I came here for a denture. I had to have two lower front teeth pulled which means I had to get a partial lower piece. I’m on Medicaid and was charged $750 it should’ve been free. This took place 3 or so years ago and to this day the denture looks worse then when I intiallly went in and the lower piece has tore my mouth up so bad it will never heal! Coming here was by far the worst dental experience I’ve ever had in my 61 years of life. The teeth on denture are way to short and the lower piece has never fit right and all this time later I’m still in pain. If you need a denture GO TO A DENTURE CLINIC! I cannot stress that enough. Because of the $750 charge I had to put on a credit card and making payments on that I couldn’t afford I was unable to pay rent and became homeless. I don’t smile and I’m in pain every day for years now. Most horrible experience ever!

I had an awful experience at this place. I was referred for sleep apnea and the front office sat on my paperwork for 6 months. After multiple attempts to figure out the status, I was told that they had been bought out, but I was welcome to pay cash price for further services. No apology for wasting 6 months of my time. I scheduled an appointment over the phone and specifically confirmed that I could get my exam, X-rays, and cleaning done the same day. When I arrived, I was told the hygienists are never there on Mondays — which makes me question why I was scheduled for that day in the first place.

I went ahead with the exam and X-rays, but the communication and care felt very unprofessional. I was told I have cavities but was not informed which teeth, how many surfaces, or shown anything on the X-rays. When I asked for clarification, I was brushed off and told to “go to my regular dentist” — which defeats the entire purpose since I recently moved here from Ohio and was trying to establish care with a new dentist.

Overall, this visit felt disorganized, dismissive, and not patient-focused. The costs were very high and Doctor is clearly just looking for a paycheck rather than fulfilling his job.

I don’t normally write reviews but this one is a MUST! I was told that I had to pay $89 for my first visit here even though my provider told me that my first visit is covered and FREE. I expressed this to this dentist office and they said it was their office policy, they also ensured me that I would get a free cleaning as well. I paid the money and had a 5min exam, all I was told was that I needed a deep clean, didn’t talk about my teeth or if I needed any fillings or anything. I was then told once I pay $750 for my deep cleaning today that then we would talk about cavities etc and that they couldn’t provide me a free cleaning either. The visit was all about money, even if I needed a deep clean, why promise a free cleaning before even seeing my teeth, they did that to get me there and pay the $89. My provider said there is no policy they can make up and that starting today, this place will be investigated. It’s already hard out here as is but to be taken advantage of by a dentist is worse. Please don’t waste your time or money coming here, seek somewhere else. I’m already reporting them to BBB as I type this, thank you !

Very disappointed with this office. My wife scheduled both of us for a routine cleaning. We showed up this morning and were informed that their "hygienist" was off today so they couldn't do a cleaning. I can’t say enough good things about this place! When my crown broke taking a bite of a cookie, not only did they get me in on the same-day, they were kind, comforting, and professional. I felt safe and not judged for possible dental neglect in the past. They made me feel like it was going to be okay and gave me options to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

Well first of all I was referred to Discover Smiles Dental, the office of Dr. Khairah, for my Sleep Apnea and to obtain an appliance due to the fact I could not use other Sleep Apnea apparatuses. Today I met Dan the Dental Hygienist and absolutely had the best cleaning since I have been in Las Vegas these past 8 years. Dr Raj is awesome. Had some fillings done after I had some minor sensitivity issues. I called and Dr got me in for a recheck and a few moments later all was good. Dan is an awesome hygienist my teeth felt cleaner than ever after he cleaned them. All the staff are very helpful.

I don't usually write reviews for places, but I felt the need to for Discover Smiles Dental. When it comes to making any dr or dentist appts I get very anxious, especially since I don't take very good care of myself. I was afraid of being judged since I hadn't gone to the dentist in a while, but the staff was very nice and made sure to get me in as quickly as possible to get my cavities filled and my teeth cleaned. They are very knowledgeable and make sure to go over any questions you may have. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I came to this dentist cause my insurance referred me. When I first called to make my appointment the receptionist DANA said my insurance didn't cover anything and I would need to pay everything out of pocket and just to be seen would be $80. I called my insurance and they said that wasn't true and I was covered. My insurance called them and informed them that and when I called them back to schedule my appointment DANA was rude and I felt as though she didn't want to book my appointment cause I wasn't paying out of pocket. Fast forward to my appointment today, I have been sitting here waiting for 40 min. There has been 4 people that came in AFTER ME and they have all been called but I'm still here waiting. I feel like they are discriminating cause of my insurance. If you have liberty dental. DON'T COME HERE. They will try to lie and say insurance doesn't cover anything to make you pay out of pocket. I'll never be back here I've never had an experience like this at a dentist.

I am glad to have found Discover Smiles Dental. I have been wanting an implant for a long time and Dr Adam made this possible for me, and today I'm still enjoying the ability to eat normally.

Dr. Raj (spelling?), Claudia, Tina, Tiffany andJackie are the most fantastic medical professionals and staff that I have been to in a long time. I took my nana here yesterday for her new dentures consultation, then twice today to drop off her dentures for impression then picked them up at 3. All of the above named were sooo kind and patient with my 87 year old nana. Dr. Raj explained the process in perfect detail, which I loved since I'm a medical transcriptionist for a maxillofacial surgeon (so I totally understand the terminolgy). Tiffany was fantastic at helping nana get her xray done to where it was comfortable and so she wouldn't fall, Jackie was so sweet doing nanas impressions today and Claudia and Tina in the front office have been so accommodating with our busy schedule and understanding when we arrive late when nana struggles to get ready on time. After the horrible year we had losing both my parents so suddenly and two months apart, and the terrible experiences we've had at several of her doctors appointments (and my own) I cannot stress enough how amazing this staff and doctor are. So much so that I am already filling out the paperwork to have MY dental work done by Dr. Raj! And that's a big deal because I have major anxiety going to the dentist from trauma as a kid, so I'm even willing to get my work done by him under local because they don't offer general anesthesia. Dr. Raj, I hope you and your staff read this message and the one I'm about to do on yelp. You have made our hectic week so much brighter and my nana being happy not only means the world to me, it really improves her and I's relationship. She has talked about all of you all the way home both yesterday and today and has called many of her friends to tell them how wonderful you are. I had a wonderful experience at Discover Smiles Dental from start to finish.
First, Tyron at the front desk is simply fabulous. He extremely attentive, kind, and sends reminder texts, which is so helpful for a busy person like myself.
Then I moved to the hygienist, Tiffany, for X-rays. She could tell I was nervous taking the X-rays. I’ll tell you this wonderful woman moved as fast as humanly possible to take the X-rays and ensure that I was comfortable. I was very grateful.
And after Dr. Raj evaluated my X-rays and we discussed my options. He was beyond kind, funny, professional and in good spirits, which I loved.
Then I moved to Dan for a deep cleaning. He did the laser light treatment, which I would highly recommend.
Overall, my experience with Dr Raj and staff, was first class and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Especially, those who are a little nervous to go to the dentist like myself.

Like most people I hate going to the dentist, I have had horrible experiences in the back so just the thought terrifies me! I found out about them through google looked at the website and was pretty well organized and had videos explaining procedures which I found very helpful. As soon as I called to make an appointment Tyron was very helpful and answered all my questions. My visit to the office was amazing I was shaking since the moment I walked in there but the assistants were super nice and made me felt comfortable. Dr Raj was extremely AMAZING!!! He explained everything and walked me through everything. Dan who did my cleaning was terrific!!! It did not hurt at all!! he used a very good numbing gel, and my teeth feel nice and clean now, as far as treatment dr was very gentle with me and made me feel very comfortable. I love everyone here will definitely recommend it to everyone!!!!

I can’t express how much I appreciate the service that was given to me today . Everywhere else I have gone I have experienced horrible customer service , little to no work on my mouth , & felt like I was just a “ poor person “ in most eyes / constantly being turned down because of my Medicaid . They not only made me feel welcome from the second I entered to the second I left but these people have given me a different outlook & have really helped me not only mentally but soon physically thank you so much !
