Upon checking everyone was very nice , the young lady that checked me in was very kind and friendly forgot her name but she had curly hair very professional, the MA that took me in to take my vitals also was very kinda . I got seen by Savannah Pearson NP and was very professional and took care of me very well , I had previously went to a UMC quick care and did not get the best care so i decided to try another urgent care . This will be the one I will be going to moving forward.

Dr. Tien is a meticulous, highly skilled surgeon whose precision and attention to detail quite literally change lives. During my procedure, he removed four polyps from my colon, one of which was precancerous, taking a decisive step that may have prevented the development of colon cancer. The life saving work he does has undoubtedly protected not just me, but countless others.

Because of his diligence and commitment to thorough, timely care, I’ve been given the opportunity to move forward with intention. Now it is my responsibility to honor that gift, starting with improving my health and increasing my fiber intake. I am deeply grateful for his expertise, his vigilance, and the care he provides so compassionately.

Best surgery center in Las Vegas. From check in, to the staff, to the surgery and recovery. Top notch. We are very fortunate to have this facility in our community.

I just had EGD today
Linden was my preop nurse and Kelly in recovery room. Dr Posner my gastroenterologist , Anesthesiology also excellent team. Everyone was very professional, my husband waited with me and was informed on my progress the entire time. I would highly recommend and I would not go anywhere but SMA Rancho surgery center.

It’s been about a week since my surgery. I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived, first person, that greeted me, the best person to welcome me in, for prep, was Cindy the Pre-Op nurse, if I had issues, they disappeared, with Cindy’s Excellent care and knowledge, she’s most personable, warm. All the staff, were wonderful. Dr Pierson, the Anesthesiologist, she gave her reassurance she’d be right there, although, didn’t see too much of anything after that, except brief encounter with two active, caring nurses, assisted me with surgery protocols, I said Hi to my Dr Henry Chiu, Gastroenterologist, alot of the reason for following through for this. Woke up to Kim the Recovery nurse she was kind, as well as informative. Amazing and Outstanding team. Kudos to each of you!

I could not be happier with my visit. From minute 1 I was attended to by the check in staff, courteous, friendly, so polite. My nurse, Ro, was so caring, explained every step and followed through on it. This is the kind of place every healthcare center should strive to be

South West Medical is a SCAM!!! Went in for my annual and the Doctor coded it diffrently so I can be fully responsible for all the fees because I have a high deductible!! When it's your annual visit it's free as it's only once a year!!! Talked to management they said they will not make any changes to my file as that is how they run their business!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I would give a 4 because the wait time was too much. But have to give the people there a 5. Arrived early a.m. for child's wisdom teeth surgery only to wait about 2 hours. Annoying but the staff brings it to a 5. Staff at registration, courteous. The nurse (Roy) pre surgery, kind, professional, relaxed my nervous child. Kind and professional anesthesiologist I wish I had her name, but she had a mask and couldn't catch it. Dr Glyman was A+ surgeon and very kind to us. Thank you to all (work on the scheduling!)

They rescheduled me to come in 1 hour earlier because they over scheduled.
LONG story short, they forgot to put me on the schedule. Changed surgeons; and had to “fit me in”.Almost 2 hours later was informed the had to change all my paper work. And they brought me someone else’s pepper wok to sign off on. I was there for an endoscopy. The nurse brought me paper work for a colonoscopy, with someone else name on it.Terrifying.

My experience is for an EGD & Colonoscopy.
Colonoscopy prep required no solid foods for the whole day prior and morning of. I was light headed, anxious and hungry-all of the makings of a possibly horrible experience. Thankfully with each and every interaction I had with the staff, I was put at ease and before I knew it I was being nudged awake and the procedures were over!

Starting with Vanessa at check in, who is one of the calmest and cheerful front desk person I have ever come across, to friendly and attentive Claire&Keely at my prep, efficient Maribeck in the procedure room and ending with informational and helpful Tammy&Denise at recovery.

What to expect:
There is an upper and lower level entrance to the building, for my procedures I was supposed to go to the lower level. Turning into the building off of Charleston, the first entrance you come across is the upper level-which is where I went in. I was then guided to utilize the elevator to go down the lower level. Make sure to look for the lower level instead since that is where your designated driver needs to pick you up after the procedure. Your DD can accompany you and wait for you at the waiting room if preferred (or in the parking lot), if not both check in and the preop RN will confirm the contact information for your DD.
Check in will need your photo ID, insurance card and your copay/deductible/coinsurance will be collected. They will also confirm your demographic information, medication list, medical history, and that you underwent your prep.
I had about a 15min wait after check in before I was taken back for preop. A bag was provided to put all my personal belongings, I was asked if any valuables needed to be noted. After I changed into the gown and socks provided, my vitals were taken and my IV was started. RN called my DD to confirm they were my ride and to go over the post procedure information.
Dr Denise, anesthesiologist, came to introduce herself and ask if I had any questions. I was then wheeled into the procedure room where Dr Tian introduced himself and gave a brief explanation of what the two procedures entailed. I was instructed to lay on my side, Dr Denise advised me that I would feel a little burn as the propofol enters my system…and then I was nudged awake by Denise in the recovery room.
I was sent home with a folder with instructions and informational sheets to refer to.

Overall, great experience 👍🏼👍🏼

Upon arriving March 9, 2023 for my oral surgery with Dr. Glyman. I was petrified. Until I met Vanessa @ the front desk. She was so sweet, comforting & helpful. She immediately took my level down a notch. Bring me to Mary, (Initial Nurse) & Vincent (Head Nurse), Michelle & Courtney (Nurses in the OR), Dr. Rosario (Anesthesiologist), Dr. Glyman (Oral Surgeon), Michelle (Recovery Nurse) & Keely! She called the following day to check on me & ask if I had any questions! You are all phenomenal & I could not have hand picked a better team for myself & my care. Truly amazing & I thank you all from the bottom of my heart! XOXOXO

In a word: OUTSTANDING. The entire staff was absolutely great. The hero of the day was the IV Tech or nurse. I was nervous about that being painful, she was such a pro at her job that it was almost zero pain! Wow! Just thanks to all for making a stressful experience, really great. I will say yes, it can be tricky with the phone system to get connected to a live person, but eventually someone did return my calls which was good. Thank you to the entire staff!

A VERY POORLY RUN CENTER. THE STAFF THAT CHECKS IN PTS ACT DO JADED AND BURNT OUT. THEY TREAT PTS AND FAMILY VERY POORLY, THEIR TONE AS IF PRIPLE ARE CHILDREN THAT NEED TO OBEY. THE WAITING AVERAGE IS OVER AN HOUR WHEN THEY URGE PEOPLE TO BE ON TIME. THEY LOUGH WHEN PTS AND FAMILY GET UPSET AND RIGHT OUT SAY “PEOPLE ARE CRAZY “ because prople dare complain. They say “ rides got to go”. We paying their salary and they act as doing us a favor. VERY POORLY RUN CENTER, worst I have I seen in my career.

From walking into the center on 8/18/2022 for a colonoscopy to exiting the center was phenomenal. I have had several surgical procedures performed at this center over the years & have never experienced any problems. The staff from check-in to recovery have always been awesome, professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind & helpful. I couldn't imagine having my surgeries at any other facilities! This place is a joke. My sisters doctor sent over a referral back in July and has not received a call for scheduling as of yet. I called several times only to hear different stories, one being they don't have a referral for her to we got the referral and need to get a authorization. I work in a doctors office for over 20 years and I have never seen anything like this in my life. Even getting lab results or any type of results from them is very frustrating. I will not give not 1 star for this place.
Let it be known I am not the only doctors office that feel this way about this place. Still right now I'm just getting off the phone with a manager who said they have to make a chart for my sister and they will call back once the chart is made. I feel sorry for the people who their insurance will only allow them to only go to this place.
SOUTHWEST MEDICAL IS BY FAR THE WORST MEDICAL FACILITY. The only reason they get a star from me is because it will not let me post without one.

This place is great! I had two procedures done here at the same time (GI floor). Front staff was friendly and efficient. Nurses and medical assistant answered all my questions, were patient, very personable and didn’t make me feel rushed. They helped calm my nerves since I had to go alone due to COVID-19. Doctor answered all my questions before the procedures. Post-op nurse was funny, helpful and kind.

This place is a well oiled machine! They are friendly, caring, kind, yet efficient and patient. I would gladly go back there. Fingers crossed I won’t have to. Two thumbs up from this very happy patient!

I was extremely happy with my experience at this facility. At every step in the process I was treated with the utmost professionalism and everyone was very kind. The surgery itself only took a half hour for extracting 5 molars! It's only been one day and I feel like I'm recovering well with no issues whatsoever.

Horrible avoid this place at all cost they will have you wait 5 hours the whole waiting room full with no seats available due to booking everyone at the same time: I guess there are 2 doctors doing 6-7 surgeries per hour. Let’s not forget these are people of course it’s all about the money. When I asked the front desk if 4-5 hour wait it’s normal for them. Something definitely wrong with this place and our healthcare system in general.

They do a good enough job but don't bring your toddler who is screaming in pain because they will not see you in severity of illness. We waited in the lobby for two hours with our puking, screaming, toddler while people went in and out in and out. I've been to other offices before but was closest to this one so I came here. The other offices do see you on level of severity but this one.. Not so much.

It is hard to find a hard-working team, Southwest does an amazing job! Questions were answered promptly, politely, and in detail. Anyone who gives this facility anything, but a 5 Star is off their rocker! I would like to extend a Big Thank You, Jan, it was nice to see how well you kept things moving and making me feel like a person and not a number. Best Wishes, Oria.
