it close to do the fact we coming from Boulder City and the person said fine. I called to let them know we were 5 minutes late and the person on the phone informed us that they were not going to be able to see us today. Which I had to take off work early and was literally up the street and this. I definitely see now why his rating are low because of the staff is very unprofessional and not on the same page. One says one thing and another says we can’t accommodate it. Hopefully I will find another doctor because I didn’t even get to see him today because his staff isn’t on point. Again Jenny was fine. If I am not mistaken the issue is Joy with scheduling. She needs to understand ppl can’t control traffic and most doctors offices have more than a five minute grace period. What bothers me is that if you don’t have time for all these patients then let them go somewhere else. I literally waited a month to see him and had to wait another to be rescheduled a whole month later. Definitely wont be referring him to anyone else. Again Dr Morgan seems kind and on point. His schedule staff not so much. Be prepared.

I came in for my appointment yesterday and there weren't any pens available for me to sign in so I kindly notified the receptionist (lady with brunette hair, but bun portion was blonde) that there weren't any pens and if I could please get one to sign in. Without looking up she just points over to the container labeled "dirty pens" near her desk and with the nastiest tone says "just get this and use it." So I asked if she wanted me to use a dirty pen or if she has any clean ones available and in a condescending tone she says "Yeah well it doesn't even matter because we don't clean any of our pens until the end of the day anyways. Just use the dirty one." Keep in mind my appointment was after lunch and this is a medical clinic so no excuse as to why the 10 pens they had couldn't have been cleaned. Covid still exist. If you're that rude and don't want to interact with patients then find another job.

As I'm leaving I had to schedule a following appointment and stopped in front of the Filipina receptionist to be scheduled. She glanced up then carried on with a conversation ON HER PERSONAL CELLPHONE and completely ignores me as I waited for her. Not even a simple, sorry I'll be with you in a moment or just any type of acknowledgment. Absolutely Rude. My 2nd appointment with them and she's done this both times. If you don't want to work then keep your a** at home.
I have read now other reviews on how the receptionist have been rude to patients or they were blatantly ignored. Some as far back as a year ago and it's absolutely ridiculous that nothings been done to reprimand this behavior. It's super unprofessional and is disgusting that they allow this behavior to represent their practice.
** ON A POSITIVE NOTE there was an African American staff member that worked in the back office desk and she was extremely friendly and nice to myself and my toddler that was having a meltdown and even helped me calm him down and gave him a sucker. Also the lady that performed his allergy test was kind and gentle with my son.

I was a patient at this location for almost two years before my spouse and I relocated to Northern Nevada. Also, I was very thankful that Dr. Morgan accepted my insurance and I was able to continue my immunotherapy injections. Dr. Morgan is a fantastic Doctor because he has patience, practices active listening, conducts thorough exams and is calm when communicating with patients, etc.

Furthermore, Lynn is Dr. Morgan's receptionist and she does her best to be polite and courteous to each patient. Unfortunately, the office is inundated with many phone calls, and a lot of office work. Lynn has a tendency to intensely focus on her work, which may appear that she is ignoring incoming patients. However, she is multitasking to the best of her abilities, in an effort to maintain office productivity. Fortunately, Dr. Morgan hired an additional receptionist to help with the front desk operations, post-COVID restrictions. I have noticed a lot of negative comments directed towards Lynn and in fact, she truly is a nice person, just doing her best.

On the other hand, LaJoy McZeal aka Nurse Joy is passive aggressive and can present herself as harsh, frustrated, rude, overwhelmed and discourteous. Joy has a tendency to speak to people in an aggressive and condescending manner, which can infuriate patients! Also, Joy identifies herself to patients as Nurse Joy. According to the Nevada State Board of Nursing, Joy is not a Registered Nurse! In Fact, Joy is a medical assistant and is allowed to perform allergy injections by Nevada Administrative Code NAC 630.830. Unfortunately, it is improper and illegal (in certain situations) for an MA to impersonate an RN because the licensing credentials are completely separate. There are RN's in my family and they have put in a lot more time and hours than an MA does to receive licensure.

Also, Nurses are qualified to administer IV's and drip medications, which an MA is not allowed to do. Not to mention, the continuing hours of education that is required for their RN licensure renewal. Moreover, RN's earn their titles through rigorous training, extensive/continuing education and dedication to the Healthcare System! Therefore, an MA that impersonates a nurse is misleading the public and disrespectful to all Nurses who have dedicated themselves to the Healthcare profession!

Moreover, Joy is a hard worker and I admire her for that. However, she has no right to impersonate an RN or unprofessionally address patients with her aggressive and condescending demeanor. In my opinion, Joy appears burned out and may want to consider a new profession. Also, Dr. Morgan may want to consider disciplinary action against Joy for the sake of his practice. Patient's will grow weary concerning this type of mistreatment and Dr. Morgan could lose business. It would be awful to see such a wonderful Doctor lose business over an undisciplined employee. This is solely my personal opinion when I received medical treatment at this location.

We were patients for a couple of years. Monthly injections were a non-issue after moving here from Houston. They made the serum. When I became medically fatigued last year, severely broken right ankle and all 4 of us running (husband driving) around Vegas for appointments, my son and I didn't get our allergy tests right away. We tested at the end of 2021 and picked up our immunotherapy in January 2022. I never asked, but didn't realize the new therapy would require 7 months of weekly injections. (In Houston, I'm pretty sure we were at monthly injections within the summer...and shot "appointments" were never needed. They had evening and weekend walk-in hours too.) Dr. Morgan's office missed a week (vacation/holiday/availability) or we did but, otherwise, 7 months of my son needing to miss some school for his weekly shots. Shots need to be scheduled like an appointment with this office and there were no shot specific office hours or walk in appointments that would allow him to remain at school all day. With my son starting a new accelerated middle school and the office/school(s)/house all being 20 minutes in 3 different directions, it is not feasible for us to continue care with this office. We knew this before school ended in May and started asking about alternatives then but, unfortunately, there weren't any.

The overall experience was mostly good... some days better than others. Attitudes set the tone for the day. Sure, some days, it was mine. Other days, theirs.

They were quick to respond to emails and I was able to be seen when important. Dr. Morgan is great and very knowledgeable.

The third-party billing in Nevada, not unique to this office, is confusing. Part of the issue we initially had was that OUR insurance changed due to our move and, though we'd met out of pocket with first carrier before moving, we had to pay again....and then request refunds. Refunds are not automatic and systems don't always match. Keep your own records.

I’m honestly surprised by the reviews.

Dr. Morgan is phenomenal and the only one to get to the bottom of my difficult-to-treat asthma. He listened to my concerns and helped me find medications that work.
Joy has been great. Yes, she can be somewhat abrasive if you aren’t used to this personality but she fought to get my medication covered and helped me get on an assistance program that covers all of my very expensive medication.
The front receptionist is not bad and is friendly and helpful. Is she the best I’ve ever had? No. But I come for the doctor.

I’ve never had issues with scheduling an appointment, refilling prescriptions and have never experienced any hostility from anyone in this office.

To be upset that a nurse wants to protect people and herself from COVID is just ridiculous. Covid-19’s is a systemic illness that can severely affect those with compromised lungs so you know … people with asthma, COPD, etc., are at a higher risk of SEVERE illness.
Obviously experiences can vary but I’ve only had good experiences here

if i can give a zero star i will.. worst ever! we’ve been going here for my son’s allergy shot once a week.. for that 4months i was trying to control myself even if that nurse named JOY was rude all the time with me and my husband.. we arrived 5-8mins early to all of our appointments and JOY always tell us not to arrive early or not to arrive late.. she wants us exact time.. and every time we arrived early she becomes rude to us..
so this morning we had an appointment at 9am. they opened at 845am we arrived 8:43am and she went out to talked to me and telling me to wait outside with my son for 15mins with the temperature of 90deg so i was so upset because my son has spina bifida and bleeding disorder.. i was worried that he bleeds with this weather.. anyways after we got the shot, i asked them if i can make an appointment to the doctor “dr matt morgan” and she doesnt want me to book an appointment and keeps asking me why.. anf when the time she didnt give me appointment i told her why i wanted to talk to the dr its because of her.. she’s explaining why she doesnt want people at the office because of covid reason even the mask is lifted (your a nurse u have risk to any disease/sickness) and i told her theres like 4-5patient already waiting at the waiting room but when we were here first patient and she didnt let us in. i dont think its about being crowded in the office but still has to tell us nicely and stop being rude! I used to go to this clinic and I'm so glad I switched. Not only is the front desk receptionist frustrating to communicate with (since she doesn't understand English well), the shot protocol they use should be re looked at. The nurse would frequently let me leave withing 8-10 min of the shot and say I'm good to go. Seriously ? What if I had a reaction at 15 minutes, guess I'm out of luck.

In addition to that, their billing department is incompetent. They had a 11-22 bill postmarked to me on 12-29. It stated I had a 90 day balance on my account that was never paid. Guess what, this is their first notice they have ever sent me.

It's infuriating how awful healthcare is In Las Vegas and this clinic is a prime example of this.

Filipino receptionist was rude and acts like she doesn't see you when you walk in. She is extremely rude and mean. When you sit down, she will act like she doesn't know that you already came there 5 times before. Her attitude is hurting the allergist's business.

If this receptionist worked at my place of business, I would fire her in 2 seconds. She is rude and repulsive.

The nurse is incompetent and doesn't know how to explain medical or technical terms properly. She only want to chat about personal issues, and not address medical issues. When you ask about medical questions, she gets upset.
She also does not know how to inject people with needles.

This clinic does not use a PA (physician's assistant). They have chosen to use a nurse who is bad at her job. At least the nurse was not as bad as the rude Filipino who chases people away.

Hope the doctor reads this because he is hurting his business.

I was supposed to have my televisit appointment today, I asked the nurse the steps to do televisit, they said you will receive a text and Ofcourse I never received anything and I have called 15 times already because nobody calls me and I can’t get a hold of anyone and the appointment is now 30 mins late and still I can’t get a hold of anyone like an idiot. Do NOT go to this place, it gives you nothing but stress.

I am giving 3 stars because the doctor is good but his staff is horrible! Receptionist and nurse are rude, confrontational, provide incorrect information about copays and treatment. I have had allergy shots done in this office and I have dealt quite a lot with them. When they call me back they don't say hello or introduce themselves. When I ask "who is it" I come off as rude because they can't understand that someone can actually have a professional life and receive multiple calls from different places. This is a horrible customer service! I would advise this doctor to record phone conversations to monitor the customer service.

Experienced occasional skin irritations and reactions most of my life but never looked into it. During the initial consultation, Dr. Morgan suggested a 3-day patch test. The test itself was very efficient, not at all cumbersome or painful for me, and the results have been very informative.

Dr. Morgan is very patient, knowledgeable, and professional. The staff are very professional, reliable, and efficient. Spent almost no time waiting unnecessarily either in the waiting or exam rooms, even during COVID. I highly recommend this specialist.

I have never seen an office who demands a child (girl) of 12 years of age to undress without regard to a developing child. No gown, nothing. Keep in mind, this office has others within the same area. Anyone can view inside while the door is open. I asked for the doctor and was brushed off to explain how unusual this is for a child to strip down in front of strangers. My suggestions were also brushed off as if this was normal behavior. If you choose to come here, you might want to reconsider.

My wife began feeling very ill starting 3 years ago. This last year is when she started a significant decline. After endless appointments with countless specialists, we were told over and over that there was really nothing wrong. That the intense physical suffering she had been experiencing, was all in her head. I knew better. I was desperate. Somehow, either by luck or something beyond and bigger than myself, I found Dr. Matt Morgan. Dr. Morgan’s front office staff scheduled an appointment for my wife almost immediately after I explained what we have gone through and her symptoms. Her first appointment was this last August, and as of today, she is completely diagnosed with sever Hypereosinophilic Syndrome, (HES). She has just been approved for a new Biologic medication that will save her life. It was so difficult to go through this process until I got my wife to Dr. Matt Morgan, Joy and the rest of his wonderful staff. They care even as we all endure the pain in this time of the pandemic crisis. Before this moment I’ve had to fight for everything. I had to keep a roof over her head while running out of savings, as I have yet to receive my unemployment and very little support from the few family members we have left. My complete focus was to save her life and now we are on our way to a new beginning. This chapter in our marriage, I call desperation and pain, is closing. I see what is of importance and I am so appreciative of the simple things in life. I get to grow old with my beloved wife solely because of the understanding and intellect of Dr. Matt Morgan. The most amazing doctor that went the extra mile. Joy, the one that pushed so hard to see this process through with conviction. Joy is so sharp and treats every patient with a high level of priority. The staff are impeccable and this experience is a gift to my wife and myself. Don’t give up, there are still really good Doctors and practices that actually care and will see you through. I assure everyone that you will be in the best hands and care at Dr. Matt Morgan’s medical practice.

THIS IS A MUST READ, THESE EMAILS WERE SENT TO DR. MATT MORGAN AND HIS STAFF PER MY EXPERIENCE!
**MY REVIEW IS APPARENT IN THE FOLLOWING WORDS**
Oh my goodness! You, Dr. Morgan have saved my life. Unbelievable. I knew it would take someone of your caliber to piece together the puzzle correctly. I had been misdiagnosed time and again. I admire your acumen, tenacity, and commitment to go above and beyond. You are a superb Doctor and I am forever grateful for your insight and intellect. I assure you, I will be answering my phone and I will keep you abreast of all communications with pharmacy and timeframe in this miracle biologic delivery. Thank goodness for GSK and the recent approval for my condition beyond just eosinophilic asthma. This will be so very exciting for both of us. I hold you as a Physician and Scientist in the highest regard. I will follow your protocol with diligence. As soon as I get word from the pharmacy, I will call your office immediately and send an email as well to make certain you are informed. I want to thank you, show my gratitude, my willingness and my respect for you. I get a second chance at life. What a gift. Truly amazing. I'll keep you posted.

Joy,

I was so excited I forgot to say something to you. You are really incredible. I see how efficient and astute you are. You do not miss a beat. I know you are a huge part of this approval process. I know it took your hard work and willingness to help. You are one that makes your team and practice operate as you do. You are truly the most professional and respected practice I've yet to see. I have been to many. I thank you for your strength as well as your communication with execution to get things done. I respect you immensely. Also, after a lifetime of asthma, I now know how to use an inhaler properly, thanks to you. You guys took the time for me when I had lost all hope. You too saved my life. There are no words for the light in which I place you. Wonderful person. I had no idea that there were people like you left in this world especially during these times of crisis. You all made me feel that I mattered and that something that will resonate in me forever. I will call you when I get the news from the pharmacy. Have a great evening, I am over the moon tonight.

Much respect,

Terrie Blodgett

I have suffered from an unknown allergy for more than half my life. OTC medicines used to alleviate symptoms, however the effectiveness had diminished over time. After one appointment with Dr. Morgan, I was afforded an effective, inexpensive solution. The relief has been life changing almost overnight. Dr. Morgan is methodical and intuitive while discussing symptoms. I expected an expensive journey of testing and trials to get to the source of my irritant. Much to my delight, I am symptom free after only one visit. Cannot thank Dr. Morgan enough for his care, concern and expertise. Highly recommend to anyone who has been suffering needlessly for too long with allergies!

Big fan of Dr. Morgan, his nurse-not so much. Probably a nice enough individual but in office where this pertains, the bedside manner could use a bit of a tune up. So Dr. Morgan A+, Support is sadly a D.

After years of seeing multiple doctors that could never piece together what was going on with me, Dr. Morgan was able to in one visit. I had lost faith in doctors because of so many years of misdiagnosis. All of the allergy medication I have taken for years have only been masking what was really going on. They were never addressing what the real issue was. I have avoided life because of what my happen. I can't wait to see how much better I am going to feel as the medication starts working even more.

Dr. Morgan was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. And the best part was that he took the time to talk He was in no hurry to rush you out which is the norm with doctors these days. I recommend him highly!

Both myself and my son are patients at Allergy Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Morgan is the exception in healthcare these days, a gem that I WISH wasn’t rare to find when seeking healthcare. He and his office staff are very personable and welcoming, he truly listens very carefully to fully understand the overall health of his patients, and has a genuine interest in doing whatever he can to help. He is easy to talk to and allows for enough time to treat his patients like human beings. I have complicated health issues and even though he cannot be the doctor that treats me for everything, he has been a ray of sunshine when I needed it most to give me a renewed hope that there are good doctors out there and that I can find them if I continue looking and stop settling for poor treatment in my healthcare. Because of my experience I felt totally confident in bringing my son to him as well. He is consistent in his patient care standards. I highly recommend him!

Nothing but 5 Stars ! Excellent and life changing for our family . We are a cash customer and he’s been more than fair and proactive in working with trying to get our insurance in plan. You won’t find a better allergist! Especially here in Las Vegas we wasted our time here with numerous over scheduled backed up offices here that have huge waitlist but won’t work with pediatric patients aggressively. Dr. Matt Morgan is brilliant and will aggressively treat even the littlest patients that need him. Thanks!!!

Drove an hour and a half to arrive to find out that its $150 to have a conversation with the doctor and they were "having trouble" with insurance. This would have been great to know before hand. Greedy and disappointing
