Call to make appointment for my niece that I have guardianship For spoke with Trish was the most unprofessional representative I’ve ever spoke with very rude, was laughing and taking it as a joke my niece who is currently pregnant, had a ultrasound and is high risk. Starting to feel like they don’t know what they doing here and these doctors are just making guesses. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and they have me coming for NSTs/BPP just to tell me oh your fine but baby takes longer n longer to complete NSTs and BPP scored me an 6/8 I promise them I’m filing a negligence lawsuit if anything is wrong . Dr Keeler signed off on the increase of blood pressure medication but didn’t come and talk to me about it like I asked nor did the ladies doing the NSTs know any of the correct information but made sure to tell me if I don’t continue coming I’ll be noncompliant

They don’t care about your pregnancy for real they gave me a faulty BPP score 6/8 by shaking my stomach to see movement 3x even though without shaking my stomach he was not reactive.

Overall staff was awesome!
There is an ultrasound tech that works here by the name, Morgan, who was VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. From the start she did not speak after being spoken to. Being a patient having a last high risk ultrasound and the tech didn't even allow the baby to be seen during the appointment. As parents not knowing if this is a bad sign or not #WORRIED is an understatement. For this to be the last high risk ultrasound I'm very disappointed in how things went today.

I’ve come to this office ( and a few others) for my first and now my second pregnancy. Dr. Keeler has been good, I usually see him on my first visit. And then I follow up with RACHEL NP for the rest of my follow up visits, she’s FANTASTIC. The front staff, The ultrasound techs and staff have been great up until today.

Today was my last visit with this practice for this pregnancy, The ultrasound Tech Morgan who came and got me from the lobby when I spoke to her and asked Hi how are you doing she didn’t respond instead she just looked at me.. then very quietly proceeded to say ok we are going to get your weight I’m standing on the scale the weight is still changing and she tells me ok I got it, how? It wasn’t even a set weight yet. She has me sit down to check my blood pressure I have my arm out and she says in a very rude, loud, stern voice “ PUT YOUR ARM OUT” I said my arm is OUT! Then she’s like ok takes blood pressure, blood pressure is normal walks us to the room. Then asks me, Do you have on shorts under your dress? Im like no I have on underwear boyshorts. Ok, Are you comfortable with wearing that for the ultrasound or do you want me to give you a cover up? LIKE WHAT! the standard should be a cover up in every room. & No she didn’t give me a cover up. I have never been asked that before. She walks out, comes back in she starts the ultrasound. As she prepping she whispers quietly something not sure what she says so I ask what was that? Then very rudely she says move over more to the right. So I move, I’m asking her questions throughout the ultrasound she’s very rude with her responses and very short talking very low where you can barely hear her so when I ask her to repeat herself she response with an attitude. I felt like she didn’t want me talking to her at all and my husband also felt that way. To the point it made it very uncomfortable to be in the room with her during our LAST ultrasound she zoomed through it so fast ( that was the quickest scan we ever had at this practice) we didn’t even get any ultrasound pictures of our baby or see her face she didn’t even try and the sad part is we have been getting pictures every-time even if it’s just a side view. so Im very sad about that. Once she finished the ultrasound she then said Dr. Keeler would come in to talk to us, but my appt was supposed to be scheduled with Rachel and when I asked her about it she just looked at me and was like well she’s not here you’ll be seeing him…. Ok why wasn’t I informed about this before the visit?. I would have loved to know that because I would have rescheduled my appt to see her at whatever location she was at today because she’s been with me through the whole pregnancy.

All in all, My visits have been great except for TODAY and this review is solely for Morgan ultrasound tech. This is why it’s rated 1 star. I couldn’t imagine being in a situation where the pregnancy is very sensitive and she’s the ultrasound tech she definitely doesn’t show that she cares, very rude, and rushed her job. She doesn’t fit in with the aesthetic that this office provides ( happy and bubbly personalities). And when we walked out of the room she was sitting at her computer with her hands on her face with an attitude and didn’t speak to us with a goodbye, have a nice day or anything at all. If she doesn’t want to work, she shouldn’t be there!

I’ve been to all the desert perinatal locations for different types of ultrasound scans through my pregnancies and they have been always great with excellent staff and technicians until I came here. Front desk was super helpful and nurses were kind and curteous but the ultrasound tech Morgan was short and downright rude making for an uncomfortable ultrasound scan. She didn’t seem to fit into the vibe of professionalism and patient respect they otherwise excel at providing at other locations. Definitely not booking back into this location.

I've had multiple appointments with these clinic. First encounter, staff were amazing some were accommodating but my appointment lasted atleast 2 hrs and didnt get the chance to talk to the doctor because he/she was running behind and I needed to leave to pick up my kids. Second encounter, again....I waited for the doctor to see.me atleast 30 minutes just for him to talk to me for less than minutes and didn't really explained what can happen of the baby did t gain enough weight. Third encounter, it's my first time doing the weekly checks and Morgan the ultrasound tech was rude. Maybe she is having a bad day but if she hates her job so much, work in CT/MRI or somewhere you don't have to talk to any patients.

I've always used this office and they have been wonderful. But when they messed up my appointment times they didn't want to fix it. Now my process with all my other appointments for my pregnancy is delayed because I can't continue to move forward until I get this appointment done. I have been on time and intentional with my process and this does nothing but set me back. I am already 23 weeks and tired of running back and forth. Now I have to wait until December to even be close to being evaluated. This is a mistake on their part I made sure to put the date we discussed on my calendar and now their telling me it was for a completely different time and not the one that was discussed. I am a high risk and something can go wrong at any given time and with my schedule being held back like this who knows if that time will be either sooner or later. I was ready to go to my appointment and everything for today but now it's put off for another two weeks and I'm already busy with college and having three other kids it's hard to find a babysitter so when I have the time that's the only time I will have available!. And then for them to be laughing in the back like it's a joke is not ok. I'm tired of pushing back prescheduled plans over a mistake that should have never happened in the first place.

She did not explain anything. Talking extremely fast. Well I didnot tell anything to her but I am also healthcare worker and explain lots of info to my patients. Doctor Keeler was often seen playing on his phone between appointments leaving me to wait on him sometimes for 20+ minutes in an exam room. My time is money too. I also expressed that I did not want to know the gender of my baby but he still included it on my genetic testing. He has ruined the surprise, probably because he wasn't listening to me or my request and doesn't take his patients seriously. Just another assembly line doctor who doesn't care about the consequences of his actions. Haven't even gotten an apology from from him or his office. Don't go here if you want individualized care.

I came here with my husband for a high risk referral after concerns on my anatomy skin. As you can imagine, that’s very stressful and causes a lot of anxiety. The girl who did my ultrasound was very helpful and professional, and it was clear that she was very competent at her job. Dr. Palmquist was lovely and very knowledgeable. She explained everything to us in our ultrasound pictures, and I was very happy that baby was perfectly fine. She even explained why another clinic I had my anatomy scan at may have come up with those concerns. Overall, I was very happy with the staff and Dr. Palmquist and my husband and I are both very grateful to have had our questions answered, knowing we have nothing to worry about. They gave us peace of mind so we can just enjoy the rest of this pregnancy.

The nurse was very rude from the moment I got there. She already had so much attitude and dirty looks towards me and my baby. Mind you my baby is 9 months old. The whole time she was doing my ultrasound she kept sighing out of irritation bc my baby started crying. Then she tried saying my baby had to go in the waiting area bc of other patients like um no I’m not leaving my baby and there was literally other baby’s crying in the other rooms that I could hear . I coughed once while she was doing my ultrasound and she had the nerve to say are you done with so much attitude. Then once the doctor came in I asked for her name bc she didn’t give it and she said if there was a problem I explained to her no there wasnt I just didn’t appreciate how rude she was and the looks she was giving my 9 month old. After that they wanted to keep me to do a monitor on my baby’s heart after they just told me the baby’s heart beat looks good I was okay with it until they tried telling me I had to keep my baby in the waiting area, because there was “ NO ROOM” at that the room was super big 😂😂Mind you it was just me with my baby I had no one else to watch him in the waiting area, so you wanted me to leave my baby alone? Make it make sense. Then when I asked for the nurse who did my ultrasound name they acted like they didn’t know who she was I told them she just did my ultrasound bc I told them what she looked like they said “ we don’t have a nurse here who looks like that here” I said she just did my ultrasound🤣😶 then I asked for her name again another nurse came and made me sign a paper stating that I wasn’t staying. I’m not about to be somewhere where there being rude bc of my baby crying I don’t play that at all whatsoever. Then she still didn’t tell me the name until I asked again “ were you able to get the nurse name “ she goes it’s Morgan I said okay thank you. They were whispering about me the whole time bc of something they were doing wrong. I would’ve expected them to be nice considering the place but no it was my first time ever there qnd they were so rude. I will not be going back there again smh I was very disappointed with their service.

Love this place so much I’ve only gone to one appt so far but they are really attempted with the patient. Front desk and back desk where really commutative in explain and answering questions. Colleen was so great! Explained everything so smooth and answered every question that needed it. Dr Kaleen was pretty nice well. We will see how things are next time 🫶🏼

The care team has been amazing here so far. I had an amniocentesis performed and worked with a genetics counselor. The ultrasound techs, phlebotomist, nurses, and Dr Palmquist have been fantastic and really helped ease my anxiety during a difficult pregnancy. Everything is looking good at 20 weeks. Thanks DP!

This was my first time at DPA and everyone was so welcoming. Dr. Keeler was very attentive and thorough with explaining everything to me so that I understood. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! It's a stressful feeling thinking, omg high risk? While pregnant however EVERY person I've come in contact with at Desert Perinatal has made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and well informed! I prefer coming here over my regular OB visits lol and the bonus is... You get to see baby regularly!! I am grateful for the staff because they put your mind at ease answering all questions without making you feel silly about it haha I highly recommend this place!!

The overall experience was average. I was put in a corner space with a curtains with no privacy. The doctor came in and spoke about my pregnancy where it could be heard in the nurse/medical assistant floor. I could also hear patients walking around the common area. I felt that for the amount I am paying for the consult I should be able to be seen in a private room to discuss my case. The doctor was nice but I felt uncomfortable being in the open.

Amazing Dr! Highly recommend, he reviewed my referral prior to my appointment and explained everything necessary. He didn’t rush anything and took his time . And his medical assistants were amazing sweet and welcoming and helpful !

I am being treated by Dr. Keeler and Dr. Abalos and both are onderful Doctors! They explain everything and are kind to me as a patient, let's me ask questions if I have any or any doubts. I feel in good hands when I go to DPA, cause the whole staff is super kind in general, I would definitely recommend it!

I'm currently pregnant with twins and Desert Perinatal Associates has been taking care of us since day 1.. The doctors here are amazing as well as the nurses!!!! I'm very satisfied with my experience ☺️
