My husband is in desperate need of a wound doctor who can come to our home. He has wounds behind his knees that were caused by his wheelchair. We were referred to Vital Wound Care. I was speaking with them over the phone for two weeks prior to his appointment. I filled out all the forms including one for them to get my husband's medical records. I received a phone call the day before his scheduled appointment at 5:05 p.m. from Vital Care telling me that as of tomorrow (the day of my husband's appointment) they were closing their doors and going out of business. I was shocked and mortified by this news. How can a medical facility leave a patient stranded like that! They referred me to Wound Tech who told me they don't take Medicare. These people don't care about their patients. They only care about how much it's going to cost them to take care of these patients.

My dad had this wound that wouldn’t heal for over 2 years, we’d been in and out of clinics and nothing worked. Having them come to the house honestly made life a lot easier, especially with my work schedule and trying to get him to appointments all the time. It wasn’t some overnight miracle or anything, but after a few visits we started seeing real changes. The wound specialist NP Aiyn was very nice and did a lot of work to make sure my dad’s wound finally healed. We saw real results after aa couple of visits. Thank you Aiyln for being such a huge help.

I’m so grateful for the incredible care my grandmother received from Vital Wound Care. They came directly to our home, which was such a relief since it was hard for her to get around. The nurse who visited was not only professional but treated my grandmother with such warmth and respect.
Her wound was quite severe, but thanks to the personalized care and attention, she’s healed now. The nurse took the time to explain every step of the treatment and showed us how to continue care between visits. It gave our family so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands.
