Kassi and Dr. Nelson we’re both amazing! I’ve never been here before, but I had a dental emergency, and they were the closest to my house, and they were able to get me in within an hour and a half of me calling. I didn’t feel like I was being judged at all, and they were very detailed and patient. They were able to fix the issue that I was having. And I was out in about an hour and a half. Will definitely be coming here moving forward!

If you are a grown baby who fears the dentist- you have found your place! Dr. Uju and the entire staff are very caring and patient. He lays out priorities and options in advance with no pressure. The execution of work was flawless and they are all so kind. No upselling or factory assembly line feeling that you get from some offices. Only genuine people doing their best. Friendly staff. Dr Nelson is super cool. Patients beware of DSO tactics. Dentists are now like a car dealership with upsells and seeing what they can squeeze past patients who don’t know any better. Chances are a free cleaning is no longer free and they will hit you with a bill for THOUSANDS of dollars like the rest of the corporate backed offices. There are no margins in free cleanings , and they will find the money somehow. No fault to the staff, welcome to America’s new dental environment.

In short, THIS SHOULD BE YOUR DENTAL OFFICE!
(To be clear, Dr Uju purchased this practice after June 2026 and the previous reviews are older. I did my research since dental visits are never fun and sometimes expensive.)
I am sitting in the parking lot of Dr Uju's office writing this post because it definitely could not wait. I broke a tooth completely off on Saturday. I called his office at 345PM and was able to get an appointment for Monday at 930AM. By 11AM on Monday, I had a tooth pulled and an implant set with absolutely NO PAIN. I had already known that this particular tooth was an issue and was not surprised that it had to be removed. Brandi walked me though the charges and payment. She called my insurance to verify eligibility and made the finance end of it easy to understand. She was very welcoming and genuinely sincere.
Kassi walked me back and took xrays and chit-chatted with me and helped me forget that I was at the dentist office. She was so kind and easy to talk to. She got everything ready for the doc and didn't forget I was in the room.
Then came Dr. Uju. He was not your typical dentist. He was so down to earth. He gave me some options and I chose to do a removal and implant. I expected the process to take weeks. He said, we can do it today. TODAY?! Uh, I needed to do anything but dental work today, like cut the grass with scissors . Nervously, I said let's do it. When I tell you I felt no pain, I literally had no idea my tooth was removed and the implant was in. He said he was almost done and I was in shock. Wait done done?! Yep. The whole process was less than an hour and was painless. I have had few good experiences at a dental office, today was one of them.
I will tell you that every single staff member I met was friendly, the office was pristine and the care, phenomenal. That is hard to say about any medical/dental care in the Las Vegas or Henderson area.
I am thankful for Dr. Uju and his staff for making a dreaded dental visit a great experience. I even got to hear him sing which made the anxiety better too!

CHECK THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST

I visited this office for X-rays and an exam and was told I needed a deep cleaning and treatment for a cavity, with a treatment plan that was VERY expensive. Because I was surprised by the recommendations, I chose to get a second opinion from my longtime family dentist.

After reviewing the X-rays that had been sent over, my family dentist said the images were ALTERED and the contrast looked MANIPULATED to make my teeth look worse. Long story short, he took new X-rays. Based on the new images and exam, I was told that I did not need a deep cleaning and that the cavity I had been told about was not present…

I understand that dental opinions can vary, but the significant difference in diagnoses left me concerned and disappointed. I would encourage others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to major or costly dental treatment.

We have finally found a great dentist office and it is close to our hous the team is so nice it all starts with Hailey at the front counter. I was able to visit and get forms and fill them out prior to the visit and everything was easy process the service was out standing and they really care about the patient and have a lot of options including payment arrangement. Super happy with my experience here! It had been a few (several) years since I'd been to the dentist, but they were non-judgemental and efficient. The newer x-ray machines are so much nicer than the old ones that used to stab your gums! And being able to do my crown on the same day was awesome! I was not looking forward to spending several weeks with a temporary. The office manager was also really nice and no-pressure when talking about insurance and how I'm gonna pay for this work! He wanted me to do a deep cleaning and a crown, so I decided to visit another place because they refused to provide me with a regular cleaning that is covered by insurance. Oh, and my new dentist didn’t even mention that I needed a crown or deep cleaning. My teeth are generally fine, I brush and floss every day.

As someone with dental-anxiety, having a filling crack is one of my worst nightmares; especially on a Saturday. I called and was able to get scheduled with Dr. Nelson for the following morning. I moved to Henderson a year ago and needed a dentist. My coworker recommended this place. She has been going to them for a bit. I have been here a few times with Dr Nelson and will continue to come here for my dental needs. They are even available on the weekends which has been fantastic and helped when i needed a tooth pulled quickly. The office is modern and clean and they offer warm beverages in the lobby. The staff is nice and I usually don't wait long at all for my appointments. Talayia assisted today and was nice and efficient with the camera thingy. She also took the time to fix a partial temporary tooth that wasnt fitting anymore. It took a bit of patience but she fixed it and it fits again!

Full disclosure, I was offered an upgrade on my crown for my honest review, a stronger - in house crown versus having to come back after the lab made it. Fair trade in my opinion to not have to make another trip.

I do stand by my words and my review. The wait was a little longer today because they had specialists here so there seemed to be more people here for appointments. They kept me updated though and apologized for the inconvenience. I have had to wait much longer for appointments at other places and it is not the norm here.

I am beyond grateful for Dr Nelson and his team here at Dentists of Henderson. For years I’ve been neglecting my teeth because of prior negative experiences with other dentists. After my first visit to get a filling repaired I was surprised by how quick, easy and PAINLESS the whole process was. I'm thrilled with my experience at Dr. Jun's office! Today, I had a tooth extraction, and Dr. Jun walked me through every step of the procedure, keeping me informed and at ease. Although I was a bit nervous about the expected pain and pressure, I felt completely safe and comfortable in his hands. In fact, the pain and pressure were extremely tolerable. One thing that really helped me relax was being able to watch an Animal Planet documentary on the monitor in front of me I even got to hear the audio the whole time, which was a great distraction! As a first time extraction patient, I was impressed by Dr. Jun's expertise and care. The dental assistant was also fantastic, explaining everything clearly and providing excellent post-op instructions. Dr. Ju & his team are absolutely amazing! My daughter went in for a check up, she ended up needed a tooth pulled as it was infected & they made her so comfortable. They also provide payment plans which is great. So happy to have found an amazing dental place that is close!

First time seeing a dentist in 5 years and it was a great experience! Been afraid to come but they made it easy and quick. Davion was incredible, going in detail about important things I ought to have known about keeping my teeth clean. Will be coming back for all my future cleanings and dental needs 🦷🪥

I, like most individuals absolutely hate going to the Dentist. From entering and meeting the Front desk staff, Brandy and Susan, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Cassie who did my imaging was excellent. After discussing my needs with Dr. Jun he gave me an excellent diagnostic. I was inquiring about having my teeth completely re-done. He gave a fair and honest quote. Highly recommend this dental office. Will use them and recommend to family members.

I absolutely love this dentist office. From the receptionists, dental hygienist to the dentists, everyone is so kind & respectful. I normally hate going to the dentists but they put me at ease so I don’t hate it as much. I love that they have a kids section right next door so it’s convenient to not have to remember separate locations for us. The office is always clean and never had an issue of infection. HIGHLY recommend this dentist.

I loved the entire experience!! The staff and the doctor are so comforting and spent so much time educating me on my teeth and all of the things that I needed to know in order to make the best decisions for me. I have never had an experience like this before and I intend to have my entire family come here. If you’re on the fence, please make a stop in and at least have the exam you won’t be sorry!

BE AWARE -- I recently went into this office to schedule a teeth cleaning appointment. The lady at the front desk scheduled me a new patient appointment for several weeks in the future. When I had my appointment the hygienist told me that I would not be getting my teeth cleaned that day and that all he was going to do was examine my teeth to provide a recommendation for what type of cleaning I would need. I was told the reason for this was that the hygienist schedule was fully booked and it could not be done that day. My question was "how can that happen when my appointment was made weeks ago?" I was not told when I booked the appointment that I would not get my teeth cleaned. Now I don't have dental insurance and I am wondering if that is why they wouldn't do it. This way the could charge me for the cleaning because they couldn't bill an insurance company for the initial appointment. In any event, be very careful in dealing with this dentist office. They are not transparent and upfront with you, especially if you don't have dental insurance.

UPDATE - The office responded to me by asking me to call them. The thing is, I spoke to the office right before posting my review. The lady on the other end apologized for my experience but they did not offer any resolution or discussion about next steps. They have all my contact info and if they wanted to reach out to me they could.

Wow! I chose the right one! I’m not a fan of dental visits but Dentists of Henderson was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental practice. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by Brandi who is very sweet, big smile on her face and although she runs a tight ship, It’s obvious she loves her job. Daniel, the X-ray tech was quick, friendly and very informative. When Dr. Jun walked in to speak with me he was very very nice, taking his time to explain in detail my X-ray results. I did not feel rushed at all. He is awesome. I got my teeth cleaned by Alvaro who was quick and quite the perfectionist. Finally, Davion who finished it off with a serious buff and polish made me laugh with his humor and much needed advice on how to have the best oral care. Sorry so long but for those who are looking for a new dentist, this is the place to go. Everyone was fantastic and skillful at what they do. I will be returning in six months and am looking forward to it. Thank you Dentists of Henderson for being great at what you do!

I came in for an emergency appointment and I was in and out in a few hours with two cavities filled!! Dr. Nelson is amazing at easing dental anxiety.

Wow! I have been bullied by every single hygienist/dentist from the east coast to the west, and Dentists of Henderson completely eliminated the fear of that happening again. They had nothing but positive energy and constantly reminded me everything was okay. The staff is PHENOMENAL and everyone there deserves their flowers. I have loved this dental office. The ladies are so sweet and Dr. Ray is amazing. We’ve been going here since it opened and only needed work once. I decided to try a new dentist that just opened by my house. Everyone was great! The front desk manager was personable, the x-ray tech was great, Dr. Jun was thorough and even did my cleaning himself. I decided to get my teeth whitened, and Davion was amazing. It’s a really long process, but he helped move it along as quickly as possible and was honest with me about what kind of results to expect. He also had me laughing, which helped me get through the process. They also didn’t try to upsell me on any treatment that I didn’t need. I’m glad I gave this dentist a try!

Update- don’t started great but fell off quickly. They can’t get their story straight on when you actually go in and one person says one thing and another says something else. So we cancelled both our follow up and future appointments to find a more honest dentist. Thanks Daniel, you are losing your company patients!

I can’t begin to say how wonderful EVERYONE at this office is!!! My 84 year old mother, who lives out of town, broke her tooth, and I called the magical humans at 4pm on a Friday. They were able to get my mom in to be seen and taken care of. Every one we interacted with was so sweet and bent over backwards to help us. They were sweet and compassionate and even spent extra time working to find my mom’s out of state insurance. I could cry thinking about how sweet everyone was to my mom. Seriously. Everyone in this office are wonderful human beings! Do yourself a favor and come see the folks at dentists of Henderson. You will not be sorry. They are WONDERFUL!!! ❤️❤️❤️
