I had taken my adult son here for a broken and infected tooth to be extracted and his insurance is Medicaid. They proceeded to give him a 17,400.00 bill. They wouldn't clean his teeth because that wasn't covered by Medicaid for a deep cleaning . They wanted to remove bone and do a bone graft and all kinds of different things costing so much money. When they knew he had Medicaid it made no sense. So they never gave him an antibiotic. Or pulled the tooth. Which they should have done that in the least. We ended up in Summerlin at Dr Glymans office which is an oral surgeon in a beautiful office and a wonderful staff and they welcomed him seriously with open arms. He was then treated at Southern Hills Hospital for three wisdom teeth and the infected broken tooth plus antibiotics right away. Dr Glyman is Amazing and does his detailed work in the hospital 🏥 all covered by Medicaid. So if you have Medicaid don't bother coming here . In the least they should have sent him home with antibiotics !!!!

I’ve been coming to this clinic for about a year now and I am currently pregnant. They are pretty good about giving me breaks and being gentle. They also have payment plans for sedation and treatment which I thought was nice. The two ladies who are normally at the front are really nice. And it is close to my home which is a bonus. Hi this is “Jocelyn” a Mexican American transgender man who. Just been back since the procedure on four wisdom teeth’s. And let me just start by saying just. How caring slash loving the staff is to their patience. I’m autistic and have anxiety even with it being my first iv drip in life. The whole thing went as smoothly as possible. Let me start by saying how much I love the places gender neutralized bathrooms. Again not everyone is as gender unique as myself. But you all made me feel safe just with that alone again. I heavily apologize for how sorta dramatic I was being at first. This was actually my first ever iv experience. Not going to lie I did feel it all in its entirety. But that was on myself for not sleeping the whole way through. It kinda sucked but it was on me. Right now I’m staying downstairs and taking it easy from now on. And yes being deadnamed did suck. But what could I expect with. This conflicting political climate that we’re in am I right🤷🏻?. Other than that though it was. An overall 4 out of 5 star experience!. What I would like to suggest is a way to be more of a safe heaven where any gender diverse individual could get any dental works done no judgements. Again this isn’t a must do because I get it. I’m an error in the governmental system for right now. But it’ll be a blessing to at least try to. Be more open minded. Like if you have a chosen name that isn’t your legal one. Just add it onto the paperwork with a slash in the middle. Or even just a simple could you please not use my deadname?. My true name is so on and so forth but. Other than that the fact that. All of the staff is super accommodating towards people like myself who. Are on the spectrum and deal with anxiety helps out a lot. I’ll definitely recommend you to anyone I know for sure. As a first time client coming to this office recommend by one of my brothers, I will say that my experience with this office/stuff was amazing! From the font desk, the young girl doing x-rays (ruby) being very gentle, Daniel (receptionist) going out of there way to take well care of you extremely kind and polite, the doctor taking his time to answer my questions and checking my teeth! And the office manager- staying after hours to answer all my questions and taking her time and being very respectful made my visit here very rewarding! It’s a waste of my time. Dentist refuse to do basic cleaning for me even though insurance covers it. They want to make me do self pay for a deep clean at $250. They did the X ray and told me I need to do crown. Did not even show me the pictures of the x ray. It would cost $4,000+. I feel that they just want to claim from the insurance company for the X ray and then made the patients self pay by upselling with all the dental works which patient might not even need in the first place or at least not convinced or felt uncomfortable with. I am not sure if this is morally right to reject the basic cleaning that I am there for and deserved. I felt they wasted my time entirely. First they took me in, did the x rays and checks - claim from my insurance for this. and without even doing a basic cleaning for me which is what I needed and there for. To be honest, the x rays and checks is redundant for me. I felt them upselling strongly which made me very uncomfortable. Please tell me if this is ethical to refuse basic cleaning when patient refuse to pay for the upsell of a deep clean. It makes me feel they did not want to do any real job but made patients go there just for the x rays checks.

I have to leave a review specifically for Jay at the front desk at Boca Dental because she truly made my entire experience so much better. I am extremely nervous about going to the dentist, and when I first came in my mouth was in pretty bad shape, so I was already anxious and embarrassed. From the moment I spoke with Jay, she made me feel completely at ease.
She was kind, patient, and genuinely supportive throughout the whole process. Usually when it comes to discussing finances at dental offices, people can come across a little cold or rushed, but that was not my experience with Jay at all. She explained everything clearly and treated me with so much respect and understanding.
After my first appointment I had a few issues and had to call the office multiple times, and every time Jay answers the phone she actually remembers who I am. That might seem like a small thing, but it means a lot and makes me feel comfortable reaching out when I need help.
Yes, the work on my tooth was a little costly and I’m sure I could have found somewhere cheaper, but honestly Jay’s customer service alone makes me want to continue coming here. She represents the office so well.

Screaming from the roof top about Jay and Daniel. I absolutely have the worst fear when it comes to going to the dentist office upon arriving Jay greeted me with a pleasant smile. She wasn’t upset because I didn’t have my paperwork filled out yet and she was very patient and helpful then when I went to the back of the room we had the most wonderful young man named Daniel that did my x-rays and talked with me and he was just a very pleasant young man. I’ve never went to the dentist office before and has such a great Experience then to top it off when it was time for me to go Jay offered me options. Usually, you don’t get offered options. I was crying in the beginning because I know it was just going to be a whole lot of money. Well, Jay worked it out where I was able to pay a small deposit and small payment plans over the next 12 months and I get to come in three weeks to get my tooth extracted and get a partial and upgraded partial thank you, Jay thank you Daniel thank you doctor thank you guys for making this a pleasurable experience even though going to the dentist has always been the worst experience for me if you guys are looking for a dentist office I strongly strongly suggest to go to BOCA dental they are absolutely the best especially the one at 6680 West Flamingo Rd. come and see Miss Jay so she can have you smiling pretty again thank you Miss Jay for all of your help

Dentist did an amazing job extracting my tooth. It was stubborn and took a long time, but we presevered and I appreciate his patience with the stubborn tooth. My only complaint is that their oral surgeon is only in once a month and it is an inconvenience for those who are in need of oral surgery bc they are fully booked. Dentist I saw in March told me she wouldn’t pull 2 of my teeth unless I got a bone graft & sinus lift & membrane or whatever. It would’ve been minimum $1000 if I remember correctly? I was in excruciating pain. Couldn’t afford $1000. Lifted with teeth rotting out of my mouth until August- I got 7 teeth pulled and it was $600. Did not get a sinus lift nor bone graft because those are setting up an implant which I made clear I could not afford. 5 months of agony because a dentist wanted to make a quick buck! Sorry I wasn’t able to add a few thousand more onto your paycheck. I did not get a sinus lift or bone graft at my surgeon and my sinus has not collapsed btw. Here are photos of my teeth before I got them pulled so you see what they let me walk out with without guilt!

I couldn't afford the 4k crowns they were proposing and they refused to pull it without a bone graph. I've never had a dentist require me to do a bone graph when pulling a tooth. I have never experienced another dentist treat my teeth and mouth so gently yet so fast. I hate going to the dentist just like I’m sure everyone else does. So I had some anxiety before going in. But Dr. Lam took the time to walk me through the steps patiently until I was comfortable and understood what was going to happen every step of the way. Before I knew it, we were done and I even had the time to go run my other errands before I had to go back to work.

She also took the time to connect with me and no other dentist has done that before. I actually followed her from another office and this was my third visit. I’m sure she sees many many different patients but she was able to remember all the things I told her about me the first time we met and talked. I thought that was very nice of her.

Nick and Ibeth, the dental assistants, were both so personable and knew what they were doing. They made me feel very comfortable. Jazmin at the front desk is very welcoming and has such a warm personality. She explained the pricing very thoroughly and made sure I understood everything and consented to it all. Definitely referring everyone I know to come here and see Dr. Lam.

i scheduled a cleaning and when i got here was told my appointment was for something else

editing to add: after my appointment i called my insurance provider, who called the office on my behalf. the office told my provider i made a "false review" and that they were dismissing me as a patient. ive filed a grievance and it will be investigated, and i will meet with the office manager tomorrow. of course they claim the phone lines are not recorded so i would advise anyone record their calls themselves. they are dishonest and lie about people. this is so extremely unprofessional i almost cant believe it.

4 days after dismissing me as a patient they scheduled an appointment without my consent. These are very blatant scammers. Thankfully my insurance recorded the call when they lied about my review and dismissed me, so they are backing themselves into a corner.

Wow! I've had the worst case of dental anxiety since a wisdom tooth impaction surgery gone wrong back in 2004. I have been terrified to visit dentists and only used to go when it was an extreme emergency. I was referred to Boca Dental and Braces by a neighbor who knew how bad my dentist anxiety was and highly recommended them. I was so impressed by the Boca Dental team. They're nice but the thing is you didn't get informed all the things you need to know. I got scammed. I was so excited,I thought after I got the invisalign everything will be fine.I was misinformed because my only issue on my teeth(i have one missing tooth on my left side upper teeth) and don't actually have a major issue I just want my teeth in the front to be aligned on the rest of my teeth. They scanned my teeth,after they made a space between some of my tooth and I've been told it's necessary to make a space to gradually straighten my teeth once I wore the invisalign. I waited for how many months but I felt like nothing was changing. I told them about that but they kept telling me it took time. How many months have passed and it went all the way to the final staged that my invisalign almost finished when they told me I needed to get a tooth implant or dental bridge to make everything aligned. I told them why they didn't tell me on the first place that I needed those before I went all the way to get the invisalign and wasted all my time for they're mistakes. I wasted money for nothing and my time. On top of that, it made my teeth even worse because everytime I ate, the food I ate always get stocked now between my teeth because of all the space they made to my teeth. Now I always need to have dental floss on my pocket so every time I eat outside I need to clean it right away. It makes my life miserable, I don't have those problems before. I asked for my refund to all the time they took away from me but nothing happened. Don't come here!!!They just want your money!!!!

I showed up with a bad infection in my upper jaw. They were able to see me right away!
The first person I spoke to was Liza, she was awesome patient understanding and very informative. When I showed up at the office, I was greeted by her and her office manager Jazmin Both of whom were extremely friendly and helpful. Once I was taken in the back the dental assistant Zanaja Patiently and gently took my x-rays of my infected jaw. Then I got to see Doctor Yanga, She took her time to look over all the problems that I was encountering in my mouth and explained all the things that would need to be done to help take care of me. This place is very unprofessional. They made an appointment for me, then the next day I was receiving threats via text and voicemail saying that if I didn't contact them to reschedule the appointment, I would be hit with no-show fees. So they made an appointment that shouldn't have been made in the first place, and instead of just owning up to it, they threaten me with fees. Talk about zero accountability for their mistakes. I'm not going to entrust my dental care to practice that blames the patient for their errors.
