My teen kids have been going to Anthem Pediatric Dentistry since they were toddlers. Dr. Cox is just an incredible, no nonsense and upbeat Dr who I really like working with for my kids dental health. What a great place for children to go to the dentist! I was nervous because it was my two year old son's first trip to the dentist. He is a wiggly, strong, and independent boy.

From the time we entered he loved the under the sea decor. We were called back immediately and the hygienist and dentist were very understanding about my concerns and professional. My son did have a few tears because he wasn't in control, but the appointment was over before I could even finish the paperwork! Then my son got to pick something from the treasure box.

Since I needed to finish the paperwork, we went into their theater. My son loved their theater. It was difficult to leave because my son loved it so much.

I have been bringing my son here since I moved back in 2021. He’s 4 now & just got his first big boy cleaning with the machines & the noise & even the X-rays. This was my daughters (3 years old) first cleaning experience and from the minute we walked in the door everyone made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The waiting room is very kid friendly with games and toys. The office is modern but feels comfortable for kids. They have TVs in the ceiling for the kids to watch while getting their teeth looked at. All the staff were great with my daughter and made her feel very comfortable. The dentist was great and gave me a lot of information about moving forward with my daughter. Starting from the front desk lady, Tammy, who is always friendly and helpful to the knowledgeable assistants and Dr. Cox. My kids have been seen by doctor Cox for the last 9 years. I’d not trust anyone else to take care of my kids’ dental health. Dr. Cox is extremely professional and always take his time to review the patient and also discus with the parents. Geralyn was fantastic! She was kind and inviting and my son was so comfortable with her. She explained everything as she was doing it and she was very considerate of my son’s hearing aides. Dr. Cox was very cool, casual (no rigid lab coat) explained everything happening presently and what to work towards as well as what to plan/save for in a few years. Overall, our first visit was wonderful, everyone in the office is friendly. The whole office is designed for kids in mind, very clean and lots of cool stuff to check out on the walls. Both my girls went in for their 6 month cleaning/check up today and Lyndsey C. was fantastic. Both my girls actually loved getting their teeth cleaned and Lyndsey even got my 2 year old to take the x-ray pictures of her teeth. I've been taking my 2 boys here since they were 2 and the staff are always very friendly and great with my boys. The atmosphere is perfect for children and the new office is even better than the previous, which IMO was pretty nice. The location is great and parking is never an issue. Finally, they have a staff of highly skilled dentists and hygienists which is the primary reason my 2 boys are still here and they are now ages 7 and 9. I highly recommend this dentistry.

I must say, Anthem Pediatric Dentistry definitely lives up to its great reviews! Every single staff member that I encountered was nothing but friendly. And with 3 kids, I thought the wait would be a little long but it was surprisingly quick. And even if we did have to wait a while, which we didn’t, I wouldn’t have mind because the waiting area is pretty amazing. The office is well kept and they have a big staff which is probably why wait time is very minimal. My children were seen by Dr. Wes who was great. This place really came through for us during a dental emergency. My son who is 3 took a face dive while running and knocked two of his front teeth out of place. This office was able to get him in same day. Although he was in pain and throwing a tantrum while they treated his traumatized teeth, the staff was professional, kind, and came through for him. I really appreciate them stepping up and helping us out during our dental emergency. It wasn't how I wanted them to meet our kids, however; I look forward to taking them there for their dental care in the future. There is no doubt that we had a great experience Anthem Pediatric Dentistry. Tammy at the front for the last 8 to 9 years that we’ve been going there it has been amazing every single time. I have never had an issue with her. Tammy always makes us feel really welcomed, greets us and says goodbye at the end of our visit. Gabby is very helpful and super nice and sweet. Dr. Wes is a great doctor he knows what he’s doing and knows how to talk to the kids. He asked all my 3 kids what Grade in school they are in and started talking to them and made their visit feel personal thank you Dr. Wes. The best part of our visit Lyndsey C. Is amazing. You could always tell when somebody loves their job instead of just liking it. Lyndsey C. makes the kids feel really comfortable. That is a big plus in this line of work She has high energy, great attitude, and amazing personality. I have had my 3 kid’s been coming here, but the two are now older 20 years old and 18 years old. My 7 years old son is always excited coming here. He started coming here when he was only 1 1/2 years old and been seeing Dr Cox. But today he was seen by Dr Kinner and they are both good and always nice with kids. I have been taking my 3 girls here for about 15 years. Dr. Cox is amazing. This last time we were there both of my girls complained the hygienist was extremely aggressive and it was painful. both complained afterwards. Checking out was not pleasant either. She spoke as little as possible to me and barely greeted me. this is the first time I have had any complaints about this office. Maybe just an off day for everyone but was very odd to have an experience like that.

I was very anxious bringing my 2 year old twin girls to their first dental appointment, but Dr. Purcell was amazing. He didn’t push when my girls were a little hesitant. He let them take control. I’ve been bringing my son to Anthem Pediatric Dentistry for about 7+ years and with every visit I love them more and more, everyone is always so nice and friendly, appointments are usually available right away. The assistants and the doctors are always awesome with my son, I brought him here after a bad experience with another dental office when he was 3 years old, he was so afraid and the doctor was so patient with him. My son didn’t let them check him that day and Dr. Cox said it was okay because he will be fine next time he came for a visit and the doctor was right eventually my son started cooperating and since that first visit I knew I would bring my son here for the rest of his childhood, he will be 12 next week and he loves his clean up appointments and is excited to get braces :)

My daughter is new to this office. Making an appointment was a breeze. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped me with insurance questions I had. I was able to make an appointment just a few days out for an exam and cleaning for my daughter. The waiting area is fun for kids, like too fun, and I had to coax her away when we were called. The dentist and hygienist were friendly and patient with my daughter (first dentist visit so there was some crying). All the great reviews are true. The building is only one year old and has a ton of cool things inside. The staff were super nice, friendly and caring for my little sister. She loved it and despite being nervous at first, they put her at ease. Quick service and very knowlegeable, shares tips with the kids on how to brush and floss correctly. Well I think it’s time we switch my kids to my adult dentist. I really wanted to like it here but we keep having issues. Today we waited for almost an hour past our appointment in the lobby before even being called back. Then once we got back there we had two assistants for my 3 children, one was great! She was sweet and gentle with my child. The other was rude and rough. She didn’t say hi, greet us, nothing. And she was yanking my child’s mouth around and splashing water all over his face. I even called her out on that and she didn’t apologize, she wipes at his face with a wet towel so it didn’t help. We didn’t get any new toothbrushes or floss or anything we were just rushed out the door. Dr. Cox is great and I am sad to be leaving him, but the rest is just too much to continue to deal with every visit. So we will go to a regular dentist where they have trained hygienists who know more and have better bedside manner if you will. Hope this helps someone else!

I have been coming to Anthem Pediatric Dentist since I was 6 yrs old. Now I’m 15 and I love coming to this place . I have had 2 small cavities in my posterior molars that have been caught by Dr. Cox since they are just a tiny Dot. The staff is always very professional and friendly. We have been to this dentist office for nearly 12 yrs. Dr Cox is the absolute best!!! He’s patient, kind and very experienced. We have been to a couple other dentists a little throughout the years due to insurance changes and NO one compares to Anthem Pediatric Dentistry. The whole staff is amazing and friendly. Robin was amazing today. She cleaned my 7yr olds teeth today. My 7yr old was scared to come to the dentist as usual. Tears and all. But Robin made it very fun and got her mind off being scared. I absolutely love this dentist office. We had our first visit in August and my son had some cavities that needed to be filled. Dr. Ellsworth was so personable and patient with me and all my questions because my son has anxiety about the dentist. We figured out a game plan for filling his cavities where my son would be most comfortable. Today was the day to have his cavities filled. They gave him his medicine so it would kick in and then we went back. Lyndsey C. Was the assistant and she was absolutely wonderful. It was as if my son was her own child. She walked through every step with him so he wouldn’t be afraid. Talked to him and made him feel comfortable. Dr. Ellsworth got it all done in one visit so we wouldn’t have to sedate him again. When we were done Lyndsey sat with him while I checked out and thank goodness she did because he got a little pale and queasy. Lyndsey noticed it right away since I was preoccupied paying. She brought him back to the room to give him a little more oxygen and to see if he had to vomit which he did. The whole time rubbing his back and head making him feel better. What a fantastic experience for a child who has anxiety about going to the dentist. A friend recommended me to you guys and I am so glad. Thank you for treating my son like he is your own and being so patient.

My daughter is shy and at the previous dentist she cried the whole time so after reading all the great comments from Anthem pediatric I went there today and I can't say enough on how amazing the staff was to my daughter and my 1 year old boy! We always enjoy our experience with the staff at Anthem Pediatric Dentistry. We rarely have a wait time and if we do it's minimal. The staff are personable and caring and really enteract with the children and not just the parents. Dr. Cox is our "go to" dentist for our daughter and has been for approximately 4 years. He has a great bedside manner and we trust him completely with our daughters care. My daughter and her friend also see him as somewhat of a celebrity....we saw him at a convenience store some years ago and my daughter was so excited to see him!

Had an appointment for my 4 year old daughter who never lets any one work on her mouth..... until today!! Alexis with APD was so awesome with my daughter! Alexis was able to get some beautiful X-rays, quick and thorough cleaning, flossing, and checked all around! Then Dr. Wes came in and was just as awesome with her. BEST pediatric dentistry I’ve ever been too! They are so gentle, caring and patient with my child I can’t even thank them enough. They made him feel so special and so brave with every little procedure they did. They make sure they don’t scare your kids from ever coming back to the dentist by not pushing them too far and by letting them feel every instrument and letting them know exactly what they’re going to do and how it’s going to feel too! I wish they made adult dental offices like this. They make it such a cool and comfortable place to visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a whole underwater ship theme to the office. The waiting area is spacious with big comfy chairs that have charging ports! They have toddler sized toilets in their very clean and updated bathrooms. We love Anthem Pediatric Dentistry. We have been going there since we first moved here six years ago. We go to Dr Ellsworth, but have had opportunities to see other dentists there and they are all great. Dr Ellsworth is totally in my comfort zone, he takes good care of my boys’ teeth without being overly aggressive with too many fillings. I like his wait-and-see approach with some of the cavities in baby teeth.
The office is like Disneyland. My kids love going there! The whole staff is very pleasant. I can’t say enough good things about it!

My kids have going to this dentist office for 10 plus years and we’ve never been disappointed. My kids love it here! It’s always clean, the office decor is fun and kid friendly. The old school Pac Man and Galaga arcade games are fun for both kids and parents. Both hygienists and dentists are always friendly, my kids are always comfortable with whoever works on them. My little one loves spinning the wheel and getting a prize at the end of his apt, it’s a great incentive to get him back in the chair. And it’s a definite plus to have friendly and efficient receptions to check us in and out. I didn’t catch anyone’s name that did my son’s treatment today besides Babette, she checked us out at the end. She was professional, friendly, calm, quick and efficient with our check out process. Yes it is a good place to take your kids. But given everything that happened in a year I wasn’t able to take my kids. It’s been a year since they last have been seen. I called to make an appt they said they do not take liberty anymore. But I have a friend who is a new patient with also the same plan & was able to go. Not sure if they are lying or just refuse to take us. But definitely wouldn’t bother with this place since they lie. Also they did not charge her but last time I went I was charged each visit. We have the same exact plan! So it obviously doesn’t make any sense to me. I wouldn’t trust this place at all.

We took our 2.5 yr old son here for his first appt when he was 1.5 yrs old. They were great!!! I had no idea how they would convince my wild child to sit and get his teeth cleaned and checked but he did just fine. Kalpana is amazing and we had a really tough situation since my daughter has a cleft in her gum. She was patient and helped when my daughter needed extra panels. Dr. Cox was very committed to making sure he knew exactly what's going on with her cleft and doing what's right for my daughter. We were also helped by Victoria who was super sweet and awesome. Dr. Cox is calm and gentle with her so that she has a pleasant experience while they check for cavities and apply fluoride. He’s great about answering questions and offers a ton of advice on how to have your children care for their teeth. The wait is never incredibly long and yet I also never feel rushed by staff. I highly recommend this pediatric dental office!

I was a new patient from out of state! The process was fast we waited less than 10 mins (5-7min).
I took my girls ages from 9 and 3. The smallest was so scared but they warmed her up to actually clean and do the exam! But really loved the atmosphere!

My little one is now looking forward to the next visit. And I have to admit she’s scared of any new atmosphere.

We’ve been coming to Anthem Pediatric Dentistry since my daughter was a year old. She’s turning 13 this summer. This tells you the quality of care that we have been receiving at this office. Dr. Ellsworth is very friendly & answers questions & concerns we may have. The new office is hectic but remains to be organized. We don’t wait for a long time. Friendly staff. Nice building , went here cause my son's dentist was out of town. Not planning on going there ever again . They won't believe my son that his mouth was hurting him when they pulled out his tooth. And he was letting out screams of pain not just screams of fear. The dentist said he was going to put a bracer in afterwards to make sure his teeth won't move but then didn't so that we would come back to him .I wasn't impressed . Nice office , nice staff. So I am giving it three stars but wouldn't recommend to people .

Very friendly place. Took my toddler for her first dentist visit and she was not scared. They explained what they were going to do and made it fun. She got a cleaning and xrays and the entire time she watched the tv in their office. They have a kids play room and theatre room while they’re waiting prior to their appointment but we did not wait long. After her cleaning was done and it was time to go they gave her stickers, bracelets, a sugar free lollipop, and a new toothbrush and toothpaste. She enjoyed her visit very much and asked to back. Office was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. Will be going back.

I wouldn't bring my children any where else. This place is amazing and very personable. They make us feel like family. Dr Cox is amazing and he trears my children like his own. By far the best dental experience my kids have had. My kids love going here. We have been coming since 2011. They are so amazing with children of all ages. Mine started as young as 2 and some are being taken care of well into their teens. This place caters to children of all ages. And they know my family by name. We are not just another patient. We are their patients. The wait time is virtually non existent. And we had 6 appointments in one day and with the fluidity of the staff, we were done in 45 minutes. This dentist makes us feel special and doesnt waste our time.

My daughters last dental office said she had 7 cavities! Came here no more than 5 months later and they told us she only had 2! Not that cavities are anything to be proud of but 2 sounds a lot better than 7. So glad we came here for a second opinion. The whole staff was very kind and very thorough. The office is very nice! The facility was fantastic and the front office staff was fine, but we saw Dr. Ellsworth and I was not pleased. It was my 3 year old’s first appointment and she was nervous, but he did nothing to even attempt to calm her down. Or tell her what he was going to do. Or even address her. I would assume a pediatric dentist might be good with kids and have some skills at putting them at ease, but he barreled in, did his thing and left, all the while my daughter was gagging and screaming. I will not take her back to that doctor.

First visit for both our girls 4 & 5 years old. I had so much anxiety about their first visit if we would even make it though. The staff there are so friendly so personable and definitely a perfect fit for kids. My two went right away from the get go from exam to xray to cleaning they loved it... I was asked to arrive an hour early for a procedure. My daughter was supposed to take a drink to make her drowsy when we got there. After waiting the entire hour and inquiring twice they finally got us back to take the drink which takes an additional 45 min to kick in. Once she was taken back they gave her a dose that was supposed to kick in faster since we had already been waiting an hour. Once the techs got her going it went much better. Dr Levi was great and apologetic about the wait. All in all people were very nice but it was also an incredible waste of time.

This is my sons first dental visit. Tammy in the front for check in was very sweet!
Ms. Kalpana was his nurse and she was awesome! She was VERY patient with my son which meant a lot to me! My son gets nervous whenever he's in a new place with new faces so it takes a while for him to warm up. Dr. Kinner was also great! I was worried about how he would do, but the staff here made mine and my sons experience 5 stars! Christina at check out was very thorough in giving me instructions on what to do for my sons dental surgery. When I spent all weekend google seraching for a pediatric dentist, this place was my top choice! I will be scheduling an appointment for my daughter here soon!

Amazing experience! Since this was our first time here, we arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork. First impression, colorful and clean waiting area. My little ones face lit up when she saw the fishes and under water theme painted on the walls. Upon completion of the paperwork, we were called back at exactly our scheduled appointment time. We were taken to a bright and well maintained room and my daughter got instantly comfortable in the dentist chair. The dentist assistant went over a few questions about my daughters health and gave us tips on how to keep her teeth and gums healthy then brushed her teeth and flossed it. The dentist came in a few minutes later and examined her teeth and put flouride on it, then we were good to go. My daughter got to spin the wheel to earn a prize and also left with a goodie bag and stickers. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. It was easy to settle in and enjoy our experience here. I’d definitely recommend them for your little ones Dental needs! They play kid friendly movies on their many tv screens, and they have a small play area as well for kids of all ages. Lots of seating and parking as well and the chairs also have USB ports and outlets on them so you can bring your charger in if your electronics are dying. The location is also easy to find off Eastern. We’re looking forward to my daughters next appointment in six months (:

While this is a pediatric dental office, I have to say, it is the best of all the doctors we have (kids and adults). The wait is never more than a few minutes, the office is clean and beautifully decorated, the kids have tons of stuff to play with, the office staff is always nice, the dental assistants are always nice and patient with the kids, and Dr. Ellsworth is super gentle (my kids don't see Dr. Cox but I'm sure he's great too). They even keep a copy of the CCSD schedule on the counter at EACH of the checkout stations to make it convenient for parents to know when best to schedule appointments for their kids. It's just one of those small things that really shows you how on top of things this office is. This place should teach lessons to the other physicians offices in the Valley.

I have been taking my kids to Anthem Pediatric Dentistry since they were little. The doctors and hygienists are always so nice and accommodating to the feelings of the kids. The office is amazing and really kid friendly, especially the exam rooms which have TVs on the ceilings above the chairs. They are always playing the most up to date movies and even some of the good older movies.

All 5 of my children been coming here since we moved to Las Vegas back in 2017. And I’m beyond pleased with everything about this Dentisty, from the moment you walk-in your greeted with such happy/kind staff. Every Dr./assistance we’ve had has always been polite/patient/respectful/kind to myself and children. The doctors make sure to explain everything with no rushing to the next patient. We were greeted by a cheerful and helpful woman, Tammy, before moving to a kid’s play area as our waiting room. A few minutes a later we were taken back and seen by Doctor Mike Purcell who worked quickly and explained the most important parts of care for my one year olds teeth.
