I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Christensen. When dealing with cancer, time is of the essence. She always put in referrals and orders immediately, ensuring there were no delays in my treatment. She's very thorough, caring, and empathetic. Her advisement and care has saved my life. She truly listened to me, and found solutions when I experienced symptoms or roadblocks. I will forever be grateful for her.

Dr. Christiansen has been my doctor for the last 8-9 years. She's excellent and very knowledgeable and I really like her. My only issues have been with the CCCN machine. Not sure why they decided to relocate her to downtown when Henderson is growing. Not happy I have to drive, but I guess I should be grateful that CCCN employs great doctors like Drs. Christiansen and Kingsley (cured my Mom) so we didn't have to leave town for phenomenal care.

I just moved to NV mid-January, 2024. My GP here and my previous oncologist recommended Dr. Christianson. I have been trying to established at your practice for 2 months. I paid for and had my records personally delivered to you by myself and was told by your practice then Dr. Christianson would decide if I would be accepted or not. I was told several times your computer system wasn't working and finally after many weeks I was given an April 17th 115pm appointment. Today, April 15th at about 230pm I was called and told you are canceling my appt. because you don't accept my insurance. You would think after 2 months you would have known this information right away upon reviewing my records and the insurance information I provided. I don't know what kind of outfit your running there but I will NEVER recommend your practice to anyone if this is the way you treat new patients. I felt like I was trying to get into Harvard going through all the hoops and being told you would finally make a decision and an appt. when your computers worked again. I am very disappointed and deserve an apology from Dr. Christianson for the way I have been treated.

This is the worst place you can get in touch with if you need a hematologist. It’s not bad enough that you are sick and you need medical assistance, but it’s outrageous that people who swore to provide care are the ones to waste your precious time. And that’s exactly what had happened to me.
I had a stroke few weeks ago and I was advised to see a specialist. My regular doctor recommended me to Dr Christensen. I’ve called the office to schedule an appointment but there was no answer, so I left a message. There was no call back for 2 days so I called again and left another message. A couple of hours later they called me back and asked me for all kinds of info, from the referral form through the lab test, insurance card, ID etc. I’ve e-mailed all the documents they requested in hope to get an appointment for an office visit. Unfortunately it did not turned out that way. They did not called me back for days so I left few other messages. After a few days the assistant called me back and told me that the doctor is not taking any new patience and that was it. Why did they asked me for all the diagnosis, referrals and such if they are not taking new patience? They could’ve told me that at the firs time and I wouldn’t waste two weeks of my time.

Dr. Christensen will not see me without a PET scan. I have already had surgery without the benefit of being able to speak to an oncologist and now all I would like to do is have a consultation with a cancer doctor about cancer before I do anything else. I have questions about PET scans, cancer treatment in general, and a PET scan while dealing with another medical issue I have. If I can't ask a cancer doctor basic cancer questions without asking for a treatment plan who am I supposed to ask?

at first I was mad that I was diagnosed with cancer the big C that nobody wants to hear. Dr. Christensen was firmed its either you stay on the plan or go. I decided to stick around. I did six months of chemo currently on targeted therapy and remission. Now I go to CCCNV with a smile. The nurses became family and friends. I like going to "the spa" as I refer to the chemo room.

She is simply fantastic! She spends as much time with me at my appointments as I need; there have been times I have been with her for more than an hour as she answers all my questions. She takes the time to explain labs/tests/results, prints off research and journal articles for me, and genuinely cares. For someone who went from perfectly healthy to being diagnosed with a rare blood clotting disorder, I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor to monitor my care!
