This place is wonderful and very professional. Dr. Asraf was thorough and helped me refine my prescription which is difficult because I have astigmatism in my left eye. Luis was patient and detail oriented in helping me refine my prescription. I highly recommend this practice! UPDATE: my first visit in 2026 was excellent! A thorough exam, and everyone was warm and helpful.

Ok, lets start out by saying that I am not the easiest customer to please. That being said, they were kind and considerate all the way through the contact fitting process. I had never worn contacts before and they taught me everything about them in about 30 mins. It took me (as I said, I am not the easiest customer) a few trials to make sure I found what I liked. Very nice and helpful staff - amazing Dr.! I 100% recommend using them for your eye needs.

I went to this office for an eye exam. I already had my own frame and did not go there to order new glasses.

The eye exam itself was acceptable, and the staff was not rude; however, the service, communication, and follow-up were extremely poor.

Despite the fact that I brought my own frame, I was required to sign a form stating that if my frame broke in the lab, they would not be responsible. This signature was mandatory, not optional.

After 2–3 weeks, when I called to check on the status, I was told, “Oh, sorry, your frame broke and you need to come in and buy a new one.”

My frame was in good condition and not inexpensive, yet I was forced to purchase a new frame.

It has now been almost two months since the process started, and I still do not have my glasses. I have had to constantly call and follow up myself. Often my calls are not answered, I am put on hold for 20 minutes, or I am told someone will call me back—which never happens. I receive no clear updates, and no one can tell me when my glasses will actually be ready, despite the time and money I have already spent.

Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating due to the lack of communication, accountability, and organization. I would not recommend this office if you expect reliable service or timely follow-up.

It's been more than a month now yet my eyewear is not yet with me.
I went to their Horizon Ridge clinic on December 3,2025 and purchased eyeglasses. I bought 1 brand new frame and had a 2nd pair, making use of my rarely used frame. I paid for everything, on the spot, right on the very same day I ordered the glasses.I was told my eyewear will be ready in 2 weeks time. I was glad. I said, i will have new glasses by Christmas. I called on December 18 to check. They are not yet done . I was advised to call up the following week. I called on December 24. What greeted me was a recorded message about their office hours on Thanksgiving day. That was not Thanksgiving day!
On December 26,2025, I received a texted message saying my eyewear is ready for pick up. I went there December 31,but only 1 was made. I complained. I said it's been a long wait . The optician said the 2nd pair is ready later in the day or on January 5. I cannot be physically going often to their clinic . I'm a PWD .It's not easy for me traveling with out a companion. I requested to have it delivered. They don't deliver, they ship. They saw I was visibly irked by the delay ,they said they are foregoing the shipping charge. Expect it either January 05 or 06,2026. On January 06,I called to check. I was told my eyeglasses were not included in the box picked up by UPS . Where I come from, we call that negligence.
They will include it in the following pick ups. Expect it in 2 to 3 days. What a long and frustrating wait! There's not even the slightest bit of initiative feeding back a client about a paid transaction,specially consideringt that the client has an active complaint and was promised that my 2nd pair is ready later in the day of December 31 or January 05. If I didn't call to check, I will not know of the status of my paid purchase.
Among the list of clinics suggested by Medicare for prescription glasses to be made, I can't help but regret now why I chose them.

I had no problems getting an appointment, even though I wasn’t using insurance. I walked in, and was greeted by the sweetest receptionist. Then waited only about a minute or two before getting taken back for my eye exam. Everyone was so nice and the doctor even showed me the pictures they took of my eyes! It was very cool. Then they had Teresa help me choose my glasses. She was so great and went out of her way to listen to what I was looking for and give me so many options to choose from. She also helped me find the best deal since I wasn’t using insurance. I hadn’t been to the eye doctor in years before this, but I will definitely be back sooner after this experience. We told the assistant that my husband needed to try out the prescription given to him by his ophthalmologist to see if this would help his vision driving and reading. She was well aware of the "try out" and at no time did she say the glasses were "Non-Refundable". In fact, when we paid for the glasses and in small print on the bottom of the invoice says "NO REFUNDS" - "REMAKES IN 90 DAYS OF ORDER". However, we paid for the glasses already and at no time did she mentioned their "NO REFUND POLICY." I've spoken to their team and was told she will get back to me. Its been 5 days since and no word. I messaged them as well, and no response.

I had a terrible experience and will not return. I had a yearly exam and purchased some very expensive glasses. That's where the customer service ended. 2 months later and I've yet to receive my glasses. One excuse after another and still no glasses.
Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to potentially avoid the same happening to you.
They never made an effort to rectify my time and effort. Not even a discount for a future purchase. No customer service and I felt my business wasn't worth anything to them.

Receptionists were friendly and broke down all the possible fees/copays with everything. The technician was nice and gave me information through out the appointment. He also answered my questions. When I met with the Dr he was extremely informative and listened to my concerns. I also was able to see the picture of my eyes which was really cool to see. I was able to find some glasses and am anxiously awaiting them to come back from being made with my prescription. They also had a clearance on sunglasses. So I was able to get my prescription in sunglasses too .

I would recommend this eye dr office. I will be going back for follow up visits.

This office is so much better than the one On Water Street. The office staff On Water Street are extremely rude and unprofessional. The front office staff all need to find a different line of work put in a back office away from customers.

I wrote a review 2 years ago or so and gave it 5 stars. I always had a great experience at this location. Until now. Last month I made an appointment and the only availability was today 10/13/22 because there would not be a Dr available. I had been wearing my contacts for a while and needed a new pair but figured I could wait. They called me again and said no Dr was available and I would have to reschedule.My contacts had been bothering me so I asked if I could get a pair until my new appointment. This has NEVER been a problem before, they would happily give me a new pair until my appointment. Well now they decided not to work with me. Even though my appointment was later because no doctor was available and even though they had to reschedule it later again. I don’t know if they have new office management now or what is going on, but after this appointment I am going to look for a new Dr. The late appointments is not a fault of mine and they should be able to work with me like they did before. I am not interested in going to a office who refused to work with me when it is not my fault. Just a word of advice, you may want to work with the patient sometimes. I wasn’t asking for a full year of contacts. Just ONE pair since I couldn’t get in.

The doctor and staff are great here! I am always in and out without any waiting and everyone in the office is knowledgeable and friendly. I have been going to this office for several years now and have never had a poor experience.

Here’s a long and thorough review. First off, Dr. Mancuso is not customer service friendly. I just went with my husband to do a redo of his eye exam. From what I experienced, the staff is very friendly, so they get 5 stars! The doctor tho... he made my husband and I feel like we were taking up his time. My husband went for an eye exam 2 days ago and felt like his exam was rushed. When we compared his prescription to his prescription from 2 years ago, it seemed very off. How can only one eye have astigmatism this time, and 2 years ago at a different optical center, both eyes had one. So we went back for another exam today, which was very inconvenient. The doctor compared his exam to the other exam from 2 years ago, and his prescription for one eye was accurate, but the other eye was way off. I’m sorry, when you’re -1.00 off on one eye, that’s a big difference, not a small change (as he put it). When he was asking my husband which lenses looked clearer, he got snappy a couple times because my husband said they both looked blurry and still couldn’t see clearly. He said that his vision will never be 20/20 but he’ll get as close as he can to it. Isn’t that the point of getting glasses, so you can see 20/20 from the help of the glasses? On top of that, both times he didn’t use his tool to manually look in the eye to check the health of the eye. Yes, this is not our first rodeo with eye exams. We will never go to this location for an eye exam again. My kids and I went to the ClearVision on Sahara and Cimarron, and both their doctors and staff is very customer service friendly. My husband chose this location because it was closer to where we live. The only reason why my kids and I didn’t go to this location is because they’re not open on weekends. After this experience with my husband, I’m glad we didn’t.

I was extremely pleased with the service very professionally staff especially Samantha there was a minor issue with my glasses I called and Samantha took care of it right away and made sure the issue was corrected....even though everyone is wearing mask I can tell that she is providing service with a SMILE

I have astigmatism and some minor optical complications. This is by far the most knowledgeable and capable optical team I've encountered in over 20 years. Not to mention everyone was so friendly, the doctor takes time with you, and I waited less than 3 minutes after checking in.
I'm so very pleased I found them!

This company is the most aggressive and annoying at marketing., it's rediculous.

If you go in for an appointment, the following year they will automatically call you and tell you that you have an appointment even though you NEVER set it up. they will keep calling you and emailing you. They even have robocalls doing their dirty work.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH CLEAR VISION CENTERS.
