I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Dunsmoor and his staff. He has been my doctor for several years now. I trust him completely. He takes time to listen to and answer all my concerns and questions. I also appreciate that he works with me on my treatment plans. (I try to utilize a holistic approach as much as I possibly can). Dr. Dunsmoor is an outstanding Doctor.

I’m back three months later with another horrible report… One Sign of a horrible business is one that could care less about checking the reviews especially the -ones… Newsflash that’s your clientele Trying to tell you things about yourself, you should probably take interest ???
Again, if it wasn’t for my primary care physician at this practice, I would’ve left ages ago… The people at the front ARE NOT EQUIPPED For a customer service role. They are dismissive, short, and plain out rude… it’s Wednesday, March 11 and I got off the phone right around 8:05 AM, whoever was there at that time that handled my phone call should be banned from being able to speak with customers. Let alone customers that are calling into a primary care facility, which means they need some sort of care for themselves, which means you should lead with some sort of empathy… This person has none of that, in fact, it felt like we were in an argument just to schedule my Appointment. Being treated like this is bs. I will keep sounding off here so others are aware before joining.

Terrible and incompetent staff! Dr. Dunsmoor is a nice doctor but he has too many patients to keep up with and the staff constantly makes mistakes and is very rude.

Very happy with the care given from Dr. Kevin Dunsmoor and the staff. Been going for several years and plan on continuing to use them in the future. Plus, I've known Kevin since he was one of the neighborhood boys playing with my own kids.

WOW… all i can say is wow. I am in complete disbelief of the way I have been treated by the Mountain View primary care staff at smoke ranch. Firstly, I wanna start by saying the staff has not been rude by any means, but just extremely unprofessional and unorganized.
I started going to this doctor, specifically Dr. Noorda, because of the incredible reviews he had about him as far as his practice and medicine… I wanna make it very clear that I am only continuing to come to this office because of the incredible care that I’ve received from Dr. Noorda and only because of that.
Otherwise, it has been extremely frustrating and an impeccable waste of my time… I Initially went in 11/26 to get blood drawn and provide samples that I was asked for for testing… When I arrived, there was a ton of confusion on what test were actually supposed to be performed on me so that was frustrating, and then after they finally figured everything out, and I was able to provide them with the correct paperwork, they took the samples they thought I needed it, and I proceeded to leave the office as normal… Literally less than three minutes later they called me back to back letting me know if I’m able to rush back in. They forgot to give me some test that we’re on the list for me that day, which was already a red flag, but I decided that everyone makes mistakes and I went back in with no problem., Mind you I live over 25 minutes away, so this is not convenient travel wise for me by any means, but I will travel anywhere for good care.
Fast-forward to today, December 4, I go in for my appointment to drop off the test that I was sent home with 11/26 to test me further, and when I went in to drop off the samples, everything appeared to be fine. I gave them to the phlebotomist, And I left… As per usual.
Unbeknownst to me, I’m driving 25 minutes away to go back home and get back to work, I’m on a work call as I drive home and I noticed that Mountain View called me twice back to back… I’m on an important call so I cannot switch over, and the first thing I thought is there is absolutely no way they are calling me because they forgot something again, I am already traumatized that happened to me the first time.
Once I was finished with my work call, I gave them a call back lo and behold just to find out that yet again they incorrectly read my charts. They told me that the way that the tests were requested. We’re all on one line and was confusing the phlebotomist told me she had to ask aOnce I was finished with my work call, I gave them a call back low and behold just to find out that yet again they incorrectly read my charts. They told me that the way that the tests were requested. We’re all on one line and was confusing the phlebotomist told me she had to ask a nurse how to also read the paperwork just for them to call back and tell me they need an additional 5+ tests and that I ultimately wasted my time coming down and giving them the test that I drove 25 minutes to give them, because That wasn’t actually all of the test that I was supposed to provide to them initially, which was completely unbeknownst to me because they literally never told me .
So now I have to go back for my appointment December 18, but we were originally supposed to discuss all of the results that I had already sent in, now that Appointment is essentially obsolete because the testing still isn’t done, mind you I have driven back-and-forth to the office more than five times now trying to achieve the same results and something that should be extremely simple… all she could literally tell me verbatim was “well you don’t have to drive back up here if you don’t want to I was just making you aware“… Girl of course I have to drive back up there. This is my health we’re talking about, no matter how frustrating it is I’m going to do whatever it takes to finally get these test submitted, but wow the hoops I’ve had to go through is crazy!
I’m typically not want to complain, but the situation has left me feeling helpless and in disbelief!

Not a bad doctor but his office staff sucks. They are lazy, don't get back to you in a timely manner, take a long time to do prior auths, and refuse to fill out insurance paperwork. Stay away.

WOW DID YOU KNOW BEING SICK A LOT AND COVID RUNNING RAMPANT, being considerate and canceling appointments will get you dropped from this primary care physician, very interesting considering it would all be in the dr notes and would make sense wouldn’t it? let’s not talk about almost waiting 8 months to get in to see a dr, oh and waiting for over an hr or more to get called back, rarely EVER get to see the actual provider you chose and having to see random providers just to get seen.primary care providers are a jk
I would think twice before picking this dr office

Jill Jensen is top notch. She actually takes the time to listen to you- I've never felt like I've actually been heard by a doctor or NP. She's interested in getting to the ROOT of the issue, instead of just slapping a bandaid on it and calling it a day. Highly recommend.

As a doctor myself I am very particular in my own care and where I seek care. Dr Dunsmoor is the best, period. Yes, he's busy but so is your favorite restaurant. He's busy because he is that smart and that good at what he does.

My mom saw Jill Jensen, NP on 1/11 for a visit but didn’t get any lab orders given to me or to the lab until 1/26. I had to keep calling them about it & had to wait more than 2 weeks! for them just to order basic labs for my mom so we can know what’s going on with her. I’m a nurse, so I gave them a lot of patience, but this was unacceptable and total lack of care for a patient.

This is the first time I’ve actually felt totally heard and cared for by a doctor. Dr. Dunsmoor actually listened to all my health concerns and didn’t rush at all like I am used to doctors doing. He is also doing all the test necessary to make sure I’m ok. I really appreciate this doctor and feel very grateful to have him as my new primary care doctor!

The first great thing I liked was not having to wait very long for a new patient appointment. I went into this appointment extremely nervous because 1. Of all the problems I had been having and needed addressed and 2. Because my last PCP could care less about anything you tell him and I did not want to feel that way again.
I saw the P.A. Cathleen Pearson and I’m happy I did. She addressed ALL and I literally mean ALL of my concerns. Asked many questions to get as much information as she could, made time to speak with me in detail about every concern and told me what the next steps were in getting these issues addressed.
I felt heard and I feel confident in her being my new PCP that we will finally get some answers to all these issues.
I would also like to mention that I had no issues with the front desk staff. From scheduling my new patient appointment and from check in to check out the day of my appointment they were respectful and very helpful.

Nasty little people at the front desk make sure that you feel embarrassed, and everyone in the whole office hear all the information being told to you. The whole office is unprofessional and have bad attitudes… have canceled this dr from my caretakers and will express my feelings to anyone who may be looking for a dr… the nasty little people are terrible office staff..
But Kevin Dunsmoor is a great doctor.

I recently relocated to Vegas from Chicago. I had been warned that Healthcare here was sketchy and it is very hard to find a good Doctor. I was referred to Dr. Dunsmoor from a good friend here. Although it took a while to get an appointment, I was extremely pleased with the care I received. He is very thorough and took his time to talk and listen to my helath concerns. I feel very confident in him as a physician and would recommend him highly. His office staff was very courteous. His assistant has helped me on numerous occasions with some test results and got back to me in a timely manner. I had no problems. I have also recommended him to a few friends as well. However, I don't think he is accepting new patients at this time. Even then, one friend was able to make an appointment with his PA and at least got the ball rolling with tests. I understand the PA is excellent as well.

Called to set an appointment for a previous patient and was very rudely dismissed and hung up on. Being in the healthcare industry I have never experienced someone as rude as the receptionist on the phone. Dr. Dunsmoor is a great doctor but he needs to fire his staff and hire people who do not make him look bad.

The Doctor is great, very knowledgeable and helpful. However his staff and reception desk is very difficult and hard to deal with. They have no Care or understanding of my time or concerns… I had to find a new doctor to see due to the lack of concern from the staff… I was never able to just speak to Dunsmoor about MY Medical concerns. His staff there has bad attitudes.
To add I’ve been with the Dr for over 10 years since 2011 through 4 different offices. His staff is running me away… What good is a doctor that no one can communicate with??????

Ever since going to Dr. Dunsmoor he has been great. The office staff on the other hand is a different story. I have spoken to them numerous times with setting up appointments since there was no notification that Dr. Dunsmoor had switched to mountain view primary care. There was also no notification that you are charged a fee to use credit or debit cards or any other form of payment for co-pays. This is ridiculous. They are rude and you seem to be bothering them. The staff is not friendly or inviting at all. It's unfortunate since he is such a nice, friendly doctor. Definitely thinking about switching. Very unfortunate.

I've been seeing Dr. Dunsmoor since the summer of 2010! It wasn't long before my husband changed to him also. He takes as long of time that you need. He does not rush through your visit. That's why he's usually behind in app'ts. He is very thorough and I like that in my doctor!

Dr Kevin Dunsmoor is a GREAT doctor. I have known him professionally for more years than I want to count. But, I do remember the first time I went to him. I was apprehensive about changing doctors. Would he know or understand my medicines and many medical problems? My fears were unfounded when I saw him. He knew each of my medications. He also found conflicts with them. My cholesterol and triglycerides were out of control. Within 3 months they were on point. He is not afraid to refer you to great specialists too.
Dr Dunsmoor is the best of the best. Caring. Dependable. Knowledgeable. He explains everything to you so you understand it. Call him now for an appointment! You won't be sorry.

As we all know it is VERY hard to find a good general practitioner here in Vegas. It is my experience Dr. Dunsmoor is the tippy top. His new practice is a great step forward. My wife and myself have been his patients for over 6 years, and count ourselves lucky to have found him. We have been here 18 years now, and have seen some truly mediocre Doctors along with some we came to believe were just outright dangerous. If you need a really good, caring, professional practice MountainView (not to be confused with Mountain View) is for you. Thank you Doctor Dunsmoor.
