I found Dr. Gan-Lim to be very likable, and very knowledgeable. He takes a lot of time with you, and thoroughly explains all of your test results.to you so you can understand what your health status is, and what you should do about any problems you might have. His staff I found to be very friendly. I highly recommend him, and am very glad I found him!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this clinic. I called to inquire about Medicaid coverage, and the receptionist was incredibly rude right from the start. Instead of answering my simple question, she turned me away with an attitude. When I tried to get more information about pricing options, she went out of her way to threaten to report me to Medicaid, which made me feel disrespected and insecure about needing assistants from the government. I was just trying to get the help I needed, and instead, I was treated like a burden. It's clear this place is more interested in making money than actually helping people.

Am 72. Never have been to a more caring Dr.
Highly, highly highly recommend.
Waited for 5 minutes, I have COPD. Took 1/2 hour with me discuss the way to treat my illness.
Follow up with DETAILED analysis and discussion of blood, lung xray. Phoned me, at least, 4 times after visit.
Stephanie, Medical Assist, even phoned.
HIGHLY recommend.

Dr. Gan-Lim has been my MDVIP CONCIERGE Doctor for the past 2 years and if I could give him 10 stars, I would. He is one of the best -- and most thorough -- Doctors I have ever been seen by. Dr. Leonardo A. Ganlim is the BEST doctor on the planet! My mom has been his patient for over a decade. I have taken her to many doctors and NONE of them have given the kind of service in excellence as Dr. Ganlim. Dr. Ganlim is very patient, kind and understanding. He is ALWAYS available when we call. I read some of the previous reviews and I want to let everyone know that Dr. Ganlim has an entirely different team and we never wait more than 5 minute to see him with a scheduled appointment. If he could handle billions of clients, I would recommend every person on the planet to him because I've never met a doctor like him and when it comes to my mom, I want ONLY the best for her - and he's the BEST that God blessed us with so I know she's in great hands with Dr. Ganlim and is being given quality care.

Well, yet another reason not to be apart of the health care system that is coming to Las Vegas. Dr.GanLim was my family's doctor for 14 yrs and then when the practice was taken over by Humana, we were dropped and have been treated like a number. My grandmother died and I was unable to get a new doctor right away. I called and tried to get a prescription refilled because of the issues of my grandmother dying couldn't get into the new doctor until the end of the month, mind you not, the prescription said to not just stop taking because it could cause major health issues.. However, there was no care for the patient, only the insurance you carry. I would have even paid cash to see the doctor. It didn't matter that stop taking the medication could kill me, cause major health issues, or my grandmother died, the office staff still wouldn't even tell him or ask that the prescription get refilled. Which shows no patient care what so ever. It wouldn't have hurt anyone else for the doctor to refill the prescription. So unless you want to be treated like a number, I suggest finding another doctor.

I really would like to give the doctor a 5 star review. WHEN you get to see him he gives good advice and understands how improving your health goes beyond just conventional medicine and pills. That said, everything else about this place has led me to a 1 star. What people say about wait times is true. At my wife's last visit, she waited 30 minutes in the front room and then TWO HOURS in the back room waiting for the doctor. She also poked her head out to make sure the doctor was there. But what I really dislike is how we felt like we're just treated like a number and not a person by the staff. Clearly the woman we spoke with has dealt with a lot of patient issues over the phone being that they are no longer taking some insurances (like ours). Although our concerns of no longer being able to see Dr. Gan-Lim and what that meant for us moving forward is vitally important to us, to the woman on the phone we felt like we were an annoyance to her as if she's already heard all this problems from other people before and no real concern for our wellbeing or questions. But hey, whatever - we can move on. I guess you just don't like to think the doctor you've been going to and the staff there one day will just turn on you like that so quickly. Nice one day, annoyance when they are done with you. Sorry doctor, I wish you well.

As I sit in the exam room at 1:10 pm waiting for the doctor to come in, I need to impress upon you the fact that MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 11AM!!!! I complained to the staff, but their only cavalier response is "He normally runs TWO HOURS BEHIND." Can you believe the utter audacity of this man who routinely and blatantly disrespects and disregards his patients? So here I sit waiting, wondering how someone so RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE still has enough patients to even stay in business. This is definitely my FIRST and LAST appointment!!!

I have never met this Dr but I had a 11:45 appointment. Nurse brought me in at 11:45 and said the Dr will be right in. One hour later I stuck my head out in the hallway and told a nurse I've been waiting for an hour. She said she will let them know. 15 min later I'm assuming it was Dr Gan Lim stuck his head in the room and said, "opps wrong room, ill be right back". Another 15 min goes by with no one checking on me. I've had enough and walked out. One hour later I called his office and complained about waiting an hour and a half, whoever answered the phone said, "that's normal". Enough said, never going back there again! It seems that he has no regard for his patients. I get there on time for my appointment, I would expect the same from him.

Waiting time is incredible 1 1/2 to 2 hrs for a 10 minute visit. Computer system is always breaking down. Numerous mistakes on personal information. Dr. spends time during your 10 minutes on the phone talking to someone else. Office personal pompous and lazy.

Dr. Gan-Lim is very compassionate, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly. You can instantly tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being (not just all about seeing as many patients as possible to maximize profits).

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a high-calibur, excellent doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. I am even considering switching to Dr. Gan-Lim as my new PCP.

First and last visit, ever.

I arrived 40 minutes early to complete new patient paper work. I was ignored and disrespected by Nayeli, the front desk representative. She gave me commands as if I were a dog.

Unfortunately, I never met Dr Gan-Lim. I decided to cancel my appointment after waiting 30 minutes past confirmed time.

The office manager Cynthia was not present, but I called later that afternoon. She explained that the Dr Gan-Lim is aware of his schedule and she cannot control when a doctor arrives.

Mind you, I called earlier that morning to confirm the appointment. These things happen. I don't blame Nayeli, Cynthia, or even Dr Gan-Lim.

But as a patient, this is unacceptable.
