I’m so grateful that that I found Dr. Gelo back in Las Vegas! After having extensive dental work over the years, I recently came back to him for a consultation and a second opinion, and it reminded me exactly why I trusted him many years ago.

I also have a lot of dental anxiety, so finding a dentist I genuinely feel comfortable with is incredibly important to me. Dr. Gelo has always made me feel heard, respected, and at ease. He never makes me feel rushed or pressured, and he takes the time to explain everything clearly, including all of my options, so I can make an informed decision about my care.

He is incredibly open, honest, and truly cares about each of his patients. My past root canal experience was pain-free. Knowing that I can trust him and that he prioritizes my comfort makes such a huge difference.

His office staff is amazing as well. Everyone is warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of from the moment you walk through the door.

Finding a dentist you can completely trust is not easy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Gelo again. Im looking forward to my Clear Correct treatments we will be starting soon. If you have dental anxiety, have had a lot of dental work, or simply want a dentist who will be honest with you and take the time to truly listen, I cannot recommend Dr. Gelo and Amazing Smile Dentistry highly enough.

They are by far the best dentists I have ever been to in my life.
I am terrified of dental work, like, full panic attack terrified of dentists, but his office from start to finish (even my phone call to them to get the appointment) was so comforting and amazing.
This was an emergency dental issue and they got me in within 2 hours, handled the massive issue, and got me out. They didn’t rush me or anything they made it so easy and smooth and were so gentle with everything.
I’m bringing my kids back next week.
I won’t see anyone else in the area. I traveled 2 hours to see them and I’ll keep doing it for the care they give.

I had dental emergency and as soon as I came in , I got help immediately . I didn't wait too long to be seen by dentist . Also, the dentist helped me without appointment because he cares about others . I had bad experience in the past at other dentist offices , but I like this dental office a lot and I would recommend to anybody . My husband found Amazing Smiles dentistry. He needed an implant. Dr. Gelo was professional and economical. That means a lot when you’re talking about an implant. It’s has been a very good fit.

I decided to go to Dr. Gelo Because of my husband’s experience. I had the best teeth cleaning I think I’ve ever had. And I’ve been on the planet for almost 7 decades.

I have three new Crowns from Amazing Smiles. They are the most beautiful teeth in my mouth and I’ve had more than my share of dental work. My most recent crown took a little bit longer because Dr. Gelo was not pleased with the crown. He did not make me suffer for the work of others. I appreciate his expertise and his attention to detail.

His front office person, Jen is lovely. She communicates and keeps us informed of our appointments.

Came here with a very unfortunate smile due to poor oral hygiene directly related to mental health issues and a total fear of the dentist. This team is incredible. For years I’ve tried to hide my smile out of embarrassment and avoided dentists that don’t understand and make you feel less than human.

I’ve had 5 root canals and 6 crowns across two appointments. It was the easiest two visits I may have ever had at a dentist. We discussed how I had gotten to the point I was at, and there was no judgement, just desire to fix it.

Dr. Gelo is truly one of the best dentists in the city. Whether it's a cleaning, cosmetic or even pediatric, he does it all. And he's a genuinely nice person, as is Jenn and the rest of the staff. As someone that went to the same dentist my whole life (my grandfather) it was hard moving to a new practice after he retired, but Dr. Joe made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Have been coming here for years even through owner change and love the experience every time. Jen always keep me on track with scheduling and rest of staff is always so kind.

What really sets this place apart is they always educate me on oral health while they work on my teeth. They don't just do an amazing job, they also teach me how to take care of my teeth and gums so I won't need the major procedures in the future.

5/5 Stars this place is awesome, came in for a root canal and new crown replacement, from the moment I booked my appointment on the phone , to walking in the door, and sitting in the chair to get my work done the staff is amazing, kind and talk you through step by step what’s going on and how billing will work. I don’t usually write too many reviews, but had to on this one. Dr. Gelo and his staff are all amazing, professional, extremely helpful, and always accommodating to the patients needs. I’m extremely grateful for helping out my mom as she had a very difficult situation and had to be seen almost immediately. I had such a bad experience in my very short time here that I immediately got a new dentist. They insisted on removing a crown that I didn't feel was necessary but they used scare tactics and bullied me until I gave in. They had to fight to get it off. Then the new crown almost immediately fell out - within 60 days. I was just eating and it fell out... I had to pay out of pocket for that replacement because insurance on crowns is limited and they wanted me to return to the dentist who put it in for replacement coverage. Not a chance. I found a great dentist on Blue Diamond that I went to for years, and then years ago I moved out of state. But then for some reason this place decided they wanted to spam people that didn't want to be clients anymore. So that's another bonus - they won't ever leave you alone! Good luck...

When you walk in you’re greeted by Jen she is the receptionist. She is always so kind and happy. She will help you with any questions you may have. Doctor G is fantastic! He listens to everything you say and is amazing at his job. The end product always looks good and he does his best to be as gentle as possible! Definitely the best dentist I’ve ever been to!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Gelo for a dental check-up and I must say, it was a great experience. From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who made me feel comfortable and at ease.

I came in for my exam this morning and had great customer service and experience from front and back of house. It was really quick which was nice because I’m used to waiting a long time at medical offices. The doctor was very nice and calming he explained everything I needed and let me know different treatment plans. I didn’t feel pressured into anything and I love weighing out my options. Once upon a time I used to get anxious and scared when I had to go to the dentist, but when I went to amazing smiles it was a wonderful experience versus the experience I had in the past at this other place on flamingo. I can't remember the name and the other place either 😔. About Amazing Smiles They provide a nice relaxing atmosphere with super comfortable chairs that you never want to get up from. The people that work there are awesome, have wonderful personalities with great sense of humor and are very understanding. They always making sure that you're okay while they're working on teeth. They did amazing work on my deep cleaning and when I had my tooth fix you can't even tell. I recommend them to all. Including those that get anxious or scare of the dentist. I promise you can't go wrong with these guys.

If I could give this office 10 stars I would! The office was very welcoming and cozy as soon as I walked in. I was checked in by a friendly front desk and within minutes the assistant came and told me we were ready for X-rays. I was pleasantly surprised because usually when I go to a doctors office I have to wait at least 30 minutes + to be seen. I was seen by Dr. Gelo who was kind, knowledgeable and really listened to my concerns. He let me know what the issue was and gave me options to my treatment. I really love that he wasn't trying to upsell me he was more concerned about the integrity of my teeth. When we started the procedure the doctor and dental assistant calmed my nerves and made sure I was comfortable and explained everything throughout the procedure. I'm really happy I found this place!

Today I came in to Dr. Chau's office because I had major pain on my tooth and Dr. Chau and staff were AMAZING!! Dr. did a thorough exam and I was informed I needed a Root Canal even if it was 4:30pm and the office closes at 5:00pm because I was in so much pain she stayed after hours with one of her staff members Daniel and it was a difficult, hot tooth but they made my visit very comfortable. That's why I love coming to her office she is the best, always gives quality work and goes out of her way.

Listen to the previous review and steer clear of this office. My Saturday emergency appointment was set for a filling that came out and I'm told that tooth needs a root canal performed. My insurance couldnt be verified on a weekend for some reason yet I was assured if we proceeded with the root canal then, the insurance could be sorted out Monday.

Well, I went with my gut feeling and said no root canal. Monday morning I contact my my current dentist and new x-rays didn't show any sign of root canal being needed. I'm fact the new x-rays didn't look anything like the ones I saw at this office. A simple procedure almost turned into a very expensive and drawn out process.

My 6 month follow up checkup was just completed and still no sign of me needing this done.

I had gone to this office on a Saturday morning with an emergency visit expecting to need a crown replacement and was told I needed a full root canal plus the crown due to trauma that was below the gum line. I asked to see the xray's so that I could understand why this procedure was needed. I decided not to have the root canal or crown done that day because my insurance could not be verified and on Monday I went to my regular dentist who did a full mouth xray + photos and said that the tooth I was about to have a root canal was healthy and did not need one. I examined the new xray's and there is no trauma whatsoever shown in any of them. He performed a second set on the specified area and still nothing. Get a second opinion before having any major work done by this office! Weekend availability wasn't good enough for me to trust them.

Dr. Chau and her entire staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I had to schedule an appointment last minute for my fiance and they were incredibly accommodating. She ended up needing to have a wisdom tooth removed, which Dr. Chau handled easily. My fiance had no pain or complications after the procedure.

The office is incredibly modern and clean. The location is also very convenient (close to the 215) and there is plenty of parking. In addition to the friendly staff, I was particularly impressed with their technology (including digital x-rays and electronic forms for new patients). I would highly recommend Dr. Chau and her staff to anyone looking for a dentist.
