Trish at the front desk is most friendly and helpful person. I missed a lab appointment, and she called to help squeeze me in even though the lab had just closed. I just loved her smile and love the way she makes me so welcome. Thank you in a million, Trish.

Krista B is another favorite person at the clinic. She is always so cheerful and so supportive. She already closed her lab and made kind accommodations to do my lab work so that I didn’t have to make another trip. Such a kind and considerate. I really appreciate her.

Overall, this is a fantastic center. Dr. Christensen has been treating me with such kind care as if I were her relative. She is the best. Her nurse, Michelle Bigg, has always been so wonderful and knowledgeable to see when Dr. Christensen was too busy.

Cheers

Xiaoping.

I don’t understand the 1 star reviews on here. I thought 1 star ratings was for things like our government and the Raiders.

I enjoyed the smaller number of patients, the attention of the physician and interest in details of my case that I had not experienced before with this company.

I guess she only cares about surgeries, came in with obvious signs of mastitis. Terhar looked at me without a care in the world, answered “I don’t know” about my symptoms and told me unsymmetry was common and, with a sly grin, said that she knew a good plastic surgeon(because I told her one was swollen compared to the other.) I went to see another doctor who ended up treating the mastitis and finally after 8 months now it is gone. A breast surgeon that cannot identify mastitis… slim chance. She knew and decided not to treat it. That is by definition malpractice. Thanks a lot Terhar!

Unfortunately, our experience at this oncology clinic was very disappointing. At a place where compassion and sensitivity are so important, especially when dealing with ill patients.

Nurse Practitioner Biggs showed a surprising lack of empathy. When I asked a simple and reasonable question about her order, she seemed visibly offended, as if questioning or seeking clarity was a challenge to her authority. That reaction was not only unprofessional but incredibly discouraging in a setting where patients are looking for guidance and reassurance.

The check-out staff also lacked warmth or understanding, treating the process like a routine transaction instead of an interaction with someone navigating a very difficult health journey.

The only person who offered any true sense of compassion was the medical assistant who roomed me. Her kindness and attentiveness stood out and made a hard visit a little more bearable.

This kind of care environment is unacceptable for a oncology clinic. I truly hope the leadership reflects on this and trains their staff, especially those in direct patient contact, to lead with empathy, patience, and respect.

I have been trying to schedule with them since March...I had to chase after them to schedule and have been forced to reschedule twice by the office. I am currently pregnant and this is placing myself and my baby at risk. I cant understand why this place is so unprofessional. I understand Drs are humans too, but yall should have emergency appointments for situations like mine. Youve forced me to seek another hematologist out of fear for my health and my baby. Unacceptable.

My provider referred me to a Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada location on the west side of town, but after multiple attempts, they never answered their phone. Since I reside close to this Wigwam location, I decided to visit in person with my referral to inquire about the next steps. Upon arrival, I was told they couldn't schedule me immediately but would take my information and call me back within 48-72 hours. It has now been ten business days, and I have yet to receive any response. Even my follow-up email to the liaison have gone unanswered.

I had a similar problem with the same nurse.
The minute you start calling on her about an issue that she caused, she get very defensive. I had to deal with her over the phone and she was literally yelling at me about refills on my mother’s medication that she was supposed to have called in and never did.

Well I finally took my mother to a whole different cancer center where she is treated like an adult.
A little note to VALERIE,
You are not a doctor so do not advise as one.
You have no clue what a cancer patient goes through so don’t pretend you do.
You might want to learn how to PROFESSIONALLY address patient and their caregivers.

Just take your loved one elsewhere.
God bless all who have to deal with this horrible disease.

Doctors are awesome, but one particular nurse (Valerie) has a very bad attitude toward us every time we deal with her. She makes the tension in her presence very uncomfortable. Never returns phone calls and when she does she makes you feel like you’re a bother. I think she needs to learn how to appreciate the patients. And learn how to talk to them professionally..

Was told initially they'll call twice before the end of fhe day. Didn't hear back for a week. Was told they'll call another office for me that's closer even though I wanted to go here. Never got a call back. Still trying to make an appointment 🤣

Every time I call they say that I'm in the spreadsheet and I will get a call in 24-48 hours to schedule. I have yet to receive 1 call. My doctor recommended Dr. Terhar and said I needed to see her due to a time crunch but the scheduling department still has not called me! I'm sure it's not her fault but I don't understand why scheduling has to be so difficult and time consuming. It's been 3 weeks! I hope they call soon.

Dr.Nguyen best ever, kind, sincere, beautiful smile, professional, very open to questions, communicates with ease, great listener. All the staff are excellent, professional, beautiful smiles, upbeat, sincere, caring. This place is very peaceful and warm due to all the great staff, from front office, blood drawers, schedulers, medication nurses, nurses, operator, I mean everyone, thank you all for everything that you do.

Dr. Parikh is the best doctor I've seen in Nevada. The front desk staff seems abrasive when you first walk in, but they aren't actually bad. They're very much a "well oiled machine" type facility.
The lab techs get my veins every time. The infusion center has started FOUR IVS on me in a month without having to ask me to "come back a different day" (Beau and Molly are rockstars).
When my insurance denied a treatment, they called me to let me know THE NEXT DAY! They always reach out if there are issues (and I appreciate that so much).
My ONLY complaint is that someone in the front desk bank sprays insanely heavy, cheap, Bath and Body Works type body spray (different scents) and it's horrid (especially when you have scent sensitivities).
All in all, I'm pretty fond of this place.

From my first consultation with Dr. Nguyen and his wonderful compassionate staff, I feel I have received superior care. Onsite lab is a blessing, and the office is run professionally. The voice-automated answering system is difficult to navigate, until you connect with a staff member. I'm so glad I chose this practice for my medical care.

Dr. Holdridge and her whole staff are awesome, kind and loving. They take extra care to make sure that every patient feels comfortable and cared for. From the receptionists, schedulers, nps like Michelle Bigg and the nurses in the Chemo room, they make a really bad situation a little more comfortable. I would recommend them to everyone.

The doctors are amazing but the front office makes it not worth it. It is impossible to make appointments as all you do is leave messages that no one returns. If you happen to get an operator they are very rude to patients.

Tried to communicate with these useless tools for four weeks and made zero progress. Excuses, poor communication, aggravation, frustration. I have CANCER and need help now. If that is your situation, seek help elsewhere because these people offer nothing but dead ends and accomplish nothing!

I’ve had probably 20 specialist doctors in my lifetime In two different states. The best doctor by far I’ve ever had was Regan Holdridge, MD. It’s so awesome when you finally get a doctor that knows what they’re doing in and is compassionate and cares. She actually spends time talking to you. Wow highly recommend.

It's mind blowing to me how bad the customer service is in regards to answering the phone. You will have to spend hours and hours on the phone waiting for them to answer. Most time they don't. So stressful to get a hold of anyone. I don't even work and I wonder how people with a job find time to call them.

The most horrible experience I have lived, after trying to have an appointment with a Dr. Oncologo, in this center, for my father diagnosed with cancer going on 20 days and they did not take care of us, the full of anxiety and suffering for not knowing exactly what he had, we have decided to see Dr. Sharda who is a true healer, I give him 0 star if he had, the attention of the secretary is of bad education, my father speaks Spanish and he is attracted as nothing. Disappointment. So the name of COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CETERS, IS VERY NICE, BUT DOES NOT APPLY WITH YOU.
