I can't say enough about Dr. Claire Hiles and the entire staff at the La Canada Medical Clinic. From the reception staff, Raquel and Lizzie to the nurses Camie, Christopher and Maria, as well as the transfusion staff of nurses. They truly care about their patients, which is becoming a lost component of medical care these days. ZERO RATINGS! I was a patient of Dr. Butt and was transferred to Hiles. I had one appointment and it was my last early in the year. During my appointment Hiles started the conversation off with "I don't think you...probably ever had Cancer". I about fell off my seat. I instantly started to shake and get upset. Then Hiles asked me to tell her the story of the first time I heard it. I told her 2018 Feb 14th at 2:30pm at Comprehensive Cancer on Viking. I proceeded and telling Hiles about the surgeries. Then she told me.. I don't have neuroendocrine carcinoma. Left me speechless. She pulled up a computer graph of something else. I would need 6 year degree of medical school to understand. As I said, this all in my records from 6 specialist. I've had 4 major surgeries and induced coma. After getting nowhere with Hiles at this point, I was just listening and very over it. She proceeded to tell me about a once month shot to take. At that point I had enough and started to walk out. She gave a date/time for the shot. Was very pushy about it. (Which I went to 2 specialists and primary and all said NO!) I could not believe what had been said! I felt very panicked and confused. 6 weeks later I started with a new oncologist. Transferred to Dr. Deepa Mocherla. Part 2!>>>
