When I first moved to Las Vegas a year ago, I searched for a Dr to treat me. My first visit to Dr Emma Montanez resulted in me deciding to stay with her for my Dr. I am so glad I did. She has worked with me in trying to get my diabetes under control. My A1C is way down, I no longer have constant pain in my feet, and I’ve lost 20 lbs. I suffer with agoraphobia, anxiety, and depression and she has worked with me to get these conditions treated as well. My relationship with her feels comfortable and friendly. She really cares! I would recommend her and her staff to anyone looking for personalized treatment. Best Dr I’ve ever had!!

I can't Express enough how every interaction with the staff via over the phone or in person has been exceptional with the kindness and professionalism and that includes my primary care physician Anthony Marlon or known as "A.J"to most staff and patients. A.J takes time with his patients with needing to get to the bottom of your health concerns as promptly as possible and he and his staff go above and beyond in assissting the patients to get our specific health issues addressed,diagnosed, and treated. A.J has consistently been professional,courtious, and has a sense of humor that makes him more personable. I have never encountered a negative experience at Intermountain Healthcare and have continued to recommend him to family and friends and a couple of friends switched to A.J as their new primary care physician and have been happy since. They were lucky that Intermountain Health care accepted their specific health insurances. I can't thank Kenya, A.J., and all staff for consistently maintaining exceptional customer service and the constant contact with his patients concerning referrals, specialists, medications, and future appointments .
Its a shame that i have not had the best experience with the other 97% of the other medical doctors I have to encounter for actual specialist or procedures. This town is overflowing with doctors, surgeons, and physicians who not only seem annoyed to have to help treat you but could care less about your well being and more about the paycheck. Thank you A.J and intermountain Healthcare staff for prioritizing the patients and holding high standards in failing medical community.

I have just turned 65 years oId. I recently was in a one month COVID coma. When I was admitted to the hospital I was in a coma. I was in critical condition and admitted to I.C.U. unit. I had suffered 2 heart attacks, was intubated twice, and had a ventilator.
When you go on a ventilator it's pretty much all over!

I have survived, and many medical people have told me I am a miracle. Why am I sharing this with you? I want to tell you about how scared I am. (I now suffer from Long Covid). I had to go see a primary doctor, to give me all the referrals I needed to begin all my testing.

I choose a doctor at random that was close to home. I made an appointment with him. When I arrived for my appointment at A & P Medical Group I was told I would see Meia Ford, a CNP not the doctor. She seemed aggravated by all my questions and seemed to rush the appointment.
In addition to my negative feelings about Meia Fords bedside manner it was almost impossible to speak to anyone in their office. You had to stay
on hold forever and if you left a message asking for a return call, they didn't return your call that day. Lastly, my pharmacist would leave several messages to refill my prescriptions and they would not call him back for days!

My insurance company changed and A&P Medical did not accept my new company. I happily choose a new doctor, again one close to my home.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Ali Shehata @ Intermountain Healthcare Desert Heights. Dr.Shehata was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly, kind and answered all my questions, in depth, and ask me a lot more questions than the other nurse did. He was going to contact all the doctors I had seen so far and request my records sent to him.
Dr. Shehata gave me the impression he really cared about my future health. He spent over 2 hours with me! and told me if I ever feel a need to see him for any reason, I could come to the office without an appointment and they would squeeze me in!

If you want to see a doctor you can trust, that truly cares about you and your health, CALL DR.SHEHATA!!!!!!!

Had a bad case of food poisoning. Had to get an IV due to dehydration. Better now but still rehydration. Dr. Shehata was a life saver because my heart rhythm was off because of the fluid loss. Also attempting to set up a surgery because of kidney cancer, just in case the V.A. doesn't get it done.
