DO NOT SEE DR. GOEBEL - she came on a list of "preferred pediatricians" from Serenity Birth Center/Baby's First Day LLC, which is disappointing because we love the midwives and doctors over there. However, Goebel herself was highly dismissive of our concerns for our baby. She also seemed to always be in a hurry to her next appointment, which as a first time parent with a newborn is highly concerning. Goebel seemed to lack sympathy/empathy - when sharing our concerns with our son who clearly had stomach issues while sleeping, she would say things like "well maybe you -think- he has stomach issues..." Which, even if she were right, her tone indicated that she is the type of doctor that will use her title not to guide you and help you, but to belittle you and gaslight you.

It was later confirmed that our son did indeed have stomach issues, and it was actually related to his diet. We saw other professionals and we were able to narrow it down to a very specific type of allergy - something Goebel didn't even consider.

Even more worrisome is that her recommendations were downright dangerous - she recommended we use peppermint oil on our son to help him sleep, which thank God we did our research because peppermint oil is actually TOXIC to infants and can cause an increased risk of seizures!!!

I am not sure why she is so highly rated, perhaps she gives genuine care and concern to other patients. However, as her patients we did not feel we could trust her with the health of our son. Please find another pediatrician, I do not wish for others to have the same experience as we did with her.

We have loved Dr Goebel for over 10 years ! She has taken great care of both my daughters. We have followed her to all 3 of her locations. She is so attentive, caring and knowledgeable. We don't trust any one else and we have seen our share of pediatrics in this town. THANK YOU Dr.Goebel!

First time meeting Dr. Goeble, for my newborn. I have 4 other children, so have had multiple different Dr. over the years. She is very kind and informative, no judgement from her that I had a homebirth, and that I want to do different with this child. She was recommended by my midwife. I will differently be coming to her for further needsand appts.

As an adult I still haven’t found a doctor I feel confident with so I am so truly grateful to have found Dr. Goebel for my kids. I can trust her advice and recommendations for their health. We first started seeing her when she was at the office closest to our house and we only had one child. Since then we’ve had another and now travel 30 minutes each way to her new location, she is well worth it. Dr. Goebel has taken her time with each and every concern I have had. She makes me feel not only my children are cared about but so am I (and my husband when he’s able to attend the check ups). Even though she is extremely attentive I have never had to wait long to be seen.

Dr. Goebel is by far the best pediatrician. She has years of experience and is kind. She does not rush you or make you feel like you ask silly questions. She gives amazing tips that we never thought of. Our kids love coming to see her. We travel quite a ways because we refuse to see anyone else.

Dr Goebel is great. Both my daughters have been going to her since before they were even born. She is one of the only drs I have found that has no problem spacing out vaccinations or skipping them altogether. We have moved to Seattle but I will always miss her and bring my girls back to see her when we are in town.
I always felt comfortable and never rushed or pressured by her.

Dr. Goebel is an amazing doctor. She spends time with her patients and I’ve never felt rushed. Last time we went my 2.5 year old told me to leave and that she was goi g to stay with Dr. Goebel. She loves going to see her.

Dr Goebel is an incredible woman! I love more holistic approaches with my daughter and I can trust Dr Goebel! She does NOT push vaccines like a previous review claims. She gives honest feedback about allvacines and lets you as the parent decide what’s the best choice for YOUR FAMILY! She has a great sense of humor and we always love visiting her!

Dr Goebel is a thorough, kind and understanding physician. We have been going to her for 8 years and each of my 4 kids love her. She is not going to always give the text book answer. Instead she will use her experience and expertise to give great care. One of my children struggled with vaccines. Following this experience, I chose to spread my kids' vaccines out by making more trips. Dr Goebel was honest with me about the order of vaccines she would recommend. We are definitely partners in my children's healthcare. She does not dismiss my concerns about my children's health. The only negative thing I can say is she is so hard to get into but we love Dr Goebel!
