Absolutely do not recommend this facility. As others have said their communication is abhorent. To start they are archaic in the demand that a referral must be faxed over. I've never encountered an office that does not utilize email. In addition they said it's common for patients to physically drive to their office to make appointments in person. Is that not a hint that your scheduling requirements and phone system suck. Add to that when they receive your referral they don't bother to contact you. You as the prospective patient are supposed to follow up. Never experienced that before either. I heard there was a good Endo here but I'll never know cause they aren't getting anymore of my time. I should have checked Yelp for facility reviews as well as researching the doctor.

Two appointments here were a waste of my time and money. I’m no further ahead than when I first came to the office, and waited months to be able to get into him. The med assts are great but Dr. Bubb, not so much. Without getting too deep into my med history, I found the bedside manner to be arrogant and lacking empathy. He disagreed with the treatment regimen another doc put me on (which was actually helping) but yet he couldn’t give me an answer on how he would otherwise suggest treating my symptoms. I don’t feel like he genuinely listened or cared about trying to resolve my symptoms, which I’ve been struggling through for over a year now. He also shrugged off abnormal lab results with no explanation. I felt like just a number, just a paycheck, not a human patient!

Saw my Dr. Jeremiah Nelson yesterday on 7/21/25. As usual he was excellent, no question about it. Have not seen a doctor like him . Very professional, courteous, explains to us very well , listens to us , gives us his full attention & anything I say will be less . I would like to keep him as my doctor as long as I can . People in the office are friendly, but holy crap do they make it difficult to schedule an appointment. I don't know why they require referral, my insurance doesn't care. But I have to jump through hoops to get a referral so I can see them and give them money. Then they say they need labs, but won't schedule me an appointment until they have them, even though I'm getting them done tomorrow. It's such a waste of time. Why not schedule the appointment now so that by the time the labs are done I'm already in the system? That would make way too much sense and actually be convenient for the patient. Instead, every endocrinologist has to make it as difficult as possible to see them.

I finally!!! Was able to get into see the actual Dr. Bubb. It was had because i have so much going on that needs to be addressed and very little time. Dr Bubb is the best. He takes the time to explain where you are currently and where he'd like you to be/should be. He explains how to get there. By following his guidance I have come from almost a 9 A1C to 6.6 A1C in approximately 6 months. He also asks if you have any questions to make sure you understand. Try to make an appointment with dr budd because he had great reviews. I am currently under an endocrinologist's career. and looking to switch to a new physician, I was told the only way I could make an appointment is to have some type of referral I explained that I do not have a primary care physician and therefore have nowhere to get a referral from. show their reply was sorry we can't help you. Another endocrinologist office is not to give referral to a different endocrinologist. That's absurd. Too bad I can't see Dr Bud. He had great reviews, but whatever.

Why would I reach out to your critical relations team? Are they gonna make me an appointment with Dr Bob with no referral?

Dr Jeremiah Nelson is a true gem! It’s so rare to find an endocrinologist that’s truly understands the day to day of being a type 1 diabetic. I’ve had my fair share of doctors who come off disconnected and judgmental. He’s speaks for his own experience dealing with T1D and truly takes his time answering any and all questions I have and is open to bounce ideas off of. He always explains the “why” which is a huge thing for me. If I understand why I need to do things a certain way I’m much more likely to make changes. I appreciate that and feel taken care of. Diabetes is not black and white and he’s one of the few doctors I’ve encountered who truly gets that. 100% best in the city!

My primary care doc sent a referral, they kept saying they didn’t receive it, and finally after a month they scheduled me. I had to drive to the office twice and ask why my referral wasn’t received. I’ve now been waiting 3 months for my endocrinology appointment. Today I received a voicemail the day before my appointment telling me they’re cancelling my appointment they don’t handle the issue on my referral and they don’t take my insurance. So why accept my referral and schedule me? Why have me wait 3 months and cancel my appointment the day before? They don’t prioritize their patients and they are very unprofessional.

They do not take new patients without a physician referral. I asked about sending blood work and health history to schedule with an endocrinologist, and they said that they do not accept patients that way. My insurance does not require referrals, and I already have the labs. I was hoping that I could send the information and not wait months for a primary care doctors referral here, but they don't do that. I am seen at the VA, which is a joke, and I was hoping to find a good doctor in the community with my health insurance.

dr Ly wasn't sure that after reading the horrible bloodwork I needed meds for hypothyroidsm! Finally diagnozed and treated! I told him I check all the boxes for it. Gained over 100 pounds over 1 year lost a lot of my hair, my face puffed up, my joint hurts i developed neuropathy in my feet. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO BALANCE OUR MY THYROIDS AND LOOSING A LOT OF WEIGHT IN YHE PROCESS!
