Peter Bregman and the law firm, Heaton and Associates, have threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn't remove my previous review regarding my medical experience with him. Hence, it is removed; albeit, my words were honest.
I do plan to get the advice of a lawyer in regards to the legalities of their demand. In my opinion, this violates the NRS statue 449A.112, as well as the laws involved with my medical bankruptcy. But what do I know? I'm just a 70 year old math teacher for the last 42 years.
Bregman says he doesn't resort to "intimidation tactics" as stated in the written threat of lawsuit that I was emailed. Yet, this is precisely what he is doing to silence my voice.

Had my follow up appointment with Dr Bregman and again an amazing visit. He thoroughly discussed the MRI findings with me. Earlier in the year I had sworn off any shots in my feet after the last podiatrist I saw causes me so much pain and even put a shot in the wrong place and had to redo it. However, Dr. Bregman promised me the shot would be painless or almost painless. I listened to what he said and agreed to the shot. As promised, as he gave me the shot in the top of my foot, the only pain I felt was minor and it only occurred within the last five seconds or so of the shot. Dr. Bregman is absolutely amazing. I am so blessed that I found him. And his staff people are nice and kind and considerate. I wish every doctors office was run the same way as he runs his. I started experiencing pain in both of my small toes at the beginning of this year. It got progressively worse so I made an appointment with Dr. Bregman. He diagnosed me with Fat Pad Atrophy. He gave me several treatment options and I opted for a shortening osteotomy. I'm glad I did. The preop, scheduling and procedure itself went smoothly. It's been 5 weeks since the surgery and the pain level has been reduced approx. 80%. I'm still in the healing stage so reduction in pain will in all likelihood be even better in the coming months.

Best foot place ever! I was treated for plantar fasciitis and tarsal tunnel syndrome, after visiting two other doctors previously (who couldn't figure out how to help me). If I had only gone to Dr. Bregman first, I would have saved myself months and months of pain and frustration. I was helped with huge success from the shockwave therapy treatments (for the plantar fasciitis) as well as the hydro-dissection treatments (for the tarsal tunnel). I was being treated for a diabetic ulcer on my right foot for over a year by another podiatrist. It got to the point where it just wasn't healing, and he talked about amputation. I was totally devastated and didn't know what to do. Then a friend recommended Dr. Bregman. On my first visit, Dr. Bregman said he would have it cleared up in about 6 weeks. He recognized that I needed to correct what was causing the ulcer in the first place. Fast forward 6 weeks after bunion surgery, and the ulcer was healed. I am now 2 years post surgery, and I've had no recurrence of the ulcer or the bunion. I am back to walking my dog and wearing regular shoes again. This kind of care is rare. It is evident that Dr. Bregman is very knowledgeable in this field and I felt very taken care of. I used to believe in only strengthening the foot and using barefoot shoes. But in some cases that's not enough. Although those measures are helpful for some people, there is also a place for "conservative surgery," which is exactly what I felt Dr. Bregman gave me.

I had a consult via video chat prior to my trip. I flew in on Wednesday - had my pre-op appt on Thursday and my surgery was on Friday. Going home - I took advantage of the wheel chair accommodation at the airport from check-in to the gate, but was able to walk just fine to board the plane and de board with my walking boot. His office is very nice and very easy to find. The surgery center is also very nice and staff made me feel very comfortable before I took my mommy nap.

I pray more MN sufferers feel the call to use Dr. B to help them move forward with care and finally feel the relief they are looking for. And If you are unsure... take it from an anti-surgery person who was desperate for recovery. I prayed everyday for God to show me the way and on numerous occasions I felt the pull to make this travel to Las Vegas. I opted for the minimally invasive procedure after months of research and consultations with other doctors. This surgery was ideal for me because I could walk in a boot just four days after the procedure, unlike other doctors who advised a three-month recovery period, which wasn’t ideal for me. Shortly after healing from my first bunion surgery, I scheduled my second surgery for my right foot in August 2024. This time, I opted for the scarf surgery, which was slightly different but healed just as well as my first foot. I’ve healed perfectly from both of my surgeries without any issues. After over 30 doctors over 4 years, Dr. Peter Bregman was the first doctor to give me a real and correct diagnosis. Multiple foot doctors and surgeons quickly blew me off and told me I had planter fasciitis, which I wasted 2 years and a lot of money on doing every single treatment including PT. He was so great in our tele visit I flew from Chicago to Vegas to see him. I really appreciate that Dr. Bregman actually reads your history and test results vs. asking you to go through all the details. He comes prepared to the appointment with recommendations and next steps and he prioritizes them for you. Spent two hours and 20 minutes , 5 minutes with doctor 40 minutes for them looking for my exrays they told me to get at adesert radiology. I am a current patient of Dr. Bregman. I was referred to Dr. Bregman by another provider. I have bunions on both feet that have been giving me pain off and on for at least 15 years now. I met with Dr. Bregman and we came up with a plan to have surgery on my right foot first, which was had about 6 months ago. My surgery was perfect! My pain was tolerable and the healing process went well. Fast forward to now I just had surgery on my left foot about a month ago and again the healing process is going well. No complications and my feet look like twins!!! I’m am so thankful for Dr. Bregman and his staff! They have made my recovery/healing process so easy and I haven’t had any worries about anything!

I had something serious going on, I was limping and I could not get a real diagnosis from a different podiatrist. Dr. Bregman glued an arch support to my foot (sort of like an experiment), and I did not think it would work because I had tried all sorts of arch supports from the store. Dr. Bregman has given me my life back. I had one neuroma in my left foot, and two neuromas plus bursitis in my right. I was in constant pain, could barely walk, and couldn't do my job. Even though I live in Virginia, I decided to travel to Las Vegas to have Dr. Bregman perform open decompression surgery on both of my feet. I drove from Orange County, CA to have Morton's Neuroma decompression surgery with Dr. Bregman. Local Drs only wanted to do a neurectomy or possibly a laparoscopic decompression. After hearing about open decompression, the logic made the most sense to me and Dr. Bregman seemed to be the best to perform this procedure. There were some minor issues around getting my prescriptions and then the hospital messed up my surgery time and called me wondering where I was when I was given a later time to arrive than they claimed and I was out trying to get my prescriptions. So at that point I was a bit concerned and wondering if I made the right choice. I also had pain a little longer after surgery than I was expecting, but around the 4 month mark post surgery, everything started turning around. I'm now 7 months post surgery and feeling great overall. I'm riding horses and running, so far up to 8 miles. These were some of the main activities I couldn't do prior to surgery and wanted to get back to. I'd recommend Dr. Bregman to anyone with Morton's Neuroma. I regret getting cortisone shots and wish I would have found Dr. Bregman sooner as I'm convinced a lot of the reason it took longer to recover was the additional damage done by the cortisone shots. I am also a podiatrist, practicing in California. I have known Dr Bregman professionally for 5 years or so, and have sent my patients to him for specifically nerve decompression surgery. These patients have uniformly done well. So when I developed worsening of a nerve entrapment in my OWN foot, I did not hesitate to call on Dr Bregman to fix the issue.
To make a careful diagnosis, he did a series of injections to pinpoint the 3 different areas of nerve entrapment in my right foot and leg. I am 30 days post op and could not be happier. The “blowtorch” pain on the top of my foot and “ice pick” pain at the ankle and knee are gone, and have been since post op day 10. I am walking normally already, but am following my colleague’s advice about doing cold laser therapy, massage, stretch and gradual return to exercise.
I am happy to have a foot and ankle surgeon to whom I can refer my nerve entrapment patients. Strangely, there is no one really in my area of southern CA who does this type and caliber of work.

I have been having ongoing foot and ankle pain for a year. Dr. Bregman is the 3rd doctor I have seen. In 1 visit he says “I believe you have tarsal tunnel syndrome, let’s get you tested for that” and sure enough, that is what it was! After 7 months of terrible and debilitating pain in my left lower leg, Dr. Bregman quickly diagnosed it and came up with a treatment plan. There were nerves being compressed he deduced after two appointments with injections and ultrasounds. It resulted in surgery which I had yesterday and am beyond impressed.

The entire staff at the surgery center was warm, welcoming and caring (from pre-op to post-op). Julia, my pre-op and post-op nurse was just wonderful! Dr. Bregman came by and answered any questions I had prior to surgery. He was calm and it made me less anxious. When I went into the OR, he had music playing. It was such a good vibe! I’ve never had that before and this was my 18th surgery.

Dr. Bregman’s staff at Foot-Ankle Nerve Center is really great too!! From the front desk, medical assistant and Manny, the surgery scheduler- they are all wonderful! But, Dr. Bregman impressed me at first sight, lol!! He was knowledgeable, highly educated, thorough, calm and patient and I felt like I was in wonderful hands. He was the 4th doctor I had seen for my leg pain and I came in frustrated. He immediately put me at ease, concentrated on my symptoms and thoroughly evaluated me. We talked about current events too! His bedside manner is what you would hope for.

My daughter was referred to a podiatrist specifically for a condition that her pediatrician could no longer continue treating. Over the phone there was mention of non covered services, however I noted specifically the recommendation that my daughter's pediatrician had referred us for and what she was currently being treated with. Upon being taken back, the Drs assistant spoke with my husband and daughter briefly regarding her concerns, snapped a photo to "show" the Dr and returned to present a course of treatment for only the non covered service, which involved a laser treatment , cost $80 a session and may take 8-9 sessions. This service would be expected on top of our normal office visit as well of $40 + the credit card processing fee. This was about the time my husband called me and I immediately asked why the Dr was not in the room and who was explaining all this?! I let them know it was rather unethical to only present the "non covered" treatment and pass it off as the only option, further how unprofessional it was that the Dr couldn't be bothered to complete the exam in person prior to coming up with this course of treatment. Dr Bregman did finally come into the room, at which time he did review concerns and present and alternative option which would be considered with our insurance, however this option was substantially less effective than what our pediatrician has been doing and about the same as what we were completing with our home treatments. It was a rather disappointing visit since we thought a specialist would provide a more wide range of treatment options, but it has provided a lesson for us to ask more detailed questions at our next office! The experience has also been relayed to our pediatrician, which not surprising, she has received less than stellar feedback about this office as of recent and they will not be sending anymore referrals. (Update - in reference to his addition of suggesting that I am lying regarding speaking to my providers office. I spoke with their referral coordinator, we have had conversations both on the phone and through email, and have since given her a name of a new podiatrist to whom she can refer their pediatric patients to, which she stated she will begin using!)

Dr. Bregman is very thorough and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain, in detail, my diagnosis of tarsal tunnel as well as the subsequent treatment. We began with the conservative route being rest, moved onto orthotics, and when those didn’t fully eliminate the issue, he offered a hydrodissection. I appreciated his willingness to offer the latest technology in order to do everything possible to avoid surgery. Dr. Bregman also went above and beyond, advocating on my behalf by discussing the procedure and my particular needs with my insurance company (who originally denied coverage) in an attempt to get the procedure covered. I have decided to proceed with the hydrodissection on a cash basis because I trust Dr. Bergman’s knowledge and skill set. I traveled from California for nerve decompression surgery 6 weeks ago and I am so happy and excited with the results. I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Bregman and I cannot overstate how impressed I was with his exceptional knowledge, skill, and thoroughness. From the moment I met him (which was actually online in a support group) I knew I was in capable hands. He actually first helped set me up with a surgeon that was closer to me when I was living in a different state--he did this without asking for anything in return; and does this often for the people in my support group just so they can get proper care. I sprained my ankle in Sept 2022 and after about a year I realized something was wrong because my “ankle sprain” had not healed at all. I saw at least 7 different docs and after almost a year of being unable to walk, in constant pain, and off and on crutches for a year, I was finally diagnosed with peroneal tendon subluxation. I live on the East Coast and after much deliberation I flew to Las Vegas a few times and finally a third to have Dr Bregman do the surgery. Within 3 weeks I was doing PT and by week 5 I was starting to walk and things have been healing beautifully.

I was unable to walk for a year and a half. All the other doctors wrote it off and said go home and do more PT, and meanwhile my tendon became more damaged each month from the advice of these doctors. Should I need any other foot surgeries of any kind I will only see Dr. Bregman. My trust in doctors was destroyed from so many months of being in pain until I met him. He not only cares about you, but is also medically extremely careful and precise. His staff are wonderful as well and make you feel very comfortable. I am so grateful to Dr. Bregman.

Just received my foot boot after 8 weeks of non weight bearing. This being my 3rd foot surgery, 2nd on the same foot by 3 different surgeons. After experiencing surgery and post surgery recovery from all 3 there is no comparison between Dr. Bregman and the others. Post surgery with Dr. Bregman required nothing much from me for care of my foot except to be patient and keep it 100% from injury. The other surgeons required me to manually care for my foot including replacing the bandages and applying medications. I moved about 3K miles across country specifically to be under the care of Dr. Bregman for surgery with my only regret being that Dr. Bregman was not my first surgeon.

Then he sent me for an MRI it cost $565 and it they found nothing. So i wen⁹t for a manicure and they found it so I went to a dermatologist he saw it right away. I paid $200 problem solved. After dealing with Plantar warts for over a decade on both feet and trying a numerous different treatments with many different providers, Dr. Bregman and his office found a treatment that worked for me! It took quite a bit of persistence from me and then, but after all of it, being able to walk without pain is such a huge quality of life improvement. I have seen Dr. Bregman for the past 8 years. I played sports at the highest levels my whole life and had a number of foot and ankle issues on an ongoing basis as a result. Dr. Bregman has performed miracle after miracle. For example, my big toe was broken repeatedly and had to be operated on 7 times. As a result, the cartilage was virtually non existent. Dr. Bregman used the most cutting edge technology and strategies to treat the issue. I now have a totally normal toe and lifestyle, as a result. Dr. Bregman and his staff are wonderful! Dr. Bregman is very knowledgeable, he was compassionate towards my situation: an unhealed broken fifth metatarsal. Dr. Bregman was able to surgically repair with hardware (after 7 months of being broken!) and moved a nerve during surgery which completely reduced my pain! There's a reason Dr Bregman has been voted top foot doctor for the last 4 years in a row. I just had my foot surgery two weeks ago and from start to finish, from initial consultation to post op, I have always felt secure and confident I was in the best of hands. Dr Bregman is experienced and knowledgeable and has a great personality and he also has the best staff in the business. Manny filled out my FMLA paperwork and it was approved quickly and without a hitch. The staff are always welcoming and caring. I always feel at ease and happy after visiting his office. I know my journey with them is almost over ( in two weeks) and I know I will miss them. I almost wish it wasn't over so soon.

I was seeing another podiatrist for about a year, and he kept misdiagnosing my foot issue and recommended stretching exercises or rolling my foot on a ball. He claimed I had plantar fasciitis. After months of me insisting something else was wrong, he finally ordered an MRI and sure enough,
I had a growth in my foot about the size of a walnut, that was causing me pain and atrophy of the toe muscles. That doctor didn't seem confident that he could do the surgery and he tried to convince me to just "live with the pain", and that it wasn't anything too serious. Then Covid happened and I had to postpone surgery and it was a blessing in disguise as I was then referred to Dr Bregman by my new PCP. At our initial consultation he did an ultrasound of my foot and instantly saw the problem and gave a possible diagnosis of a schwannoma. He was correct.

I was so nervous because of the amount of stories I read about the injection and the process of the procedure, but Dr. Bregman and his staff helped calm the nerves down. Contacted Dr. Bregman office after an Achilles heel incident. Dr. Bregman has been incredible from beginning to end. I'm currently in post-surgery process. Since Day, very professional and thoroughly detailed with my situation. This has been an effortless process thus far. Discussed the details of the x-ray, the actual break, and the procedure needed and what to expect. He has been dead on. The facilities they used has been A-1 with the follow ups. All facilities are cleaned, and staffs are professional and friendly. They make any fears absence of mind. Dr. Bregman and staff are beyond amazing--I sought his assistance for a failed tarsal tunnel decompression surgery from out of state. Dr. Bregman is professional and knowledgeable and answers all questions thoroughly--even going above and beyond to answer questions through email. His bedside manner is wonderful; I always felt that he had my best interests at heart and would work to the best of his ability to help improve my quality of life in any way he could. I originally went to Dr Bregman for a bone spur. During that appointment we talked about my medical history and the fact that I had restless leg syndrome for more years than I can remember. After an evaluation, Dr Bregman let me know there was a procedure that might help.

Today I had my second nerve decompression surgery to help alleviate my restless leg syndrome. I am so pleased with the results of the decompression on my right leg that the left was done today. Hopefully this will be as successful as the first and the restless leg will be under control.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Bregman and his staff. The staff was so helpful and prompt with getting back to me with answers to my questions via text-which for me is the easiest.

Dr. Bergman and his team are amazing. The moment I walked in the door he knew what was the issue with my feet. His team helped me to get scheduled and walked me through the process. On the day of the surgery, everything was easy and Dr. Bergman made sure I was ready. Such a great office and doctor and the wait times are short. Dr. Bregman is incredible. He’s a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. The entire staff is wonderful.

I had an infection that turned out being a nightmare for me! Dr Bregman was extremely helpful during the whole process. I was personally in contact with him via texts and emails to ensure the infection was taken care of. He was available to help even during Thanksgiving, this is incredible. I ended up needed to have a second injury to clean the infection as my foot was not getting better. He booked me for surgery last minute and squeezed me in between patients. I am thankful for him. This second surgery was a big set back for me, but he made sure the experience was as positive as possible.

I am still healing and the process is not done, but I trust that things will improve and get better. No one could have predicted this infection. But what is really valuable and extraordinary, is the time and care I am getting from Dr. Bregman. He answered my questions via texts and emails when I was in pain and concerned, and checked on me during the whole process.

I am a very active person and cannot wait to start moving again!

I've had problems with my feet for 20+ years. In the past I've seen at least 6 different podiatrist and received 5 different diagnosis. Earlier this year I had a podiatrist want to remove a nerve in my foot. I agreed. I also had joined a Facebook group to see what others were saying about their morton's neuroma diagnosis. While waiting to have my surgery I posted on the Facebook group that I was about to have surgery and that's when I met Dr Bregman. He explained to me why I shouldn't have the nerve removed. I quickly changed my consent to surgery. Needless to say it was a failed decompression surgery. I then decided to travel 2100+ miles to be given a different diagnosis, TTS. I had surgery on my left foot then 7 weeks later went back and had my right foot done. I wish I could show pics on here. I never had any bruising, took Tylenol mainly, I was walking from day one and my incisions look beautiful. While I'm currently still recovering I can tell the difference already. I'm not completely healed but like he told me, you've had this for years and it's going to take time. I am so grateful for Dr Bregman and his staff is so professional, nice and accommodating. They really worked hard to get me everything I needed for insurance purposes. I highly recommend Dr Bregman and his staff.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Bregman! It is truly bizarre that a Doctor can behave this way and think he can get away with it! He acted annoyed that I had an appointment, he didn't want to come into the room to see me tried to let his nurse handle his business and when he did come in he addressed me with "what do I want"! Then his behavior was even more rude and absurd saying he had surgery to do and what do I want from him! It was beyond unprofessional it was just bizarre behavior! Two weeks ago Dr. Bregman performed nerve decompression surgery on a Morton’s Neuroma on my right foot. I had suffered with nerve pain and numbness for a long time.

The surgery went very well and I was told that I may have some nerve pain until my foot healed. From day one I have had no real pain. I have experienced some tingling as the nerves regenerate but no pain. At two weeks I am now walking in a comfy athletic shoe!

I believe that due to Dr. Bregman’s conservative approach and excellent care from him and his staff I am recovering quickly and with very little discomfort.

I have had quite a few surgeries on my feet over the last 20 years while living in California. When I moved back to Las Vegas I was looking for an experienced, trusted and innovative foot surgeon. I trust Dr. Bregman so much that I have referred two friends to him. He also treats my mother!

Overall my experience has been as good as you can have with foot surgery. I recommend Dr. Bregman and his knowledgeable, amazing staff to anyone seeking help with their foot or ankle issues.

I've waited a year after my surgery to write a review because you never know how things turn out. In my case, I had very flat feet and had the HyProCure ankle surgery.which has been fabulous. I was one of the rare people that needed a follow-up because of some tendon was over-stressed due to the fast physical changes (I'm old and overweight and been flat-footed all my life). Dr. Bregman is a knowledgeable and professional specialist. Though his intitial treatment plan has not helped, I was looking forward to working with him. This review about his office billing practices and customer service. I drove an hour to the appointment to be surprised with a four month old bill. I was told that the doctor would not see me until I pay the bill. The receptionist, who is new, was not able to explain the charges. She also could not explain why nobody informed me about the bill when I scheduled an appointment, or why their system does not send out notification emails (they are paperless company) when there is a communication from the office. Regardless, I will no longer be a patient of this doctor.

He has done surgery on both of my ankles and tarsal tunnel surgery on both of my feet.
He has done more for me than two other podiatrists have done. I have been through a hellish nightmare.
I was first diagnosed with flat feet by an athletic trainer in college. I received my first pair of orthotics in 2001.
In 2014, a new podiatrist came to Ridgecrest, California. Dr. Jamie Mieras had no idea what to do. Honestly, I went in for new orthotics. She never made me a pair. She thought it was my sesamoid bones. I did physical therapy. She put me in boots and a cast. She wanted me in a Darco shoe. She ordered 20 different x-rays of my sesamoid bones. I had an MRI done. She mixed up my x-rays with another patient’s. She injected me with Cortisone, but didn’t numb the area completely. She moved the needle down to an area that wasn’t numb. We finally decided that she was going to do surgery on my ankle and take a look at the sesamoid bones. The night before she canceled. She told me that she had another doctor look at my x-rays and MRI. That doctor said that she shouldn’t do the surgery. I explained how much pain that I was in. Also, the money that I spent. She offered me $30. Like that was going to help.
The only thing that she helped with was removing a toenail that had gotten a blood blister under it. I told her that I had gotten new orthotics from an orthopedic podiatrist in 2016. She told me that it was a good idea. That made me mad because she had dismissed it earlier. All she did was put padding on the pair that I had since 2001.
She was moving to Oregon. I tried again. This time she thought it was Achilles tendinitis. She wanted the new doctor to do surgery on my hammer toes.
Dr. George Rivello came to Ridgecrest. He is the only doctor to say that I have high arches, instead of flat feet. He cut a tendon in my toe that kept getting blisters instead of doing the hammer toe surgery. He went with Dr. Mieras on the Achilles tendinitis. In June of 2017, he did gastrocnemius recession surgery on my right leg. It lengthens the Achilles. Also, it was supposed to help my ankle. It didn’t help. The tendon cutting in my toe didn’t help either.
Dr. Bregman figured out what both of them weren’t able to. I had a surgery that I didn’t need to have done.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Bregman after reviewing the article in the MYVEGAS magazine.

I arrived about an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment just to make sure to be on time. I completed the online patient form relatively fast.

Liz was knowledgeable with a great personality. She made my appointment a very pleasant stay considering I haven't been to a doctor for many years.

Dr. Bregman was attentive, precise, and professional. He even guessed my weight right on target without a weight scale!

Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The most impressionable part was Dr. Bregman provided several options for my cure, instead of trying to advise on only one.

I flew from Montana to Las Vegas to have Dr. Bregman perform nerve decompression surgery for a Morton's Neuroma in my left foot because he came highly recommended and is a specialist in treating this issue. Where most surgeons want to cut out the nerve for this problem, Dr. Bregman offers a more conservative approach that "preserves the nerve." While it has only been one week since the surgery, so it's too early to comment on whether it was successful or not. However, I can say I'm extremely pleased at this point. The surgery itself went very well and I have had almost zero pain, even without pain medication. I was given clear pre and post operative instructions. Communication with Dr. Bregman throughout the entire process has been absolutely excellent. He is very accessible for questions and concerns. Despite the additional expenses associated with travel, I would want to see Dr. Bregman again for any serious foot problems because I have confidence that he knows his stuff!
