Office waiting room small. Receptionist was overly chatty and not dressed professionally. Smelled like someone didn't turn on the fan in the bathroom... first impression not great. Dr was nice staff was nice and professional. Dr referred me to an Endodontist for root canals a dentist from a pre filled paper which suggested he got a referral fee. I went to a different Endodontist with 40 years experience. He took his own xrays and examined my two teeth . His determination was NO root canals necessary.

I currently live in Manhattan New York City, and came all the way to Henderson to visit family who told me about this remarkable dentist. Dr Julian Alivia and his dental assistant Kylie have paid more attention to detail than any other dentist I have gone to, complete with a great sense of humor and patience. I love their choice of background music and their choice of TV shows to watch during your dental work. Before the implant, he made sure he gave me informed consent to help me decide to proceed with the surgery. You feel like an active participant in making medical treatment decisions. During the implant procedure I actually felt so relaxed and happy, I didn’t even feel him inject the local anesthetic at all! That is a first.
He created an individualized treatment plan for me, providing instructions on how to care for my teeth and gums and what to look out for. He is the BEST dentist I’ve ever had the privilege to work with!

My experience from submitting a new patient request form on their website, to receiving the initial call within the same day to confirm my appointment time within 2-business days, to being greeted by the staff onsite, and lastly to the gentle and tentative attention I received from the dental hygienist, Angela and Dr. Julian was absolutely amazing! Went in for my first consultation with Dr. Julian and he was wonderful! Good communication, thoughtful treatment plan and seems to really care about his patients. I had the best experience at Brilliant Smiles. Dr. Alivia provided excellent care during my procedure, he was very thorough, and made sure I’m comfortable. He is the best, I didn’t feel any pain at all🥰. His whole staff are awesome too, all very attentive, and friendly!

Dr. Alivia’s pre-treatment explanations and options were very thorough. Post treatment care were wonderful! He called and texted for follow-ups, and make sure that I’m feeling no pain, and progressing well with my recovery.

I have had a lot of work done over the last 40 years from tooth extractions root canals implants and bridges etc ( most from rugby lol) these guys ( new dentist/ management) really took care of me. If i was to rate compared to all others he is 10 out 10. Their pain management is second to none. I don't even feel the pick to inject the pain killer. ( never had that before). To give you some idea second to last time i was there (emergency) i had a re root canal and i was so comfortable i fell asleep in the chair lol. Cant thank you guys enough. Highly highly recommend these guys.

When my tooth started to hurt I decided to call here since its right by my house and they scheduled me at the earliest possible appointment, she even went out of her way to call me back to ask if I wanted to come in earlier because a spot opened up which I really appreciated because everyone knows when you have issues with your teeth you want to be seen ASAP. Since I was getting everything done I had multiple people work on my teeth and each one of them was wonderful in explaining everything that they were gonna do. I ended up needing a root canal and I was able to get an appointment the very next day. All the staff and doctor was super friendly and this is definitely gonna be my dentist from now on.

I’m glad that I was recommended by their dental assistant Jo to come to this place. I’d been to other dentistry but not as nice and friendly. Brilliant Smiles staffs are very hospitable and willing to help. Jo did an amazing job to make the patient comfortable before seeing the doctor. Dr. Avila is warm and always makes sure your ok and explains what needs to be done before the procedure. When I had an emergency situation, even though the clinic was closed, he showed up to help me. Ms. Penny also has been very helpful in the front if you have any questions.

I moved to the Henderson and had a hard time finding a dentist. Tried at least a couple of dental offices the first year but not one was acceptable. Believe me I am not a
"picky person" and I just wanted a dental office who respects my time, provide true service for my money, and will take good care of my teeth. Fortunately, my neighbor recommend Dr. Alivia and it has been nothing but pleasurable experience. Dr.
