I had such a wonderful experience with Brittany! I came in for a deep cleaning and, honestly, I was pretty anxious going into it because I’ve always had a lot of dental anxiety. Brittany immediately made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and reassuring throughout the entire appointment, and she took the time to explain what she was doing and check in with me along the way.

She did a thorough deep cleaning, including the scaling under my gums and laser treatment, and I could genuinely tell how much care she put into everything. My gums have always been an area I’ve struggled with, so I really appreciated how knowledgeable and attentive she was.

What stood out to me most was how much she cared about my comfort. I never felt judged or rushed, and for someone with dental anxiety, that made such a huge difference. I left feeling like I was actually taking a big step toward healthier gums and better oral health.

Brittany was absolutely amazing, and I’m so grateful I had her for my treatment. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has dental anxiety or is nervous about getting a deep cleaning. She made an experience I was really worried about feel so much easier!

I don't know how this place remains in business. Funny how they went from 3.6 to 4.6 star reviews almost overnight. Who are they paying from the money they're taking from you? Gross mismanagement.

Oh, and why would anyone care to call the number in Canyon Pointe's canned response when they can't even take care of business in their own office when patients are actually there?

A bit of patient advice: Check your insurance benefits statements. On three separate occasions, I was forced to pay for procedures, only to have my insurance pay for each one in full. I was told each time that if my insurance paid for the procedure, Canyon Pointe would return the money to me that I had paid on the date of service. However, that never happened until I brought to their attention each time. In other words, they were paid twice--once by me AND a second time by my insurance company. Had I not spoken up, they would have pocketed all that money. Again, this happened to me three times, months and months apart. CHECK YOUR INSURANCE STATEMENT, and compare it to what you paid in that office on that same date. If your insurance pays for the procedure, the dental office owes you a refund.

Cindy and Elizabeth were so kind and lovely to talk to as always! Dr. Shahrestani was also very nice and efficient through the whole process. I ended up needing a crown from cracking a tooth on a sour gummy bear😭 Their office was able to get me in the next day, with a crown in about 3 hours. It’s a couple days after and I'm very happy with the result. I definitely would recommend this place! The location is great and the staff are all amazing!

Absolutely loved my visit. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and accommodating. The Dr., Ancheta, himself came out to greet me in the waiting room and walked me in. I have to say that automatically made me feel I was in good hands. He was very kind and thorough in his delivery of his findings and proactive with how to proceed. The hygienist, Courtney, was so friendly yet professional. Made me feel at ease and was gentle.
My daughter, son and myself have not had good experiences with dentists. However, with my experience with the front office staff, Dr. Ancheta and dental hygienist I feel at ease with returning for my next cleaning. The front desk was absolutely amazing and so kind. Kenia, Liz, and Cindy all helped me on my visit. Everyone was incredibly diligent and patient throughout the whole process. That included paperwork and actually ensuring that my jaw was not damaged. They took the time to check I got all the scans I needed and the opportunity to ask questions. The front desk went above and beyond to get information and even caught an extra scan I needed! Amazing experience and the only thing I wish is that I had found this office sooner. I was scheduled to receive a cleaning today at a different price than what I was originally told when I walked in. While that is concerning, it’s not the main issue. The bigger problem is that I was given incorrect information during my first visit and exam—which, I might add, was a great experience.

However, today has significantly changed my opinion of this business. I was informed that there is a $100 rescheduling fee, which I find unreasonable, as that is nearly the same price I was originally quoted for the cleaning. I had planned to continue getting dental work done here as the service was amazing the first time. Also I should add the office previously rescheduled my appointment without charging me or informing me of such a policy. Finding out about this fee only today was quite annoying to say the least as I had been quoted a different price and not informed of the true price before setting up the appointment.

To say I have extreme dental anxiety is an understatement. I was literally prepared to have them knock me out to do a deep cleaning.

I had the left side of my mouth worked on on Friday and I have to admit I’m excited to go back and do the right side. Obviously, it’s not because I enjoyed every minute of it, but knowing my mouth is finally going to be healthy after all these years of avoiding the dentist, 100% due to the care at Dr. Sharastani‘s office, feels great.

They listened to me, never made me feel bad about my anxiety once, and set me up with the right blend of meds, where I literally slept through the whole thing. The few parts I do remember was the dental hygienist talking me through things and being very kind. I cannot recommend this dentist enough!

I wish I could give negative stars.

I scheduled a simple routine cleaning at Canyon Pointe Dental Group because I moved far away from my previous dentist office, and it turned into the worst dental experience I’ve ever had. I waited almost an hour just to be called in, only to be taken for multiple X‑rays and scans without clear understanding if they were covered by my insurance, by the way this has always been covered by my previous dentists’ claims. I today confirmed that at least one of them was not covered, and the bill already shows in my insurance portal.

When Dr. Raunak Singh finally came in, I expected my cleaning. Instead, he abruptly claimed I “needed” a laser procedure — something no dentist has ever made it sound like this was mandatory after the cleaning for me. After that, I was left waiting another 30 minutes, only to be told they wouldn’t do my cleaning because they couldn’t verify insurance coverage for the laser treatment I never asked for. I requested just the regular cleaning, and they still refused. I was told they would call me the next day to confirm coverage or how much I would have to pay for this extra laser service.

It has now been three days, no follow‑up call, no explanation, but they already submitted claims for the X‑rays and scans they took. The entire experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and frankly predatory. I stayed there for almost 2 hours and still left without my primary purpose that was the cleaning, which frustrates me deeply. I also witnessed other two patients complaining that they were there waiting for very long.

Stay far away. This office prioritizes billing over patient care, and the experience was nothing short of a scam.

Update #1: please beware of the Bulgarian lady doing teeth whitening. I have burns all over my mouth and even on my lips. She was rushing between two patients. Another staff member came in at the end and basically told her to hurry up with me… she was in such a rush that she neglected to check the protective barrier and the bleach got all over my gums and upper lip. I have pictures as well because this is not right. My husband and friends have done teeth whitening and never went through such a scary experience.. this place is DANGEROUS.

I’ve liked this office but I’ve noticed some off-putting things lately... I don’t know if the staff need to be trained or if the owners are unethical themselves.

The hispanic front desk lady wanted to charge double, almost $600, for a simple teeth whitening. I told her to look up my husband’s chart, he paid $295 for the same whitening in the past. She is saying it was $295 for each arch. After she saw his chart, she said she would honor the $295 for me. That made me feel like she was trying to take advantage of me.

Looking at my chart history, I noticed they charged me for a cleaning last time I went but I never had a cleaning done. I only did a check up (dental X-ray) & the dentist said they were too busy to do the cleaning so I went home. Looks like they took the money from my insurance and didn’t give me the services.

Today, they charged me for fluoride treatment and never gave me any. When I brought it to their attention, they just gave me some that I can apply at home. I think they look at what the insurance will pay and sneak in a bunch of charges to get insurance money.

Most dentists in Vegas like to sneak charges. I thought it would be different at Canyon Pointe but I’m afraid not. Please be wary and make sure you do your due diligence. I just want to warn others out there that this dentist office might be engaging in unethical business practices.

Turned away from basic dental cleaning because I’m pregnant. The ADA even says routine dental services are completely safe in pregnancy and recommends continued dental care throughout pregnancy. Specific clearance is not warranted. Will not be returning. As dentists these professionals should be aware and up to date on current recommendations from their own professional societies.

Arrived at 8:50 for a 9:00 appointment wasn’t seen until about 9:12 wasn’t happy about the wait especially since I had to take off from work. In addition, would have been nice to know ahead of time that the procedure would take about two hours, I had only requested one hour away from work. The hygienist was excellent, really explained things and took care in what was being done.

All the staff at Canyon Pointe Dental are wonderful. I switched to them because I just wasn’t getting the service I trusted because I have severe dental anxiety. Dr. Ancheta and staff (most recently Liz helped me) both listened to my concerns, were compassionate, and clearly explained the plan for helping me. I made an appointment for an Invisalign/Spark consultation. Appointment was at 1pm and I arrived at 12:55 per instructions. At 1:57 I still was not seen -- hadn't even gotten x-rays/scans yet. So I left. Perhaps an off day (hence me giving 3 stars), perhaps poor appointment management but if waiting 1 hour for a consultation (that should take 15 mins) is an indication of how they run -- do not recommend. My time is also valuable and a 1 hour delay is egregious.

Dr Ancheta, Lexi and Raelyn were awesome! 🤩 Dr Ancheta took time to explain the current state of my teeth, gum and overall oral health. He also went over the recommendations and the reason behind it. His hand is so smooth that I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the entire treatment. In my opinion Dr Ancheta, Lexi and Raelyn are very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and courteous 🩷

I am usually not a fan of the dentist, the whole experience is usually very stressful for me. Not this time! The office was clean and nice but mainly it was the assistant, Lisa Daniels, that really made my visit the most enjoyable dental experience I have had to date! Lisa was very professional but very caring and you can tell she loves what she does! I wish more offices had people like her because it really does make a difference for those of us that find these type of appointments less than enjoyable! I would come back to this office because of Lisa and wanted to make sure she got the recognition she deserves!

I recently relocated back her from another city where I had been seeing the same dentist for over 15 years. On my first visit, I was told I needed a deep cleaning, which I had suspected. My mouth just wasn't feeling as clean as usual and I will admit I had fallen into a bad habit of not flossing regularly. Lisa was my hygienist and she was amazing. I usually am extremely uncomfortable because my mouth is small for an adult but she made it as good as possible with a tool to keep my mouth open and I could relax the jaw more. My mouth feels so much cleaner and I am so happy with my visit with Lisa and the team here!!

I returned back to the dentist after 4+ years and thankfully had a nice experience. Crystal and Raelyn were available to check me in. I brought my kids with me and while I checked in, they provided crayons and coloring paper. The wait wasn’t long at all before Lisa the hygienist brought me back to the room for a deep cleaning. Lisa kept informing me step by step on what she needed to do and why. She was very knowledgeable. She broke down exactly why and what I needed in order to get back to healthy gums. She never once made me feel shame for neglecting my teeth for so long. Instead she motivated me to get back on my health journey and being back my whole family. Already scheduled my next cleaning and looking forward to it to show myself and Lisa the improvements I’ve made.

The dentist seems very professional here, but there were many add-on services highly recommended (that insurance doesn’t cover). Aggressive gum probing for gap numbers done here. I floss and use brush picks before brushing without fail each night, but they seemed to be saying I just don’t do a good enough job. Very different experience than my dentist in another state. I don’t need a gold star but I do question this difficult experience.

I've been going there regularly for dental cleanings. About a year ago, they took an X-ray and claimed I had a cavity beneath a crown. Their proposed treatment involved breaking the crown, performing a root canal, filling the cavity, and placing a new crown—totaling over $5,000.

Concerned, I sought a second opinion. That dentist also took an X-ray but found no cavity. Instead, they recommended using small brushes to clean between my teeth. It's now been nearly two years, and after several checkups with other dentists, none have found any cavities.

Despite that, I continued going back for routine cleanings. A few months ago, they told me I needed a "deep cleaning" due to "deep pockets." I visited a dentist in LA who disagreed and performed a standard cleaning instead.

Since I live close to their office, I returned and requested a regular cleaning. They refused, stating they would not treat me unless I agreed to the deep cleaning.

Recently changed dentists and can’t recommends the staff at Canyon Point highly enough. A friend suggested I try them and I was impressed right away with the friendly front office staff, my excellent dentist (Dr Warner) and the state of the art x ray equipment as well as the immediate access that same day to an oral surgeon. I know it’s not typical yet it’s still incredibly impressive they had scheduled me on a day he was in as I had mentioned I may need a tooth extracted. Efficient, professional and first class all the way… Of particular note, and a real selling point for me personally was my second visit/follow up with my dental hygienist Lisa D. She was an absolute delight over the course of a virtually pain free 90 minutes of intensive cleaning. She answered every question I had, consistently checked to ensure I was comfortable and her skill and professionalism is the reason I anticipate Canyon Pointe being my dental office for the foreseeable future!

I went in because I had an emergency my crown broke. Dr. Bath and her assistant Ana helped me get a crown the same day and I didn’t have to wait for very long. I was told that the payment plan option for my wisdom teeth extraction was a card that I pay WITH, not a credit card that I pay OFF. Now im going to have to take a hit on my credit when closing the card once its paid off. Very sketchy behavior to put money in their pockets. I also wasnt told that one of my wisdom teeth had complications and I had to drive all the way back to the dentist 2 days post op because I thought there was something wrong with my jaw. Its such a shame because the receptionist is one of the lovleist people I've met and she cared about & answered any questions I had for her, & ensured I was accommodated every step of the process.
