Doctor Lee is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Lee's special procedures include degenerative, traumatic, and deformational spinal pathologies as well as complex reconstructions and revision spine surgery. He holds expertise in the area of trauma surgery as well. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with distinction from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. During his residency, he participated in the care of the New York Jets and New York Rangers. Dr. Lee completed his spine fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medicine under John P. Kostuik, M.D., the past chairman of spine and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Dr Lee was great during my initial consultation regarding several issues caused by a work place incident that took place on 6-23-2026 i felt that I was getting the runaround with primary care,the adjusters, and my employer, But when I saw DR. Lee my worries were put at ease because he explained to me the process moving forward and he was thorough in his exam I am now getting the treatment I need thankyou DR Lee.

Patients come to doctors already in pain, stressed, vulnerable, and hoping they have found the right Doctor who can help guide them toward healing and recovery. No matter what setting you are in, when you are a doctor, you have a duty to help people in need. Dr. Daniel Lee fell short in that area. I waited for an hour to see him got roughly a 5 minute encounter with if that. I left feeling unheard, dismissed, disappointed, misdiagnosed, and no closer to resolving my pain. I would not recommend him. Poor morals, doesn’t listen and doesn’t care . He should be ashamed as a spinal surgeon.

A few months ago, I set up an appointment to see the doctor for my neck and lower back
And after a few weeks, I went to the appointment on time!
I talked to the staff regarding wanted to see the appointment for both Issues at the same time. As requested earlier!
His staff responded back. The doctor is too busy to see you for both.
You only allowed to see one part of the body.
I responded back to the staff that I was clearly made the appointment to see the doctor for both issues in the same time!
The staff politely responded back and she said no he is busy!
He cannot look at both of them today.
At the end, I ended up leaving the place without seeing the doctor. And canceling the appointment and visit.
However, I felt this doctor like Many other doctors wanted to go for the insurance money not for the patient need.
They look at the patient as a customer.
I still don’t understand how come if I wanted to go see a doctor that I should spend MINIMUM of 30 mins going through the diagnostics and checking all the options if needed. and especially with Dr. Lee, he can’t see the CT scan which it might take him a couple minutes to analyze it and give answers right then in there
Unless you don’t care if the patient status as much as you care about their insurance how to get money out of it that serves your benefit first
I didn’t get a chance to meet you. I’ve heard all the good stories and good reviews, For that reason, I set up the appointment

Dr.lee is fantastic! Five years ago he put my neck together after a VERY serious car accident. My disks were shattered and my neck very broken. Dr. Lee saved my spinal cord and repaired me so that I would have the best recovery possible. He was extremely confident and skilled . I have had great mobility and not nearly as much residual pain as I thought I would have. My neck has remained stable for 5 years. Yesterday when I saw him he was as kind and compassionate as I remember. He truly is a great doctor and human being. I have the utmost respect and love for him.

What set the stage was the immaculately clean office then off I went to the clerical staff where I was treated with kindness empathy and professionalism professionalism
. I'm shortly taken to a room. Before being seen by the doctor they took new x-rays for the doctor to have a comparison. Two interns came in and explained everything about my break and the damage done to my elbow. They explained everything to me in terms I would understand. After I saw the doctor he came in and explained everything to me again and found an elbow specialist to refer me to everyone I encountered at the office we're also kind and helpful I would definitely recommend Dr Lee and his staff.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but my appiontment with Dr. Lee was disappointing. He was polite, but spent a whopping 2 minutes with me. It felt incredibly rushed, I didn’t have time to explain the circumstances around my injury, and he did not take any time to really understand the situation in its entirety. He ran out before I was even able to talk through the treatments I was interested in. Working in the medical field it’s always fast-paced, but if you aren’t able to spend more than 2 minutes with a patient and don’t try to understanding factors/circumstance that would impact treatment, you should probably see less patients.

I was having chronic pain in my lumbar area. Dr. Lee said I was a good candidate for surgery and that he could help. I was bone on bone on my L5-S1 and it was pressing on the nerves. I was hurting everyday. I decided that surgery would benefit me and that i could finally get pain relief. I went ahead and scheduled surgery and it has been the best decision of my life. Dr. Lee is the very best orthopedic surgeon and was able to fix my back and I no longer have the chronic pain that I use to. I highly recommend him as he is the best back surgeon and can help you with relieving your pain. It is great I can get X-rays there. Front staff very courteous. I am certain the Doctor was way behind in schedule and he spent maybe 2 minutes with me maybe less. I felt this visit was a waste of time. They took x-rays which really revealed nothing. Did not explain to me what was going on, what I should expect, why my leg was numb, told me I would feel better if he gave me the injection. When I told him that I had issues with the injection he put a big X on my chart and said well, I guess we’re not going to do that. Then he told me to get an MRI and go to physical therapy. I don’t understand why he would tell me go to physical therapy when he didn’t knowWhat was wrong with me yet he was in and out of that office in about 3 1/2 minutes. They sent in The same script to two different pharmacies with two different dosages. This doctor did not seem to care one bit why I was in so much pain or where the pain was coming from. I will be getting the MRI but I will certainly not be going back to this doctor. He took no interest in me as a patient.

My first visit with doctor Daniel Lee was today and I'm still in shocked.. never have I ever had a Doctors appointment that I have to ask to actually see the doctor during my appointment.. I saw 3 different ppl.. assistant, nurse practitioner and X-ray technician.. and they were gonna send me home without ever speaking to dr.. then I asked if I could see him, nurse practitioners response "if you want to!?" Well yes.. I made an appointment a month ago.. had to make arrangements and baby sister to be here. And I would like to see the doctor I made appointment with.
He comes in. Sits at the chair by the door. Walked in at 2:23pm and leave the room at 2:24pm (1 min visit) whattt is going on.. he didn't even say anything before he walked out.. (any other question?) no hello when he walked in...
This was officially the most unprofessional Doctors visit I've ever had..
he ordered MRI for follow up visit, I would definitely not be going back.
I contacted desert orthopedics and they recommended a different doctor..

The Staff and The Medical Assistants was very Attentive and Showed Concern , Where as Dr. Lee did not spend any time with me to get to bare root of my Sciatic flareup , after leaving the back room rather than asked me had I tried Physical Therapy , he just took it on his own to order which I have tried and don’t help . And to order another MRI is waste of Money and time , went one was present less than year old .
