I would just like to say…hands down this Aspen Dental in CENTENNIAL has been the absolute best dental experience I’ve had in my entire life. The crazy part is that it wasn’t even my experience to rate! I brought my mother in there and from front office all the way to the back office this team has gotten the GOAT reward! A horrible experience. I don’t know who makes the dentures there, but he or she is not skilled at it. After multiple trips, too many, in fact, I received an odd looking, poorly fitting denture that has made me decide to go ahead and incur the cost of implants. It is so disappointing that people don’t take any pride in their work anymore and that they lack the professional courtesy toward those they’re paid to serve. Where has the standard of excellence gone? I went to Aspen Dental because I saw a few people online who were exuberant about the dentures they got there. I decided to give them a try despite all the misgivings I had about franchise dentistry. Well, I made a huge mistake. Don’t you make that same mistake. Go somewhere else!

Fair market pricing for new set dentures. Office staff is wonderful! They always make you feel welcome. Dental assistants were kind and helpful. The dentist seemed knowledgeable. It took many tries to get the dentures looking natural. After the set came back it also took many appointments to make them fit correctly. This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Within minutes she was able to determine what was wrong with my upper denture, this was after taking nearly a year to try and figure it out. If you have dental anxiety the staff here is amazing. I’ve gone to at least a dozen different dentist due to anxiety. This is the first place I’ve been to in years that I didn’t leave having an anxiety attack. The staff is so friendly and took things at the pace I needed. They asked what music I liked and turned it on for me to relax before my procedure.
Dr Hathaway was so great taking care of me. She came up with a couple next steps for me to see what would make me feel the most comfortable. Would stop if I needed a moment to regroup. All around a great dentist.
Kendra did my cleaning and was super gentle. She has some of the best bedside manners I’ve ever had. My anxiety decreased so much through out the cleaning with how sweet she is.
The staff here is top tier. I have not had one complaint or issue. Highly recommend!

I have full mouth Dentures and Implants. Had pain and issues. Before going to Aspen one Dentist charged me over $280 for X-Rays and couldn't help me; A Prosthodontist wanted $30,000. Three other Dentists couldn't help me. Formal Complaint – Poor Communication and Management

I am submitting this complaint regarding Aspen Dental, located at 5930 Centennial Center Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, due to repeated communication failures, poor coordination among staff, and an overall lack of professionalism.

Unfortunately, every visit to this location has resulted in confusion and frustration. The office staff does not appear to communicate effectively with one another, nor do they consistently include the dentist in patient-related discussions. This has led to multiple issues involving scheduling, payments, follow-ups, and treatment delivery.

First Incident – Retainer Pickup

During one visit, I was informed that my final retainer would be ready for pickup and that I would receive a call once it arrived. After two weeks with no contact, I called the office. The receptionist, Tiana, stated there were no notes regarding a retainer—only an upcoming cleaning appointment. She even checked the doctor’s notes and confirmed there was no documentation.

One week later, I unexpectedly received a call stating that my retainer was ready and that I could stop by to pick it up—no appointment required. This was confusing, given the earlier information. When I arrived, I was told I needed to be taken to the back for a fitting with Dr. Castro. This requirement was never communicated beforehand. Due to a time constraint, I declined.

At that point, Libby, the Office Manager, explained that releasing the retainer without a doctor’s fitting was a liability issue. If this was the case, an appointment should have been scheduled from the beginning rather than presenting the pickup as a quick, no-appointment visit.

Second Incident – Cleaning Appointment

During another visit to pick up my retainer, Dr. Castro reviewed my chart and recommended that I come in for a cleaning on Friday. I was informed that Fridays are typically reserved for high-risk or high-infection patients, but this recommendation came directly from Dr. Castro. Kyle, the Dental Assistant, scheduled the appointment in the system. I agreed, especially since my sister was the hygienist scheduled that day.

Despite responding to three confirmation text messages—and being aware that my sister had already confirmed on my behalf—I received multiple phone calls from Virginia requesting verbal confirmation. This felt excessive and unnecessary.

The following Monday, I received a voicemail from Diane stating that I could not come in on Friday and that they wanted to move the appointment to Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. When I called back, the person who answered did not identify themselves; I later learned it was Diane. Throughout the call, she repeatedly interrupted me and did not allow me to explain that Dr. Castro herself had recommended the Friday appointment. It was clear no one had consulted Dr. Castro before contacting me. Instead, I was repeatedly told what “could not” happen.

To date, I have received no apology or follow-up from Libby or Dr. Castro regarding this error or the mishandling of my care.

Overall Experience

This is my second Aspen Dental location, and unfortunately, communication issues appear to be consistent across the organization. I regret continuing my treatment at this office for as long as I did. I would not recommend this location—or Aspen Dental in general—due to the lack of coordination, accountability, and patient-centered care.

I am extremely disappointed with the staff and the lack of effort to resolve these issues. It has been over a week since I canceled my remaining appointments, and no one has followed up.

First, I’d like to say that this was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had in my life when it comes to a new dental office. Virginia and her reception team were absolutely amazing and handling a hiccup on my insurance’s end. They were patient with me and took the time to explain and reassured me that they had taken care of it, which they did. From the time I was in reception to the time that I left everyone – from the dentist to reception to the dental hygienist, even the patient sitting in the waiting room - it was a pleasure. Overall, the staff at Aspen Dental has been very kind and helpful, and the dentist, Sylvia, is wonderful as always. However, during our visit on January 23rd, I had an unpleasant interaction with a woman at the front desk near the exit. My husband has hearing problems, so I speak louder, but she said I was yelling and refused to help me. Another employee Libby assisted us and was very kind and professional. Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but it hurt my feelings, and I do not want to have contact with that person in the future.

I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone experiencing a dental Emergancy. Being from out of town, I was panicked after calling many dental offices and was turned down or told I would have at least a months wait. Most times I could not even reach an office, instead I was put on the automated push this button and speak to a robot circle of doom.

She took her time explaining everything thoroughly without ever making it feel overwhelming or over our heads.

Tiana and Candy were fantastic as well, making sure to slow things down so my wife and I fully understood every aspect of the treatment plan. Kilaya walked us through the X-rays and procedures with clarity and care, keeping the experience completely pain-free 💯.

Aspen from there poor Dental work from Dr Castro put my mom in the Hospital with now no Dentures or teeth the put her in the Hospital. And they as of today refuse to release her Records. Do not go this place .she should not be practicing

This is his review: Aspen Dental (Centennial) employees must love their work, from check-in to check-out they treat you with dignity and respect and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Had a broken crown and decided to pull the tooth. They fit me in the same day! My dentist Silvia was phenomenal. She pulled the tooth and picked out the roots with pinpoint accuracy, never felt a thing! I highly recommend using them you won't be disappointed. They deserve MORE than 5 stars!!!

Highly recommend- 5 stars from me. Kendra is so gentle, I didn't even feel anything while she was administering the novacaine shots. That's NEVER happened before!

I’m a chicken when it comes the dentist. However, I had the absolute best experience! I needed to have a small oral surgery and Stephany the dental assistant made sure to reassure me at every step. Dr. Castro was wonderful!! She was gentle and thorough with everything that was happening. They were great and I can’t say enough good things about them and my entire experience, including the office staff and cleanliness of the office. I highly recommend them!

I was told that they don't do anything to the inside of the upper denture, but the following day when I went to put it in I noticed I had two spots poking me in the gum that we weren't there before. So I took them off and it was obvious they were two pointed spots on either side stabbing me in the back of my gums. But I took care of it and fixed them myself. Don't know if I'll go back there again.

As caregiver of my 106 yr old mom I’ve had to take her to different doctors and she gets very anxious when away from home. When I made her same day appointment with Libby I explained her situation and was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful and warm welcome we received as a new patient, when we arrived and checked in with Tiana! Stephany made sure she was comfortable with every step of the exam and the final results with her temporary repair to her denture. They provided her with a nice comfy blanket since we worn shorts and she was cool in the office and the doctor did an amazing temporary repair that brought her beautiful smile back. We’ll be returning next week to have the permanent repair done for sure based on the quality of the temporary repair and the entire staffs well care for my mom! 🤗

Took my adult autistic son for a next day appointment because of the excellent care that I had received at a previous appointment. All staff from the front desk back was cheerful, prompt, courteous, and informative.
