I’m so sad to leave this review. This business was my go to eye doctor for the last 7 years. I had an appointment today and was told an hour, AN HOUR, before my appointment that they did not take my insurance. Without any options offered, my afternoon was completely rearranged.
I had the appointment for well over a week.
I would’ve paid out of pocket to keep the appointment (and submitted to my insurance personally).
I am now on the hunt, and have made an appointment, with another eye care clinic. The lack of consideration is audacious.

Terrible experience from start to finish. I had high hopes in finding eye care so close to home, but the staff (specifically receptionists) could use some help.
Not disinfecting equipment between uses and when asked to do so, it seemed more of an inconvenience for her. This was my experience throughout my time there. Will not be returning.

Literally the worst eye doctor I’ve ever been to. I didn’t get seen until 40 min past my appointment. The doctor just gave me a higher prescription and then when I went to see another eye doctor they told me that I didn’t need a higher prescription, just an adjusted prescription that accommodates my stigmatism. The doctor at this place talked over me and rushed the appointment. The most recent eye doctor I’ve been going to is absolutely amazing and does not charge extra for contacts, which is truly not “just a state fee.” I would recommend trying to find an eye doctor at the target and then getting contacts at Costco. I’ve saved hundreds and don’t have to deal with this place ever again.

Last year I had a good experience here so I came back this year for my annual appt. It was a whole different experience this time! I ordered two boxes of contacts in March and waited about 3 weeks to only discover they ordered me the wrong lenses. Then I had to wait again for the correct ones and only one box came in a weeks later. I waited and waited and finally in the beginning of June I called and said to cancel the order and ordered from 1-800 contacts. Those arrived within three days! Today is June 11 and I had to call again to ask them to give me a credit, which finally went through. Not sure what happened to the customer service in this office but they need to fix it!

Saw Dr. Nicholas Cutunilli today at the Skye Canyon location and I’m genuinely impressed. He updated my prescription and the difference is remarkable compared to what I’ve been seeing with my current glasses. I didn’t realize how much I was missing until today.

He’s thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to actually explain what he’s doing. On top of that, he’s friendly and welcoming without feeling forced or scripted. The whole appointment felt easy and professional from start to finish.

I would avoid this place at all costs. They charged me twice the amount for glasses as the previous year. I can dismiss the fact that they forgot to tint the lenses. The overall price is completly unfair to the customer. You can bet your hard earned dollar that this place will NEVER see me again. Amazing experience. All the employees and the doctor were wonderful. If you are like me who can’t tell what looks good on your face please do yourself a favor and go see Josh. He’s is patient kind and taught me what I’m supposed to be looking for when picking out a pair of new glasses. This was my 11-year-old's first optometrist visit ever. The doctor knew how to keep him chatting during the appointment to help ease his nerves. He was very professional, chill, relatable, and quick. The rest of the staff was also welcoming, upbeat, and helpful. They explained costs for everything and didn't pressure me at all. There is a large variety of frames to choose from, too. My favorite thing was the advice the doctor and other staff gave my son to empower him to help take care of his own eyesight. We will definitely be going back here!

Dr Wang is my absolute favorite! He's very knowledgeable and explains everything in layman's terms. He's sweet, warm and professional. His staff is amazing as well. They are so friendly when you walk through that door and the technicians are so helpful when your trying to pick out glasses.
Although there was a time when I went there and the technician was helping me pick out glasses. She kept picking the most expensive ones. Most of them I didn't even like and that was before I knew how much they cost. Insurance only pays a portion of frames. That is something they don't tell you unless you ask. I had picked out 2 different frames. One was for sunglasses. So she writes it up without explaining any of the costs, and it was over $600 plus the $400 for my everyday glasses! I couldn't afford that so I decided to continue using the sunglasses I had.
This time around it was a much better experience. If I have to say 1 negative thing, it would be the selection of frames. They are all designer names which makes them very expensive. And it's very minimal in comparison to Shepherd Eye. I went there for many years and they have a great selection of frames in all price ranges.
Overall Centennial Family Eyecare is a good place and they will take good care of you!

I can’t recommend this place. Their website and store do not reflect each other, bad service, you can’t try anything on without someone attending to you, they prefer appointments. If you want to wait, you can sit on some clearly filthy couches. Not a good experience. The whole reason I go to a physical retail shop is to be able to try glasses on. (I cannot speak for the service/care the doctors provide - I was just shopping for frames. I ended up buying three pairs online for the price of one of theirs. I was willing to pay more, but the bad service, bad policies, and bad environment made me change my mind.)

Appointment was to pick up contacts at the Durango office, which was fine. I was not happy when I asked if they could adjust the eyeglasses from slipping off of my face. Keep in mind, I purchased the glasses from their office just 4 months ago. Without even examining my glasses, I needed to sign a waiver that states they are not liable for any damages they make while adjusting the glasses before they could work on the glasses. Sounds like they do not have any confidence in those responsible for eyeglass adjusting? That was totally unexpected and I refused to sign their waiver. I can go elsewhere to get the eyeglasses adjusted for free and without a waiver.

I have been going to Centennial Family Eyecare for over 15 years. I am thinking about changing to the Skye Canyon location. The doctors are great, but the office staff and selection of glasses is greatly lacking. When you arrive, the office staff is not welcoming and bothered you are there. They are always playing loud music that is not conducive to the environment. There are some nice glasses to choose from, but the selection at Skye Canyon is so much more.

I'm a long time client and come in regularly to get my glasses adjusted. The very nice lady that helped me today was amazing. She knew axactly how to get my glasses dialed in. I’m new to Las Vegas. It was time to have my eyes examined. This office was very thorough with my exam. Retinal scanning, checking for glaucoma. Then the actual exam with my doctor. Also filling my prescription for new lenses. They are close to my house and take my insurance. Very convenient for me. 5 different people took care of me. I appreciate the good service. Thanks.

A FANTASTIC office for Eyecare. Very Professional Optometrist and staff. Cassidy (at the front desk) was so friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Cutinelli and can't say enough concerning all the assistance and information I received. His recommendations were spot on and resulted in a procedure that ended up giving me 20/15 eye site. Would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. So happy I found them in Sky Canyon.

On Friday my eye got irritated I went later that day to Skye Canyon ER. They prescribed eye drops that I already had. I Woke up on Saturday with a swollen eye. It was burning itching and quite painful. I called the Optometrist office and asked if Dr. Wong was in. They said he was not and as I was ready to hang up. Cristina asked is there something we could do for you? I explained to her that I had called on Friday to see if I could get in, but they said they didn’t have appointments until Tuesday so I went to the Skye canyon ER where they just looked at my eye and gave me drops. But I woke up the next morning with a swollen, painful eye. Cristina then said let me see what I can do to get you in to see one of the doctors. She got me in right away and I was able to see Dr. Griffin who was very kind and professional. He prescribed me a stronger eye drop that helped immensely. It is employees like Cristina who make a world of a difference and I appreciate her customer service. She is amazing and I am so thankful for her and her professionalism. I have been
a patient for almost 17 years alongside my family. Cristina thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are awesome.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Nicholas Cutunilli for a few years now. We’ve been to the N Durrango location , then now found a home here with Dr. Cutunilli at the Sky Canyon location.

The staff is incredible kind, accommodating and very knowledgeable. From checking in, pre-screening, eye exam to finding glasses and then final pick up, you could tell they all enjoy what they do and always have each persons best interest first!

But let’s talk about Josh, Lead Optician.
This very last visit for my husband and I was sooooo seamless, Josh deserves a whole lot of shine! He was so informative, so patient, and it was like he knew what we were gonna ask before we asked. Finding the right pair of glasses this time with Josh was so easy. He narrowed down what we wanted, and pulled glasses accordingly. I can’t even put into words how amazingly awesome it was to find a pair of glasses we liked and in our price range without spending all day trying on every pair!

I wish I remembered all the ladies working today, but they deserve praise too! Today was our sons first eye exam and to say it was one of the calmest appointment is an understatement. The ladies made him feel so at ease and then Dr. Cutunilli came in, it all just came together full circle!

It’s very impressive to walk into a well kept office of great frame options and all the staff as pleasurable as can be! Highly, highly recommended!!!

From entering to exiting, as a new patient today, I loved this place. From the decor, to the front desk staff, to the variety of frames, to the doctor and optician, everything was great. Dr. C was great, was very well-spoken and great, and then Stephanie, my optician, was just as amazing!! My appt started at 8:45am, and I didn’t leave until about 10:45am, but that’s because I couldn’t decide on which frames I wanted (lol I’m indecisive okay?!) and because Stephanie and I had a great conversation prior to looking at frames. My dad, mom, younger brother and sister all come here too. Today was my first time here though, and my family said nothing but great things. We used to go to another eye doctor off of West Sahara for 25+ years. Needless to say, we’re going to tell everyone to come here for their vision needs. Thank you to Dr. C, and all of the staff!! :)

I had a great experience working with Josh to find a pair of frames that I’m happy to wear daily. The staff were friendly and this location at Skye Canyon is well stocked with so many options to choose from.

Also, I did an eye exam with Dr. Wang at the Durango location and I was very pleased with the service I received. He was very professional, knowledgeable and gave me some great information on what to look out for regarding my exam. Dawn was great as well, providing excellent customer service while shopping for frames. I highly recommend both locations if you are in need of an eye exam and glasses!

Upon arriving I was greeted by a very friendly staff, It was my first visit and they were all very welcoming and friendly. I was seen pretty fast for how busy they were yet it was a very efficiently ran office. My doctor was fast, thorough and had a quick wit about him which was fun even though he prescribed me progressive lenses lol but I won’t deduct any stars for the lenses. They carry a wide variety of frames for all budget types as well which is nice. I would highly recommend for the whole family.
