I will never return to American Urgent Care ever again! My husband, daughter, and I went for a routine visit a year ago and we were charged for several blood tests that we were assured over and over were covered by our insurance. A routine visit with our insurance is covered at 100%, but the additional blood work turns out was not. I have spent the last year going back and forth between the insurance, Quest Diagnostics, and trying to get ahold of the doctor's office billing department to get this resolved. The doctor's office billing never calls me back even though they promise they will. I wasted so many hours on the phone over the past year trying to get the doctor's office to do something, but they refuse to cover or write off any of the bills they misleadingly told us were covered. To make matters worse, there is no online portal to view test results, so we had to come in to get them and were charged an office visit for each of us.
They also randomly text us at night that we have an appointment the next day. They've done it several times and I keep telling them I never made another appointment.
There is no MD/DO on site, so I thought if anything it would be cheaper to be seen, but I was very wrong.

I've seen Dr shinley for years for a neck injury I've struggled with since 2012, She is now at this location so obviously I followed her. The receptionist, Kristine, is also very punctual, friendly, and efficient. Real treatment, no unnecessary bull, and reasonable prices. Go here if that's what your looking for.

Whether you have children teenagers, you're in your twenties or you're an elderly woman like myself. The best place to go for Primary Care is American Urgent Care on Cactus and Dean Martin. Shinley Pangilinan is really awesome and very understanding, LISTENS and helps me every single time I go in there with advice and suggestions. Not pushy, narcissistic or any negatives you get from most Las Vegas based Doctors/Nurse Practitioners who don't "HEAR" you at all. She's great!!! Christine at the desk is so happy and helpful all the time. Generally you go into a provider's office and you see all their faces with no smiles. They're just diligently into their laptops or their cell phones and it's like "sign in, okay, fill this out okay, have a seat, we will call you when there is a room ready"...Very depressing. You don't get this with Shinley or Christine. Believe me, you'll love going there and using them as your Primary physicians for your whole family.🩺⚕️🩺

American Urgent Care and Primary Center is fairly new in the Southern Highlands area & its suite can be easily missed as it’s situated behind KFC. Don’t let that stop you from going here if you’re in need of a primary or urgent care. There’s plenty of parking, no traffic congestion. Clinic lobby is spacious & clean. Once you enter, you’re greeted by Kristine, the front desk medical assistant who’s approachable, friendly & patient. She keeps the clinic flowing smoothly. I came in to see FNP Shinly Pangilinan, who listened to my concerns & spoke with me as a patient to discuss plan of action of my current medical issue, instead of just telling me what she wants to do with me. Great friendly environment & short waits!

I was provided wonderful and friendly service by Christine, the front desk medical assistant, as soon as I called and arrived at the location. There was little to no wait time and I was seen within 5-7 mins.
The provider, Shinly Pangolinan, as well as Christine, took the time to discuss my condition and provide education and proper instruction about prescribed medication, and about my health goals and the expected outcomes. I didn't feel just like a number but that the staff care about their patients. This is for sure a great place to make sure your primary and preventative care needs are met.
