If you have the chance to go see Dr. Taylor, I highly recommend it. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been terrified of going to the dentist. But when I went to see Dr. Taylor, it honestly didn’t even feel like I was at the dentist. Everyone was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Dr. Taylor was patient, understanding, and made the whole experience so much easier for me. Even when he could tell I was overwhelmed and had a lot of emotions going through my head, he was incredibly understanding and never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. I genuinely couldn’t recommend Dr. Taylor enough!

Absolutely couldn't be more happy with this office. My husband and I are truck drivers and his tooth started causing him extreme pain last night. Not only were they extremely friendly, they were able to get us in today and get it extracted with oral sedation. My husband who is extremely terrified of anything dentist related, was incredibly impressed with Dr. Taylor and his technique. The price was transparent, and we received a great price for the emergency extractions. Planning on making a visit back here for the additional work he needs to get his smile back where he wants it.

After scheduling an appointment, I really needed to get in sooner, and they made it happen. We set up a whole plan for my treatment, and I came back the next day to start with extracting a tooth. For the future, there's going to be more removals / implants, etc. My doctor used nitrous to ease the nerves and it worked. They really worked with me for the numbing process, allowing several more minutes to cure. I'm not a fan of the dentist, but they truly made me feel the best that I've ever felt, from walking into the building to leaving, everyone was so nice. Thank you.

I am a new patient. I broke a bridge that was over 10 years old. I had just received a flyer in the mail and am very happy that I made an appointment to see a dentist. They are only 10 minutes away. Customer service and everyone that I encountered was very professional, thorough, very welcoming and answered all my questions. The high tech equipment was so impressive. The facility is very well maintained, clean and staffs are on time. I came about 10 minutes earlier and the dental hygienist called me and start the cleaning.

She is very thorough and later on asked the dentist to do another thorough exam and told the hygienist to put a note about a tooth that we need to set an eye on and that we have to do an x-ray at the next schedule.

I had to make an emergency appointment and found this practice through a search. I am so happy I found them. I haven't been to the dentist in years due to fear and anxiety of the dentist 😬 When I walked in the office, I was greeted right away and was immediately comforted after telling them I hadn't been in years. The dental assistant, Gina, was very friendly and funny. I felt so much more comfortable after she talked me through what the plans were and they were there to make the experience the least worrisome as possible for my tooth extraction. Beware of their billing practice. I will preface this by stating this is not a reflection on their work but on their billing. This review is going to be really long.

I called this place when they first opened a little over a year ago because I had severe tooth pain. Now 3 months prior to this I had had a routine dental exam and cleaning but I had a bad experience with that dentist and they did not complete my exam but did finish my cleaning. When I called them, I explained that situation because my insurance wasn't going to cover another exam, and I only called about the exam not the cleaning, they told me no problem we'll get you in on a new patient deal for $70 and won't use insurance for it. Ok perfect, I went in, they did the exam and xrays and found some cavities, told me because my pain was severe they would do the cleaning the day of my fills. At that point I asked if the cleaning was covered under the $70, if not I will hold off until it's covered since I had just had a cleaning done anyways 3 months ago, she said yes, it's covered, you should just get it done. So I said ok. I was able to use my insurance for my cavities and paid my copays upfront when I scheduled that day. when I went in for the work, they finished and told me they wouldn't be able to do the cleaning and they would need to reschedule it for another day. (So this would make 3 visits in total, over a month span, that's really annoying to have to keep going back) I asked again to make sure that the cleaning was covered under the $70 because I didn't want my insurance to get billed for it since I knew they wouldn't cover it. The lady said let me check, she went and checked and came back said "yes it is." So I scheduled it and got it done. Now fast forward a few months and I got a bill for the cavities. I called and told them I paid my copays upfront. She said she would look into it and call me back. No call back. Then I got another bill for $80 for the cleaning. I called back and explained the situation and again was told I was going to get a call back. I never received a call back. I called again and they were like "oh yes we're going to call you today. Your insurance made a mistake and sent you the check instead of us and they overpaid the claim, so the check is for a larger amount then what was the billed." Why would the insurance overpay a claim specifically if it was billed for a lower amount? (I work for one of the largest medical billing and coding practices, specifically my insurance company, insurances don't just overpay by mistake. Super shady!) I told her I have to search my back account to see if I received it (my husband and I share a bank account and he tends to deposit things without my knowledge) but at that point I was really frustrated and I ask them to send me an itemized bill/ claim that they sent the insurance so I can figure out why they insurance would over pay and I wanted to know why I was still getting billed for the cleaning. They said they would email me the bill and had to talk to the manager and, you guessed it, they would call me back. I told them that when they called back I'll let them know about the check. Of course, no one called me back and no itemized bill. Well life happened and that month I found out I was pregnant and it was high risk from the start. so I had other pressing issues to deal with and this was the last thing to on my mind. So of course, I got sent to collections and now have to deal with all that. I don't have the energy to call them and go round and round again. It is what it is and I will be biting the bullet. But lesson learned, I will not be back and can not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr Taylor and his staff will rip you off, upsell unnecessary dental work. As the daughter of a recently retired dentist seeking a new dentist for dental care told me that I needed 13 cavities filled and deep cleaning dental work done. If I had gone through with getting my perfectly healthy teeth drilled and filled - would’ve caused significant damage to my healthy teeth and eventually needed dentures in the far future. I got the X-rays from this practice and went to my Dad and I went to a family friend’s dental practice and got my teeth cleaned and was told I had NO cavities and that I was lied to by Dr Taylor and his staff. Will never come back. If you need a honest dentist and his staff, I highly recommend Dr Zachary Soard at Dentistry for Families.

I am 74 years old and have had many cleanings over the years. I have had two visits with Sandy; the first was six months ago, and then this last one. I have never had a better, painless, more thorough cleaning than these last two times. My experience from start to finish was excellent. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process! When I walked into Sierra North I instantly felt comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the DA was very gentle, even while scraping my teeth and gums (tartar, ugh). The dentists explained everything that was planned and, when I thought I’d displaced some stitches, brought me back instantly to check. Fortunately, all was well.

I highly recommend Sierra North for all your dentistry needs. One caveat; pretend Dutch Bros isn’t a 10-second walk away from the front door. Just get in your car, drive away, and be proud of yourself for not washing away all that nice fluoride rinse with delicious, sugary coffee.

I am a product of WWll dentistry. I have horror stories that led to a life time phobia of dentists. Most all dental work I experienced during my lifetime was done under anesthesia. I finally had a long talk to myself and made an appointment with Dental Care at Sierra North. I was petrified as I checked in. The staff was super friendly…from the front desk to the assistant who took X-rays before seating me in the dental chair. The dentist came in, took my hand in hers and within minutes had me laughing. I was introduced to the hygienist who promised pain free cleaning. My first visit to a dental office in over 20 years went smoothly. Years of phobia will be hard to erase but I no longer feel the extreme anxiety I felt during my first visit. Everyone I had contact with has put me at ease. I would highly recommend Dental Care at Sierra North to everyone…..especially a coward like me.

Dr Taylor was very nice and caring. I felt welcome in this office. The front office was efficient and very kind. The hygienist was fast and funny with a great sense of humor. I have had a fear of dentists my entire life. But didn’t suffer any anxiety at all during my visit.

Everybody was very nice and pleasant from the first person that great, to the hygienist, Dentist. The dentist and hygienist was very Knowledgeable, And presented information in a way that it was clear and showed that they care by also making sure I felt included in the plan and listened to my goal. I have had experiences in the past that has caused me to have a lot of anxiety with the dentist, and this office help put those to rest.

This practice and all of the staff are exceptional. Everything was explained to me in detail by the doctor, his assistant and the hygienist. They made sure I was comfortable and in no pain. I was feeling frustrated after having been to two different dental offices in NLV and not having found one I liked. I got a mailer in the mail for Dental Care at Sierra North and I’m so happy I made an appointment. Dr. Darko and her staff were amazing! I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist office ever! Usually these visits are filled with anxiety but Dr. Taylor, Steph the hygienist, and everyone else there made the experience completely painless and worry free. They explained step by step what they were doing the whole way, made me aware of different options I had available to me, and appropriately understood and addressed any concerns I had. The building itself was incredibly clean and inviting compared to other offices I’ve been to. All in all, I’m extremely pleased with every aspect of my visits.

I had an appointment to get my implants and arches cleaned, it was the first time the staff had ever seen my type of dental work. I am new to this area and this office! Upon arrival to my first dental appointment, I was pleasantly surprised it was less than a 10 min drive of my home and in a professional location. The parking has easy access to the building and, Dr. Darko and her staff are the BEST! The moment I walked into the office, from the front desk to the very talented X-Ray technician to (my) new Dentist, Dr. Darko; I knew I was in the right Office! I’ve been very intentional about my oral hygiene for many years. I am thrilled to have found a great Dental team near my home to help me maintain my great smile.
