Very frustrating experience with the staff and overall patient care. I’ve repeatedly had difficulty getting anyone to answer the phone, and there have been multiple occasions where I’ve been left waiting for long periods of time (common wait time over 30 minutes) or the call has simply been hung up on. What makes this especially frustrating is that when I’m physically at the office, the staff is sitting around watching TV or on their phones while patients are waiting for assistance.

I’ve also been disappointed with my interactions with the doctors. My experience has been that there is a strong focus on promoting Ozempic at appointments, even when it doesn’t seem relevant to my individual healthcare needs. It can make the visits feel more focused on selling a medication than actually listening to and addressing the patient’s concerns.

Patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and taken care of not like they’re an interruption or a sales opportunity. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and improves both its communication and patient experience.

Far from great, this practice is the worst ever. I went there as a new patient, and I sat there in the waiting area to be called back for over an hour & half. Then, when I finally seen the nurse practitioner she quickly zoom through my visit. Then called in some my RX's while other they never called in. No refills to follow. They call my Rx into 2 different places.
They pick up the phone at the office when u call in and put u on hold and never come back to the phone. They left me on hold and left the office for the day. If they answer the phone they instantly put u on hold or either let the phone ring pick it up and instantly hang it up on u.
They offered to give a shot in my leg but never touched my knee to see what a where the psin was, jus to get that charge. Ive been waiting 6weeks for them to do a pre-authoriztion and still no results. If u r that busy STOP accepting new patients. Ladies at the front are NOT the friendliest or warm welcoming. They have are short, have attitude, with no personality unless u r their nationality. I will def b looking for a new family Dr.

1st off Dr. Perez is GREAT! But same as all the reviews, its a struggle to communicate with staff to get medications refilled or prescriptions corrected, or renewed. Ive been calling, leaving messages and still Im going days without insulin, lisinopril, and a glucose sensors.

The reception really don't do there job on the phone. You can tell they pick up and put you on hold. Unfortunately this is the closed one to my house and the Doctor is great his reception are the worst. It will take you all day to try to book an appointment or to talk to anyone. I read the reviews and had to chime in. I've been a patient for many years and my last 2 visits I didn't see Dr. Perez but was introduced to Dr. Suarez, who was very thoughtful and listened thoroughly. I assume Dr. Perez is phasing out for retirement and it's well deserved, though my sister and I will miss him. The office staff is almost Bi-polar in friendliness but we have always been well treated, they are hard working and yes sometimes directions get lost in the mix, my MRI referral had to be reminded from my last appointment. I have had those same issues with every doctors office in my 70 years.
I consider my relationship with my doctor as a partnership since we are working together to keep me healthy and the doc only knows what I can tell them or is visible. I need a good primary care doctor, not looking for a psychiatrist here.

This clinic uses to be great but has lowered in the last couple of years. I am only giving a 2 star review to the staff that care for their patients. I have been calling all week to get a medication refill for my father's medication but either the line keeps ringing or they put you on hold without answering. I had to go in Tuesday to see if someone could help me just for me to find the staff on their cellphones which is frustrating to see. I was told they would take care of it but to this day nothing has been sent. I am hoping this can be fixed with the staffing as my father has been coming here for years and had always treated him well.

Mi mamá es paciente paciente de el Dr. Perez de varios años. Los trabajadores que tiene ahorita son uno de los más amables y paciente que han tenido que toman tiempo con los pacientes. Tenía un problema con la farmacia de mi mamá y Kati tomó el tiempo hablar con la farmacia para resolver el problema para que mi mamá tenga su medicina. hace 10 años soy paciente del doctor mark pero ya no se puede venir a este lugar ,tenia mi apoinment para las 3pm pero tuve que irme sin ver al medico, me tuvieron más de 1 hora esperando e incluso estaban pasando a las personas con turnos para las 3:45 pm cuando le pregunte a las señora de la recepción me dijo que es que estaban atrasados ,pero si estas atrasados deberían seguir el orden de citas por horario . Nada este lugar se está convirtiendo en un muy mal lugar para atenderse con un medico

Ten years ago, I was a patient of Dr. Mark, but you can no longer come to this place, I had my apoinment for 3pm, but I had to leave without seeing the doctor, they had more than an hour waiting for me, and they were even passing people with shifts for 3:45 pm when I asked the reception lady, she told me that they were late, but if these late ones should follow the order of appointments by schedule. Nothing, this place is becoming a very bad place to attend to a doctor.

Es una pena que tanto el Dr. Pérez como el resto de su equipo médico que tan buenos considero son, tengan tan pésimo servicio en la recepción. Es mi médico primario hace años y hoy es mi última visita a este lugar. Pésimo trato al cliente, te hacen esperar horas y después te cancelan la cita, por 10 minutos tarde te cancelan la cita y cuando llegas a tiempo te ponen en espera al menos una hora y a veces más. Cuando necesitas cita las fechas siempre son de meses de espera. Pésima educación y trato en la recepción. Es una vergüenza y espero que este mensaje pueda llegar al Dr. Pérez pues además de hacerles perder pacientes fidelizados dañan su imagen y la reputación de un Dr. que creo es excelente. Es una lástima.

Arrived at scheduled appointment time. Was told I was supposed to be 30 minutes early. If I was supposed to be 30 minutes early why didn't they schedule me for 30 minutes earlier? Absolutely ridiculous. Confirmation text said nothing about arriving 30 minutes early either. Front desk told me 3 times that I should've been here earlier like I didn't hear her the first time and she was visibly irrated before I spoke to her. She kept insisting that we were informed when we made the appointment. Who is going to remember to show up 30 minutes early to an appointment they made more than a month ago and was only told once to show up a whole half hour early? Nobody. It should've been in a confirmation email and the confirmation text. Worst customer experience. I'll be taking my $300 elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. Booked 1st appointment with them. I was told I needed a 2nd appointment because every visit only covers one reason. I booked a 2nd appointment. When I showed up for my 1st appointment, the receptionist had canceled my 1st appointment without notice. Then she said it was me, called someone else and then they said "oh, you came in few minutes late for the check-in in", which wasn't true.

If you don't speak English and you are stuck with low class medical service, I may understand. Otherwise, go somewhere else where you can be treated professionally.

I have no complaints toward Dr. Mark Perez , but the staff is another thing . Rude beyond means . I was scheduled for an appointment at 11:30 . (this appt took me 2 months to get) I show up at 11:30 on the dot and they just say they are not seeing me … Ridiculous I understand if you are late you are late no arguing there but why schedule you at a time and expect you to be there at another . Once you do get seen it’s hours of waiting. If you can choose where to be seen do not go here !

Dr. Mark Perez is a very nice guy. However, at my third visit he stated the girls in the office will call me when the order is put through to Quest. No one ever called. After three weeks, I called the office and was told there was never an order from Dr. Mark Perez. I am very confused at your office staff. This has been other communication issues with your office staff and it reflects poorly on you Dr. Perez. Due to poor ethics, poor customer service and uncompassionate office staff, I won't be back.

I love the providers and the care they give me, but the office staff could improve. I've been noticing that their customer service is mediocre. When I call to schedule or I need to speak with an office member I don't even get greeted ... I automatically get put on hold. When I leave my phone number hoping for a call back. It never happens . The doctor is amazing! His office staff... Jesus Lord no!! Ever since the pandemic when his main office staff changed I am sad to say that I will be leaving to another doctor. It's the older lady with the blonde hair (new office manager) and the main office receptionist (short heavy set woman). They have to go! Completely incompetent. I’m disgusted by how the medical staff treat patients at this doctors office. Some of the doctors barely speak English and it’s hard to understand them. I never had an issue with that and was always respectful but one of them insulted me and actually told me I need to learn Spanish which was incredibly rude.
During that same visit, I came in for a rash that she misdiagnosed as eczema. She gave me a cream to treat it but it wasn’t going away so I saw a dermatologist who confirmed it was a fungus and required different medication.
They also gave me a physical which included a vision exam, but they told me there was nothing wrong with my vision, despite the fact that I was struggling to read the letters. I ended up seeing an eye doctor who confirmed I’m near-sighted and have astigmatism and prescribed me glasses.
And then another time I came to this location, I explained my physical symptoms to this doctor but she offered a referral to a psychiatrist. She was insinuating that it was all in my head and offered to prescribe me anxiety medication which I declined. The medication she was trying to give me, I’m not supposed to take with my current migraine medication anyway so that’s another red flag.
I guess it’s time to find a new doctor that’s actually competent and doesn’t insult their patients.

Was looking for a new primary care doctor, decided to give Dr. Perez a try after finding him through my insurance website. Called the number listed and was answered by a very rude and fast-speaking individual. He was being so rude and unwilling to provide reasonable customer service, that I had to hang up the phone and pursue a new doctor. It's a shame because his office is located within my neighborhood and that's always a plus. Hopefully the customer service improves for other customers.

Needing a new doctor in Vegas and reading the positive reviews I decided to give Dr. Perez a try. I went for a physical one year ago. His practitioner did the physical. Dr. Perez popped his head in, said looks like all is fine, and tried to leave, giving me no time. I had to pull him back in to ask questions I had about my health. He gave me a diabetes medication to assist with weight loss when I don't have diabetes. Follow-ups for a prescription renewal that I did go on were all with the practitioner until I asked for him. They were also quick 10 minute check-ins that I and my insurance was charged full price for. I finally had an appointment in January that he came in, listened and seemed helpful. The pandemic hit and I have tried to call and schedule an appointment three times with no return call, over a 7-week period. I even got hung up on with no answer once. I had a great doctor in Cali that followed-up and cared for his patients. That is what I want here in Vegas. My impression is Dr. Perez is stretched thin and new patients won't get the investment that others do. I didn't. I am now giving a new doctor a try, and so far he hasn't tried to pass me off to someone else.
